A two-level fracture model of composites with cracks under compression is proposed. Fiber-reinforced laminated panels with a hole are considered. The panels are compressed along the fibers so that two cracks propagate from the hole boundary at a right angle to the loading direction. The fracture mechanism is analyzed at two levels. The first level is the compression-induced stress concentration at the tip of a finite-thickness crack filled with a fractured material. At this level, the theory of elasticity of linear orthotropic body is used. The second level is compression fracture at the crack tip. The analysis performed at this level involves the three-dimensional linearized theory of stability of solids, considering microcracks in the interface between the fractured and intact materials, and the exact solution describing the compression-induced instability of the cracked interface. The second level is where results obtained by the author are used. The laws of stable crack growth are analyzed using fracture mesomechanics models for polymeric materials under long-term subcritical tension. A review is given of experimental and theoretical studies of crack-tip process zones. The studies were conducted using physical and mechanical methods and fracture mesomechanics models, allowing for the structural and rheological features of process zones. Cylindrical shells produced by single-layer or cross winding are analyzed for stability. An approximate analytical solution
is proposed. It allows evaluating the effect of an unbalanced laminate on the critical values of the axial load, intensity
of external pressure, and shear forces. It is shown that the effect of imbalance weakens with increase in the number of laminas.
In each specific case, the number of laminas at which the material can be considered orthotropic is determined

梁中横向裂纹等效为无质量内部转动弹簧,假定纤维增强聚合物(FRP)布与梁表面紧密粘贴,建立了考虑轴向压力二阶效应FRP 布加固裂纹梁线性弯曲的控制方程,并得到其显式解析通解.在此基础上,研究了FRP加固简支裂纹木梁的稳定性,通过数值求解方程,分析了纤维增强聚合物(CFRP)布含量、裂纹深度和位置以及数量等因素对CFRP 布加固简支裂纹杉木梁临界载荷的影响,结果表明:CFRP 加固可明显减小裂纹深度和数量等对裂纹杉木梁临界载荷的影响,且裂纹处弯矩较大或裂纹较深时加固效应愈加显著;CFRP 加固裂纹木梁临界载荷随CFRP 布加固层含量的增加而增加,但当CFRP 布含量达到一定值后,进一步增加CFRP 含量对CFRP加固裂纹梁临界载荷提高并不明显. 相似文献

利用平面扇形域哈密顿体系的方程,通过分离变量法及共轭辛本征函数向量展开法,以解析的方法推导出基于Dugdale模型的平面裂纹弹塑性解析元列式。将该解析元与有限元相结合,构成半解析的有限元法,可求解任意几何形状和荷载平板裂纹的Dugdale模型问题。数值计算结果表明本文方法对该类问题的求解是十分有效的,并有较高的精度。 相似文献

A mathematical model is proposed to describe the static deformation of a unidirectional fiber-reinforced composite under plane-strain conditions in a plane perpendicular to the fiber direction. The model is based on the stochastic static equations for an elastic homogeneous two-component medium with nonzero body forces. Applying the method of conditional moments and double Fourier transform yields a nonlocal model in the form of integro-differential equations. Expanding the integral kernels into series in expansion coefficients yields differential equations whose order depends on the number of terms in the series. The zero-order approximation leads to the theory of effective moduli, the first-order approximation to the refined theory of effective moduli, and the second-order approximation to fourth-order equilibrium equations for mean displacements (mathematical expectations) and formulas for displacements, strains, and stresses averaged over the composite and its components. All the coefficients in theses formulas are expressed in terms of the elastic constants of the components and the geometric parameters of the structure. The model is valid for heavy stress gradients. 目前先进航空发动机的风扇叶片均采用复合材料结构,为了研究其在工作过程中可能受到的冲击损伤,即碳纤维增强树脂基复合材料受到高速冲击后的损伤与破坏过程,对其准静态下的正交各向异性本构模型和失效准则进行修正,建立了应变率相关的三维动态本构及损伤模型.该模型考虑了材料模量、强度和断裂韧性与应变率的相关性,并采用基于断裂韧性的渐进损伤模式对刚度进行折减来控制破坏过程.开展了不同应变率下的动态试验,得到基体方向拉伸与剪切的动态响应数据,拟合得到相应的动态修正因子.将该模型结合修正因子植入数值软件进行仿真计算,分析结果表明,所建立的率相关本构及损伤模型能够更准确地模拟层合板受冲击过程的损伤和破坏,与试验吻合较好. 相似文献

混凝土断裂过程区视为具有粘聚阻力作用的虚拟裂纹,其非线性断裂和尺寸效应特性是与该虚拟裂纹粘聚力分布规律密切相关的。通过得到的粘聚应力分布函数解析结果,对该粘聚力分布特征的分析得知,在基于断裂过程区之外用线弹性场的力学模型上,该粘聚力随距离虚拟裂纹尖点的靠近,仍具有平方根奇异性。从而本文提出一个能够反映裂纹发展状态的粘聚应力奇异性强度参数,它是无粘聚力的线弹性裂纹应力强度因子和表征裂纹张开位移分布多项式参数的函数;因此,该参数可以作为混凝土非线性断裂的一个参量。文中就已有断裂试验测试结果进行了算例分析和相应的讨论。 相似文献

Summary Experimental, theoretical and numerical investigations show that crack kinking and crack branching can be observed and simulated
in brittle solids and in the fast dynamical propagation of quasi-brittle fractures. The present study shows that kinking and
branching may also occur in the quasi-static regime when an isotrophic or equi-biaxial tensile state of stress arises at the
tip of a cohesive crack, and may represent alternative itineraries (i.e. path bifurcation) of the fracture process. Specific
reference is made to the common but meaningful case of the three-point-bending test. Various numerical techniques apt to capture
the above occurrence are comparatively presented, and the influence of path bifurcation on the overall behaviour of the specimen
is discussed.

Delayed fracture of a laminated composite under tensile loads applied at infinity is studied. The composite consists of alternating elastic and aging viscoelastic layers and contains an internal penny-shaped mode I macrocrack located in parallel to the layers. A modified Leonov–Panasyuk–Dugdale crack model and the critical crack-tip opening criterion constitute a fracture model. 基于均匀场理论和细观力学方法提出了弹簧串并联模型和电容串并联模型来分别描述1-3型压电纤维复合材料的力学性能和电学性能,并采用此模型对压电复合材料的宏观力学和电学性能参数进行了预报。在沿着纤维方向,采用并联模型来描述1-3型压电纤维复合材料的力学和电学特性,因为在这个方向上压电纤维和基体连续并联分布;在垂直纤维方向,模型既含有串联部分又含有并联部分,从而对整体而言形成了混合串并联模型。算例结果相互比较表明该模型对1-3型压电纤维复合材料有准确的描述。 相似文献
