We give a rigorous proof of the equivalence of Ma's supercritical potential and the minimal action with respect to an associated Jacobi-Finsler metric. As a consequence, we give an explicit representation of the weak KAM solutions of one-dimensional mechanical systems without the quadratic assumption on the kinetic energy term of the Hamiltonians, and a criterion of the integrability result for such a system of arbitrary degree of freedom by the regularity assumption on Mather's α-function is discussed.  相似文献

Laszlo and Olsson constructed Grothendieck’s six operations for constructible complexes on Artin stacks inétale cohomology under an assumption of finite cohomological dimension,with base change established on the level of sheaves.We give a more direct construction of the six operations for complexes on DeligneMumford stacks without the finiteness assumption and establish base change theorems in derived categories.One key tool in our construction is the theory of gluing finitely many pseudofunctors developed by Zheng(2014).As an application,we prove a Lefschetz-Verdier formula for Deligne-Mumford stacks.We include both torsion and L-adic coefficients.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the crossing numbers of two one-vertex maps on orientable surfaces. By using a reductive method, we give the crossing number of two one-vertex maps with one face on an orientable surface and the crossing number of a one-vertex map with one face and a one-vertex map with two faces on an orientable surface. This provides a lower bound for the crossing number of two general maps on an orientable surface.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to give an anisotropic posteriori error estimator. We firstly study the convergence of bilinear finite element for the second order problem under anisotropic meshes.By using some novel approaches and techniques,the optimal error estimates and some superconvergence results are obtained without the regularity assumption and quasi-uniform assumption requirements on the meshes.Then,based on these results, we give an anisotropic posteriori error estimate for the second problem.  相似文献

Most papers concerning nonlinear programming problems with linear constraints assume linearindependence of the gradients of the active constraints at any feasible point.In this paper we removethis assumption and give an algorithm and prove its convergency.Also,under appropriate assump-tions on the objective function,including one which could be viewed as an extension of the strictcomplementary slackness condition at the optimal solution,we prove the rate of convergence of thealgorithm to be superlinear.  相似文献

In this paper, we derive evolution equation of the integral of the Gauss curvature on an evolving hypersurface. As an application, we obtain a monotone quantity on the level surface of the potential function on a 3-dimensional steady gradient Ricci soliton with positive sectional curvature, and prove that such a soliton is rotationally symmetric outside of a compact set under a curvature decaying assumption. Along the way we will also apply our evolution equation to some other cases.  相似文献

Under the assumption that' is a strongly convex weakly Khler Finsler metric on a complex manifold M, we prove that F is a weakly complex Berwald metric if and only if F is a real Landsberg metric.This result together with Zhong(2011) implies that among the strongly convex weakly Kahler Finsler metrics there does not exist unicorn metric in the sense of Bao(2007). We also give an explicit example of strongly convex Kahler Finsler metric which is simultaneously a complex Berwald metric, a complex Landsberg metric,a real Berwald metric, and a real Landsberg metric.  相似文献

In this survey paper, we give an overview of our recent works on the study of the W-entropy for the heat equation associated with the Witten Laplacian on super-Ricci flows and the Langevin deformation on the Wasserstein space over Riemannian manifolds. Inspired by Perelman's seminal work on the entropy formula for the Ricci flow, we prove the W-entropy formula for the heat equation associated with the Witten Laplacian on n-dimensional complete Riemannian manifolds with the CD(K, m)-condition, and the W-entropy formula for the heat equation associated with the time-dependent Witten Laplacian on n-dimensional compact manifolds equipped with a(K, m)-super Ricci flow, where K ∈ R and m ∈ [n, ∞]. Furthermore, we prove an analogue of the W-entropy formula for the geodesic flow on the Wasserstein space over Riemannian manifolds.Our result improves an important result due to Lott and Villani(2009) on the displacement convexity of the Boltzmann-Shannon entropy on Riemannian manifolds with non-negative Ricci curvature. To better understand the similarity between above two W-entropy formulas, we introduce the Langevin deformation of geometric flows on the tangent bundle over the Wasserstein space and prove an extension of the W-entropy formula for the Langevin deformation. We also make a discussion on the W-entropy for the Ricci flow from the point of view of statistical mechanics and probability theory. Finally, to make this survey more helpful for the further development of the study of the W-entropy, we give a list of problems and comments on possible progresses for future study on the topic discussed in this survey.  相似文献

In this paper we mainly study the ruin probability of a surplus process described by a piecewise deterministic Markov process (PDMP). An integro-differential equation for the ruin probability is derived. Under a certain assumption, it can be transformed into the ruin probability of a risk process whose premiums depend on the current reserves. Using the same argument as that in Asmussen and Nielsen, the ruin probability and its upper bounds are obtained. Finally, we give an analytic expression for ruin probability and its upper bounds when the claim-size is exponentially distributed.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the equations for light-like extremal surfaces in Minkowski space R^1+(1+n). We show that the light-like assumption is compatible with the Cauchy problem and give a necessary and sufficient condition on the global existence of classical solutions of the Cauchy problem. Based on this, we obtain entire light-like extremal surfaces by solving the Cauchy problem explicitly when such necessary and sufficient condition holds. We consider the inverse problem of finding cavities within some object from electrostatic measurements on the boundary. By a cavity we understand any object with a different electrical conductivity from the background material of the body. We give an algorithm for solving this inverse problem based on the output nonlinear least-square formulation and the regularized Newton-type iteration. In particular, we present a number of numerical results to highlight the potential and the limitations of this method.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to study the error estimates of a nonconforming finite element with some superconvergence results under anisotropic meshes. The anisotropic interpolation error and consistency error estimates are obtained by using some novel approaches and techniques, respectively. Furthermore, the superclose and a superconvergence estimate on the central points of elements are also obtained without the regularity assumption and quasi-uniform assumption requirement on the meshes. Finally, a numerical test is carried out, which coincides with our theoretical analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, we study dynamically consistent nonlinear evaluations in Lp(1p2). One of our aim is to obtain the following result: under a domination condition, an Ft-consistent evaluation is an Eg-evaluation in Lp . Furthermore, without the assumption that the generating function g(t, ω, y, z) is continuous with respect to t, we provide some useful characterizations of an Eg-evaluation by g and give some applications. We study some monotonicity and iteration inequality of the Maslov-type index i-1of linear Hamiltonian systems.As an application we prove the existence of symmetric periodic solutions with prescribed minimal period for first order nonlinear autonomous Hamiltonian systems which are semipositive,even,and superquadratic at zero and infinity.This result gives a positive answer to Rabinowitz’s minimal period conjecture in this case without strictly convex assumption.We also give a different proof of the existence of symmetric periodic solutions with prescribed minimal period for classical Hamiltonian systems which are semipositive,even,and superquadratic at zero and infinity which was proved by Fei,Kim and Wang in 2001.  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the construction of the inverse transgression map done by Adem, A., Ruan, Y. and Zhang, B. in [A stringy product on twisted orbifold K-theory.
