The nucleon electromagnetic form factorsG E P (q2),G M P (q2) and the axial-vector form factor GA(q2) are studied in a relativistic model of independent quarks confined by an equally mixed scalar-vector square root potentialV q(r)=1/2(1+γ 0)(ar 1/2+ν 0) taking into account the appropriate centre-of-mass corrections. The respective root-mean-square radii associated withG E P (q2) and G A (q2) come out as [〈r 2E P ]1/2=0.86 fm and 〈r A 21/2=0.88 fm. Restoration of chiral symmetry in this model is discussed to derive the pion-nucleon form factorG πNN(q2) and consequently the pion-nucleon coupling constant is obtained asg πNN(q2)=12.81 as compared tog πNN(q2)exp⋍13.  相似文献

The straightline string model of mesons with massless fermions (“quarks”) at the string endpoints is constructed. The spectrum of the model, consisting of four Regge trajectories weakly non-linear atM 2~0, is obtained. A comparison of the model predictions with the experimental spectrum of light mesons and prospects for future searches are discussed.  相似文献

A relativistic model of independent quarks based on Dirac equation with an equally mixed scalar-vector square root confining potential is used to compute the quark core contributions to the static properties like magnetic moments, charge radii and axial vector coupling constant ratios of the baryon octet. The results obtained with appropriate corrections due to centre-of-mass motion agree fairly well with experimental values. The model is also extended to the study of magnetic moments of the quark core of baryons in the charmed andb-flavoured sectors and the overall predictions so obtained compare well with other model predictions.  相似文献

The width of ψ(4.414) is surprisingly small for a cc state far above the charm threshold, Γexp ≈ 33 MeV. This fact can be qualitatively understood if one makes the conservative assignment 4 3S1. The nodes of the wave function reflect as zero's of the decay amplitude in the momentum of the decay products, and are responsible for the suppression of the couplings to the ground state charmed mesons, Γ(ψ(4.414)→DD+ DD1 + DD1 + D1D1 + FF + FF1 + FF1 + F1F1) ≈ 15 MeV. All the modes are suppressed by factors of the order of 103 with respect to the k3 spin counting prediction. The dominant modes are predicted to be D1D1, FF1 + FF1 and DD. Moreover, we show that the contributions from P-wave charmed mesons are reasonably expected to be suppressed either by phase space or by the nodes if their masses lie within certain range. We emphasize however that the smallness of the photon coupling remains to be understood.  相似文献

In the framework of the six-quark model, based on the gauge group SU(2)L × U(1) we have obtained expressions for the amplitudes of K0 ? K0, D0 ? D0, B0 ? B BS0?BS0, T0?T0andTc0?TC0 transitions at final 4-momenta of external lines Feynman box diagrams. We have estimated the correctness of using the approximation of extremely small 4-,omenta of valence quarks, composing K0-like mesons. The constraints for the parameters of the unitary matrix of weak charged currents have been found at arbitrary value of the t-quark mass. Estimates of numerical values for the mixing parameters and for the parameters of CP violation for neutral systems similar to K0?K0 are given.  相似文献

On the basis of an investigation into the asymptotic behavior of the correlation functions of the corresponding field currents with the necessary quantum numbers, an analytic method for determining the mass spectrum and decay constants of mesons consisting of c and b quarks with relativistic corrections is proposed. The dependence of the constituent mass of quarks on the current mass and on the orbital and radial quantum numbers is analytically derived. The mass and the wave function (WF) mesons are determined from the Schrodinger equation with a mass of constituent components particles. We calculate the splitting of the mass spectrum for the singlet and triplet states mesons, as well as to determine the width of the lepton and radiation decays due E1 transition for $\left( {\bar cc} \right)$ , $\left( {\bar bb} \right)$ , $\left( {\bar bc} \right)$ systems. Our results for the mass spectrum of mesons consisting of c and b quarks are in satisfactory agreement with the available experimental data.  相似文献
