Summary Synthesis and X-ray structure analysis of N-acetyl-,-diethylglycine-N-methylamide [CH3-Co-NH-C(C2H5)2-CO-NHCH3] are described. The compound was obtained from the corresponding N-acetyl derivative [CH3-CO-NH-C(C2H5)2-COOH] through the mixed anhydride procedure. It crystallizes as monohydrate (C9H18N2O2·H2O) in space group P21/c,a=7.139(1),b=11.823(2),c=15.778(3) Å, =122.23(1)°,V=1126.53 Å3,D m=1.20 Mgm–3 (room temperature),R=0.046 for 1523 reflections. The crystal packing is dominated by two strong hydrogen bonds between the water molecule and two carbonyl oxygen atoms and two weak H-bonds to two amide-N-atoms of symmetry-equivalent molecules. The molecular conformation is closer to a 310-helix then ana-helix.

Zusammenfassung Es wird über Synthese und die röntgenographische Strukturbestimmung von N-Acetyl-,-diethylglycin-N-methyl-amid [CH3-CO-NH-C(C2H5)2-CO-NH-CH3] berichtet. Die Verbindung wurde unter Anwendung der Methode der gemischten Anhydride aus dem entsprechenden N-Acetylderivat [CH3-CO-NH-C(C2H5)2-COOH] erhalten. Sie kristallisiert als Monohydrat (C9H18N2O2·H2O) in der Raumgruppe P21/c mita=7.139(1),b=11.823(2),c=15.778(3) Å, =122.23(1)°,V=1126.53 Å3,D m=1.20 Mgm–3,D x=1.204 Mgm–3 (Raumtemperatur).R=0.046 für 1523 Reflexe. Die Kristallpackung ist dominiert durch zwei starke H-Brücken vom Wassermolekül zu zwei Carbonylsauerstoffatomen sowie zwei schwachen H-Brücken zu zwei Amid-N-atomen symmetrieequivalenter Moleküle. Die Konformation des Peptidgerüstes ist näher einer 310 als einera-Helix.

The i.r. and Raman spectra of N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine and the perchlorate salt of its radical cation have been recorded. The frequencies of the fundamental vibrations of the neutral molecule and the radical ion have been computed using force constants transferred from smaller molecules. The observed spectral bands have been assigned and the ionization band shifts have been discussed. Most of the significant band shifts have been observed in the 1700-1300 cm−1 range. The calculations showed that they are primarily due to the variation of the bond strengths of the ring CC and ring-N bonds.  相似文献

The attack by formic acid on the nitrogen electron pairs of N,N,N,N-tetramethylethylenediamine leads to the stoichiometric salt or to many other complexes with different molar fractions. Physical and thermodynamic parameters of two adducts, obtained by calorimetric study, are discussed in terms of their use as potential phase change materials in thermal energy storage because of their large heat of fusion between 288 and 333 K.
Zusammenfassung Bei der Einwirkung von Ameisensäure auf die Elektronenpaare von N,N,N,N-Tetramethylethylendiamin entsteht ein stöchiometrisches Salz oder mehrere andere Komplexe mit unterschiedlichem Molenbruch. Es werden physikalische und thermodynamische Parameter zweier bei der kalorimetrischen Untersuchung erhaltenen Addukte hinsichtlich ihrer Verwendung als potentielle Phasenwechselsubstanzen bei der thermischen Energiespeicherung diskutiert, da sie im Bereich 288–333 K eine große Schmelz-wärme besitzen.

Distribution constants and standard enthalpies of transfer of ethylenediamine (en), N,N-dimethylaminoethylamine (dmen) and N,N,N,N-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmen) partitioned between n-heptane and water containing reversed sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) micelles as a function of the molar concentration ratio R (R=[water]/[AOT]) were evaluated by a calorimetric method. The results show that en, dmen and tmen molecules, solubilized in the reversed micelles, are distributed between the micellar aqueous core and the micellar palisade layer. An analysis of the thermodynamic parameters of the partition process demonstrates the peculiar solvent properties of the water containing reversed AOT micelles.  相似文献

In this paper, nine N,N,N,N-tetraalkyldiamides have been synthesized and the extracting ability for uranium and thorium under different conditions has been studied. All results were compared with those obtained by using tributyl phosphate (TBP) under exactly the same conditions. Summary N,N,N,N-Tetramethylisophthalthioamide (Hmpt) was cyclopalladated with PdCl2 in hot dimethylsulphoxide to give [PdCl(mpt)]. The structure was determined by X-ray analysis. The thioamide is metallated at C(2) to act as an S528-01C528-02S tridentate anionic ligand. There is appreciable steric repulsion between the benzene ring H(4, 6) and the dimethylamino groups. The hydrogens and the methyl groups mutually deviate from the coordination plane in opposite directions. The stability of the fused 5,5-membered chelate ring formed by the S528-03C528-04S ligand seems to overcome the steric hindrance. Derivatives were prepared by replacement of the chloride ion with iodide, diethyldithiocarbamate, 4-tert-butylpyridine, or tri-n-butylphosphine, and characterized spectroscopically. The S528-05C528-06S-fused chelate ring was maintained in these derivatives.  相似文献

The hole and electron mobilities of the amorphous films of the organic semiconductor 4,4′-N,N′-dicarbazole-biphenyl (CBP) at different electric fields were measured through the time of flight (TOF) method. Based on its crystalline structure, the hole and electron mobilities of CBP were calculated. A detailed comparison between experimental and theoretical results is necessary for further understanding its charge transport properties. In order to do this, charge mobilities at zero electric field, μ(0), were deduced from experimental data as a link between experimental and theoretical data. It was found that the electron transport of CBP is less affected by traps compared with its hole transport. This unusual phenomenon can be understood through the distributions of frontier molecular orbitals. We showed that designing materials with frontier molecular orbitals localized at the center of the molecule has the potency to reduce the influence of traps on charge transport and provide new insights into designing high mobility charge transport materials.  相似文献

The stepwise dissociation constants of tetramethylenediamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid (H4L) are determined by means of potentiometry at 298.15 K and ionic strength values of 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 (KNO3). The heat effects of the dissociation of the betaine groups of the complexone are measured by direct calorimetry. The standard thermodynamic characteristics of the protolytic equilibria of H4L are calculated via combined use of the results from thermochemical and potentiometric studies performed under identical experimental conditions. Our results are compared with the corresponding data on relative compounds.  相似文献

The standard ( po =  0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of combustion in oxygen, at T =  298.15 K, were measured by rotative bomb calorimetry for crystalline N, N -diethyl- N-furoylthiourea, (2-C4H3O)CONHCSN(C2H5)2, HFET, and N, N -diisobutyl- N-furoylthiourea, (2-C4H3O)CONHCSN(iso-C4H9)2, HFIB. The standard molar enthalpies of sublimation of both HFET and HFIB were measured by high-temperature Calvet microcalorimetry. These values were used to derive the standard molar enthalpies of formation of the compounds, in their crystalline and gaseous phases.  相似文献

The influence of 1,2-dipiperidinoethane (DPE) and tetraethylethylenediamine (TEEDA) on the butadienyl- and pentadienyllithium active centres has been examined by NMR and electronic spectroscopy. The effect of DPE on the butadienyllithium species differs from that of TEEDA in that the magnitudes of the 1H shifts are considerably smaller at any given [base]:[lithium] ratio. The trans conformation was found to be the preferred structure of the active centres in the presence of diamines. The electronic spectra of these dienyllithium active centres in the presence of these bases exhibited new peaks with γmax at 323–325 nm where the maximum influence of either base was seen at [base]:[lithium] ratios of ca two.  相似文献

The hydrolysis mechanisms of N,N-dimethyl-N′-(2′,3′-dideoxy-3′-thiacytidine)formamidine (FA-3TC) in the gas phase and in aqueous solution were studied by use of the density functional theory B3LYP/6-31 G(d, p) method. Two possible reaction pathways in the title reaction were considered. In one pathway water attacks the C=N double bond first (path A) while in the other water attacks the C—N single bond first (path B). The calculated results indicate that the first step in both pathways is the rate-limiting process and path A is more favorable than path B in the gas phase. The effect of solvent water on the title reaction was assessed at the B3LYP/6-31 G(d, p) level of theory based on the po-larizable continuum model (CPCM). In water the first mechanism (path A) is also favored.  相似文献

The step dissociation constants of ethylenediamine-N,N′-diacetic-N,N′-dipropionic and ethylenediamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetrapropionic acids at 298.15 K and ionic strengths of 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 (KNO3) were determined potentiometrically. The results were extrapolated to zero ionic strength by the equation with one individual parameter. The thermodynamic constants of dissociation were calculated. The dependence of N–H stretching-mode frequencies in representative di- and trialkyl ureas on the conformational state of the ureido group has been studied by ab initio MO calculations using HF/3-21G and HF/6-31G** basis sets. The molecules studied were 1,3-dimethylurea, 1-methyl-3,3-dimethylurea and 1-methyl-3,3-di-iso-propylurea. The principal conclusions from the ab initio results are:
  • 1.the transtrans conformer (N–H bonds trans to the CO bond) has N–H stretching bands with about 20–30 cm−1 higher frequency than the respective ciscis structure, in accord with earlier literature assignments based on experimental data;
  • 2.the N–H stretching frequency interval in tri-substituted ureas is 15–20 cm−1 higher than the N–H band position in the 1,3-disubstituted molecule studied, the effect being determined mostly by the higher N–H stretching force constant;
  • 3.in the absence of the steric hindrance the stable rotameric forms of the ureido grouping are almost planar at HF/3-21G level of calculations, while HF/6-31G** calculations predict a slightly pyramidal structure at the nitrogen atoms in the transtrans conformer;
  • 4.in 1-methyl-3,3-di-iso-propylurea the steric influence of the two bulky iso-propyl groups cause a deviation from planarity of the N–H bond. The non-planar conformation is accompanied by a shift of the N–H stretching mode frequency towards higher values; and
  • 5.the variations of the theoretically estimated N–H stretching-mode frequencies appear to be principally determined by changes in the N–H stretching force constants in the different molecules.

Properties of hydrazides of 4-tert-butylbenzoic acid, important for their application in extraction technology, have been studied: solubility, acid-base properties, distribution between immiscible liquids, and hydrolytic stability. pH ranges of existence of different forms of the compounds have been determined. The N′,N′-dialkyl derivatives with alkyl chains longer than C6 are readily soluble in nonpolar solvents, are not transferred into aqueous phase, and are stable with respect to hydrolysis in acidic and basic media. Linear correlations of the studied physicochemical parameters with the compounds structure and the medium properties have been elucidated.  相似文献
