Pentaphenylferrocenyl di-tert-butylphosphine has been prepared in high yield from a two-step synthetic procedure, and the scope of various cross-coupling processes catalyzed by complexes bearing this ligand has been investigated. This ligand creates a remarkably general palladium catalyst for aryl halide amination and for Suzuki coupling. Turnovers of roughly 1000 were observed for aminations with unactivated aryl bromides or chlorides. In addition, complexes of this ligand catalyzed the formation of selected aryl ethers under mild conditions. The reactions encompassed electron-rich and electron-poor aryl bromides and chlorides. In the presence of catalysts containing this ligand, these aryl halides coupled with acyclic or cyclic secondary alkyl- and arylamines, with primary alkyl- and arylamines, and with aryl- and primary alkylboronic acids. These last couplings provide the first general procedure for reaction of terminal alkylboronic acids with aryl halides without toxic or expensive bases. The ligand not only generates highly active palladium catalysts, but it is air stable in solution and in the solid state. Palladium(0) complexes of this ligand are also air stable as a solid and react only slowly with oxygen in solution.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The ligandless palladium-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of potassium aryl- and heteroaryltrifluoroborates with aryl- or heteroaryl halides or triflates proceeds readily with very good yields. The cross coupling can be effected in methanol or water, in the open air, using Pd(OAc)(2) as a catalyst in the presence of K(2)CO(3). A variety of functional groups are tolerated.  相似文献

Allyl or benzyl halides, through a Pd(0)-catalyzed reaction and under CO pressure, generate acyl-palladium/halides that, in the presence of a base and an aryl- and alkyl-acetylene, undergo nucleophilic acyl substitution giving conjugated acetylenic ketones. Diynes, resulting from alkyne/alkyne homo-coupling, were instead the main products in reactions performed without allyl or benzyl halides. Moreover, dimerization, trimerization, and cyclotrimerization reactions of acetylenes were observed in reaction carried out even without base.  相似文献

Oxime-derived chloro-bridged palladacycles 12 and 13 are efficient complexes for the Suzuki-Miyaura reactions of aryl-, allyl-, and benzyl halides with arylboronic acids. The isolated catalysts are thermally stable, not sensitive to air or moisture, and easily accessible from inexpensive starting materials. The reaction can be performed under aerobic conditions with aryl bromides and chlorides, displaying turnover numbers (TON) of up to 5 x 10(5) and turnover frequencies (TOF) of up to 198 000 h(-1) for aryl bromides. Aryl chlorides undergo the Suzuki reaction with arylboronic acids with TON of up to 4700 and TOF up to 4700 h(-1). Even inexpensive and readily available benzyl and allyl chlorides undergo the coupling reaction with good turnover numbers. Complexes of 12 catalyze the syntheses of symmetrical biaryls in good yields via reductive coupling of iodoarenes in the presence of Hünig's base.  相似文献

Metal-catalyzed borylation of alkenes, alkynes, arenes, and organic halides with B-B or H-B compounds has been developed for the synthesis of organoboron compounds from simple organic substrates. The platinum(0)-catalyzed addition of bis(pinacolato)diboron to alkenes and alkynes provided a method for the stereoselective synthesis of cis-bis(boryl)alkanes or cis-bis(boryl)alkenes. The addition of diboron to 1,3-dienes with platinum(0) complexes provided a new access to cis-1,4-bis(boryl)-2-butene derivatives, which are versatile reagents for diastereoselective allylboration of carbonyl compounds. The first one-step procedure for the syntheses of aryl-, vinyl-, and allylboronates was achieved via crosscoupling reactions of diborons with aryl and 1-alkenyl halides or triflates and allyl acetates. Direct C-H borylation of arenes catalyzed by a transition metal complex was studied as an economical protocol for the synthesis of a variety of arylboron derivatives. Ir-catalyzed C-H borylation of arenes, heteroarenes, and benzylic positions of alkylarenes by bis(pinacolato)diboron or pinacolborane furnished aryl-, heteroaryl-, and benzylboron compounds. This article discusses the mechanisms of these reactions and their synthetic applications.  相似文献

Treatment of organoboronic acids with hydrofluoric acid generates an in situ tetracoordinate hydronium organotrifluoroborate species which undergoes counterion exchange with tetra-n-butylammonium hydroxide. The resultant tetraalkylammonium salts are as air and moisture stable as their potassium organotrifluoroborate counterparts with the added advantage of being readily soluble in organic media. They were found to undergo Pd-catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura cross-couplings with a variety of aryl- and alkenylhalides under mild conditions. Their Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling with acid halides is also possible for the generation of ketones.  相似文献

Allylic alcohols can be used directly for the palladium(0)-catalyzed allylation of aryl- and alkenylboronic acids with a wide variety of functional groups. A triphenylphosphine-ligated palladium catalyst turns out to be most effective for the cross-coupling reaction and its low loading (less than 1 mol%) leads to formation of the coupling product in high yield. The Lewis acidity of the organoboron reagents and poor leaving ability (high basicity) of the hydroxyl group are essential for the cross-coupling reaction. The reaction process is atom-economical and environmentally benign, because it needs neither preparation of allyl halides and esters nor addition of stoichiometric amounts of a base. Furthermore, allylic alcohols containing another unsaturated carbon-carbon bond undergo arylative cyclization reactions leading to cyclopentane formation.  相似文献

A general method for the synthesis of functionalized pyridazinylboronic acids/esters is described involving a directed ortho metalation (DoM)--boronation protocol (Schemes 1 and 2). A comprehensive study of the reactivity of the C-B bond in palladium-catalyzed cross-couplings with aryl/heteroaryl halides is presented. Aryl-/heteroarylpyridazines are thereby obtained in synthetically viable yields (typically 40-75%) although in some cases competing protodeboronation has been observed. A series of pyridazin-3(2H)-one derivatives, including 4,6-diaryl/heteroaryl derivatives, have been obtained from the corresponding 3-methoxypyridazines in straightforward procedures (Schemes 3 and 4). Several X-ray crystal structures of aryl-/heteroarylpyridazines and derived pyridazin-3(2H)-one derivatives are reported. These multi-ring systems are of considerable interest in contemporary N-heterocyclic chemistry.  相似文献

Potassium hydroxyaryl- and (hydroxyalkyl)aryltrifluoroborates have been prepared in a simple one-pot process from the corresponding hydroxy-substituted aryl halides in 51-98% yields through an in situ protection of the free hydroxyl group with t-BuLi. Also, we successfully performed a microwave-promoted Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction of these substrates with aryl- and alkenyl bromides in the presence of 0.5 mol % of Pd(OAc)2 catalyst without ligands.  相似文献

This article describes the methodology for a copper-catalyzed preparation of numerous monochalcogenides from dichalcogenides with organoboronic acids. Unsymmetrical diorgano-monosulfides, selenides, and tellurides can be synthesized by the coupling of dichalcogenides with aryl- or alkylboronic acids using a copper catalyst in air. An efficient Pd(0)-catalyzed Buchwald-Hartwig protocol for the facile preparation of N-aryl and N-heteroaryl substituted homopiperazines is described. The syntheses proceeded with aryl- and heteroaryl halides in high yields using X-Phos as best ligand. Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions of aryl and heteroaryl halides with aryl-, heteroaryl- and vinylboronic acids proceed in very good to excellent yield with the use of 2-(2',6'-dimethoxybiphenyl)dicyclohexylphosphine, SPhos (1). This ligand confers unprecedented activity for these processes, allowing reactions to be performed at low catalyst levels, to prepare extremely hindered biaryls and to be carried out, in general, for reactions of aryl chlorides at room temperature. Additionally, structural studies of various 1.Pd complexes are presented along with computational data that help elucidate the efficacy that 1 imparts on Suzuki-Miyaura coupling processes. Moreover, a comparison of the reactions with 1 and with 2-(2',4',6'-triisopropylbiphenyl)diphenylphosphine (2) is presented that is informative in determining the relative importance of ligand bulk and electron-donating ability in the high activity of catalysts derived from ligands of this type. Further, when the aryl bromide becomes too hindered, an interesting C-H bond functionalization-cross-coupling sequence intervenes to provide product in high yield.  相似文献

A novel, efficient, metal-, base- and acid-free straightforward protocol has been developed for the construction of useful thioesters. The immense catalytic potential of HFIP for promoting the thiocarbonylation of acyl halides and thiols is disclosed. HFIP was recovered with ease and reused for further reactions without any loss of reactivity. Both aryl and alkyl thiols bearing electron-donating and electron-withdrawing groups as well as aryl- and alkyl acyl halides worked well in this reaction. Inexpensive precursors, short reaction time, obviating workup, high atom economy, and gram-scale preparation are the significant features of the developed eco-friendly route for S-carbonylation of thiols.  相似文献

The substrate-controlled RhI-catalyzed conjugate addition of aryl- and alkenylboronic acids to alpha,beta-unsaturated esters which bear gamma- and delta-oxygen substituents takes place in a highly anti diastereoselective fashion either when using gamma-hydroxyl unprotected starting materials or when the gamma-oxygen substituent is protected with a nonbulky group. The delta-oxygen substituent plays a role in the stereoselectivity of the reaction, and better results are obtained when this OH-group is protected.  相似文献
