The possibility of the experiment for constraining the symmetry energy Esym(ρ) at supra-densities via π-/π+ probe on the external target experiment of phase I ( ETE(I) ) with part coverage at forward angle at HIRFL-CSR is studied for the first time by using the isospin and momentum dependent hadronic transport model IBUU04. Based on the transport simulation with Au+Au collisions at 400 MeV/u, it is found that the differential π-/π+ ratios are more sensitive to Esym(ρ) at forward angles in laboratory reference, compared with the total yield ratio widely proposed. The insufficient coverage at lower transverse momentum maintains the sensitivity of the dependence of π-/π+ ratio on the Esym(ρ) at high density, indicating that the ETF (I) under construction in Lanzhou provides the possibility of performing the experiment for probing the asymmetric nuclear equation of state.  相似文献

Using the isospin- and momentum-dependent hadronic transport model IBUU04, the effects of symmetry energy on the π^-/π^+ ratio are studied. Our investigations are based on the calculations of the ^132 Sn+^124Sn semi-central collisions at beam energies of 400/AMeV, 600/A MeV and 800/A MeV. It is found that both the transverse momentum and kinetic energy distributions of the π^-/π^+ ratio are rather sensitive to the symmetry energy, especially around the Coulomb peaks. The position of the Coulomb peak is shown to be nearly independent of beam energy. The sensitivity of the π^-/π^+ ratio to the symmetry energy decreases as the beam energy increases from 600/A MeV to 800/A MeV.  相似文献

The transverse momentum spectra for identified hadrons at different rapidities in central Au+Au collisions at √^SNN= 200 GeV are studied in a quark combination model. The results for PT spectra of π^±, K^±, p(p^-) and for the p/π ratios in a broader PT range at midrapidity agree well with the data. The transverse momentum spectra of pions, protons and antiprotons at various rapidities y - 1, η= 2.2 and y ≈ 3.2 are calculated and compared with the data.  相似文献

In an experiment with the Spherical Neutral Detector at VEPP-2M collider the cross section of the process e^+e^- →π^+π^-π^0π^0 was measured. At energies √s 〈 920 MeV this cross section was measured for the first time. The energy dependence of the cross section is well discribed by the vector dominance model with contributions from p, p', p" mesons. The decay probability ρ→π^+π^-π^0π^0 was found to be Bρ = (1.60±0.74±0.18) × 10^-5. The upper limit for the decay ω→π^+π^-π^0π^0 was improved by two orders of magnitude compared to the previous measurements and is Bω 〈 2 × 10^-4 at 90% confidence level.  相似文献

The formalisms of helicity coupling amplitudes for J/ψ→π^+π^-π^0 are presented. A detailed discussion is also given on the barrier factor, Breit Wigner, and density matrix. A Monte Carlo simulation of J/ψ→ρ(770)π→π^+π^-π^0 is carried out. The results show that the p(770) resonance is well reproduced compared with experimental data.  相似文献

We present a systematic analysis of two-pion interferometry for the central Au+Au collisions at √SNN=3, 5, 7, 11, 17, 27, 39, 62, 130 and 200 GeV/c with the help of a multiphase transport (AMPT) model. Emission source-size radius parameters Rlong, Rout, Rside and the chaotic parameter A are extracted and compared with the experimental data. Transverse momentum and azimuthal angle dependencies of the HBT radii are also discussed for central Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV/c. The results show that the HBT radii in central collisions do not change much above 7 GeV/c. For central collisions at 200 GeV/c, the radii decrease with the increasing of transverse momentum PT but are not sensitive to the azimuthal angle. These results provide a theoretical reference for the energy scan program of the RHIC-STAR experiment.  相似文献

Within the framework of the improved isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics (ImIQMD) model, pion emission in heavy-ion collisions in the region 1 A GeV is investigated systematically, in which the pion is considered to be mainly produced by the decay of resonances △(1232) and N^*(1440). The in-medium dependence and Coulomb effects of pion production are included in the calculation. Total pion multiplicity and π^-/π^+ yields are calculated for the reaction ^197Au+^197Au in central collisions for selected Skyrme parameters SkP, SLy6, Ska, SⅢ and compared with the measured data of the FOPI collaboration.  相似文献

Based on the IBUU transport model,the effect of proton transition momentum on collective flows is studied in ~(40)Ca+~(40)Ca,~(112)Sn+~(112)Sn,and ~(197)Au+~(197)Au collisions at an incident beam energy of 400 MeV/A with impact parameter b=6 fm.It is found that in a neutron rich system,the difference between neutron and proton elliptic flow is largely affected by the proton transition momentum.At beam energies around(and particularly below) the pion production threshold,the π~-/π~+ ratio is greatly sensitive to proton transition momentum in asymmetric nuclear matter.This study may help us to understand the nucleon momentum distribution in nuclei,which is important for the equation of state of asymmetric nuclear matter,such as neutron stars.  相似文献

An analysis of the helicity amplitude is performed on the process e^+e^- ψ(2S) → γχcJ→γ∧∧^-→γpπ^-p^-π^+. The joint angular distributions for each decay chain are given, and we focus on discussing the E1 contributions to ψ(2S) radiative decays, and the violation of the helicity selection rule in χcJ decays into hyperon pairs, together with the possibility of observing parity violation in successive hyperon decays.  相似文献

We present a precise BABAR measurement on the cross section of the process e^+e^- →π^+π^-(γ) from threshold to an energy of 3 GeV with the initial state radiation (ISR) technique, using 232 fb^-1 of data collected with the BABAR detector at e^+e^- center-of-mass energies near 10.58 GeV. The ISR luminosity is determined from a study of the leptonic process e^+e^- →μ^+μ^-γ(γ). The leading-order hadronic contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly calculated using the ππ cross section measured from threshold to 1.8 GeV is (514.1± 2.2(stat) ± 3.1(syst)) × 10^-10.  相似文献

In this paper, we calculate the branching ratios and the direct CP-violating asymmetries for decays B^0 → a0^0(980)π^0, a0^+ (980)π^-, a0^-(980)π^+ and B^- → a0^0 (980)π^-, a0^- (980)π^0 by employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach at the leading order. We found that (a) the pQCD predictions for the branching ratios are around (0.4-2.8) × 10^-6, consistent with currently available experimental upper limits; (b) the CP asymmetries of B^0→ a0^0(980)π^0 and B^- → a0^- (980)π^0 decays can be large, about (70-80)% for α= 100°.  相似文献

A new particle Σ^ * with J ^P = 1/2^-was predicted by unquenched quark models with its mass around the well established Σ * (1385) with J P = 3/2 + .Here we re-examine some old data of the K^-p → Λπ^-π^ + reaction.Firstly we re-fit the data for kaon beam momenta in the range of 1.0 - 1.8 GeV.Secondly we study the reaction at the energies around Λ*(1520) peak.Both studies show evidence for the existence of Σ*with J^ P = 1/2^-around 1380 MeV.Higher statistic data on relevant reactions are needed to clarify the situation.  相似文献

A standard in-beam γ-spectroscopy experiment for^179 Au has been performed via the ^149Sm (^35Cl, 5n) reaction at beam energies of 164-180 MeV. Based on the analysis of the experimental results, a rotational band built on 1/2[660](π^i13/2)proton intruder orbital is established for^179 Au for the first time. Systematic properties of the 1/2[660](π^i13/2) band in odd-A Au nuclei are discussed,and the evolution of bandhead energy and deformation with changing neutron number are revealed.  相似文献

I show that the CP-violating asymmetry in K^0 vs K^0→π^+π^-π^0 decays differs from that in KL→π^+π^-, KL →π^0π^0 or the semileptonic KL transitions, if there exists CPT violation in K^0-K^0 mixing. A delicate measurement of this difference at a super flavor factory (e.g., the φ factory) will provide us with a robust test of CPT symmetry in the neutral kaon system.  相似文献

Results on the lowest-order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly are presented. They are based on the latest published experimental data used as input to the dispersion integral. Thus recent results on τ→υτππ^0 decays from Belle and on e^+e^- annihilation to π^+π^- from BABAR and KLOE are included. The new data, together with improved isospin-breaking corrections for τ decays, result into a much better consistency among the different results. A discrepancy between the Standard Model prediction and the direct g- 2 measurement is found at the level of 3σ.  相似文献

We study whether the broad enhancement X(1576) arises from the final state interaction (FSI) of p(1450, 1700)→p^+ p^- →K^+ K^-decay,Both the absorptive and dispersive contributions of the above amplitudes are considered since the intermediate states are very close to p(1450, 1700). AThe same mechanism leads to a similar enhancement around 1580 MeV in the π^+ π^- specturm in the J/ψ →π^0 π^+ π^- channel, which can be used to test whether X(1576) can be ascribed to the FSI effect ofp(1450, 1700) → p^+ p^-.  相似文献

Studies of γγ interactions are performed with the KLOE detector, without tagging of the outgoing e^+e^-. The data sample is from an integrated luminosity of 240 pb^-1. It was collected at the φ-factory DAONE with e^+e^- beams colliding at √s ≌1 GeV, below the φ resonance peak. We present preliminary results concerning the observation of the γγ→η process and the evidence for γγ→π^0π^0 production at low π^0π^0 invariant masses.  相似文献

In the framework of the topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model, we study the production of the neutral top-pion πt^0 in association with a high-pw jet at the LHC, which proceeds via the partonic processes gg→πt^0g, gq →πt^0q, qq→πt^0g, gb(b)→πt^0b(b), and bb→πt^0g. We find that it is very challenging to detect the neutral top-pion πt^0 via the process pp → πt^0 +jet + X+ tt+jet +X, while the possible signatures of πt^0 might be detected via the process pp→πt^0 +jet + X→(tc+tc)+jet+X at the LHC.  相似文献
