Antimony compounds that feature multidentate aryloxide ligands, namely [eta4-N(o-C6H4O)3]Sb(OSMe2), {{[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)}2, and {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}4(mu3-O)2 have been synthesized from N(o-C6H4OH)3 and PhN(o-C6H4OH)2 and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. While [eta4-N(o-C6H4O)3]Sb(OSMe2) exists as a discrete mononuclear species, the oxo complexes {{[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)}2 and {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}4(micro3-O)2 are multinuclear. Specifically, the dinuclear fragment {[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)} exists in a dimeric form due to the bridging oxo ligand participating in an intermolecular hydrogen bonding interaction, while the dinuclear fragment {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu-O) exists in a dimeric form due to the bridging oxo ligand serving as a donor to the antimony of a second fragment. The structures of {{[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)}2 and {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}4(mu3-O)(2), therefore, indicate that an oxo ligand bridging two Sb(III) centers is sufficiently electron rich to serve as both an effective hydrogen bond acceptor and as a ligand for an additional Sb(III) center.  相似文献

Functionalization of the N2 ligand in the side-on bound dinitrogen complex, [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2), has been accomplished by addition of terminal alkynes to furnish acetylide zirconocene diazenido complexes, [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(C[triple bond]CR)]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2H2) (R = nBu, tBu, Ph). Characterization of [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(C[triple bond]CCMe3)]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2H2) by X-ray diffraction revealed a side-on bound diazenido ligand in the solid state, while variable-temperature 1H and 15N NMR studies established rapid interconversion between eta1,eta1 and eta2,eta2 hapticity of the [N2H2]2- ligand in solution. Synthesis of alkyl, halide, and triflato zirconocene diazenido complexes, [(eta5-C5Me4H)2ZrX]2(mu2,eta1,eta1-N2H2) (X = Cl, I, OTf, CH2Ph, CH2SiMe3), afforded eta1,eta1 coordination of the [N2H2]2- fragment both in the solid state and in solution, demonstrating that sterically demanding, in some cases pi-donating, ligands can overcome the electronically preferred side-on bonding mode. Unlike [(eta5-C5Me4H)2ZrH]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2H2), the acetylide and alkyl zirconocene diazenido complexes are thermally robust, resisting alpha-migration and N2 cleavage up to temperatures of 115 degrees C. Dinitrogen functionalization with [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) was also accomplished by addition of proton donors. Weak Br?nsted acids such as water and ethanol yield hydrazine and (eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(OH)2 and (eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(OEt)2, respectively. Treatment of [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) with HNMe2 or H2NNMe2 furnished amido or hydrazido zirconocene diazenido complexes that ultimately produce hydrazine upon protonation with ethanol. These results contrast previous observations with [(eta5-C5Me5)2Zr(eta1-N2)]2(mu2,eta1,eta1-N2) where loss of free dinitrogen is observed upon treatment with weak acids. These studies highlight the importance of cyclopentadienyl substituents on transformations involving coordinated dinitrogen.  相似文献

Tetranuclear magnesium complexes with chelating alkoxo ligands have been synthesized with the aim of investigating coordinatively unsaturated magnesium sites able to bind TiX4 (X = Cl, OR), of the type necessary for the formation of the active centers in polymerization catalysts. The magnesium compound [Mg4(mu3,eta2-ddbfo)2(mu,eta2-ddbfo)2(mu,eta1-ddbfo)2(eta1-ddbfo)2] x 2CH2Cl2 (1) (ddbfo = 2,3-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-7-benzofuranoxide) was prepared by the reaction of MgBu2 with ddbfoH in dichloromethane. Complex 1 exists as a centrosymmetric tetranuclear species with two different types of magnesium centers corresponding to octahedral MgO6 and trigonal bipyramidal MgO5 geometry. Compound 1 is monoclinic, space group P2(1/c), with a = 12.053(2) A, b = 13.323(3) A, c = 17.069(3) A, beta = 98.50(3) degrees , and Z = 4. The reaction of 1 with methanol in tetrahydrofuran (THF) gave compound [Mg4(mu3-OMe)2(mu,eta2-ddbfo)2(mu,eta1-ddbfo)2(eta1-ddbfo)2(CH3OH)5] x CH3OH x THF (2). During this reaction one of the two five-coordinate MgO5 centers in 1 is completed by a methanol molecule and becomes octahedral in 2. Species 2 belongs to the P2(1/n) monoclinic space group, with a = 13.323(3) A, b = 20.768(4) A, c = 27.584(6) A, beta = 104.26(3) degrees , and Z = 4. Compound [Mg4(mu3,eta2-thffo)2(mu,zeta2-thffo)2(mu,eta1-thffo)2[mu-OTi(DIPP)3]2] x 2CH2Cl2 (3) is formed as a result of substitution of two thffo (thffo = 2-tetrahydrofurfuroxide) ligands bonded to the five-coordinate magnesium atom in [Mg4(thffo)8] by bulky OTi(DIPP)3 (DIPP = diisopropylphenolate) groups. Crystals of 3 are monoclinic, space group P2(1/n), with a = 17.069(3) A, b = 18.421(4) A, 17.815(4) A, beta = 90.77(3) degrees , and Z = 4. The X-ray crystal structures of complexes 1-3 are discussed in terms of explaining the role of the coordinatively unsaturated magnesium site in chiral catalyst active center formation.  相似文献

The doubly bridged pyridine-2-thionate (pyS) dimolybdenum complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)](2)(mu-eta(1),eta(2)-pyS)(2) (1) is accessible by the reaction of [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)Br] with pySK in methanol at room temperature. Complex 1 reacts with piperidine in acetonitrile to give the complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(eta(2)-pyS)(C(5)H(10)NH)] (2). Treatment of 1 with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) results in the formation of complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(eta(1)-pyS)(phen)] (3), in which the pyS ligand is coordinated to Mo through the sulfur atom. Four conformational isomers, endo,exo-complexes [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(eta(2)-pyS)(eta(2)-diphos)] (diphos = dppm, 4a-4d; dppe, 5a-5d), are accessible by the reactions of 1 with dppm and dppe in refluxing acetonitrile. Homonuclear shift-correlated 2-D (31)P((1)H)-(31)P((1)H) NMR experiments of the mixtures 4a-4d have been employed to elucidate the four stereoisomers. The reaction of 4 and pySK or [Mo(CO)(3)(eta(1)-SC(5)H(4)NH)(eta(2)-dppm)] (6) and O(2) affords allyl-displaced seven-coordinate bis(pyridine-2-thionate) complex [Mo(CO)(eta(2)-pyS)(2)(eta(2)-dppm)] (7). All of the complexes are identified by spectroscopic methods, and complexes 1, 5d, 6, and 7 are determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 5d crystallize in the orthorhombic space groups Pbcn and Pbca with Z = 4 and 8, respectively, whereas 6 belongs to the monoclinic space group C2/c with Z = 8 and 7 belongs to the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with Z = 2. The cell dimensions are as follows: for 1, a = 8.3128(1) A, b = 16.1704(2) A, c = 16.6140(2) A; for 5d, a = 17.8309(10) A, b = 17.3324(10) A, c = 20.3716(11) A; for 6, a = 18.618(4) A, b = 16.062(2) A, c = 27.456(6) A, beta = 96.31(3) degrees; for 7, a = 9.1660(2) A, b = 12.0854(3) A, c = 15.9478(4) A, alpha = 78.4811(10) degrees, beta = 80.3894(10) degrees, gamma = 68.7089(11) degrees.  相似文献

The novel water-soluble ruthenium(II) complexes [RuCl(2)(eta(6)-arene)[P(CH(2)OH)(3)]]2a-c and [RuCl(eta(6)-arene)[P(CH(2)OH)(3)](2)][Cl]3a-c have been prepared in high yields by reaction of dimers [[Ru(eta(6)-arene)(micro-Cl)Cl](2)](arene = C(6)H(6)1a, p-cymene 1b, C(6)Me(6)1c) with two or four equivalents of P(CH(2)OH)(3), respectively. Complexes 2/3a-c are active catalysts in the redox isomerization of several allylic alcohols into the corresponding saturated carbonyl compounds under water/n-heptane biphasic conditions. Among them, the neutral derivatives [RuCl(2)(eta(6)-C(6)H(6))[P(CH(2)OH)(3)]]2a and [RuCl(2)(eta(6)-p-cymene)[P(CH(2)OH)(3)]]2b show the highest activities (TOF values up to 600 h(-1); TON values up to 782). Complexes 2/3a-c also catalyze the hydration of terminal alkynes.  相似文献

Mo(PMe(3))(6) and W(PMe(3))(4)(eta(2)-CH(2)PMe(2))H undergo oxidative addition of the O-H bond of RCO(2)H to yield sequentially M(PMe(3))(4)(eta(2)-O(2)CR)H and M(PMe(3))(3)(eta(2)-O(2)CR)(eta(1)-O(2)CR)H(2) (M = Mo and R = Ph, Bu(t); M = W and R = Bu(t)). One of the oxygen donors of the bidentate carboxylate ligand may be displaced by H(2)O to give rare examples of aqua-dihydride complexes, M(PMe(3))(3)(eta(1)-O(2)CR)(2)(OH(2))H(2), in which the coordinated water molecule is hydrogen-bonded to both carboxylate ligands.  相似文献

Hydride abstraction from C(5)Me(5)(CO)(2)Re(eta(2)-PhC triple bond CCH(2)Ph) (1) gave a 3:1 mixture of eta(3)-propargyl complex [C(5)Me(5)(CO)(2)Re(eta(3)-PhCH-C triple bond CPh)][BF(4)] (5) and eta(2)-1-metalla(methylene)cyclopropene complex [C(5)Me(5)(CO)(2)Re(eta(2)-PhC-C=CHPh)][BF(4)] (6). Observation of the eta(2)-isomer requires 1,3-diaryl substitution and is favored by electron-donating substituents on the C(3)-aryl ring. Interconversion of eta(3)-propargyl and eta(2)-1-metalla(methylene)cyclopropene complexes is very rapid and results in coalescence of Cp (1)H NMR resonances at about -50 degrees C. Protonation of the alkynyl carbene complex C(5)Me(5)(CO)(2)Re=C(Ph)C triple bond CPh (22) gave a third isomer, the eta(3)-benzyl complex [C(5)Me(5)(CO)(2)Re[eta(3)(alpha,1,2)-endo,syn-C(6)H(5)CH(C triple bond CC(6)H(5))]][BF(4)] (23) along with small amounts of the isomeric complexes 5 and 6. While 5 and 6 are in rapid equilibrium, there is no equilibration of the eta(3)-benzyl isomer 23 with 5 and 6.  相似文献

The origin of the hydrogenation of the dinitrogen ligand in [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) has been investigated by a combined computational and experimental study. Density functional theory calculations on the zirconocene dinitrogen complex demonstrate significant imido character in the zirconium nitrogen bonds, arising from effective pi-back-bonding from the low-valent zirconium and the side-on bound N2 ligand. The twisted ground-state structure of the N2 complex is a key requirement for nitrogen hydrogenation, as calculations on the model complex [(eta5-C5H5)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) reveal reduced overlap as the dihedral angle between the zirconocene wedges approaches 0 degrees . Experimentally, isotopic labeling studies on the microscopic reverse are consistent with a 1,2-addition mechanism for nitrogen hydrogenation.  相似文献

Laser-ablated scandium, yttrium, and lanthanum atoms were reacted with CS2 and OCS molecules in an argon matrix. Products of the type SMCX and S-M(eta2-CX) (X = S or O) were formed on sample deposition. Photolysis favored the S-M(eta(2)-CX) complex, while annealing increased the more stable SMCX isomer. Product absorptions are identified by density-functional frequency calculations and isotopic substitutions. This work reports the first vibrational spectroscopic characterization of Sc, Y, and La reaction products with CS2 and OCS and the subsequent interconversion between SMCX and S-M(eta2-CX) structural isomers.  相似文献

The crystalline dimeric 1-azaallyllithium complex [Li{mu,eta(3-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)C(H)SiMe3}]2 (1) was prepared from equivalent portions of Li[CH(SiMe3)2] and 1-cyanoadamantane (AdCN). Complex was used as precursor to each of the crystalline complexes 2-8 which were obtained in good yield. By 1-azaallyl ligand transfer, 1 afforded (i) [Al{eta3-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)C(H)SiMe3}{kappa1-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)=C(H)SiMe3-E}Me] (5) with [AlCl2Me](2), (ii) [Sn{eta3-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)C(H)SiMe3}2] (7) with Sn[N(SiMe3)2]2, and (iii) [Li(N{C(Ad)=C(H)SiMe3-E}{Si(NN)SiMe3})(thf)2] (8) with the silylene Si[(NCH(2)Bu(t))2C6H(4)-1,2] [= Si(NN)]. By insertion into the C[triple bond, length as m-dash]N bond of the appropriate cyanoarene RCN, gave the beta-diketiminate [Li{mu-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)C(H)C(R)NSiMe3}]2 [R = Ph (2), C(6)H(4)Me-4 (3)], and yielded [Al{kappa2-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)C(H)C(Ph)NSiMe3}{kappa1-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)=C(H)SiMe3-E}Me] (6). The beta-diketiminate [Al{kappa2-N(SiMe3)C(Ad)C(H)C(Ph)NSiMe3}Me2] (4) was prepared from 2 and [AlClMe2]2. The X-ray structures of 1 and 3-8 are presented. Multinuclear NMR spectra in C6D6 or C6D5CD3 have been recorded for each of 1-8; such data on 8 revealed that in solution two minor isomers were also present.  相似文献

The reaction mechanism of the reduction of dinitrogen coordinated side-on to a binuclear Zr complex, [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)H)(2)Zr](2)(mu(2),eta(2),eta(2)-N(2)) (T1), was investigated theoretically using a model complex, [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)Zr](2)(mu(2),eta(2),eta(2)-N(2)) (A1), employing density functional theory calculations. The effectiveness of A1 in describing T1 was confirmed by comparing the structures, distributions of charge, and frontier molecular orbitals. Our calculations showed that A1 has a twisted structure, resembling that of T1, which results in similar properties. The calculations for A1 and its derivatives on H(2) addition clearly explain the reaction mechanism and the reaction path that T1 follows, as well as the experimentally required reaction conditions. The immediate reaction of the first and second H(2) additions produces [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)H)(2)ZrH](2)(mu(2),eta(2),eta(2)-N(2)H(2)) (T2), and this is explained by the barrier heights of the reaction, which were calculated to be 20.4 and 10.9 kcal/mol, respectively. The latter barrier was below that of A1 + 2H(2). Complex T2 may be the initial complex for further H(2) addition under proper conditions, or it could lose one H(2) molecule followed by H migration from the Zr site to the N site. Both reactions are expected to occur, because of the closeness of the barrier heights (25.1 and 36.5 kcal/mol, respectively). Gentle warming is required for further H(2) additions, which can be understood from the energetics as well. The high reactivity of T1 with H(2) has been discussed by the comparison of the calculation of A1 and another complex with different ligands, presenting an interesting indication on the effects of the ligands. These theoretical results and discussion explaining the experiment should provide insight into the nature of the hydrogenation mechanism.  相似文献

The chemistry of a novel zerovalent Ru complex, Ru(eta6-cot)(eta2-dmfm)2 (1) (cot=1,3,5-cyclooctatriene; dmfm=dimethyl fumarate), is reviewed with a focus on its reactivity toward phosphines, amines, and H2O, as well as arenes and p-quinones. A variety of novel zerovalent Ru complexes were synthesized from Ru(eta6-cot)(eta2-dmfm)2 (1), and it was shown that the complexes preferably bear both electron-donating and -accepting ligands simultaneously to exhibit thermodynamic stability. The first isolable zerovalent Ru aqua complexes were successfully prepared, and in these complexes, the generation of a chiral center on the O atom of the coordinated H2O was disclosed. In addition, the characteristic catalytic activity of 1 in organic synthesis was considered by reviewing recently developed novel reactions: (i) dimerization of 2,5-norbornadiene to pentacyclo[6.6.0.0(2,6).0(3,13).0(10,14)]tetradeca-4,11-diene (PCTD), (ii) intramolecular hydroamination of aminoalkynes to cyclic imines, (iii) formal [4+2] cycloaddition of alkynes with dmfm to trans-4-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxylates, and (iv) co-dimerization of dihydrofurans with alpha,beta-unsaturated esters to 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans. The products obtained here are expected to be used as novel functional organic monomers.  相似文献

The reactions of scandium atoms and O(2) have been reinvestigated using matrix isolation infrared spectroscopy and density functional theory calculations. A series of new oxygen-rich scandium oxide/dioxygen complexes were prepared and characterized. The ground state scandium atoms react with dioxygen to form OSc(eta(2)-O(3)), a side-on bonded scandium monoxide-ozonide complex. The OSc(eta(2)-O(3)) complex rearranges to a more stable Sc(eta(2)-O(2))(2) isomer under visible light irradiation, which is characterized to be a side-on bonded superoxo scandium peroxide complex. The homoleptic trisuperoxo scandium complex, Sc(eta(2)-O(2))(3), and the superoxo scandium bisozonide complex, (eta(2)-O(2))Sc(eta(2)-O(3))(2), are also formed upon sample annealing. The Sc(eta(2)-O(2))(3) complex is determined to have a D(3h) symmetry with three equivalent side-on bonded superoxo ligands around the scandium atom. The (eta(2)-O(2))Sc(eta(2)-O(3))(2) complex has a C(2) symmetry with two equivalent side-on bonded O3 ligands and one side-on bonded superoxo ligand.  相似文献

The 3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazolato (3,5-tBu(2)pz) derivatives of aluminum [(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(mu-Al)R(1)R(2)](2) (R(1) = R(2) = Me 1; R(1) = R(2) = Et, 2; R(1) = R(2) = Cl, 3; R(1) = R(2) = I, 4; [(eta(2)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(3)Al], 5; [Al(2)(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(2)(mu-E)(C triple bond CPh)(2)] (E = S (6), Se (7), Te (8)) have been prepared in good yield. Compounds 1 and 2 were obtained by the reactions of H[3,5-tBu(2)pz] with Me(3)Al and Et(3)Al, respectively. Reaction of [(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(mu-Al)H(2)](2) with the pyrazole H[3,5-tBu(2)pz] gave [(eta(2)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(3)Al] (5). The reaction of [(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(mu-Al)R(2)](2) (R = H, Me) and I(2) yielded 4, while the reaction of 1 equiv of K[3,5-tBu(2)pz] and AlCl(3) afforded 3. In addition, the reaction of [Al(2)(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(2)(mu-E)H(2)] and HC triple bond CPh gave 6, 7, and 8. All compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectroscopy. The molecular structure analyses of compounds 1, 3, 6, and 7 by X-ray crystallography showed that complexes 1 and 3 are dimeric with two eta(1),eta(1)-pyrazolato groups in twisted conformation while 6 and 7 with two eta(1),eta(1)-pyrazolato groups display a boat conformation.  相似文献

The title reactions were studied using laser flash photolysis/laser-induced-fluorescence (FP-LIF) techniques. The two spin-orbit states, Cl*(2P(1/2)) and Cl(2P(3/2)), were detected using LIF at 135.2 and 134.7 nm, respectively. Measured reaction rate constants were as follows (units of cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)): k(Cl(2P(3/2))+CH3OH) = (5.35 +/- 0.24) x 10(-11), k(Cl(2P(3/2))+C2H5OH) = (9.50 +/- 0.85) x 10(-11), k(Cl(2P(3/2))+n-C3H7OH) = (1.71 +/- 0.11) x 10(-10), and k(Cl(2P(3/2))+i-C3H7OH) = (9.11 +/- 0.60) x 10(-11). Measured rate constants for total removal of Cl*(2P(1/2)) in collisions with CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH were (1.95 +/- 0.13) x 10(-10), (2.48 +/- 0.18) x 10(-10), (3.13 +/- 0.18) x 10(-10), and (2.84 +/- 0.16) x 10(-10), respectively; quoted errors are two-standard deviations. Although spin-orbit excited Cl*(2P(1/2)) atoms have 2.52 kcal/mol more energy than Cl(2P(3/2)), the rates of chemical reaction of Cl*(2P(1/2)) with CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH are only 60-90% of the corresponding Cl(2P(3/2)) atom reactions. Under ambient conditions spin-orbit excited Cl* atoms are responsible for 0.5%, 0.5%, 0.4%, and 0.7% of the observed reactivity of thermalized Cl atoms toward CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH, respectively.  相似文献

Novel vanadium(III) and oxovanadium(IV) compounds with the diamidate ligand 1,2-bis(2-pyridinecarboxamide)benzene (H2bpb) were synthesized and structurally characterized. H2bpb is capable of binding to vanadium in either its anionic (dianionic-monoanionic) or its neutral form, resulting in complexes of various geometries and stoichiometries. The dianionic form (bpb2-), in NHEt3(trans-[VCl2(bpb)]) (1) and [VO(bpb)(H2O)]05dmso036CH3OH013H2O (6x05dmsox036CH3OHx013H2O), acts as a planar tetradentate bis[N-amidate-N-pyridine] equatorial ligand. The monoanionic form (Hbpb-) behaves as an (Npy,Oam) or (Npy,Nam) chelator in [V(Hbpb)3]2CHCl3 (22CHCl3) as well as a mu 2-bridging-eta 4-(Npy,Oam-Npy,Nam) in [VOCl(Hbpb)](2)x2CH3NO2 (3x2CH3NO2), while the neutral H2bpb behaves as a mu 2-bridging-eta 4-bis(Npy,Oam) in [VOCl(H2bpb)](2)x104CH3OHx123thfx074H2O (4x104CH3OH123thf074H2O). Compound 4x104CH3OHx123thfx074H2O crystallizes in the triclinic system P1, with (at 25 degrees C) a = 9140(2) A, b = 11058(2) A, c = 14175(2) A, alpha = 99013(5) degrees, beta = 104728(7) degrees, gamma = 102992(7) degrees, V = 13149(4) A3, Z = 1, while compound 605dmso036CH3OH013H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with (at 25 degrees C) a = 11054(5) A, b = 11407(5) A, c = 16964(7) A, beta = 932(1) degrees, V = 2136(2) A3, Z = 4. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility studies of the dimeric compounds 3x2CH3NO2 and 4x104CH3OH show g values for the V(IV) centers that are slightly smaller than 20 (as expected for d1 ions) and indicate small antiferromagnetic coupling between the two vanadium(IV) centers. Ab initio calculations were also carried out, providing results concerning the effect of the relative strength and the deformation energy involved in the eta 2-(Npy,Nam) and eta 2-(Npy,Oam) bonding modes in the ligation of Hbpb- to vanadium.  相似文献

Reaction of [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]TiCl(NMe2) (1) with 1 equiv of PhCH2K, MeMgBr, or Me3SiCH2Li gave corresponding organotitanium alkyl complexes [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(R)(NMe2) (R = CH2Ph (2), CH2SiMe3 (4), or Me (5)) in good yields. Treatment of 1 with 1 equiv of n-BuLi afforded the decomposition product {[eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti}2(mu-NMe)(mu:sigma-CH2NMe) (3). Complex 5 slowly decomposed to generate a mixed-valence dinuclear species {[eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti}2(mu-NMe2)(mu:sigma-CH2NMe) (6). Complex 1 reacted with 1 equiv of PhNCO or 2,6-Me2C6H3NC to afford the corresponding monoinsertion product [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(Cl)[eta(2)-OC(NMe2)NPh] (7) or [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(Cl)[eta(2)-C(NMe2)=N(2,6-Me2C6H3)] (8). Reaction of 4 or 5 with 1 equiv of R'NC gave the titanium eta(2)-iminoacyl complexes [eta:(5)sigma-Me2C(C5H4)(C2B10H10)]Ti(NMe2)[eta(2)-C(R)=N(R')] (R = CH2SiMe3, R' = 2,6-Me2C6H3 (9) or tBu (10); R = Me, R' = 2,6-Me2C6H3 (11) or tBu (12)). The results indicated that the unsaturated molecules inserted into the Ti-N bond only in the absence of the Ti-C(alkyl) bond and that the Ti-C(cage) bond remained intact. All complexes were fully characterized by various spectroscopic techniques and elemental analyses. Molecular structures of 2, 3, 6-8, and 10-12 were further confirmed by single-crystal X-ray analyses.  相似文献

The addition of nitrogen hydrides (hydrazine, hydroxylamine, ammonia, azide) to the pentacyanonitrosylferrate(II) ion has been analyzed by means of density functional calculations, focusing on the identification of stable intermediates along the reaction paths. Initial reversible adduct formation and further decomposition lead to the eta(1)- and eta(2)-linkage isomers of N(2)O and N(2), depending on the nucleophile. The intermediates (adducts and gas-releasing precursors) have been characterized at the B3LYP/6-31G level of theory through the calculation of their structural and spectroscopic properties, modeling the solvent by means of a continuous approach. The eta(2)-N(2)O isomer is formed at an initial stage of adduct decompositions with the hydrazine and azide adducts. Further conversion to the eta(1)-N(2)O isomer is followed by Fe-N(2)O dissociation. Only the eta(1)-N(2)O isomer is predicted for the reaction with hydroxylamine, revealing a kinetically controlled N(2)O formation. eta(1)-N(2) and eta(2)-N(2) isomers are also predicted as stable species.  相似文献

The reaction of nido-[7,8,9-PC(2)B(8)H(11)] (1) with [[CpFe(CO)(2)](2)] (Cp=eta(5)-C(5)H(5) (-)) in benzene (reflux, 3 days) gave an eta(1)-bonded complex [7-Fp-(eta(1)-nido-7,8,9,-PC(2)B(8)H(10))] (2; Fp=CpFe(CO)(2); yield 38 %). A similar reaction at elevated temperatures (xylene, reflux 24 h) gave the isomeric complex [7-Fp-(eta(1)-nido-7,9,10-PC(2)B(8)H(10))] (3; yield 28 %) together with the fully sandwiched complexes [1-Cp-closo-1,2,4,5-FePC(2)B(8)H(10)] 4 a (yield 30%) and [1-Cp-closo-1,2,4,8-FePC(2)B(8)H(10)] 4 b (yield 5%). Compounds 2 and 3 are isolable intermediates along the full eta(5)-complexation pathway of the phosphadicarbaborane cage; their heating (xylene, reflux, 24 h) leads finally to the isolation of compounds 4 a (yields 46 and 52%, respectively) and 4 b (yields 4 and 5%, respectively). Moreover, compound 3 is isolated as a side product from the heating of 2 (yield 10%). The structure of compound 4 a was determined by an X-ray structural analysis and the constitution of all compounds is consistent with the results of mass spectrometry and IR spectroscopy. Multinuclear ((1)H, (11)B, (31)P, and (13)C), two-dimensional [(11)B-(11)B]-COSY, and (1)H[(11)B(selective)] magnetic resonance measurements led to complete assignments of all resonances and are in excellent agreement with the structures proposed.  相似文献

The infrared spectra of the water-nitrogen complexes trapped in argon matrices have been studied with Fourier transform infrared absorption spectroscopy. The absorption lines of the H20-N2 1:1, 1:2, 1:n, and 2:1 complexes have been confirmed on the basis of the concentration effects. In addition, we have observed a few lines and propose the assignments for the 2:2, 2:3, and 2:4 complexes in the nu1 symmetric stretching and nu2 bending regions of the proton-acceptor molecule, and in the bonded OH stretching region of the proton-donor molecule. The redshifts in the bonded OH stretching mode and blueshifts in the OH bending mode suggest that the hydrogen bonds in the (H2O)2-(N2)n complexes with n = 1-4 are strengthened by the cooperative effects compared to the pure H2O dimer. Two absorption bands due to the 3:n complexes are also observed near the bonded OH stretching region of the H2O trimer.  相似文献
