In this paper we prove sufficient conditions for the Fredholm property of a non-smooth pseudodifferential operator P which symbol is in a Hölder space with respect to the spatial variable. As a main ingredient for the proof we use a suitable symbol-smoothing.  相似文献

In this paper,we study the weighted estimates for multilinear pseudodifferential operators.We show that a multilinear pseudodifferential operator is bounded with respect to multiple weights whenever its symbol satisfies some smoothness and decay conditions.Our result generalizes similar ones from the classical Ap weights to multiple weights.  相似文献

In this paper, a bisingular pseudodifferential calculus, along the lines of the one introduced by L. Rodino in his paper of 1975, is developed in the global setting of a product of compact Lie groups. The approach follows that introduced by M. Ruzhansky and V. Turunen in their book of 2010 (see also V. Fischer's paper of 2015), in that it exploits the harmonic analysis of the groups involved.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to examine a boundary element collocation method for some parabolic pseudodifferential equations. The basic model problem for our investigation is the two-dimensional heat conduction problem with vanishing initial condition and a given Neumann or Dirichlet type boundary condition. Certain choices of the representation formula for the heat potential yield boundary integral equations of the first kind, namely the single layer and the hypersingular heat operator equations. Both of these operators, in particular, are covered by the class of parabolic pseudodifferential operators under consideration. Moreover, the spatial domain is allowed to have a general smooth boundary curve. As trial functions the tensor products of the smoothest spline functions of odd degree (space) and continuous piecewise linear splines (time) are used. Stability and convergence of the method is proved in some appropriate anisotropic Sobolev spaces.  相似文献

A new definition of the expansion in smoothness of a distribution at a point is introduced. Some properties of the new expansion are studied and a uniqueness result for the coefficients of the expansion is proved. The main application of the definition is for obtaining the asymptotics in smooth ness of pseudodifferential operators acting on a function near a corner point of singsupp f. L 1 ×N (0,+∞) ≡ L 1 (0,+∞) × ... × L (0,+∞) is the independent term of the equation with nonnegative components and 0 ≤ K ij ? L 1 (?∞,+∞), i, j = 1, 2, …,N are the kernel-functions. These equations have significant applications in the wave non-local interaction theory. Using some special factorization methods, solvability of the system is proved in different functional spaces.

A class of Cauchy problems for interesting complicated periodic pseudodifferential equations is considered. By the Galerkin-wavelet method and with weak solutions one can find sufficient conditions to establish convergence estimates of weak Galerkin-wavelet solutions to a Cauchy problem for this class of equations.

If u0 is compactly supported the solution is smooth for small , but not for all t. We consider the system of Hammerstein integral equations
where T>0 is fixed, ρi’s are given functions and the nonlinearities fi(t,x1,x2,…,xn) can be singular at t=0 and xj=0 where j{1,2,,n}. Criteria are offered for the existence of constant-sign solutions, i.e., θiui(t)≥0 for t[0,T] and 1≤in, where θi{1,−1} is fixed. The tools used are a nonlinear alternative of Leray–Schauder type, Krasnosel’skii’s fixed point theorem in a cone and Schauder’s fixed point theorem. We also include examples and applications to illustrate the usefulness of the results obtained.  相似文献

In this paper we are concerned with the complete spectral analysis for the operator 𝒯 = 𝒳𝒮𝒰 in the space Lp(𝕋) (𝕋 denoting the unit circle), where 𝒳 is the characteristic function of some arc of 𝕋, 𝒮 is the singular integral operator with Cauchy kernel and 𝒰 is a Carleman shift operator which satisfies the relations 𝒰2 = I and 𝒮𝒰 = ±𝒰𝒮, where the sign + or — is taken in dependence on whether 𝒰 is a shift operator on Lp(𝕋) preserving or changing the orientation of 𝕋. This includes the identification of the Fredholm and essential parts of the spectrum of the operator 𝒯, the determination of the defect numbers of 𝒯 — λI, for λ in the Fredholm part of the spectrum, as well as a formula for the resolvent operator.  相似文献

We consider rank one perturbations Aα=A+α(⋅,φ)φ of a self-adjoint operator A with cyclic vector φH−1(A) on a Hilbert space H. The spectral representation of the perturbed operator Aα is given by a singular integral operator of special form. Such operators exhibit what we call ‘rigidity’ and are connected with two weight estimates for the Hilbert transform. Also, some results about two weight estimates of Cauchy (Hilbert) transforms are proved. In particular, it is proved that the regularized Cauchy transforms Tε are uniformly (in ε) bounded operators from L2(μ) to L2(μα), where μ and μα are the spectral measures of A and Aα, respectively. As an application, a sufficient condition for Aα to have a pure absolutely continuous spectrum on a closed interval is given in terms of the density of the spectral measure of A with respect to φ. Some examples, like Jacobi matrices and Schrödinger operators with L2 potentials are considered.  相似文献
