The 5G technology is a promising technology to cope with the increasing demand for higher data rate and quality of service. In this paper, two proposed techniques are implemented for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) self-heterodyne OFDM system to enhance data rate and minimize the bit error rate (BER). In both of the two proposed techniques, Band Selection (BS) approach is used, once with Space Time Block Coded (STBC) for the first proposed technique (BS- STBC), and once again with Frequency Space Time Block Coded (FSTBC) for the second proposed technique (BS-FSTBC). The use of the BS in the proposed techniques helps to choose the sub-band with better subchannels gains for sending the information and consequently, minimize the BER. Moreover, the use of the FSTBC instead of STBC helps to use the spectral efficiently and hence increase data rate. The simulation results show that the proposed techniques BS-STBC and BS-FSTBC, for the MIMO self-heterodyne OFDM system, provide a great enhancement in the BER performance when compared to the conventional techniques. Moreover, the simulation results show that the first proposed technique BS-FSTBC outperform the second propose technique BS-STBC in term of the BER performance. 相似文献

The electromagnetic properties of superconductors are studied in the framework of a quantum gauge-invariant theory. The formulation is developed in the generalized pair approximation which preserves the Ward-Takahashi identities. The macroscopic equations which regulate current and electromagnetic fields are derived by means of the boson transformation method. Comparison with previous works is reported. 相似文献

在适当的温度、应变率和预变形下,合金材料的拉伸试验中,将会出现伴随应力锯齿形跌落的雪崩式剪切变形带,即波特文-勒夏特利埃(Portevin-Le Chatelier,PLC)效应。利用高速数字摄像系统(分辨力1000 frames/s)并结合数字散斑干涉法(Digital speckle pattern interferometry,DSPI)和数字散斑相关法设计了一套光学变形测量系统,实现了拉伸试验中对试件表面三维变形的实时、精确测量。利用该光学系统对铝铜合金试件在拉伸试验中产生的跳跃传播的局域剪切带瞬态成核过程进行捕捉。通过结合数字散斑相关法得到的面内变形定量结果和数字散斑干涉法得到的表现离面变形的条纹图,再现了剪切变形带成核和传播瞬间的三维变形过程。 相似文献

An electromagnetically induced transparency metamaterial (EITM) based on dielectric resonators is presented in this paper, which consists of a cut wire (CW) and ten dielectric columns. Destructive interference between the CW, which is a branch of the microstrip line, and the dielectric resonators causes the EIT phenomenon. The simulation results show that the dielectric-based EITM designed can obtain a transmission peak of 0.938 at 2.17 GHz, and the two-oscillator model is utilized to verify the effectiveness of the structure. In addition, samples of the dielectric-based EITM are also fabricated and the effectiveness of the metamaterial is experimentally verified. The proposed metamaterial has several advantages, including high efficiency, low loss, a simple structure, and ease of manufacture, which has good prospects for application in the fields of electromagnetic switches, sensors, and nonlinear metamaterials. 相似文献

Major advances in the observation and theory of cosmic microwave background anisotropies have opened up a new era in cosmology. This has encouraged the hope that the fundamental parameters of cosmology will be determined to high accuracy in the near future. However, this optimism should not obscure the ongoing need for theoretical developments that go beyond the highly successful but simplified standard model. Such developments include improvements in observational modelling (e.g. foregrounds, non-Gaussian features), extensions and alternatives to the simplest inflationary paradigm (e.g. non-adiabatic effects, defects), and investigation of nonlinear effects. In addition to well known nonlinear effects such as the Rees–Sciama and Ostriker–Vishniac effects, further nonlinear effects have recently been identified. These include a Rees–Sciama-type tensor effect, time-delay effects of scalar and tensor lensing, nonlinear Thomson scattering effects and a nonlinear shear effect. Some of the nonlinear effects and their potential implications are discussed. 相似文献

The third-order nonlinear optical properties of water-soluble Cu_(2-x)Se nanocrystals are studied in the near infrared range of 700-980 nm using a femtosecond pulsed laser by the Z-scan technique. It is observed that the nonlinear optical response of Cu_(2-x)Se nanocrystals is sensitively dependent on the excitation wavelength and exhibits the enhanced nonlinearity compared with other selenides such as ZnSe and CdSe. The W-shaped Z-scan trace, a mixture of the reversed saturated absorption and saturated absorption, is observed near the plasmon resonance band of Cu_(2-x)Se nanocrystals, which is attributed to the state-filling of free carriers generated by copper vacancies(self-doping effect) of Cu_(2-x)Se nanocrystals as well as the hot carrier thermal effect upon intense femtosecond laser excitation. The large nonlinear optical response and tunable plasmonic band make Cu_(2-x)Se nanocrystals promising materials for applications in ultra-fast all-optical switching devices as well as nonlinear nanosensors. 相似文献

利用MPB软件和MEEP软件对一维光子晶体带隙结构及透射谱进行了仿真与实验研究.讨论了不同介质填充比和介质相对介电常数对光子晶体带隙结构的影响.仿真结果表明,当高相对介电常数介质的填充比增大时,或高相对介电常数增大时,光子晶体带隙的中心频率缓慢减小,带隙宽度呈先增大后减小的趋势,存在一极大值点.采用高相对介电常数介质薄板[钛酸钡(BaTiO<,3>)粉末混合聚二甲基硅氧烷(PDMS)胶体]和泡沫薄板周期性排列组成一维光子晶体.实验上制得了高低介质相对介电常数分别为4.5和1,填充比为1:1,晶格常数为10 mm,周期数为5的光子晶体,并测量出该光子晶体的微波透射谱.测量结果表明,在8~12 GHz的微波频段,该光子晶体的带隙中心频率为9.3 GHz,带隙宽度为500 MHz. 相似文献

A method of measuring the electron density kinetics in the plasma of pulse-periodic metal vapor and metal compound vapor lasers using microwave technique within the wavelength region of 78–142 GHz is realized. The method is based on the dependence of the absorption efficiency of a probe microwave radiation on the frequency of electron collisions and also on the dependence of the cut-off or the critical density on the frequency of the probe radiation. In a quasioptical translucence scheme the plasma of a copper bromide vapor laser is studied within an interpulse time interval in a gas-discharge tube of 20 mm in inner diameter and with a 300 mm long active heated region excited by a capacitor discharge with a pulse repetition rate of 10 kHz. It is shown that under operational conditions typical for metal vapor lasers the absorption of the probe radiation within the interpulse intervals is totally determined by Coulomb electron–ion collisions. This allows one to measure both the density kinetics and the electron temperature. Probable measurement errors are analyzed and it is shown that they result in a systematic error for the absolute value of the electron density but have a slight influence on the density kinetics. 相似文献

The so-called hot spot model is often used to study problems concerning the local heating of electrons and phonons and local suppression of superconductivity by electromagnetic radiation. This model implies that the dynamics of a system in a certain time interval can be described by a locally equilibrium electron distribution function, but the electron temperature Te differs from the equilibrium value. Such an assumption makes it possible to use the heat equation to study the temporal and spatial dynamics of Te and significantly simplifies the study of the dynamic response of a superconductor. Examples of the use of this model to describe nonequilibrium effects occurring in systems with different types of superconducting pairing under electromagnetic irradiation have been presented in this work. 相似文献

Adopting Yoshizawa's two-scale expansion technique, the fluctuating field is expanded around the isotropic field. The renormalization group method is applied for calculating the covariance of the fluctuating field at the lower order expansion. A nonlinear Reynolds stress model is derived and the turbulent constants inside are evaluated analytically. Compared with the two-scale direct interaction approximation analysis for turbulent shear flows proposed by Yoshizawa, the calculation is much more simple. The analytical model presented here is close to the Speziale model, which is widely applied in the numerical simulations for the complex turbulent flows. 相似文献

By studying numerically the light transmitting through a finite nonlinear Fibonacci multilayer, we find the gap-soliton-like phenomenon. The Fibonacci multilayer contains a Kerrtype nonlinearity in one component. When the frequency of incident light is in a stop gap, increasing the incident light intensity will make the system switch from a lower transmission state to a higher transmission state. Transmissivity for some frequencies can reach unit, which shows that they correspond to transparent states. Distribution of the field intensity in the Fibonacci structure has a particular gap-soliton-like shape, which has the multi-carrier wave. 相似文献
