With the aid of the Painlevé analysis, we obtain residual symmetries for a new (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev—Petviashvili (gKP) equation. The residual symmetry is localized and the finite transformation is proposed by introducing suitable auxiliary variables. In addition, the interaction solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional gKP equation are constructed via the consistent Riccati expansion method. Particularly, some analytical soliton-cnoidal interaction solutions are discussed in graphical way.  相似文献

Recently, a new (2+1)-dimensional shallow water wave system, the (2+1)-dimensional displacement shallow water wave system (2DDSWWS), was constructed by applying the variational principle of the analytic mechanics in the Lagrange coordinates. The disadvantage is that fluid viscidity is not considered in the 2DDSWWS, which is the same as the famous Kadomtsev—Petviashvili equation and Korteweg—de Vries equation. Applying dimensional analysis, we modify the 2DDSWWS and add the term related to the fluid viscidity to the 2DDSWWS. The approximate similarity solutions of the modified 2DDSWWS (M2DDSWWS) is studied and four similarity solutions are obtained. For the perfect fluids, the coefficient of kinematic viscosity is zero, then the M2DDSWWS will degenerate to the 2DDSWWS.  相似文献

By means of the singular manifold method we obtain a general solution involving three arbitrary functions for the (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation. Diverse periodic wave solutions may be produced by appropriately selecting these arbitrary functions as the Jacobi elliptic functions. The interaction properties of the periodic waves are investigated numerically and found to be nonelastic. The long wave limit yields some new types of solitary wave solutions. Especially the dromion and the solitoff solutions obtained in this paper possess new types of solution structures which are quite different from the basic dromion and solitoff ones reported previously in the literature.  相似文献

Based on the B/icklund method and the multilinear variable separation approach (MLVSA), this paper finds a general solution including two arbitrary functions for the (2+1)-dimensional Burgers equations. Then a class of new doubly periodic wave solutions for (2+l)-dimensional Burgers equations is obtained by introducing appropriate Jacobi elliptic functions, Weierstrass elliptic functions and their combination in the general solutions (which contains two arbitrary functions). Two types of limit cases are considered. Firstly, taking one of the moduli to be unity and the other zero, it obtains particular wave (called semi-localized) patterns, which is periodic in one direction, but localized in the other direction. Secondly, if both moduli are tending to 1 as a limit, it derives some novel localized excitations (two-dromion solution).  相似文献

Under investigation in this paper is a generalized (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation in fluid dynamics and plasma physics. Soliton and one-periodic-wave solutions are obtained via the Hirota bilinear method and Hirota–Riemann method. Magnitude and velocity of the one soliton are derived. Graphs are presented to discuss the solitons and one-periodic waves: the coefficients in the equation can determine the velocity components of the one soliton, but cannot alter the soliton magnitude; the interaction between the two solitons is elastic; the coefficients in the equation can influence the periods and velocities of the periodic waves. Relation between the one-soliton solution and one-periodic wave solution is investigated.  相似文献

Soliton molecules have become one of the hot topics in recent years. In this article, we investigate soliton molecules and some novel hybrid solutions for the (2+1)-dimensional generalized Konopelchenko–Dubrovsky–Kaup–Kupershmidt (gKDKK) equation by using the velocity resonance, module resonance, and long wave limits methods. By selecting some specific parameters, we can obtain soliton molecules and asymmetric soliton molecules of the gKDKK equation. And the interactions among N-soliton molecules are elastic. Furthermore, some novel hybrid solutions of the gKDKK equation can be obtained, which are composed of lumps, breathers, soliton molecules and asymmetric soliton molecules. Finally, the images of soliton molecules and some novel hybrid solutions are given, and their dynamic behavior is analyzed.  相似文献

By a simple transformation, we reduce the (2 1)-dimensional modified dispersive water-wave system to a simple nonlinear partial differential equation. In order to solve this equation by generalized tanh-function method, we only need to solve a simple system of first-order ordinary differential equations, and by doing so we can obtain many new soliton-like solutions which include the solutions obtained by using the conventional tanh-function method.  相似文献

The extended mapping method with symbolic computation is developed to obtain exact periodic wave solutions to the generalized Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov equation. Limit cases are studied and new solitary wave solutions and triangular periodic wave solutions are obtained. The (1+2)-dimensional chiral nonlinear Schrödinger equation (2D-CNLSE) as a nonlinear evolution equation is considered and studied in a detailed manner. To this end, a complex transform is firstly adopted to arrive at the real and imaginary parts of the model, and then, the modified Jacobi elliptic expansion method is formally utilized to derive soliton and other solutions of the 2D-CNLSE. In this paper, a new (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation is introduced, through the generalized bilinear operators based on prime number p=3. By Maple symbolic calculation, one-, two-lump, and breather-type periodic soliton solutions are obtained, where the condition of positiveness and analyticity of the lump solution are considered. The interaction solutions between the lump and multi-kink soliton, and the interaction between the lump and breather-type periodic soliton are derived, by combining multi-exponential function or trigonometric sine and cosine functions with a quadratic one. In addition, new interaction solutions between a lump, periodic-solitary waves, and one-, two- or even three-kink solitons are constructed by using the ansatz technique. In this paper, based on the Hirota's bilinear method, the Wronskian and Grammian technique, as well as several properties of determinant, a broad set of sufficient conditions consisting of systems of linear partial differential equations are presented, which guarantees that the Wronskian determinant and the Grammian determinant solve the (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa equation in the bilinear form, and then some special exact Wronskian and Grammian solutions are obtained by solving the differential conditions. In this paper, the general projective Riccati equation method is applied to derive variable separation solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional variable coefficient Broer-Kaup system. By further studying, we find that these variable separation solutions obtained by PREM, which seem independent, actually depend on each other. Based on the variable separation solution and choosing suitable functions p and q, new types of fusion and fission phenomena among bell-like semi-foldons are firstly investigated.  相似文献
