We report that oxidative addition of bromobenzene to Pd(PtBu3)2 occurs by an unusual autocatalytic mechanism. Studies on the effect of various additives showed that the degree of rate acceleration followed the trend: (PtBu3)Pd(Ph)(Br) approximately (HPtBu3)Br < [(PtBu3)Pd(mu-Br)]2 < (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br). Studies on the reactions of Pd(PtBu3)2 in the presence of (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br) showed that the concentration of (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br) decreased only after the Pd(0) complex had been consumed. These data indicated that the catalyst in this process is (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br). Thermal decomposition of the three-coordinate oxidative addition product (PtBu3)Pd(Ar)(Br) during the reaction of Pd(PtBu3)2 and bromoarenes ultimately leads to formation of (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br). Parallel reactions of bromobenzene with (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br) and Pd(PtBu3)2 showed that the bromoarenes reacted considerably faster with the Pd(II) species than with the Pd(0) species. We therefore propose a catalytic cycle for oxidative addition in which PBut3.HBr reacts with the Pd(0) species to form (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br), and (PtBu3)2Pd(H)(Br) reacts with the bromoarene, possibly though the anionic species [HPtBu3+][(PtBu3)Pd(Br)-], to form [Pd(PtBu3)(Ar)(Br)].  相似文献

Oxidative addition of aliphatic alcohols to (C(8)H(14))IrCl(PMe(3))(3) in benzene yields the cis-hydrido-alkoxo products mer-cis-HIr(OR)Cl(PMe(3))(3) (R = Me, Et, 1-pentyl, 2-propyl). The analogous hydroxo complex is prepared by oxidative addition of water in THF. The addition rate depends on the nature of the alcohol (methanol > 1-pentanol > 2-propanol and methanol > water). The reaction is retarded in polar media but accelerated by protic cosolvents. Anionic ligand redistribution involving chloride and alkoxide (or hydroxide) competes with the oxidative addition reaction. A detailed kinetic study suggests that the 16-electron IrCl(PMe(3))(3) is the species undergoing the oxidative addition, and mer-cis-HIr(OR)Cl(PMe(3))(3) is the kinetic product. The reaction proceeds by a single-step nucleophilic attack of the metal on the O-H proton. Pi-donation by chloride stabilizes the transition state and governs the stereochemical course of the reaction. Protic solvent aggregation in the transition state in an apolar medium is suggested. mer-cis-HIr(OH)Cl(PEt(3))(3), obtained by water addition to IrCl(PEt(3))(3), was crystallographically characterized, showing an unusual hydrophobic cage around the hydride ligand.  相似文献

We have developed a highly efficient reaction for catalytic asymmetric addition of malonates to dihydroisoquinolines using chiral Pd(II) complexes. In the reactions, substrates with various substitution patterns were available, and the reactions were complete within several hours (<3 h in most cases) under mild reaction conditions, affording various optically active C1-substituted tetrahydroisoquinoline derivatives (up to 98% yield, up to 97% ee). Furthermore, slow addition of DDQ allowed the in situ generation of the reactive intermediate from the corresponding N-Boc-protected amine, and dehydrogenative addition reaction was successfully demonstrated.  相似文献

A new palladium catalyst (DAPCy) made from Pd(OAc)(2) and commercially available, inexpensive dicyclohexylamine has been developed for the Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl bromides with boronic acids to give the coupling products in good to high yields. The air-stable catalyst was characterized and well-defined by X-ray crystallography. A catalytic system involving DAPCy in dioxane demonstrates a temperature-dependent reactivity toward aryl bromides with different electronic substituents, and selectively couples electron-deficient aryl bromides with boronic acids over electron-rich ones at room temperature. Another catalytic system employing DAPCy in EtOH provides a general and convenient method to prepare biaryls from aryl bromides and boronic acids with a broad range of functional groups at room temperature and under aerobic conditions.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Phenyl vinyl sulfones and sulfoxides react with Pd(OAc)(2) to form styryl sulfoxides and sulfones according to the first Mizoroki-Heck reaction reported for these thio derivatives. Only sulfones are able to react by using catalytic amounts of Pd (up to 1 mol %) in the presence of Ag(2)CO(3). 1,2-Diphenylsulfonyl ethenes, alkynylphenyl sulfones, and other sulfones, less prone to act as acceptors in the Heck-type reactions, can transfer the aryl group to alkyl acrylates forming cinnamic esters.  相似文献

The phenylgallium-containing clusters constructed with bridging imido and amido ligands, (PhGa)(4)(NH(i)Bu)(4)(N(i)Bu)(2) (1) (51% yield) and (PhGa)(7)(NHMe)(4)(NMe)(5) (2) (31% yield), were synthesized from the room-temperature reactions of bis(dimethylamido)phenylgallium, [PhGa(NMe(2))(2)](2), with isobutylamine and methylamine, respectively. The reaction of [PhGa(NMe(2))(2)](2) in refluxing isobutylamine (85 degrees C) afforded (Ph(2)GaNH(i)Bu)(2) as one of the products, while the reaction of [PhGa(NMe(2))(2)](2) with methylamine at 150 degrees C afforded compound 2 in only 9% yield. Compound 1 possessed an admantane-like Ga(4)N(6) core, whereas compound 2 had a novel Ga(7)N(9) core constructed with both chair- and boat-shaped Ga(3)N(3) rings. The presence of several isomers of compounds 1 and 2 in solution is discussed along the structural similarities with other known gallium-nitrogen clusters and with gallium nitride.  相似文献

Reactions of pyrazole, 3,5-dimethylpyrazole, imidazole, and 1,2,4-triazole with triphenyl(phenylethynyl)phosphonium bromide gave the corresponding 2-azolyl-2-phenylethenyl(triphenyl)phosphonium salts. The PH bond of dialkylphosphites (dimethylphosphite, 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxa-2-phosphorinane and 4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3-dioxa-2-phospholane) oxidatively adds to irClL2(L = PPh3, AsPh3) and IrCl(PMe2Ph)3 generated in situ to give six-coordinate hydrido(dialkylphosphonato)iridium(III) complexes, e.g. IrHClL2[{(MeO)2-PO}2H] and IrHCl(PMe2Ph)3[PO(OMe)2]. Addition of triphenylphosphine to a solution containing [IrCl(C8H14)2]2 and dimethylphosphite in a 1:2 mol ratio gives a five-coordinate hydrido (dimethylphosphonato)iridium(III) complex IrHCl(PPh3)2{PO(OMe)2}, from which six-coordinate pyridine and acetylacetonato complexes IrHCl(PPh3)2(C5H5N){PO(OMe)2} and IrH(PPh3)2(acac){PO(OMe)2} can be obtained. Understanding the interaction of chiral ligands, alkynes, and alkenes with cobaltcarbonyl sources is critical to learning more about the mechanism of the catalytic, asymmetric Pauson-Khand reaction. We have successfully characterized complexes of the type [Co2(alkyne)(binap)(CO)4] (BINAP=(1,1'-binaphthalene)-2,2'-diylbis(diphenylphosphine)) and shown that diastereomer interconversion occurs under Pauson-Khand reaction conditions when alkyne=HC[triple bond]CCO2Me. Attempts to isolate [Co2(alkyne)(binap)(CO)x] complexes with coordinated alkenes led to the formation of cobaltacyclopentadiene species.  相似文献
