The proton yields from the 25Mg(e, p) reaction have been measured for Ep > 3 MeV, at θ = 90°, using an enriched 25Mg sample in the electron energy range 15–28 MeV. Partial photoproton cross sections to the ground and excited states in 24Na have been deduced and a lower limit is placed on the 25Mg(γ, np) cross section. The derived photoproton cross section combined with existing photoneutron data allows the 25Mg absorption cross section to be estimated. Configuration splitting of the 25Mg GDR is confirmed, and the effects of isospin splitting are considered.  相似文献

The cross sections for the production of 7Be, 22Na, 24Na, 28Mg, 38S, 38Cl, and 39Cl nuclei from 112Sn, 118Sn, 120Sn, and 124Sn targets irradiated with 0.6-, 1.0-, and 8.1-GeV protons were measured by the method of induced activity. In analyzing resulting data, it was established that the above nuclei are produced in the fragmentation process and that the reaction cross section is a power-law function of the mass and charge numbers of fragmentation products. A strong dependence of the reaction cross section on the nucleonic composition of the targets and of the products is observed. The measured cross sections, together with data available in the literature, are discussed within various assumptions.  相似文献

Elastic scattering differential cross sections for the interaction of 100 MeV protons with 24Mg and 28Si have been measured using a high-resolution Ge(Li) spectrometer to resolve the inelastic scattering contribution to the elastic peak. The results have been analysed using the conventional optical model, and the experimental differential cross sections and total reaction cross section are excellently reproduced. The results agree with previous analyses of the elastic scattering of 100 MeV protons on 1p shell nuclei in that no set of geometric parameters can provide a quantitative fit to both nuclei. It is observed, however, that the fluctuations of the optical-model parameters for optimum fits are decreased over the fluctuations observed for the 1p shell nuclei. The present results combined with previous optical-model analyses on 24Mg and 28Si at 50 MeV and 40 MeV respectively, are found to be consistent with an energy dependence of dV/dE ≈ −0.3 for the depth of the real central potential in agreement with other, more extensive, investigations of the energy dependence for protons elastically scattered from 16O and 40Ca.  相似文献

Fusion cross sections are extracted for the 7Li$ + $28Si system, via reaction cross section and transfer measurements at sub- and near-barrier energies ( E lab = 5.7 to 14MeV). The energy evolution of transfer to reaction cross section ratios is determined with the aid of CDCC calculations, which subsequently allows the deduction of fusion cross sections at sub- and near-barrier energies. It is shown that fusion can be well represented in a BPM context. Fusion cross sections are compared for the systems 7Li$ + $28Si and 6Li$ + $28Si, the latter studied previously, and are found to exhibit different strengths. Last, the direct channels determined at 13MeV, are found to be dominated by a 2n -transfer mechanism.  相似文献

Alpha-gamma angular correlations have been measured for the reaction 24Mg(α, α'γ) in the energy range 15.50 to 17.00 MeV in steps of 300 keV and for 28Si(α, α'γ) from 15.00 to 16.20 MeV in steps of 200 keV to provide energy averaged results. The scattered α-particles were detected for lab angles θα = 115°–178° in a multidetector arrangement. The coincident γ-rays were observed with a Ge(Li) detector placed at 90° in the reaction plane. Data were obtained for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd excited states of 24Mg and for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th excited states of 28Si. The absolute doubledifferential cross sections were analysed with Hauser-Feshbach calculations. The analyses show that compound nuclear processes are responsible for the rise of backward α-scattering in 24Mg(α, α'γ)24Mg and 28Si(α, α'γ)28Si at the energy studied.  相似文献

The elastic and inelastic α-scattering cross section has been measured for the nuclei26Mg,28,30Si at 15 bombarding energies between 15.0 and 16.4 MeV. The energy averaged scattering cross sections can be described by an incoherent sum of contributions from direct and compound reactions. The direct reaction part has been calculated by the optical model or DWBA, the compound reaction part by a simple Hauser-Feshbach formula. From the analyses deformation parameters and spin cut-off parameters are obtained.  相似文献

The nuclear wave functions for the first 2+ levels of 24Mg, 28Si and 58Ni obtained by diagonalizing an effective Hamiltonian in a large shell model basis are used to calculate 166 MeV α-particle inelastic scattering cross sections. The results are compared with experimental measurements. Good agreement is found for 24Mg and 28Si but the model wave function seems to be inadequate for describing 58Ni.  相似文献

Inelastic alpha particle scatterings to selected states in24Mg,28Si and40Ca are analysed. The transitions, all of which display anomalous structure in their differential cross sections at large scattering angles, are weakly, if at all, promoted by normal first order inelastic scattering reaction processes. To explain the anomalous structure, we utilize a two step reaction model in which the intermediate states are quasi-molecular. The energy variation of large angle scattering data shows that the quasi molecular intermediate states form a rotational band identical to that required to explain anomalous structure in the angular distributions of elastically scattered alpha particles.  相似文献

The 28Si(p, p′γ0 X)24Mg reaction has been studied at the ITEP accelerator by the hadron-gamma coincidence method for a proton energy of 1 GeV. Two reaction products are detected: a 1368.6-keV γ-ray photon accompanying the transition of the 24Mg* nucleus from the first excited state to the ground state and a proton p′ whose momentum is measured in a magnetic spectrometer. The measured distribution in the energy lost by the proton in interaction is attributed to five processes: the direct knockout of a nuclear α cluster, the knockout of four nucleons with a total charge number of 2, the formation of the ΔSi isobaric nucleus, the formation of the Δ isobar in the interaction of the incident proton with a nuclear nucleon, and the production of a π meson, which is at rest in the nuclear reference frame. The last process likely corresponds to the reaction of the formation of a deeply bound pion state in the 28P nucleus. Such states were previously observed only on heavy nuclei. The cross sections for the listed processes have been estimated.  相似文献

The results of a joint analysis of experimental data (angular distributions for scattering and total reaction cross sections) are presented for the case of the interaction of 6,7Li ions with 28Si nuclei at energies between 7.5 and 32 MeV. The respective calculations were performed on the basis of a deformed potential of the optical model by using the SPI-GENOA code. The energy dependences of the parameters of the macroscopic optical model and the total cross section for the (6,7Li+28Si) reactions were obtained over the energy interval from 7.5 to 32 MeV. The calculated angular distributions and total reaction cross sections are in good agreement with experimental data.  相似文献

Proton and neutron densities from Skyrme-Hartree-Fock calculations of a number of nuclei with masses ranging from 28 to 58 have been used to generate optical potentials for proton elastic scattering. Those potentials, generated by folding the structure functions with effective in-medium nucleon-nucleon (NN) interactions, have been used to evaluate proton total reaction cross sections; cross sections that reveal signatures of the structures.  相似文献

We report on the first spectroscopy study of the very neutron-rich nucleus (36)(12)Mg24 using the direct two-proton knockout reaction 9Be(38Si,36Mg+gamma)X at 83 MeV/nucleon. The energy of the first excited 2+ state of 36Mg, E(2+(1)=660(6) keV, was measured. The magnitude of the partial cross sections to the ground state and the 2+(1) state is indicative of strong intruder admixtures in the lowest-lying states as suggested by Monte Carlo shell-model calculations.  相似文献

The 24Mg(α, α')24Mg reaction to the 1.37 MeV state has been studied over an α-energy range of 9.625–13.825 MeV, in ≈40 keV steps, and over a 25°–160° angular interval. These cross sections have been analysed in terms of statistical theory and a number of deviations from its predictions are found. These deviations point to the importance of non-statistical processes, such as intermediate structure, to the α-scattering. The average compound nuclear width o1 62±7 keV is found for 28Si over the 18–22 MeV excitation.  相似文献

The differential cross sections of the dissipative products B, C, N, O, F, Ne, Na and Mg induced from the reactions of 19F+27Al at two incident energies have been measured at the HI-13 tandem accelerator, Beijing. In the case of a fixed beam incident energy 114MeV or 118.75MeV respectively, identical reaction system and the same detection system, 20 target points in steps of 2mm on a 10mm×50mm rectangular Al foil have been bombarded. The experimental results indicate that the probability distribution of the cross sections is much wider than a standard Gaussian distribution. This non-reproducibility of the cross sections can't be interpreted by the statistical property of a finite count rate.  相似文献

The yields of neutrons from the reaction 25Mg(α, n)28Si and of γ-rays from the reaction 25Mg(α, nγ)28Si have been measured as a function of bombarding energy over the range 1.8–6.3 MeV, and the yield of neutrons from 26Mg(α, n)29Si has been measured over the range 1.8–6.0 MeV. Cross sections for 25, 26Mg(α, n)28, 29Si were extracted from the data and compared with global statistical-model calculations. The agreement is very good. Thermonuclear reaction rates under stellar conditions appropriate for explosive neon burning are calculated and their significance for the nucleosynthesis of rare neutron-rich nuclei is discussed.  相似文献

采用同位旋相关的Boltzmann—Langevin方程计算了核素^12-15N和^17-20Ne反应中轻带电粒子发射的同位旋效应。^12-15N与^28Si靶的反应结果显示轻带电粒子的产生截面有明显的同位旋效应,^12N的轻带电粒子产生截面突然增大,与实验得出的结论相同,由此检验了所采用的计算方法的可行性。同时还计算了^17-20Ne与^9Be靶的反应,发现^17Ne的轻带电粒子产生截面也是突然增大,并且其质子分布有较大的弥散,据此认为^17Ne可能具有晕结构。 Within the Boltzmann-Langevin equation, the isospin effects on the production cross sections of light charged particles (LCP) in the reaction of proton rich nuclei were studied. We have calculated the LCP productio n cross sections of the reaction ^12-15N + ^28Si at 55 MeV/u and ^17-20Ne + ^9Be at 60 MeV/u. The LCP production cross sections of ^12N increase abnormally in comparison with those of ^13-15N. The result accorded with experimental one. It also happened to ^17-20Ne. It suggests that ^17Ne is probably a proton halo nucleus.  相似文献

The results from measuring the angular dependence of differential α-scattering cross sections on 24Mg with final nucleus formation in the ground and three lower excited states are presented, along with the double differential 24Mg(α, αγ)24Mg(2+, 1.369 MeV) reaction cross sections at E α = 30.3 MeV. The spin-tensor components of the density matrix of the 24Mg nucleus in the 2+(1.369 MeV) state are reconstructed and its orientation characteristics are determined. The experimental results are compared to theoretical results under the assumption of collective excitation and mechanisms for compound nucleus formation.  相似文献
