The palladium(0)-catalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling reactions of the bis(triflates) of 1,3- and 1,4-dihydroxythioxanthone afforded various aryl-substituted thioxanthones. While the Suzuki reactions of the bis(triflate) derived from 1,3-dihydroxythioxanthone proceeded by site-selective attack in favor of position 3, the reactions of the bis(triflate) of 1,4-dihydroxythioxanthone proceeded in favor of position 1. The site-selectivity is controlled by steric and electronic parameters.  相似文献

Arylated coumarins were prepared by site-selective Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction of the bis(triflate) of 4,7-dihydroxycoumarin. The reactions proceeded by initial attack to the sterically more hindered position, due to electronic reasons.  相似文献

The Suzuki-Miyaura reaction of methyl-5-bromo-8-(tosyloxy)-1,6-naphthyridine-7-carboxylate(5),with 2 equiv. of arylboronic acids gave diarylated product, 5,8–diaryl-1,6-naphthyridine-7-carboxylate(7), whereas 1 equiv. of arylboronic acid resulted in site-selective formation of 5-aryl-8-(tosyloxy)-1,6-naphthyridine-7-carboxylate(8). The reactions proceeded with excellent chemo-selectivity in favor of the bromide group. Likewise, one-pot reaction with completely different boronic acids by sequential addition produced 1,6-naphthyridine-7-carboxylates,(10) containing two different aryl groups at 5 and 8 positions.  相似文献

Efficient synthesis of honokiol (1) was accomplished using two kinds of Suzuki–Miyaura reactions. The first Suzuki–Miyaura reaction was employed to couple 2-bromophenol (6) with 4-hydroxyphenylboronic acid (5), giving rise to biphenol 4, and the second coupling was used to introduce allyl groups at 5- and 3′-positions of honokiol. The total synthesis of 1 was completed in 74% yield over five steps from 6, or in 83% yield over four steps from biphenol 4.  相似文献

The Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction was applied for the synthesis of biologically relevant derivatives of known mucolytic agents Bromhexine and Ambroxol. Batrachotoxin is an extremely potent cardio- and neurotoxic steroidal alkaloid found in certain species of frogs, birds, and beetles. The steroidal 6/6/6/5-membered carbocycle (ABCD-ring) is U-shaped and functionalized with two double bonds, a six-membered C3-hemiacetal across the AB-ring, a seven-membered oxazepane on the CD-ring, and a dimethylpyrrolecarboxy group at the D-ring carbon chain. These structural features present an unusual and formidable synthetic challenge. Herein we report a total synthesis of batrachotoxin based on a newly devised convergent strategy through a 22-step sequence. Enantiopure AB-ring and D-ring fragments were prepared and subjected to a crucial C(sp2)−C(sp2) coupling reaction. Although both C(sp2) centers were sterically encumbered by proximal tetrasubstituted carbon atoms, Ag2O strongly promoted the Pd(PPh3)4-catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction at room temperature, thereby connecting the two fragments without damaging their preexisting functionalities. Subsequent treatment with t-BuOK induced Dieckmann condensation to cyclize the C-ring. The judiciously optimized functionalizations realized oxazepane formation, carbon chain extension, and pyrrole carboxylic acid condensation to deliver batrachotoxin.  相似文献

Arylated naphthalenes were prepared by Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of methyl 4-bromo-3-(trifluoromethylsulfonyloxy)-2-naphthoate. The reactions proceeded with very good chemoselectivity in favor of the triflate group, due to additive electronic ortho electronic effects.  相似文献

A simple and efficient synthesis of indanones, bearing a quaternary carbon centre, has been developed. The method features, in a one-pot process, the use of a multi-task palladium catalyst for the sequential Heck-reduction reactions, followed by a base-mediated cyclization–alkylation sequence. This methodology, called Heck-reduction–cyclization–alkylation (HRCA), is carried out under mild and simple experimental conditions with the use of inexpensive reagents. The mild conditions have been made possible by the use of diazonium salts that allow Heck couplings at moderate temperature (40 °C) under ligand-free conditions.  相似文献

Catalytic studies on the air- and moisture-stable triphenylphosphine (PPh3) adducts of heteroannular cyclopalladated ferrocenylimines [PdCl{C5H4FeC5H4CHRN=CHC4H3X}(Ph3P)] (R = H, CH3; X = S, O) indicate that they are all effective catalysts for the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction of activated aryl bromides with phenylboronic acid in water under air atmosphere. Typically, using 1 mol‰ of catalyst in the presence of 1.2 equivalents of K3PO4 as base in water at 100 °C provided the corresponding biaryls in good to excellent yields. Meanwhile, the structure of [PdCl{C5H4FeC5H4CH(CH3)N=CHC4H3S}(PPh3)] has been established by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique. According to the crystal structure, the palladium atom is bound to the unsubstituted Cp ring, showing the four-coordinate structure typical of palladium complexes. The phosphazane derivatives(L1–3) were readily obtained by reaction of different ratios of PCl3 and PhNH2. The L1–3 derivatives were found to be efficient ligands in the palladium-catalyzed Suzuki C–C coupling reactions in water. It was determined that with the use of L1–3 /Pd(OAc)2 system as a catalyst, aryl halides undergo Suzuki cross-couplings with arylboronic acids to give the desired products in moderate to excellent yields.  相似文献

Catalytic asymmetric Diels–Alder reactions of N-allenoyloxazolidinones were investigated. Various chiral metal–bis(oxazoline) and metal–pyridinebis(oxazoline) complexes were screened. Cu(SbF6)2(H2O)2(t-BuBox) was found to be the most effective catalyst, giving the product in high yield, enantioselectivity, and endo:exo selectivity. The relative reactivity between N-allenoyloxazolidinones and N-alkenoyloxazolidinones was also investigated. A model for stereoinduction was proposed to account for the enantioselectivity and endo:exo selectivity.  相似文献

Porous aromatic frameworks (PAFs) with robust structure, high stability, and high surface area have attracted intense interest from scientists in diverse fields. However, there are still very few reports on the adsorption of organic dyes by PAFs. In this work, four new PAFs have been facilely synthesized by the polymerization of a tetrahedral-shaped (four-node) monomer with a series of three-node monomers through Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions. All the obtained materials possess hierarchical porous structures and show high thermal and chemical stability. The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface areas of these PAFs were determined to be 857 m2 g−1 for PAF-111 , 526 m2 g−1 for PAF-112A , 725 m2 g−1 for PAF-112B , and 598 m2 g−1 for PAF-113 . Rhodamine B was selected as a model organic dye to test the adsorption capacities of the obtained PAF materials. PAF-111 showed a maximum adsorption capacity of 1666 mg g−1 (167 wt %) for Rhodamine B, which is among the highest values reported to date for porous organic materials. It is noteworthy that PAF-111 could be reused in at least ten cycles under the adsorption conditions without any loss of adsorption capacity. Our study has revealed the great potential and advantages of PAFs as ultrastable adsorption materials for the removal of organic dyes.  相似文献

A theoretical study on the mechanism of conversion of 3-bromo-4-methylbenzonitrile into 4-methyl-3-phenylbenzo-nitrile in the course of the Suzuki–Miyaura and Hiyama−Denmark cross-coupling reactions has been performed at Cam-B3LYP-D3 level of theory. With the use of Pd–NHC type complex as the catalyst, the Hiyama−Denmark cross-coupling is best suited for this process from both thermodynamic and kinetic aspects.  相似文献

An efficient synthesis of 2-aryl/heteroaryl substituted pyrimidinyl ethanones 4(at) was developed using a palladium-catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction strategy. Bridged N,N′-substituted bisbenzimidazolium bromide salts (L1, L2, and L3) were synthesized and fully characterized. Reactions of palladium acetate with L1, L2, and L3 afforded corresponding new bridged bis(N-heterocyclic carbene)palladium(II) complexes (C1, C2, and C3) in high yields. The X-ray structure of complex C1 showed that the Pd(II) ion is bonded to the two carbon atoms of the bis(N-heterocyclic carbene) and two bromido ligands are in the cis position, resulting in a distorted square planar geometry. The three Pd(NHC)2Br2 complexes C1, C2, and C3 were evaluated in carbonylative Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of aryl boronic acids with aryl halides and displayed high catalytic activity with low catalyst loading. The coupling reactions of aryl bromides were selective towards the carbonylation product at higher carbon monoxide pressure.  相似文献
