Fluent环境中近壁面微空泡溃灭的仿真计算   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
基于FLUENT软件环境,采用VOF模型和非稳态方法求解Navier-Stokes方程,模拟了近壁面的空泡溃灭过程,同时计算了空泡溃灭处与壁面的距离对射流强度的影响.结果表明:在近壁面,空泡将形成非对称溃灭,因水锤作用,引发高速水射流在壁面产生高压而形成空蚀破坏;基于FLUENT环境的计算结果与已有的实验和计算结果相符,为研究空泡溃灭和空蚀机制提供了类比的数值计算方法.  相似文献

A numerical method is implemented for simulating the simultaneous three-dimensional volume and shape oscillations of a compressible vapor or gas bubble suspended in an inviscid ambient fluid in the presence of interfacial tension. The flow generated by the bubble expansion, contraction, and deformation is represented by an interfacial distribution of potential dipoles supplemented by a point source situated inside the bubble, accounting for changes in the bubble volume. The mathematical formulation is completed by setting the strength of the point source proportional to the integral of the density of the double-layer potential over the interface. The motion of marker points distributed over the interface is computed using a boundary-element implementation of Baker's generalized vortex method in which the normal component of the interfacial velocity is computed in terms of tangential derivatives of the vector potential associated with the dipoles, whereas the tangential component of the interfacial velocity is computed in terms of the surface gradient of the scalar harmonic potential. The density of the double-layer distribution is computed by solving an integral equation of the second kind using an iterative method, while the evolution of the interfacial distribution of the harmonic potential is computed using Bernoulli's equation for irrotational flow. The onset of interfacial irregularities due to numerical instabilities is prevented by truncating the Fourier–Legendre spectrum of the interfacial distribution of the harmonic potential. With smoothing implemented, the numerical method is capable of describing simultaneous volume and shape oscillations for an indefinite period of time. The encounter of bubble pairs of O(1 mm) in both pure water and aqueous surfactant solutions was studied experimentally. In pure water, two equally sized bubbles were found to coalesce if the Weber number, W = V2 R/, based on the velocity of approach, V, was below a critical value, Wcr = 0.18, where and are the density and surface tension of the liquid respectively and R the equivalent radius of the bubbles. After coalescence bubbles perform volume and shape oscillations.When Wcr is exceeded, bubbles bounce. After bouncing, bubbles can either coalesce or separate without coalescing. This was found to depend on the Weber number, based on the rise velocity U, We = U2 R/. If this number was below a critical value, bubbles coalesced after bouncing. The relative motion of the bubbles was found to be damped out by acoustic damping due to surface oscillations rather then by viscosity.If We was above a critical value, which was close to that for path instability of a single bubble (We = 3.3), the bubbles separated after bouncing. This is probably caused by shedding of vortices which dominate the relative motion of the bubbles. This mechanism may cause bubbles in bubbly flows not aggregating in horizontal planes, as was found in calculations based on potential flow theory. For modelling bubbly flows it will therefore be essential to incorporate the influence of vorticity.When surfactants are added to the water it was found that bubbles are prevented to coalesce above a critical concentration, which is nearly identical to that of single rising bubbles. Above this critical concentration, bubbles behave as rigid spheres and trajectories cannot be predicted by potential flow theory.  相似文献

Turbulent flow over a sinusoidal solid wavy surface was investigated by a direct numerical simulation using a spectral element technique. The train of waves has an amplitude to wavelength ratio of 0.05. For the flow conditions (Re=hU b/2ν= 3460) considered, adverse pressure gradients were large enough to cause flow separation. Numerical results compare favorably with those of Hudson's (1993) measurements. Instantaneous flow fields show a large variation of the flow pattern in the spanwise direction in the separated bubble at a given time. A surprising result is the discovery of occasional velocity bursts which originate in the separated region and extend over large distances away from the wavy wall. Turbulence in this region is very different from that near a flat wall in that it is associated with a shear layer which is formed by flow separation. 根据强夯处理高填方时土体存在局部大变形的特点,运用非线性有限元理论,导出弹塑性大变形有限元动力平衡方程,对高填方强夯处理进行数值模拟,得到夯坑形状、土体应力变化及塑性区演化等结果.研究表明,采用弹塑性大变形有限元动力分析方法模拟高填方的强夯处理过程是可行的,其力学分析与传统方法相比更加精细,模型更加符合强夯加固的实际特征,数值模拟结果与现场试验吻合较好,对强夯加固机理研究和工程实践具有较高的参考价值.  相似文献

The Evolution of a Gas Bubble Near an Inclined Wall   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
The nonlinear dynamics of a gas bubble close to an inclined wall is investigated numerically. The fluid is assumed to be inviscid and incompressible and the flow irrotational. A time-integration boundary integral method is used to solve the Laplace equation for the velocity potential to calculate the shape and position of the bubble. Improvements to the previous research on this subject have been made in the surface triangulation of the initial spherical bubble, the integration of the influence coefficients, the calculations of the normal vector and tangential velocity vector at a node, the time integration scheme, etc. Comparisons have been carried out between the results of the present three-dimensional model and the results of a validated axis-symmetrical bubble code (Wang et al., 1996a,b, 1998) for axis-symmetrical cases. The comparisons demonstrate the robustness and accuracy of the present method. Simulations have been carried out for a gas bubble initiated at 3.0R m, 2.0R m, and 1.0R m (R m being defined as the maximum radius of the bubble) from an inclined wall with various buoyancy parameters and wall angles. All the simulations are performed at high resolution and without numerical instabilities occurring nearly up until the re-entrant jet impacts on the opposite bubble surface. The following qualitative features have been observed. When a bubble is initiated at $3.0R_{\rm m}$ or more away from an inclined wall, the jet is roughly symmetric; the jet direction is roughly the same as that of the motion of the bubble centroid, which can be approximately predicted by the Kelvin impulse theory. When a bubble is initiated around 2.0R m from a wall, the jet is obviously asymmetric and inclined upwards; the Kelvin impulse theory can only be used to predict the location where the jetting occurs, but it can no longer be used to predict the jet direction. When a bubble is initiated at 1.0R m or less near an inclined wall and the buoyancy and Bjerknes attraction are comparable, the jet is roughly in the upward direction. 固体壁面由于表面特殊结构和材料属性,时常表现出对交界面上水体的吸附作用,而这一特征对微小水体作用尤为明显。本文提出了一种湿润性固壁边界条件的计算方法,即假设壁面粒子的亲水性以及毛细吸附作用统一表现为对支持域内流体粒子的吸附力。基于光滑粒子流体动力学(SPH)方法,模拟了静态液滴在不同湿润性壁面上的变形至稳定过程。模拟了液滴撞击疏水壁面的过程,将液滴的运动过程分为碰撞、铺展、回缩和回弹四个阶段,分析各阶段壁面受力分布情况。研究表明:根据模拟液滴静态接触角的变化特点,本文湿润性固壁边界条件可以较好的反映出壁面湿润性;液滴撞击输水表面的模拟数据与试验结果趋势上吻合良好;壁面压力波伴随着液滴的铺展和回缩传播并衰减;只有在回弹后期液滴即将脱离壁面时壁面拉力起主导作用,其余各时刻壁面均以压力为主。  相似文献

通过数值仿真计算,模拟近壁面以及附壁面气泡在静止流场和高速水流中的溃灭过程,研究气蚀作用机理.结果表明:气泡与壁面的距离和水流的速度影响其溃灭时间;附壁面气泡在高速水流中完全溃灭的时间最短,而在静止流场中最长,远离壁面将增加气泡的不稳定性;当气泡距离壁面一定距离溃灭时,射流不能直接作用于壁面,壁面承受冲击波的最大压力远小于气泡溃灭中心的压力;当气泡溃灭中心在壁面时,射流直接作用于壁面产生微小而严重的点破坏,而冲击波则使材料产生交变应力,造成环形破坏;当气泡在高速水流中溃灭时将产生逆流斜向射流,这可能是水力机械过流部件产生鱼鳞坑和波纹状破坏的主要原因.  相似文献

在交错网格中用MAC方法求解二维不可压N S方程 ,对圆截面液柱与固壁、液面斜撞击问题进行了数值模拟 ,得到了自由面随时间演化的图像。主要考察了 :(1)固壁和液面 ;(2 )牛顿、非牛顿流体 ;(3)碰撞入射角 ;(4 )Bingham流体近似本构式中参数q0 、K对计算结果的影响。结果表明 :液柱与液面碰撞形成的自由面更复杂。碰撞初期 ,Bingham流体和水的自由面相似 ;但碰撞后期 ,Bingham流体的自由面相对简单。对液柱与液面碰撞自由面的影响较大。本文条件下 ,当K 2 0时 ,K对自由面的影响不大 ;当q0 增大时 ,自由面变得相对简单。  相似文献

根据物理实验的具体条件,应用基于RANS方程和VOF方法对堰流垂向二维流动进行了数值模拟.计算结果复演了堰流的四种典型流态,并与实验结果中水位、流速分布以及最大流速沿程分布相比较,表明数值模拟方法是可行的.以长江口青草沙水库主龙口施工过程为背景,在给定上下游不同水位差的情况下,对龙口垂向二维流动进行了数值模拟.给出了龙口大流速区的位置,比较了在不同龙口底槛高程的情况下龙口局部流场的变化特征.  相似文献

This paper describes the formulation of a quasi-1-D network model, referred to as the ‘bubble model’, and its application for simulating particle transport and filtration through a granular filter bed. The model comprises a series of homogeneous sites linked through bundles of cylindrical bonds that represent flow pathways through distributions of pores and pore throats. This model incorporates pore scale processes of particle sieving and infiltration are based on numerical simulations described in a companion paper. The modeling of infiltration is further refined based on detailed experimental observations and measurements of the filtration of a dilute suspension of acrylic particles through a column of glass beads reported by Yoon et al. (2005 Water Resour. Res., to appear). Their data distinguish (a) between the collection of particles on grain surfaces and at grain-to-grain contact points, and (b) between particles that are fully entrapped and those that are hindered (temporarily collected) and can later become detached. These effects are represented by two parameters that characterize the probability of attachment and are linked to the surface roughness of the grains; one that describes the minimum particle size that can be fully entrapped, and one that describes the detachment rate. These parameters can be readily calibrated from conventional measurements of effluent concentration and effluent particle size distribution. Detailed comparisons with the data reported by Yoon et al. show that the proposed bubble model is able to achieve reliable predictions of the spatial distribution of particles within the filter bed following phases of particle injection and washing.  相似文献

通过对典型的水平旋转内消能泄洪洞空腔环流的试验观测,研究了其壁面应力的变化规律。空腔环流的壁面压强在水平洞的起始段壁面压强急剧减小然后回升,具有过渡段的性质,沿程波状减小,符合对数变化规律,但不同的流态,对数律的参数的变化是不同的:内界面相对压强Po/Pwz。在淹沿流流态时,随(H-h)/h的变化率显著不同,在吸允流流态时却基本相同;壁面切应力沿z的变化规律为先急剧减小,随后缓慢减小至零,主要与环流特性有密切的关系。  相似文献

A fully coupled two-dimensional sub-critical and/or supercritical, free-surface flow numerical model is developed to calculate bed variations in alluvial channels. Vertically averaged free-surface flow equations in conjunction with sediment transport equation are numerically solved using an explicit finite-volume scheme in integral form. The capabilities of the proposed method are first demonstrated by analyzing supercritical flow in an expansion channel. Thereafter, one and two-dimensional applications referring to aggradation and scouring are reported. For each of these test cases, computed results compare satisfactorily with measurements as well as with other numerical solutions. The method is stable, reliable and accurate, although time consuming, handling a variety of sediment transport equations with rapid changes of sediment transport at the boundaries.  相似文献

基于RANS方程、VOF方法以及修正的Goring造波方法建立了模拟活塞式推波板运动的二维数值波浪水槽,实现了双孤立波直墙爬高的数值模拟.利用动边界技术模拟造波机推波板的运动,有效地实现了不同波峰间距双孤立波的造波方法.在验证单孤立波直墙爬高的基础上,模拟了不同相对波高、相对波峰间距的等波高双孤立波的直墙爬高过程,给出了波面、速度场及波动能量的变化规律.数值模拟结果表明:对于等波高的双孤立波,当入射波波高较大及两个波峰间距相对较小时,跟随在后孤立波的爬高放大系数小于先导孤立波的爬高放大系数;双孤立波在直墙爬高过程中,波动场的势能时间过程线呈现三峰形态,其中居中的最大势能峰值出现在第二个孤立波与经直墙反射后反向传播的第一个孤立波完全对撞的时刻.  相似文献
