Starting from a discrete spectral problem, a hierarchy of integrable lattice soliton equations is derived. It is shown that the hierarchy is completely integrable in the Liouville sense and possesses discrete bi-Hamiltonian structure. A new integrable symplectic map and finite-dimensional integrable systems are given by nonlinearization method. The binary Bargmann constraint gives rise to a Bäcklund transformation for the resulting integrable lattice equations. At last, conservation laws of the hierarchy are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, by introducing a new transformation, the bilinear form of the coupled integrable dispersionless (CID) equations is derived. It will be shown that this bilinear form is easier to perform the standard Hirota process. One-, two-, and three-soliton solutions are presented. In this paper, we extend a (2+2)-dimensional continuous zero curvature equation to (2+2)-dimensional discrete zero curvature equation, then a new (2+2)-dimensional cubic Volterra lattice hierarchy is obtained. Fhrthermore, the integrable coupling systems of the (2+2)-dimensional cubic Volterra lattice hierarchy and the generalized Toda lattice soliton equations are presented by using a Lie algebraic system sl(4).  相似文献

It is shown that the Kronecker product can be applied to construct a new integrable coupling system of soliton equation hierarchy in this paper. A direct application to the Burgers spectral problem leads to a novel soliton equation hierarchy of integrable coupling system. It indicates that the Kronecker product is an efficient and straightforward method to construct the integrable couplings.  相似文献

For specific choices of the coupling strength we proceed to analyze the nonlinear wave excitations arising in the model which are found to be dark, singular and periodic solitary wave profiles. Under investigation in this paper are two coupled integrable dispersionless (CID) equations modeling the dynamics of the current-fed string within an external magnetic field. Through a set of the dependent variable transformations, the bilinear forms for the CID equations are derived. Based on the Hirota method and symbolic computation, the analytic N-soliton solutions are presented. Infinitely many conservation laws for the CID equations are given through the known spectral problem. Propagation characteristics and interaction behaviors of the solitons are analyzed graphically.  相似文献

One of the basic problems about the inverse scattering transform for solving a completely integrable nonlinear evolutions equation is to demonstrate that the Jost solutions obtained from the inverse scattering equations of Cauchy integral satisfy the Lax equations. Such a basic problem still exists in the procedure of deriving the dark soliton solutions of the NLS equation in normal dispersion with non-vanishing boundary conditions through the inverse scattering transform. In this paper, a pair of Jost solutions with same analytic properties are composed to be a 2 × 2 matrix and then another pair are introduced to be its right inverse confirmed by the Liouville theorem. As they are both 2 × 2 matrices, the right inverse should be the left inverse too, based upon which it is not difficult to show that these Jost solutions satisfy both the first and second Lax equations. As a result of compatibility condition, the dark soliton solutions definitely satisfy the NLS equation in normal dispersion with non-vanishing boundary conditions.  相似文献

Some direct relations are given between soliton solutions of integrable hierarchies and thermodynamic quantities of the Coulomb plasmas on the plane. We find that certain soliton solutions of the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) and B-type KP (BKP) hierarchies describe 2D one- or two-component lattice plasmas at special boundary conditions and fixed temperatures. It is shown that different reductions of integrable hierarchies describe pure or dipole Coulomb gases on 1D submanifolds embedded in the 2D space.  相似文献

We take the compound KdV-Burgers equation as an example, and investigate numerically the chaotic behavior of the system with a periodic forcing. In this work, we study a new (2+1)-dimensional generalized breaking soliton equation which admits the Painleve property for one special set of parameters. We derive multiple soliton solutions, traveling wave solutions, and periodic solutions as well. We use the simplified Hirotas method and a variety of ansatze to achieve our goal.  相似文献
