The abstraction of the Lewis acid from [W(CO)(5)(PH(2)BH(2)NMe(3))] (1) by an excess of P(OMe(3))(3) leads to the quantitative formation of the first Lewis base stabilized monomeric parent compound of phosphanylborane [H(2)PBH(2)NMe(3)] 2. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations have shown a low energetic difference between the crystallographically determined antiperiplanar arrangement of the lone pair and the trimethylamine group relative to the P-B core and the synperiplanar conformation. Subsequent reactions with the main-group Lewis acid BH(3) as well as with an [Fe(CO)(4)] unit as a transition-metal Lewis acid led to the formation of [(BH(3))PH(2)BH(2)NMe(3)] (3), containing a central H(3)B-PH(2)-BH(2) unit, and [Fe(CO)(4)(PH(2)BH(2)NMe(3))] (4), respectively. In oxidation processes with O(2), Me(3)NO, elemental sulfur, and selenium, the boranylphosphine chalcogenides [H(2)P(Q)BH(2)NMe(3)] (Q = S 5 b; Se 5 c) as well as the novel boranyl phosphonic acid [(HO)(2)P(O)BH(2)NMe(3)] (6 a) are formed. All products have been characterized by spectroscopic as well as by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis.  相似文献

The halogenation of Lewis-acid/base-stabilised phosphanylboranes () and arsanylboranes () with CX(4) (X = Cl, Br) leads selectively to the substitution of both protons at the pentel atom and the new compounds [(CO)(5)W(X(2)PBH(2).NMe(3))] (: X = Cl, : X = Br) and [(CO)(5)W(X(2)AsBH(2).NMe(3))] (: X = Cl, : X = Br), respectively, are obtained. The new products were comprehensively characterised by spectroscopic methods and by X-ray crystallography. While compounds and show an antiperiplanar arrangement of the Lewis acid (W(CO)(5)) and the Lewis base (NMe(3)) in the solid state, a synclinal arrangement in and , respectively, was observed. Computational calculations of the optimised antiperiplanar and synclinal geometries of the compounds and in the gas phase slightly favour the antiperiplanar arrangement of the Lewis acid and the Lewis base for both compounds.  相似文献

Reaction of phosphaalkenes RP=C(NMe 2 ) 2 (R = t -Bu, Me 3 Si), featuring an inverse distribution of electron density about the P--C double bond, with Fischer carbene complexes [(CO) 5 M=C(OEt)Ar] (Ar=Ph, 2-MeC 6 H 4 , 2-MeOC 6 H 4 , M = Cr, W) afforded a mixture of complexes [(CO) 5 M{P(R)=C(NMe 2 ) 2 }] and [(CO) 5 M{P(R)=C(OEt)Ar}]. The treatment of phosphaalkene HP=C(NMe 2 ) 2 with compound [(CO) 5 W=C(OEt)(2-MeOC 6 H 4 )] gives rise to the formation of an ( E / Z )-mixture of [(CO) 5 W{P(CH(NMe 2 ) 2 )=C(OEt)(2-MeOC 6 H 4 )}].  相似文献

The reaction of the arylated Fischer carbene complexes [(CO)5M=C(OEt)Ar] (Ar=Ph; M = Cr, W; 2-MeC6H4; 2-MeOC6H; M = W) with the phosphaalkenes RP=C(NMe2), (R=tBu, SiMe3) afforded the novel phosphaalkene complexes [[RP=C(OEt)Ar]M(CO)5] in addition to the compounds [(RP=C(NMe2)2]M(CO)5]. Only in the case of the R = SiMe3 (E/Z) mixtures of the metathesis products were obtained. The bis(dimethylamino)methylene unit of the phosphaalkene precursor was incorporated in olefins of the type (Me2N)2C=C(OEt)(Ar). Treatment of [(CO)5W=C(OEt)(2-MeOC6H4)] with HP=C(NMe2)2 gave rise to the formation of an E/Z mixture of [[(Me2N)2CH-P=C(OEt)(2-MeOC6H4)]W(CO)5] the organophosphorus ligand of which formally results from a combination of the carbene ligand and the phosphanediyl [P-CH(NMe2)2]. The reactions reported here strongly depend on an inverse distribution of alpha-electron density in the phosphaalkene precursors (Pdelta Cdelta+), which renders these molecules powerfu] nucleophiles.  相似文献

Reaction of the diborane(4) B(2)(NMe(2))(2)I(2) with two equivalents of K[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))M(CO)(3)] (M=Cr, Mo, W) yielded the dinuclear boryloxycarbyne complexes [[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(2)M(triple bond)CO](2)B(2)(NMe(2))(2)] (4 a, M=Mo; b, M=W; c, M=Cr), which were fully characterised in solution by multinuclear NMR methods. The Mo and W complexes 4 a, b proved to be kinetically favoured products of this reaction and underwent quantitative rearrangement in solution to afford the complexes [[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(2)M(triple bond)CO]B(NMe(2))B(NMe(2))[M(CO)(3)(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))]] (5 a, M=Mo; b, M=W); 5 a was characterised by X-ray crystallography in the solid state. Corresponding reactions of B(2)(NMe(2))(2)I(2) with only one equivalent of K[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))M(CO)(3)] (M=Mo, W) initially afforded 1:1 mixtures of the boryloxycarbyne complexes 4 a, b and unconsumed B(2)(NMe(2))(2)I(2). This mixture, however, yielded finally the diborane(4)yl complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(3)M[B(NMe(2))B(NMe(2))I]] (6 a, M=Mo; b, M=W) by [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(OC)(3)M] transfer and rearrangement. Density functional calculations were carried out for 4 c and 5 a, b.  相似文献

The reinvestigation of an early synthesis of heterometallic cubane-type clusters has led to the isolation of a number of new clusters which have been characterized by spectroscopic and crystallographic techniques. The thermolysis of [(Cp*Mo)(2)B(4)H(4)E(2)] (1: E = S; 2: E = Se; Cp* = η(5)-C(5)Me(5)) in presence of [Fe(2)(CO)(9)] yielded cubane-type clusters [(Cp*Mo)(2)(μ(3)-E)(2)B(2)H(μ-H){Fe(CO)(2)}(2)Fe(CO)(3)], 4 and 5 (4: E = S; 5: E = Se) together with fused clusters [(Cp*Mo)(2)B(4)H(4)E(2)Fe(CO)(2)Fe(CO)(3)] (8: E = S; 9: E = Se). In a similar fashion, reaction of [(Cp*RuCO)(2)B(2)H(6)], 3, with [Fe(2)(CO)(9)] yielded [(Cp*Ru)(2)(μ(3)-CO)(2)B(2)H(μ-H){Fe(CO)(2)}(2)Fe(CO)(3)], 6, and an incomplete cubane cluster [(μ(3)-BH)(3)(Cp*Ru)(2){Fe(CO)(3)}(2)], 7. Clusters 4-6 can be described as heterometallic cubane clusters containing a Fe(CO)(3) moiety exo-bonded to the cubane, while 7 has an incomplete cubane [Ru(2)Fe(2)B(3)] core. The geometry of both compounds 8 and 9 consist of a bicapped octahedron [Mo(2)Fe(2)B(3)E] and a trigonal bipyramidal [Mo(2)B(2)E] core, fused through a common three vertex [Mo(2)B] triangular face. In addition, thermolysis of 3 with [Mn(2)(CO)(10)] permits the isolation of arachno-[(Cp*RuCO)(2)B(3)H(7)], 10. Cluster 10 constitutes a diruthenaborane analogue of 8-sep pentaborane(11) and has a structural isomeric relationship to 1,2-[{Cp*Ru}(2)(CO)(2)B(3)H(7)].  相似文献

A series of cationic T-shaped 14-electron boryl complexes of the type trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt{B(X)X'}](+) (X=Br; X'=ortho-tolyl, tBu, NMe(2), piperidyl, Br; XX'=(NMe(2))(2), catecholato) were synthesized by halide abstraction from trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br){B(X)X'}] (Cy=cyclohexyl) with Na[BAr(f) (4)] (Ar(f)=3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3)), K[B(C(6)F(5))(4)], or Na[BPh(4)]. X-ray diffraction studies were performed on all compounds, revealing a subtle correlation between the trans-influence of the boryl moiety and the Pt--H and Pt--C separations. However, no notable agostic C--H interaction with the platinum center was detected. trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(BCat)](+) (Cat=catecholato), the complex with the shortest Pt--H and Pt--C distances, was treated with Lewis bases (L), forming compounds of the type trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(L)(BCat)](+), thus proving a decisive influence of the degree of trans-influence exerted by the boryl ligands on the chemical reactivity of the title complexes. Another point that was investigated and clarified is the different behavior of trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br){B(Br)Mes}] (Mes=mesityl) towards K[B(C(6)F(5))(4)] with formation of the borylene species trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br)(BMes)](+).  相似文献

The chiral monodentate phosphine PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)] is readily obtained by oxidation of the lithium complex Li(2)[PhP(C(5)Me(4))(2)] with I(2), which couples the two cyclopentadienyl groups to form a five-membered heterocyclic ring. The steric and electronic properties of PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)] have been evaluated by X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopic studies on a variety of derivatives, including Ph[(C(5)Me(4))(2)]PE (E = S, Se), Cp*MCl(4)[P[(C(5)Me(4))(2)]Ph] (M = Mo, Ta), Ir[P[(C(5)Me(4))(2)]Ph](2)(CO)Cl, and CpFe(CO)[PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)]]Me. For comparison purposes, derivatives of the related phospholane ligand PhP[Me(2)C(4)H(6)] have also been investigated, including Ph[Me(2)C(4)H(6)]PS, Ir[Ph[Me(2)C(4)H(6)]](2)(CO)Cl, Ir[Ph[Me(2)C(4)H(6)]](2)(CO)Me, Ir[PPh[Me(2)C(4)H(6)]](COD)(Cl), and Pd[P[Me(2)C(4)H(6)]Ph][eta(2)-C(6)H(4)C(H)(Me)NMe(2)]Cl. The steric and electronic properties of PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)] are determined to be intermediate between those of PPh(2)Me and PPh(3). Thus, the crystallographic cone angles increase in the sequence PPh(2)Me (134.5 degrees) < PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)] (140.2 degrees) < PPh(3) (148.2 degrees), while the electron donating abilities decrease in the sequence PPh(2)Me > PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)] > PPh(3). Finally, PhP[(C(5)Me(4))(2)] has a smaller cone angle and is less electron donating than the structurally similar phosphine, PhP[Me(2)C(4)H(6)].  相似文献

The complexes [(eta5-RC5H4)Ru(CH3CN)3]PF6(R = H, CH3) react with DCVP (DCVP = Cy2PCH=CH2) at room temperature to produce the phosphaallyl complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6. Both compounds react with a variety of two-electron donor ligands displacing the coordinated vinyl moiety. In contrast, we failed to prepare the phosphaallyl complexes [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(eta1-DCVP)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6, [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(CO)(eta3-DCVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(CO)(eta3-DPVP)]PF6(DPVP = Ph2PCH=CH2).The compounds [(eta5-MeC5H4)Ru(CO)(CH3CN)(DPVP)]PF6 and [(eta5-C5Me5)Ru(CO)(CH3CN)(DPVP)]PF6 react with DMPP (3,4-dimethyl-1-phenylphosphole) to undergo [4 + 2] Diels-Alder cycloaddition reactions at elevated temperature. Attempts at ruthenium catalyzed hydration of phenylacetylene produced neither acetophenone nor phenylacetaldehyde but rather dimers and trimers of phenylacetylene. The structures of the complexes described herein have been deduced from elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, 1H, 13C{1H}, 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy and in several cases by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The novel bimetallic micro-diboranyl-oxycarbyne bridged platinum-tungsten complex [W{eta(1),micro-CO-B(NMe(2))-B(NMe(2))-(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))}(CO)(2){Pt(PPh(3))(2)}] (W-Pt) () has been synthesised by a two-step reaction, starting from the dilithiated half-sandwich compound Li[W(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)Li)(CO)(3)] () via the ansa-diboranyl-oxycarbyne tungsten complex [W{eta(1)-CO-B(NMe(2))B(NMe(2))(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))}(OC)(2)] () by use of stoichiometric amounts of B(2)(NMe(2))(2)Br(2) and [Pt(eta(2)-C(2)H(4))(PPh(3))(2)], respectively.  相似文献

The transmetalation reaction between [(η(7) -C(7) H(7) )ZrCl(tmeda)] (1; tmeda=N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) and various phospholide anions leads to a new class of mixed sandwich complexes: [(η(7)-C(7)H(7))Zr(η(5)-C(4)PMe(4))] (2), [(η(7)-C(7)H(7))Zr(η(5)-C(4)PH(2)Me(2))] (3) and [(η(7)-C(7)H(7))Zr(η(5)-C(4)PPhHMe(2))] (4). The presence of Lewis basic phosphorus atoms and Lewis acidic zirconium atoms allows ambiphilic behaviour to be observed, and X-ray diffraction analysis reveals dimeric arrangements for 2 and 3 with long intermolecular Zr-P bonds, whereas 4 remains monomeric in the solid state. DFT calculations indicate that the metal-phosphorus interaction is weak, and accordingly, complexes 2-4 act as monodentate ligands upon reaction with [W(CO)(5)(thf)]. The resulting complexes [W(CO)(5)(L)] 5-7 (L=2-4) were studied by IR spectroscopy and compared with the [W(CO)(5) ] complex 9, containing the phosphane-functionalised trozircene [(η(7)-C(7)H(7))Zr(η(5)-C(5)H(4)PPh(2))] (8). They all show a close resemblance to simple phosphanes, such as PMe(3) , although molecular orbital analysis of 2 reveals that the free electron pair in the phosphatrozircenes is not the HOMO. Four equivalents of 2 can replace 1,4-cyclooctadiene (COD) in [Ni(cod)(2)] to form the homoleptic, distorted tetrahedral complex [Ni{2}(4)] (10).  相似文献

The cyclostibane R(4)Sb(4)(1)(R = 2-(Me(2)NCH(2))C(6)H(4)) was synthesized by reduction of RSbCl(2) with Mg in THF or with Na in liquid NH(3). The reaction of 1 with [W(CO)(5)(THF)] gives the stibinidene complex RSb[W(CO)(5)](2)(2). RSbCl(2) and (RSbCl)(2)E [E = O (6), E = S (8)] react with KOH or Na(2)S in toluene/water to give the heterocycles (RSbE)(n)[E = O, n= 3 (3); E = S, n= 2 (4)]. The chalcogeno-bridged compounds of the type (RSbCl)(2)E [E = O (6), E = S (8)] were synthesized by reaction of RSbCl(2) with KOH or Na(2)S in toluene/water, but also by reaction of RSbCl(2) with the heterocycles (RSbE)(n). The compounds (RSbI)(2)O (7) and (RSbBr)(2)S (9) were prepared via halogen-exchange reactions between (RSbCl)(2)E and NaI (E = O) or KBr (E = S) or by reactions between RSbI(2) and KOH or RSbBr(2) and Na(2)S. The reaction of cyclo-(RSbS)(2) with W(CO)(5)(THF) in THF results in trapping of the cis isomer in cyclo-(RSbS)(2)[W(CO)(5)](5). The solution behaviour of the compounds was investigated by (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of compounds 1-7 and 9 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The thermally unstable compound [Hg[P(C(6)F(5))(2)](2)] was obtained from the reaction of mercury cyanide and bis(pentafluorophenyl)phosphane in DMF solution and characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. The thermally stable trinuclear compounds [Hg[(mu-P(CF(3))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)] and [Hg[(mu-P(C(6)F(5))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)] are isolated and completely characterized. The higher order NMR spectra exhibiting multinuclear satellite systems have been sufficiently analyzed. [Hg[(mu-P(CF(3))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)].2DMF crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2366.2(3) pm, b = 1046.9(1) pm, c = 104.0(1) pm, and beta = 104.01(1) degrees. Structural, NMR spectroscopic, and vibrational data prove a weak coordination of the two DMF molecules. Structural, vibrational, and NMR spectroscopic evidence is given for a successive weakening of the pi back-bonding effect of the W-P bond in the order [W(CO)(5)PH(R(f))(2)], [Hg[(mu-P(R(f))(2))W(CO)(5)](2)], and [W[P(R(f))(2)](CO)(5)](-) with R(f) = C(6)F(5) and CF(3). The pi back-bonding effect of the W-C bonds increases vice versa.  相似文献

We investigated the influence of a substituent and a Lewis base on boron upon the thermodynamic stability of metal complexes of borane-Lewis base adducts, [M(CO)5(eta1-BH(2)R.L)] (M=Cr, W) and [CpMn(CO)2(eta1-BH2R.L)], where R=Cl, I, m-C6H4F, Ph, H, Me, Et; L=PMe3, PPh3, NMe3, quinuclidine. In these compounds, the stability of the metal-borane linkage was enhanced by increasing the electron-releasing ability of the substituent on boron. A stronger base L additionally stabilized the complexes. The strength of the borane-metal interaction is thus mainly ascribed to the electron donation from the BH sigma orbital to metal rather than the back-donation into the BH sigma* orbital. This result supports the bonding model for the B-H-M linkage in the borane complexes suggested by MO calculations, where the borane-to-metal electron donation is predominant while the metal back-donation into the BH sigma* orbital is negligible. Such a stability trend of the borane complexes makes a sharp contrast to that of many silane and dihydrogen complexes.  相似文献

A series of novel dinuclear tungsten(IV) oxo complexes with disubstituted 4,4'-R,R-2,2'-bipyridyl (R(2)bpy) ligands of the type [(Cp*W(R(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)][PF(6)](2) (R=NMe(2), tBu, Me, H, Cl) was prepared by hydrolysis of the tungsten(IV) trichloro complexes [Cp*W(R(2)bpy)Cl(3)]. Cyclic voltammetry measurements for the tungsten(IV) oxo compounds provided evidence for one reversible oxidation and two reversible reductions leading to the oxidation states W(V)W(IV), W(IV)W(III) and W(III)W(III). The corresponding complexes [(Cp*W(R(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)](n+) [PF(6)](n) (n=0 for R=Me, tBu, and 1, 3 for both R=Me) could be isolated after chemical oxidation/reduction of the tungsten(IV) oxo complexes. The crystal structures of the complexes [(Cp*W(R(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)][BPh(4)](2) (R=NMe(2), tBu) and [(Cp*W(Me(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)](n+)[PF(6)](n) (n=0, 1, 2, 3) show a cis geometry with a puckered W(2)O(2) four-membered ring for all compounds except [(Cp*W(Me(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)] which displays a trans geometry with a planar W(2)O(2) ring. Examining the interaction of these novel tungsten oxo complexes with protons, we were able to show that the W(IV)W(IV) complexes [(Cp*W(R(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)][PF(6) (-)](2) (R=NMe(2), tBu) undergo reversible protonation, while the W(III)W(III) complexes [(Cp*W(R(2)bpy)(mu-O))(2)] transfer two electrons forming the W(IV)W(IV) complex and molecular hydrogen.  相似文献

Metalladichalcogenolate cluster complexes [{CpCo(S2C6H4)}2Mo(CO)2] (Cp = eta(5)-C5H5) (3), [{CpCo(S2C6H4)}2W(CO)2] (4), [CpCo(S2C6H4)Fe(CO)3] (5), [CpCo(S2C6H4)Ru(CO)2(P(t)Bu3)] (6), [{CpCo(Se2C6H4)}2Mo(CO)2] (7), and [{CpCo(Se2C6H4)}(Se2C6H4)W(CO)2] (8) were synthesized by the reaction of [CpCo(E2C6H4)] (E = S, Se) with [M(CO)3(py)3] (M = Mo, W), [Fe(CO)5], or [Ru(CO)3(P(t)Bu3)2], and their crystal structures and physical properties were investigated. In the series of trinuclear group 6 metal-Co complexes, 3, 4, and 7 have similar structures, but the W-Se complex, 8, eliminates one cobalt atom and one cyclopentadienyl group from the sulfur analogue, 4, and does not satisfy the 18-electron rule. 1H NMR observation suggested that the CoW dinuclear complex 8 was generated via a trinuclear Co2W complex, with a structure comparable to 7. The trinuclear cluster complexes, 3, 4, and 7, undergo quasi-reversible two-step one-electron reduction, indicating the formation of mixed-valence complexes Co(III)M(0)Co(II) (M = Mo, W). The thermodynamic stability of the mixed-valence state increases in the order 4 < 3 < 7. In the dinuclear group 8 metal-Co complexes, 5 and 6, the CpCo(S2C6H4) moiety and the metal carbonyl moiety act as a Lewis acid character and a base character, respectively, as determined by their spectrochemical and redox properties. Complex 5 undergoes reversible two-step one-electron reduction, and an electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study indicates the stepwise reduction process from Co(III)Fe(0) to form Co(III)Fe(-I) and Co(II)Fe(-I).  相似文献

Various products of the reaction of [E(ddp)] (ddp=2-{(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)amino}-4-{(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imino}-2-pentene; E=Al, Ga) with Pt(0) and Pd(0) olefin complexes are reported. Thus, the reaction of [Pt(cod)(2)] (cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene) with two equivalents of [Ga(ddp)] yields [Pt(1,3-cod){Ga(ddp)}(2)] (1), whereas treatment of [Pd(2)(dvds)(3)] (dvds=1,1,3,3-tetramethyl1,3-divinyldisiloxane) with [E(ddp)] leads to the monomeric compounds [(dvds)Pd{E(ddp)}] (E=Ga (2 a), Al (2 b)) by substitution of the bridging dvds ligand. Both 1 and 2 a readily react with strong pi-acceptor ligands such as CO or tBuNC to give the dimeric compounds [M{mu(2)-Ga(ddp)}(L)] (L=CO, tBuNC; M=Pt (3 a, 5 a), Pd (3 b, 5 b)), respectively. Based on (1)H NMR spectroscopic data, [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(CO)] is likely to be an intermediate in the formation of 3 a. Furthermore, reactions of 1 with H(2) and HSiEt(3) yield the monomeric compounds [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(H)(2)] (7) and [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(H)(SiEt(3))] (8). Finally, the reaction of [Pt(cod)(2)] with one equivalent of [Ga(ddp)] in the presence of H(2) in hexane gives the new dimeric cluster [Pt{mu(2)-Ga(ddp)}(H)(2)](2) (9).  相似文献

Reaction of [WIr3(mu-CO)3(CO)8(eta-C5Me5)] (1c) with [W(C[triple bond]CPh)(CO)3(eta-C5H5)] afforded the edge-bridged tetrahedral cluster [W2Ir3(mu4-eta2-C2Ph)(mu-CO)(CO)9(eta-C5H5)(eta-C5Me5)] (3) and the edge-bridged trigonal-bipyramidal cluster [W3Ir3(mu4-eta2-C2Ph)(mu-eta2-C=CHPh)(Cl)(CO)8(eta-C5Me5)(eta-C5H5)2] (4) in poor to fair yield. Cluster 3 forms by insertion of [W(C[triple bond]CPh)(CO)3(eta-C5H5)] into Ir-Ir and W-Ir bonds, accompanied by a change in coordination mode from a terminally bonded alkynyl to a mu4-eta2 alkynyl ligand. Cluster 4 contains an alkynyl ligand interacting with two iridium atoms and two tungsten atoms in a mu4-eta2 fashion, as well as a vinylidene ligand bridging a W-W bond. Reaction of [WIr3(CO)11(eta-C5H5)] (1a) or 1c with [(eta-C5H5)(CO)2 Ru(C[triple bond]C)Ru(CO)2(eta-C5H5)] afforded [Ru2WIr3(mu5-eta2-C2)(mu-CO)3(CO)7(eta-C5H5)2(eta-C5R5)] [R = H (5a), Me (5c)] in low yield, a structural study of 5a revealing a WIr3 butterfly core capped and spiked by Ru atoms; the diruthenium ethyndiyl precursor has undergone Ru-C scission, with insertion of the C2 unit into a W-Ir bond of the cluster precursor. Reaction of [W2Ir2(CO)10(eta-C5H5)2] with the diruthenium ethyndiyl reagent gave [RuW2Ir2{mu4-eta2-(C2C[triple bond]C)Ru(CO)2(eta-C5H5)}(mu-CO)2(CO)6(eta-C5H5)3] (6) in low yield, a structural study of 6 revealing a butterfly W2Ir2 unit capped by a Ru(eta-C5H5) group resulting from Ru-C scission; the terminal C2 of a new ruthenium-bound butadiyndiyl ligand has been inserted into the W-Ir bond. Reaction between 1a, [WIr3(CO)11(eta-C5H4Me)] (1b), or 1c and [(eta-C5H5)(CO)3W(C[triple bond]CC[triple bond]C)W(CO)3(eta-C5H5)] afforded [W2Ir3{mu4-eta2-(C2C[triple bond]C)W(CO)3(eta-C5H5)}(mu-CO)2(CO)2(eta-C5H5)(eta-C5R5)] [R = H (7a), Me (7c); R5 = H4Me (7b)] in good yield, a structural study of 7c revealing it to be a metallaethynyl analogue of 3.  相似文献

The reagent Li(2)[7-NMe(3)-nido-7-CB(10)H(10)] reacts with [Mo(CO)(3)(NCMe)(3)] in THF-NCMe (THF = tetrahydrofuran) to give a molybdenacarborane intermediate which, upon oxidation by CH(2)[double bond]CHCH(2)Br or I(2) and then addition of [N(PPh(3))(2)]Cl, gives the salts [N(PPh(3))(2)][2,2,2-(CO)(3)-2-X-3-NMe(3)-closo-2,1-MoCB(10)H(10)] (X = Br (1) or I (2)). During the reaction, the cage-bound NMe(3) substituent is transferred from the cage-carbon atom to an adjacent cage-boron atom, a feature established spectroscopically in 1 and 2, and by X-ray diffraction studies on several of their derivatives. When [Rh(NCMe)(3)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))][BF(4)](2) is used as the oxidizing agent, the trimetallic compound [2,2,2-(CO)(3)-7-mu-H-2,7,11-[Rh(2)(mu-CO)(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(2)]-closo-2,1-MoCB(10)H(9)] (10) is formed, the NMe(3) group being lost. Reaction of 1 in CH(2)Cl(2) with Tl[PF(6)] in the presence of donor ligands L affords neutral zwitterionic compounds [2,2,2-(CO)(3)-2-L-3-NMe(3)-closo-2,1-MoCB(10)H(10)] for L = PPh(3) (4) or CNBu(t) (5), and [2-Bu(t)C[triple bond]CH-2,2-(CO)(2)-3-NMe(3)-closo-2,1-MoCB(10)H(10)] (6) when L = Bu(t)C[triple bond]CH. When 1 is treated with CNBu(t) and X(2), the metal center is oxidized, and in the products obtained, [2,2,2,2-(CNBu(t))(4)-2-Br-3-X-closo-2,1-MoCB(10)H(10)] (X = Br (7), I (8)), the B-NMe(3) bond is replaced by B-X. In contrast, treatment of 2 with I(2) and cyclo-1,4-S(2)(CH(2))(4) in CH(2)Cl(2) results in oxidative substitution of the cluster and retention of the NMe(3) group, giving [2,2,2-(CO)(3)-2-I-3-NMe(3)-6-[cyclo-1,4-S(2)(CH(2))(4)]-closo-2,1-MoCB(10)H(9)] (9). The unique structural features of the new compounds were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies upon 6, 7, 9 and 10.  相似文献

Exposure of the solid zwitterion [CoIII(eta 5-C5H4CO2H)(eta 5-C5H4CO2)] to hydrated vapours of volatile acids (HCl, CF3CO2H, HBF4) or bases (NH3, NMe3, NH2Me) quantitatively produces the corresponding salts; the heterogeneous reactions are fully reversible, as the acid or base molecules can be removed by thermal treatment, regenerating the starting material.  相似文献
