本文讨论完善和非完善的,纵向加肋和正交加肋圆柱壳在轴压作用下的屈曲和后屈曲性态.依据文[1]提供的圆柱薄壳屈曲的边界层理论及其分析方法,给出了加肋圆柱壳在轴压作用下的屈曲和后屈曲理论分析.本文同时讨论肋骨与壳板材料不同时对加肋圆柱壳屈曲和后屈曲性态的影响.  相似文献

基于壳体屈曲的边界层理论,本文给出有限长加筋圆柱壳在侧向外压和均布热荷载共同作用下的后屈曲分析。分析中同时考虑壳体非线性前屈曲变形,大挠度和初始几何缺陷的影响。肋条的处理采用“平均刚度”法。采用奇异摄动方法导得壳体屈曲载荷关系曲线和后屈曲平衡路径,并给出完善和非完善,纵向加筋或环向加筋圆柱壳数值算例。  相似文献

This paper presents an analytical investigation on the nonlinear response of thick functionally graded doubly curved shallow panels resting on elastic foundations and subjected to some conditions of mechanical, thermal, and thermomechanical loads. Material properties are assumed to be temperature independent, and graded in the thickness direction according to a simple power law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of constituents. The formulations are based on higher order shear deformation shell theory taking into account geometrical nonlinearity, initial geometrical imperfection and Pasternak type elastic foundation. By applying Galerkin method, explicit relations of load-deflection curves for simply supported curved panels are determined. Effects of material and geometrical properties, in-plane boundary restraint, foundation stiffness and imperfection on the buckling and postbuckling loading capacity of the panels are analyzed and discussed. The novelty of this study results from accounting for higher order transverse shear deformation and panel-foundation interaction in analyzing nonlinear stability of thick functionally graded cylindrical and spherical panels.  相似文献

本文用Koiter理论分析环肋加劲圆柱壳在静水压力作用下的后屈曲性能.前屈曲状态采用与边界条件一致的非线性有矩方程,本征值问题的解用伽辽金方法求出,得到的临界载荷与经典线性解作了比较.具体计算了三种不同环肋参数的外肋加劲圆柱壳.结果表明,肋的强弱不仅显著影响临界载荷值,同时也改变了柱壳的缺陷敏感度.  相似文献

A study is made of the buckling and postbuckling responses of flat, unstiffened composite panels subjected to various combinations of mechanical and thermal loads. The analysis is based on a first-order shear deformation von Karman-type plate theory. A mixed formulation is used with the fundamental unknowns consisting of the strain components, stress resultants and the generalized displacements of the plate. The stability boundary, postbuckling response and the sensitivity coefficients are evaluated. The sensitivity coefficients measure the sensitivity of the buckling and postbuckling responses to variations in the different lamination and material parameters of the panel. Numerical results are presented for both solid panels and panels with central circular cutouts. The results show the effects of the variations in the fiber orientation angles, aspect ratio of the panel, and the hole diameter (for panels with cutouts) on the stability boundary, postbuckling response and sensitivity coefficients.  相似文献

The nonlinear buckling and postbuckling of a shear-deformable anisotropic laminated cylindrical panel of finite length is investigated based on a boundary-layer theory for buckling. The layers of the panel are assumed to be linearly elastic. The governing equations are based on Reddy’s higher-order shear deformation theory of shells and include the von Karman-type kinematic nonlinearity and extension/twist, extension/flexure, and flexure/twist couplings. The nonlinear prebuckling deformations and the initial geometric imperfections of the panel are both taken into account. The postbuckling behavior of the panel under axial compression is analyzed. A singular perturbation technique is employed to determine its buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths. The numerical illustrations concern the postbuckling behavior of perfect and imperfect moderately thick anisotropic laminated cylindrical panels with different geometric parameters and stacking sequences. The new finding reveals that there arises a compressive stress along with an associate shear stress and twisting when a moderately thick anisotropic laminated cylindrical panel is subjected to axial compression.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the elastic buckling of stiffened cylindrical shells by rings and stringers made of functionally graded materials subjected to axial compression loading. The shell properties are assumed to vary continuously through the thickness direction. Fundamental relations, the equilibrium and stability equations are derived using the Sander’s assumption. Resulting equations are employed to obtain the closed-form solution for the critical buckling loads. The results show that the inhomogeneity parameter and geometry of shell significantly affect the critical buckling loads. A postbuckling analysis is presented for a shear-deformable anisotropic laminated cylindrical shell of finite length subjected to external pressure in thermal environments. The material properties are expressed as linear functions of temperature. The governing equations are based on Reddy’s higher-order shear-deformation shell theory with the von Karman-Donnell-type kinematic nonlinearity. The nonlinear prebuckling deformations and initial geometric imperfections of the shell are both taken into account. The boundary-layer theory of shell buckling, which includes the effects of nonlinear prebuckling deformations, large deflections in the postbuckling region, and the initial geometric imperfections of the shell, is extended to the case of shear-deformable anisotropic laminated cylindrical shells under lateral or hydrostatic pressure in thermal environments. The singular perturbation technique is employed to determine the interactive buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths. The results obtained show that the variation in temperature, layer setting, and the geometric parameters of such shells have a significant influence on their buckling load and postbuckling behavior. This study presents a unified model for the nonlocal response of nanobeams in buckling and postbuckling states. The formulation is suitable for the classical Euler–Bernoulli, first-order Timoshenko, and higher-order shear deformation beam theories. The small-scale effect is modeled according to the nonlocal elasticity theory of Eringen. The equations of equilibrium are obtained using the principle of virtual work. The stress resultants are developed taking into account the nonlocal effect. Analytical solutions for the critical buckling load and the amplitude of the static nonlinear response in the postbuckling state are obtained. It is found out that as the nonlocal parameter increases, the critical buckling load reduces and the amplitude of buckling increases. Numerical results showing variation of the critical buckling load and the amplitude of buckling with the nonlocal parameter and the length-to-height ratio for simply supported and clamped–clamped nanobeams are presented.  相似文献

The non-axisymmetric postbuckling behaviour of an elastic, shallow spherical dome, which is rigidly clamped along its contour and loaded with a uniform transverse pressure, is considered. The solution of the problem is constructed using the Rayleigh-Ritz method based on the Marguerre equations in which the displacements in the circumferential direction are approximated by a Fourier series, and the radial displacements by Bessel functions. The resulting system of non-linear algebraic equations is solved by prolongation methods. It is shown for the first time that a shell has postbuckling, non-axisymmetric equilibrium states with loads which are significantly less than the upper critical load as well as the loads corresponding to bifurcation points. It is suggested that, taking into account the forms of these equilibrium states as the initial inaccuracies of a spherical dome should enable one to model the spread in its experimentally obtained critical loads.  相似文献

The mechanical buckling and postbuckling behaviour of a delaminated panel under uniaxial compression is investigated using a semi-analytical geometrically nonlinear panel model. A Rayleigh-Ritz procedure based on trigonometric displacement functions is used in conjunction with minimum energy principles to ascertain the mechanical response of the panels. The model includes the effect of delamination propagation resulting from the buckling of the laminates utilizing a discrete cohesive zone model. With the model developed, a detailed assessment of the residual capacity of the panel is provided due to its capability of tracing the equilibrium paths far into the postbuckling range. A solution for the elastic and inelastic local buckling of flat rectangular plates with centerline boundary conditions subjected to non-uniform in-plane compression and shear stress is presented. The loaded edges are simply supported, the longitudinal edges may have any boundary conditions and the centerline is simply supported with a variable rotational stiffness. The Galerkin method, an effective method for solving differential equations, is applied to establish an eigenvalue problem. In order to obtain plate buckling coefficients, combined trigonometric and polynomial functions that satisfy the boundary conditions are used. The method is programmed, and several numerical examples including elastic and inelastic local buckling, are presented to illustrate the scope and efficacy of the procedure. The variation of buckling coefficients with aspect ratio is presented for various stress gradient ratios. The solution is applicable to stiffened plates and the flange of the I-shaped beams that are subjected to biaxial bending or combined flexure and torsion and shear stresses, and is important to estimate the reduction in elastic buckling capacity due to stress gradient.  相似文献
