An ion chromatography method is described for the simultaneous determination of anions (Cl, NO3, and SO42–) and cations (Na+, NH4+, K+, Mg2+, and Ca2+) using a single pump, a single eluent and a single detector. An anion-exchange column modified with chondroitin sulfate C facilitated the elution of the above three anions using 5 mM tartaric acid as the eluent in isocratic mode, whereas the same eluent facilitated the separation of the above five cations on a commercially-available cation-exchange column. The separation columns were connected in series via two six-port switching valves, so the required cation-exchange or anion-exchange separation could be carried out by selecting the appropriate positions for the switching valves. The separations were completed in 30 min.  相似文献

X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic data for a new Np(V) compound, namely, [NpO2{OC(NH2)2}5](NO3) (I) are presented. Crystals are monoclinic, space group P21, a = 11.142(2) Å, b = 7.6379(9) Å, c = 11.143(2) Å, = 108.9(1)°, Z = 2, V = 897.1(2) Å3. The neptunium atom has a typical pentagonal-bipyramidal environment with five oxygen atoms of the carbamide molecules in the equatorial plane. The nitrate ion is in the outer sphere. Carbamide is a strong molecular ligand with respect to Np(V) and hence, cation–cation bonds of the NpO2 + ions are not realized in structure I. The wave length of the ff transition in the electronic absorption spectra of crystalline complex I and Np(V) in a saturated carbamide solution is virtually the same and is equal to 991 nm.  相似文献

A simple and rapid microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) technique has been developed for the determination of water-soluble inorganic species (cations: Na+, NH4+, K+, Ca2+ and Mg2+ and anions: F, Cl, NO3, PO43– and SO42–) in airborne particulate matter. The analytes were extracted under different treatment conditions such as microwave power and extraction time. They were quantified using ion chromatography. The observed concentrations and recovery yields obtained under different conditions were compared. The results of a comparison between this MAE and sonication using NIST SRM 1648 are also given in this paper. The optimized MAE technique gave results in good agreement with the values obtained by the sonication. For some ions, for example Mg2+ and K+, recovery was low with both techniques. The results demonstrated that the optimized MAE is fast and efficient compared with conventional ultrasonic extraction. Urban airborne particles were collected and subjected to the MAE followed by the IC analysis to determine the relative proportions of different water-soluble inorganic species. The influence of anions ClO4 , NO3 , Cl, SO4 2–, and DDS (dodecyl sulfate) on the cyclic voltammetric response of polypyrrole-modified electrodes is studied. The change in the film composition is examined by electron probe microanalysis. It is established that essential changes in the shape of voltammograms take place during cycling if the anions are not sufficiently freely mobile in the polymer film and insertion of cations from the solution is necessary to guarantee electroneutrality of the system. Some differences between the mobility of Cl ions and ClO4 or NO3 ions are in good agreement with the results of semi-empirical quantum chemical calculations showing that the interaction of Cl and Br ions with pyrrole oligomers is stronger than that of NO3 or ClO4 ions. Nevertheless, it is established that the peak current determined from voltammograms increases linearly with the increase of the scan rate with very high correlation coefficient. It means that it is possible to describe the behavior of ClO4 , NO3 and Cl ions in the framework of the model of free ions. The redox behavior of the PPy films doped with anions of low mobility such as SO4 2– and DDS depends essentially on the nature of cations in the test solution. It is found that the mobility of cations increases in the row Li+ < Na+ < K+ < Cs+. The mobility of DDS ions in the PPy in ethanolic solution is significantly higher and their electrochemical properties are quite similar to PPy|Cl or NO3 film in aqueous solution.  相似文献

TcO 4 is reduced by thiourea /tu/ to Tc/III/ in 6N HCl. By capillar electrophoresis three different cations have been identified with electrophoretic mobilities of u=/4.3–4.8/x10–4 u=/3.2–3.8/x10–4, and u=/2.2–2.8/x10–4 cm2 v–1s–1. These species were assigned to complex cations [Tc/tu/6]3+, [Tc/tu/5Cl]2+, and [Tc/tu/4Cl2]+, respectively. [Tc/tu/6]3+ was identified by spectrophotometry according to recently published data. [Tc/tu/5Cl]2+ was isolated and chemically characterized. The formation of the monovalent cation [Tc/tu/5Cl2]+ was concluded from spectrophotometrical measurements.  相似文献

Experimental data are reported for the ion exchange equilibria of the binary systems UO 2 2+ –H+, UO 2 2+ –Na+ and Na+–H+, and of the ternary system UO 2 2+ –Na+–H+ on a strong acid cation exchange resin 001X7 at 25 °C. It is found that the equilibria for any pairs of ions are essentially the same in binary and ternary mixtures and that the prediction method proposed by our laboratory for SO 2 2– –Cl–NO 3 -201X7 strong base anion exchange resin system is also applicable to the ternary system studied in this paper. The predictions of the ternary system UO 2 2+ –Na+–H+ based solely on the binary data without using resin phase activity coefficients are consistent with the experimental data.  相似文献

Summary Kinetics of formation of [PdCl4]2– from [Pd(ox)2]2– and [Pd(mal)2]2– has been studies in aqueous acid media in the presence of an excess of chloride ion by stopped-flow spectrophotometry. Both the complexes undergo the transformation in two well separated consecutive steps. In 0.02–0.05 M acid with 0.2 M Cl, Pd(AA)2– dissociates leading to the formation of [Pd(AA)Cl2]2– (where AA =ox2– or mal2–), which in 0.1–0.6 M acid and 1 M Cl forms [PdCl4]2– in a relatively slow step. For both steps kabs=k0+k2[H+][Cl]. Activation parameters corresponding to k0 and k2 have been determined. Results indicate that [Pd(mal)2]2– is much more labile to substitution than [Pd(ox)2]2– and for both the lability is far greater than that of [Pd(bigH)2]2+ and [Pt(ox)2]2– reported earlier.  相似文献

The loss of X· radical from [M + Cu + X]+ ions (copper reduction) has been studied by the so called in-source fragmentation at higher cone voltage (M = crown ether molecule, X = counter ion, ClO4, NO3, Cl). The loss of X· has been found to be affected by the presence/lack of aromatic ring poor/rich in electrons. Namely, the loss of X· occurs with lower efficiency for the [NO2-B15C5 + Cu + X]+ ions than for the [B15C5 + Cu + X]+ ions, where NO2-B15C5 = 3-nitro-benzo-15-crown-5, B15C5 = benzo-15-crown-5. A reasonable explanation is that Anion-π interactions prevent the loss of X· from the [NO2-B15C5 + Cu + X]+ ions. The presence of the electron-withdrawing NO2 group causes the aromatic ring to be poor in electrons and thus its enhances its interactions with anions. For the ion containing the aromatic ring enriched in electrons, namely [NH2-B15C5 + Cu + ClO4]+ where NH2-B15C5 = 3-amino-benzo-15-crown-5, the opposite situation has been observed. Because of Anion-π repulsion the loss of X· radical proceeds more readily for [NH2-B15C5 + Cu + X]+ than for [B15C5 + Cu + X]+. Iron reduction has also been found to be affected by Anion-π interactions. Namely, the loss of CH3O· radical from the ion [B15C5 + Fe + NO3 + CH3O]+ proceeds more readily than from [NO2B15C5 + Fe + NO3 + CH3O]+.  相似文献

Summary A method has been suggested for the determination of small amounts of copper and of mixtures of copper and silver using filter paper impregnated with silver chloride and sodium carbonate. The method depends on competition between copper and silver ions to form complexes with cyanide added to the paper. The area of the spot produced by conversion of AgCl into Ag(CN)2 is measured by weight, and is inversely proportional to the amount of copper present, since the Cu(CN)4 3– complex is preferentially formed. The silver present is determined separately, and the amount of copper calculated.The determination is possible in the presence of Bi3+, C3+, Mn2+, Pb2+, K+, Na+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Mg2+, NH4 +, Al3+, Sn2+, Hg2+, Ag+, Fe2+, Fe3+, NO3 , SO4 2–, CO3 2–, CrO4 2–, Cl, Br, and SCN.The determination is impossible in the presence of I, I2, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2 2+, Co2+, or Ni2+.The method permits the determination of 4–30g of copper and 8–60g of silver with an accuracy of 2%.
Zusammenfassung Eine Methode zur Bestimmung kleiner Kupfermengen und von Kupfer-Silber-Gemischen mit Hilfe von Filtrierpapier wird vorgeschlagen, das mit Silberchlorid und Natriumcarbonat imprägniert ist. Sie beruht auf der Konkurrenz zwischen Kupfer und Silber bei der Komplexbildung mit Cyanid, das man auf das Papier aufbringt. Das Flächenausmaß des durch Komplexierung des Silbers gebildeten Fleckens wird gravimetrisch bestimmt. Es ist umgekehrt proportional zur Menge anwesenden Kupfers, da [Cu(CN)4]3– bevorzugt gebildet wird. Das Silber wird getrennt bestimmt und so die Kupfermenge berechnet.Die Bestimmung ist möglich in Gegenwart von Bi3+, Cr3+, Mn2+, Pb2+, K+, Na+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Mg2+, NH4 +, A13+, Sn2+, Hg2+, Ag+, Fe2+, Fe3+, NO3 , SO4 2–, CO3 2–, CrO4 2–, Cl, Br und SCN und nicht möglich in Gegenwart von J, J2, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2 2+, Co2+ oder Ni2+.4 bis 30g Kupfer sowie 8 bis 60g Silber können mit einer Genauigkeit von 2% bestimmt werden.

Résumé On propose une méthode pour doser de petites quantités de cuivre et de mélanges de cuivre et d'argent, à l'aide de papier-filtre imprégné de chlorure d'argent et de carbonate de sodium. La méthode dépend de l'effet compétitif entre les ions cuivre et argent pour former les complexes avec le cyanure déposé sur le papier. La surface de la tache formée en transformant le chlorure d'argent en Ag(CN)2 est mesurée par pesée et est inversement proportionnelle à la quantité de cuivre présent, puisque le complexe Cu(CN)4 3– se forme préférentiellement. L'argent présent est dosé séparément et la quantité de cuivre s'en déduit par calcul.Le dosage est possible en présence de Bi3+, Cr3+, Mn2+, Pb2+, K+, Na+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Mg2+, NH4 +, Al3+, Sc3+, Hg2+, Ag+, Fe2+, Fe3+, NO3 , SO4 2–, CO3 2–, CrO4 2–, Cl, Br et SCN.Le dosage est impossible en présence de I, I2 , Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+, Co2+ ou Ni2+. La méthode permet le dosage de 4 à 30g de cuivre et de 8 à 60g d'argent avec une précision de 2%.

Potentially bi- and tetra-dentateSchiff bases derived from salicylaldehyde react with hydrated uranyl salts to give complexes: UO2H2 LX 2, UO2H2 LX 2 and UO2(HL)2 X 2 [H2 L=N,N-propane-1,3-diylbis(salicylideneimine), H2 L=N,N-ethylenebis(salicylideneimine) and HL=N-phenylsalicylideneimine;X =Cl, Br, I, NO3 , ClO4 , and NCS]. Because of marked spectral similrities with the structurally known Ca(H2 L) (NO3)2, theSchiff bases are coordinated through the negatively charged phenolic oxygen atoms and not the nitrogen atoms of the azomethine groups which carry the protons transferred from phenolic groups on coordination. Halide, nitrate, perchlorate and thiocyanate groups are covalently bonded to the uranyl ion, resulting a 6-coordinated uranium ion in the halo and thiocyanato complexes and 8-coordinated in nitrato and perchlorato complexes.

Zusammenfassung Von Salizylaldehyd abgeleitete zwei- und vierzähnigeSchiff-Basen reagieren mit hydratisierten Uranylsalzen zu Komplexen folgenden Typs: UO2H2 LX 2, UO2H2 LX 2 und UO2(HL)2 X 2 [H2 L=N,N-Propan-1,3-diylbis(salicylidenimin), H2 L=N,N-Ethylen-bis(salicylidenimin) und HL=N-Phenylsalicylidenimin;X =Cl, Br, I, NO3 , ClO4 und NCS]. Auf Grund eindeutiger spektraler Ähnlichkeiten mit dem bekannten Ca(H2 L) (NO3)2 wird auf Koordination über die negativ geladenen phenolischen Sauerstoffatome (und nicht über die Azomethin-Stickstoffe) geschlossen. Die AnionenX sind kovalent an das Uranyl-Ion gebunden; damit ergibt sich ein hexakoordiniertes Uranyl-Ion für die Halogen- und Thiocyanat-Komplexe und Oktakoordination für die Nitrat- und Perchlorat-Komplexe.

Raman and infrared line parameters of Zn(NO3)2-H2O systems ranging from dilute solutions (25°C) to ionic liquids of low water content (75°C) are reported. At 25°C the solutions contain a very low concentration of inner sphere [Zn(ONO2)(H2O)5]+, outer sphere [Zn(H2O)6]2+[NO3], Zn(H2O) 6 2+ , and NO 3 (aq.). In the ionic liquids the ion triplet also exists. Manifestations of a change from the octahedral coordination of zinc to tetrahedral coordination when the water content is very low include the appearance of a 285 cm–1 band from the zinc nitrate bond and a shift to higher frequencies of the band from zinc-water.  相似文献

The following extraction systems have been studied: (Ce3++Eu3+) (NO3)-(EDTA, DCTA, DTPA)/TBP in n-alkane and (Ce3++Eu3+)(NO3)/DEHPA in n-alkane at concentration ratios as follows: [Ce3+]=trace –1 mol·dm–3, [Eu3+]=trace –0.1 mol·dm–3. [TBP]=(0.183–1.83) mol·dm–3, [DEHPA]=(5·10–3–0.1) mol·dm–3, [(H, Na)NO3]=(0.1–6) mol·dm–3, [Eu3+]: [EDTA, DCTA, DTPA]=11–110. The initial concentration of Eu3+ in aqueous phase in the extraction system containing a mixture of Ce3+ and Eu3+ was trace, 1% and 10% compared with the Ce3+ concentration. The distribution of the elements between the phases was observed radiometrically using141Ce,152Eu and154Eu. The results are documented by the distribution ratios DCe, DEu and separation factor =DEu/DCe as functions of variable parameters of the systems.  相似文献

Summary Two rain water samples were analyzed with respect to the determination of the species which are present at the given conditions. The parameters determined were: pH, Eh, electrolytical conductivity, concentration of anions (SO 4 2– , NO 3 , Cl, NO 2 , HCOO, CH3COO), of main cations (Na+, K+, NH 4 + , Mg2+, Ca2+), and of transition metals (V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn). The methods used were filtration and ultrafiltration, voltammetry, sorption on various sorbents and ion chromatography. Furthermore, Eh-pH-diagrams were taken into account and the partition of the species was calculated by means of stability constants. The transition elements species in the atmospheric aqueous solutions are discussed.  相似文献

The following reactions: NpO2++4 HCl ? Np4+ + 2 H2O + 12 Cl2 + 3Cl- NpO2++12 Cl2 ? NpO22+ +Cl- 2HCl+O2- ? H2O +Cl- have been examined quantitatively. The reactions were studied in fused LiCl-KCl sparged with gas mixtures of definite compositions. The concentrations of the diffrent neptunium species were measured by absorption spectrophotometry. The values of respective equilibrium constants are: K = (9.3±0.4)· 10-6 atm(-12); K1 = (2.3±0.1)·10-2 atm(-12); k = 103.8 1 mol-1 atm-1 The standard potential of the system NpO22+ / NpO2+ was determinedto be E0 = 0.220 V (vs.standard chlorine electrode).  相似文献

Summary Vanadyl sulfate, VOSO4, was characterized as the mobile phase for the ion exchange separation of Li+, Na+, NH 4 + , and K+ using indirect photometric detection at 254 nm. Detection limits ranged from 0.2 ppm for Li+ to 1 ppm for K+. Indirect electrochemical detection of these separated cations by reduction of VO (II) to V3+ was compared to spectrophotometric detection. The potential of the vanadate species, HVO 4 2– , for the separation of F, Cl, and SO 4 2– , with indirect photometric detection was also demonstrated.  相似文献

The photoreduction of trans-[Co(NH3)4Cl2]+, trans-[Co(en)2Cl2]+, [Co(dien)Cl3], [Co(trien)Cl2]+, and [Co(tetren)Cl]2+, ions has been studied using a low pressure Hg vapour lamp as light source (254 nm) in aqueous–organic solvents [0–30% (v/v) MeOH or 1,4-dioxane]. Quantum yields for CoII production by redox decomposition have been determined in all the cases, and increase considerably with the increase in concentration of MeOH or 1,4-dioxane in the binary solvent mixtures under investigation. A plot of log(quantum yield) versus the Grunwald–Winstein Parameter, Y, which is a measure of solvent ionizing power, shows that a different blend of general and specific solvent interacts with the solute. This kind of specific solvent interaction on the reactant/excited state has been analysed using multiple regression: viz. Krygowski–Fawcett and Kamlet–Taft equations. Reasons for the difference in reactivity with chelation are also discussed.  相似文献

The structure of nearly saturated or supersaturated aqueous solutions of NaCI [6.18 mol (kg H2O)–1], KCI [4.56 mol (kg H2O)–1], KF [16.15 mol (kg H2O)–1] and CsF [31.96 mol (kg H2O)–1] has been investigated by means of solution X-ray diffraction at 25°C. In the NaCI and KCI solutions about 30% and 60%, respectively, of the ions form ion pairs and the Na+–Cl and K+–Cl distances have been determined to be 282 and 315 pm, respectively. The average hydration numbers of Na+ and Cl ions are 4.6 and 5.3, respectively, in the NaCI solution and those of K+ and Cl ions in the KCI solution are both 5.8. In the KF solution, clusters containing some cations and anions, besides 1:1 (K+–F) ion pairs, are formed. The K+–F interatomic distance has been determined to be 269 pm, and nonbonding K+...K+ and F...F distances in the clusters are 388 and 432 pm, respectively, and the average coordination numbers n KF , n KK and n FF have been estimated to be 2.3, 1.9, and 1.6, respectively. In the highly supersaturated CsF solution an appreciable amount of clusters containing several caesium and fluoride ions are formed. The Cs+–F distance in the cluster has been determined to be 312 pm, while the nonbonding Cs+...Cs+ and F...F distances are estimated to be 442 and 548 pm, respectively, the distances being about and times the Cs+–F distance, respectively. The coordination numbers n CsF , n CsCs , and n FF in the first coordination sphere of each ion are 3.3, 2.3 and 5.3, respectively, and the result shows the formation of clusters of higher order than 1:1 and 2:2 ion pairs. These ion pairs and clusters may be regarded as embryos for the formation of nuclei of crystals and the results obtained in the present diffraction study support observations for the nucleation of the alkali halide crystals studied by molecular dynamics simulations previously examined.  相似文献

Nonempirical calculations of the electronic structure of the [PF5]2– ion and of the clusters [M5PF5]3+ and [M4PF5]2+ (M=H+, Li+, Na+) have been carried out.
