This work is an attempt to search for highly selective sensing materials for ethanol vapor. The electrical conductivity response of ZSM-5, Y, and mordenite zeolites towards ethanol vapor have been investigated for the effects of the framework, the charge balancing cation type, and the Si/Al ratio. All zeolites were characterized using XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TGA, BET, and NH3-TPD techniques. For the effect of the zeolite framework type, H+Y has a higher electrical conductivity sensitivity value than that of H+MOR because of a greater pore volume and available surface area. For the effect of the charge balancing cation, all NH4 +ZSM-5 zeolites (Si/Al = 23, 50, 80, 280) show negative responses, whereas the H+Y zeolites (Si/Al = 30, 60, 80) and the H+MOR zeolites (Si/Al = 30, 200) show positive responses. These differing behaviors can be traced to the electrostatic field at the cation sites in zeolite micropores, and their hydrophilic–hydrophobic character, which affect the adsorption properties of the zeolites. For the effect of Si/Al ratio, the electrical conductivity sensitivity towards the ethanol decreases with increasing Si/Al ratio or decreasing Al content, and there is a lesser degree of interaction between ethanol molecules and the active sites of the zeolites due to its higher hydrophobicity and the lower amount of cations. However, the H+Y (Si/Al = 5.1) and the H+MOR (Si/Al = 19) zeolites have lower conductivity sensitivity than those of H+Y (Si/Al = 30) and H+MOR (Si/Al = 30), respectively. The interactions between the C2H5OH molecules and the zeolites with respect to the electrical conductivity sensitivity were investigated and verified through infrared spectroscopy.  相似文献

Time- and spatially-resolved optical emission spectroscopy was performed to characterize the plasma produced in a hybrid magnetron-sputtering-laser deposition system, which is used for TiC or SiC thin films preparation. A graphite target was ablated by a KrF excimer laser (λ=248 nm,τ=20 ns) and either Ti or Si targets were used for DC magnetron sputtering in argon ambient. Spectra were measured in the range 250–850 nm. The evolution of the spectra with varying magnetron powers (0–100 W) and argon pressures (0.3–10 Pa) was studied. Spectra of the plasmas produced by a) the magnetron alone, b) the ablation laser alone, and c) the magnetron and the ablation laser together, were recorded. Spectra (a) were dominated by Ar atoms and Ar+ ions. Emission lines of Ti and Si were detected, when Ti target and Si target was used, respectively. Spectra (b) revealed emission of C, C+, C2, Ar, Ar+. Spectra (c) showed presence of all previously mentioned species and further of Ti+ ions emission was detected. When 1.00 mol l−1 I is used as ion perturber, rhodamine 6G (Rh 6G) can emit strong and stable room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) on filter paper substrate in KHC8H4O4–HCl buffer solution (pH = 3.50), heated at 70 °C for 10 min. NaIO4 can oxidize Rh 6G, which makes the RTP signal quench. Terbutaline sulfate (TBS) can inhibit NaIO4 from oxidizing Rh 6G, which makes the RTP signal of Rh 6G enhance sharply. The content of TBS is linear correlation to ΔIp of the system. Based on the facts above, a new inhibition solid substrate-room temperature phosphorimetry (SS-RTP) for the determination of trace TBS has been established. The linear range of this method is 0.0104–2.08 pg spot−1 (corresponding concentration: 0.026–5.2 ng ml−1, with a sample volume of 0.4 μl) with a detection limit (L.D.) of 2.6 fg spot−1 (corresponding concentration: 6.5 × 10−12 g ml−1), and the regression equation of working curve is ΔIp = 2.040 + 54.54 mTBS (pg spot−1), n = 6, correlation coefficient is 0.9994. For the samples containing 0.0104 pg spot−1 and 2.08 pg spot−1 TBS, the relative standard deviation (RSD) are 3.8% and 2.3% (n = 8), respectively, indicating good precision. This method has been applied to determination of trace TBS in the practical samples with satisfactory results. The reaction mechanism of NaIO4 oxidizing Rh 6G to inhibit SS-RTP for the determination of trace TBS is also discussed.  相似文献

Non-neutral plasmas composed of 106 to 107 Ar +  ions were confined in a linear Paul trap which had a non-harmonic electrostatic potential in axial direction. Axial resonances were observed by applying additional RF electric field and detecting axially ejected ions. It was found that the resonance frequencies shifted as a function of the ion number, the amplitude of additional RF electric field, and the applied electrostatic potential for the axial confinement.   相似文献

 The elastic α + 8He phase shifts are calculated with a two-centre generator-coordinate method. The microscopic α and 8He internal wave functions are defined in the harmonic-oscillator model. Bound states and resonances of 12Be are obtained. Among them, a 4+ resonance with a molecular structure should be observable in elastic scattering. The parity dependence of the microscopic phase shifts is analyzed by fitting them with simple potentials. The odd-even effect is similar in the α + 8He and α + 6He phase shifts for low partial waves but decreases more rapidly with increasing orbital momentum for α + 8He. Excitation of H+, H2 +, H3 +, He+, and Ar+ ions by impact on graphite and Al2O3 was investigated by means of emission spectroscopy in the 50–1000 eV energy range of the projectiles. Emission of Balmer series from excited neutral hydrogen is observed for both targets. In addition, for the Al2O3 target a continuum emission is observed. The continuum probably originates from excited MnOm molecules produced in the collision cascade, when surface atoms bound by ionic bonds are released after the bond breaking caused by neutralization. The spectra obtained under Ar+ -bombardment show Ar II lines emitted by backscattered ions.  相似文献

Dual beam thermal lens technique is used to determine the thermal diffusivity of different solvents in presence of gold nanoparticles. In this technique an Ar+ laser (wavelength 514 nm, power 40 mW) and intensity stabilized He-Ne laser were used as the heating source and probe beam respectively. The experimental results showed that thermal diffusivity values of the studied solvents (water, ethanol and ethylene glycol (EG)) were enhanced by the presence of gold nanoparticles.  相似文献

In the paper, a chemiluminescence (CL) system was developed based on the catalytical effect of diperiodatocuprate (III) (DPC) on the 1,10-phenanthroline (phen)/hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The effects of experimental conditions were investigated. Meanwhile the increase of CL intensity of the DPC/phen/H2O2/CTAB system is proportional to the concentration of phen in the range of low concentration. The linear range of the calibration curve is 5.0 × 10−9–1.0 × 10−6 mol L−1, and the corresponding detection limit is 1.9 × 10−9 mol L−1. The effects of phenolic compounds (PCs) on the system were investigated. Hydroquinone was used as an example to investigate the application of the CL system to the determination of PCs. The quenched CL intensity is linearly related to the logarithm of concentration of hydroquinone. The linear range of the calibration curve is 2.5 × 10−9–1.0 × 10−5 g mL−1, and the corresponding detection limit is 1.8 × 10−9 g mL−1. This phen and hydroquinone can be synchronously determined. The method was applied to the determination of hydroquinone in water samples and the recoveries were from 92% to 106%.  相似文献

The preparation of (La9.33−2x/3Sr x 0.67−x/3)Si6O24O2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 2) samples with different amounts of cation vacancies is reported. Structure and unit-cell parameters were deduced by Rietveld analysis of XRD patterns. Structural features that enhance oxygen conductivity in Sr-doped apatites are discussed. Up to three components were detected in 29Si MAS-NMR spectra which change with the amount and distribution of cation vacancies. In general, oxygen conductivity increases with the amount of vacancies at La1 (6h) sites, passing through a maximum for x = 0.4. In the case of activation energy, a minimum is detected near x = 1.2, indicating that entropic and enthalpic change in different ways. The presence of cation vacancies should enhance oxygen hopping along c-axis; however, the analysis of the frequency dependence of conductivity suggests that oxygen motions are produced along three axes.  相似文献

Ar+ induced Auger electrons from Si and Ar were investigated at bombardment energies between 3–15 keV and target currents of a few μA. The Auger electron yields were compared with secondary ion yields of Si and Ar by simultaneous SIMS-AES measurements. In the ion induced Auger spectra of Si five Auger peaks and in the Ar spectra three Auger peaks were observed. The ion induced Auger electron yield of Si and Ar were found to be strongly dependent upon the primary ion energy. “Bulk like” and “atomic like” Auger transitions of ion induced Auger electrons of Si were observed.  相似文献

Attempt to observe a 7H resonance produced in the reaction 2H(8He,3He)7H resulted only in setting a limit dσ/dΩ≤ 20 μb/sr for the reaction exit channel which could populate a resonance lying between 0 and 3 MeV above the 7H decay threshold. The quasi-free scattering of the α core bound in 6He was explored keeping in mind the possible study of the cluster structure of this halo nucleus. For the first time coincident particles emitted in the 4He(6He, 2α)nn reaction were detected in wide angular ranges giving a wide kinematical range of the measured angular and momentum distributions. The contribution of processes, competing with QFS in the α+ α+n+n output channel, was considerably suppressed by the selection of events with Eα1(2)-nn>10 MeV. A number of experimental distributions, relevant to the reaction mechanism and to the 6He structure, were compared with the results of MC simulations based on the PWIA formalism. 2 Σ+,H2Π±(v=2), and 4dσ,πO2Σ+,O2Π±(v=0) Rydberg states of NO molecules are described. The analyses of the two-photon excitation functions and infrared emission spectra revealed that only the 2Π- component was involved in PFWM. This is in good accordance with the absence of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) in the 2Σ+ and 2Π+ components due to their predissociative character. Results provide some support for the mechanism that the generation of the vacuum ultraviolet radiation was brought by PFWM in which ASE served as a third driving wave. The irradiation effects of 2 MeV He+ and Ar+ ions on the film structure of the C–Si system were investigated with RHEED and XPS. The formation of SiC phase and/or the growth of epitaxial SiC were possible by He+ irradiation for the carbon films up to 0.7 nm in thickness, which was thinner than that by Ar+ irradiation. The He+ irradiation could not grow the turbostratic graphite which could be grown by Ar+ irradiation. The mechanism of the formation and the epitaxial growth of SiC by ion irradiation was discussed from the view point of the energy transfer from the irradiated ions.  相似文献

All-solid-state proton-conducting polymeric batteries have been fabricated in the cell configurations: Zn + ZnSO4·7H2O (anode) || polyethylene oxide (PEO):NH4HSO4 + SiO2 || MnO2 + C (cathode) and Zn + ZnSO4·7H2O (anode) || PEO:NH4HSO4 + SiO2 || PbO2 + V2O5 + C (cathode). Nano-composite proton-conducting polymeric membrane in wt.% composition, 92PEO: 8 NH4HSO4 + 3 SiO2, synthesized by solution cast technique, has been used as electrolyte. Dispersal of nanosized (8 nm) fumed-SiO2 particles resulted into an enhancement in the room temperature conductivity of polymer electrolyte host, 92PEO: 8 NH4HSO4 (wt.%), approximately by an order of magnitude with the substantial increase in the mechanical strength of the films. Details on the electrolyte film casting and ion transport characterization studies have been discussed elsewhere in the literature. However, a brief mention has been made for reference. An open circuit voltage in the range 1.5–1.8 V, obtained for both the batteries, is in very good agreement with the value reported. The cell performance has been studied under varying load conditions. In this work, systematic X-band electron magnetic resonance (EMR) studies for YMnO3/Si ferroelectric gate structures were performed to trace a variation of interface characteristics as different sputtering condition of O2/(Ar + O2) ratio. Our result showed that the EMR signal intensities were increased with increasing O2/(Ar + O2) ratio. In addition, it was suggested from detailed analyses that the observed EMR signals could be originated from Mn nanoclusters existing in both the polycrystalline Y2O3 layer and the amorphous Si-enriched Y–Si interface layer in YMnO3/Si thin film structure. And also, a correlation between the decrease of crystallinity in YMnO3/Si film and the content of Mn nanoclusters within the polycrystalline Y2O3 layer and/or the amorphous Y–Si layer was discussed.  相似文献

The stoichiometry range and lithium ion conductivity of Li5+x Ba x La3−x Ta2O12 (x = 0, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.00) with garnet-like structure were studied. The powder X-ray diffraction data of Li5+x Ba x La3−x Ta2O12 indicated that single phase oxides with garnet-like structure exist over the compositional range 0 ≤ x ≤ 1.25; while for x = 1.5, 1.75 and 2.00, the presence of second phase in addition to the major garnet like phase was observed. The cubic lattice parameter increases with increasing x and reaches a maximum at x = 1.25 then decreases slightly with further increase in x in Li5+x Ba x La3−x Ta2O12. The impedance plots of Li5+x Ba x La3−x Ta2O12 samples obtained at 33 °C indicated a minimum grain-boundary resistance (R gb) contribution to the total resistance (R b + R gb) at x = 1.0. The total (bulk + grain boundary) ionic conductivity increases with increasing lithium and barium content and reaches a maximum at x = 1.25 and then decreases with further increase in x in Li5+x Ba x La3−x Ta2O12. Scanning electron microscope investigations revealed that Li6.25Ba1.25La1.75Ta2O12 is much more dense, and the grains are more regular in shape. Among the investigated compounds, Li6.25Ba1.25La1.75Ta2O12 exhibits the highest total (bulk + grain boundary) and bulk ionic conductivity of 5.0 × 10−5 and 7.4 × 10−5 S/cm at 33 °C, respectively.  相似文献

In the context, a modified sol-gel technology was afford to the synthesis of rare earth composite ceramic phosphors MM′O3/CeO2 and MM′O3/CeO2: Pr3+ (M = Ca, Sr; M′ = Ti, Zr) with multicomponent hybrid precursors were composed. The micromorphology, particle size and photoluminescence properties were studied with XRD, SEM and luminescent spectroscopy in detail. Both XRD and SEM indicated the particle sizes were in the submicrometer range of 100 ∼ 300 nm. The photoluminescence for these ceramic phosphors were studied in details with the different component of host (molecular ratio of Sr, Ca and Ti, Zr), presenting a broad spectral band in the visible blue-violet region with the maximum excitation peak at 449 nm and a wide emission range with a maximum peak at 619 nm, which was ascribed to be the characteristic transition of Pr3+ (1D23H4). These phosphors can be expected for visible light conversion (blue → red) materials. Especially it can be found that the introduction of CeO2 can enhance the luminescence intensity of MM′O3 and MM′O3: Pr3+.  相似文献

The PHENIX experiment at RHIC has measured a variety of light neutral mesons (π 0, K S 0, η, ω, η , φ) via multi-particle decay channels over a wide range of transverse momentum. The electronic structures of the manifold of potential energy surfaces generated in the lower energy range by the interaction of the MgH+(X1Σ+)  cationic molecule with Rb(2S)  neutral atom are obtained over a broad range of Jacobi coordinates from strongly correlated ab initio calculations which use a Multireference (MR) wavefunction within a Complete Active Space (CAS) approach. The relative features of the lowest five surfaces are analyzed in terms of possible collisional outcomes when employed to model the ultracold dynamics of ionic molecular partners.  相似文献

Chemiluminescence (CL) of the reaction system tetracycline–H2O2–Fe(II)/(III)–Eu(III) was used for the determination of tetracycline hydrochloride in water, pharmaceutical preparations, and honey. The CL spectrum registered for this system shows emission bands typical of Eu(III) ions, with a maximum at λ ∼ 600 nm, corresponding to the electronic transitions of 5D07F1 and 5D07F2. A strong chemiluminescence intensity characteristic of europium(III) ions in the system tetracycline–H2O2–Fe(II)/(III)–Eu(III), as contrasted to the emission of the system tetracycline–H2O2–Fe(II)/(III) without Eu(III), proves that the Eu(III) ion plays the role of a chemiluminescence sensitizer, accompanying tetracycline oxidation in the Fenton system (H2O2–Fe(II)/(III)). A linear dependence was observed for the integrated CL light intensity on the tetracycline concentration in the range of 2 × 10−7 to 3 × 10−5 mol l−1 with the detection limit of 5 × 10−8 mol l−1 in aqueous solution.  相似文献
