In the framework of the NRQCD factorization formalism,we calculate the decay rate for the process Υ(1 S) → ccgg to the next-to-leading order(NLO) in the relative velocity v of the b quark in the bottomonium rest frame.We also study the momentum distributions of the charm quark and the charmed-hadron in the decay.The momentum distribution of the charmed-hadron is obtained by convolving the charm quark momentum distribution with a fragmentation function of the charm quark into the hadron.In addition,we fit the nonperturbative NRQCD matrix element v 2 Υ through comparing the theoretical prediction with the measurement from the BaBar collaboration for the decay rate of Υ(1 S) → D + X.In return,taking this matrix element as an input parameter,we predict the decay rates as well as the momentum distributions for a collection of charmed-hadrons in the process Υ(1S) → ccgg → hX.  相似文献

In an experiment using the CERN SPS hyperon beam, we have measured the cross sections for inclusive production of Ξ0 (accompanied by a charged particle), Ξ(1530)- and Ξ(1530)0 in Ξ--beryllium collisions at 116 GeV/c. All differential cross sections are found to be well described by the from (1?x F )n exp (?bp T 2 ) over the whole accessible kinematical region (x F >0.3). The invariant production spectra for Ξ0, Ξ(1530)- and Ξ(1530)0, as well as those for Ξ-, and Ω- (obtained previously from the same data), are compared to theoretical predictions deduced from a two-component quark-diquark cascade model.  相似文献

The observation of the bottom, strange baryon Ξ(b)(0) through the decay chain Ξ(b)(0)→Ξ(c)(+)π-, where ΞΞ(c)(+)→Ξ- π+ π+, Ξ-→Λπ-, and Λ→pπ-, is reported by using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.2 fb(-1) from pp collisions at square root(s)=1.96 TeV recorded with the Collider Detector at Fermilab. A signal of 25.3(-5.4)(+5.6) candidates is observed whose probability of arising from a background fluctuation is 3.6×10(-12), corresponding to 6.8 gaussian standard deviations. The Ξ(b)(0) mass is measured to be 5787.8±5.0(stat)±1.3(syst) MeV/c2. In addition, the Ξ(b)- baryon is observed through the process Ξ(b)-→Ξ(c)(0)π-, where Ξ(c)(0)→Ξ- π+, Ξ-→Λπ-, and Λ→pπ-.  相似文献

A new observable, the angle between ■ decay planes, is proposed to test the theoretical predictions on the spin correlation. With 10 billion J/ψ events collected with the BES Ⅲ detector at the BEPCⅡ e~+e~- collider, the distribution of the angle could be measured to verify whether or not a correlation exists.  相似文献

Last year,the Ξ(1620) state,which is cataloged in the Particle Data Group(PDG) with only one star,was reported again in the Ξ~-π~+final state by the Belle Collaboration.Its properties,such as the spectroscopy and decay width,cannot be simply explained in the context of conventional constituent quark models.This inspires an active discussion on the structure of this resonance.In this paper,we study the radiative decays of the newly observed Ξ(1620) assuming that it is a meson-baryon molecular state of AK and with spin-parity J~P=1/2~-developed in our previous study.The partial decay widths of the AK-ΣK molecular state into Ξγ and Ξπγ final states through hadronic loops are evaluated using effective Lagrangians.The partial widths for Ξ(1620)~0→γΞ is evaluated to be approximately 118.76-174.21 keV,which may be accessible for the LHCb experiment.If Ξ(1620) is aΛK-∑K molecule,the radiative transition strength Ξ(1620)~0→γKA is considerably small and the decay width is of the order of 0.01 eV.Future experimental measurements of these processes can be useful to test the molecule interpretations of the Ξ(1620).  相似文献

We study the production of Ξ?-hypernuclei, ${^{12}{_{\Xi^-}}}$ Be and ${^{28}{_{\Xi^-}}}$ Mg, via the (K ?, K +) reaction within a covariant effective Lagrangian model, employing the bound Ξ? and proton spinors calculated by the latest quark-meson coupling model. The present treatment yields the 0° differential cross sections for the formation of simple s-state Ξ? particle-hole states peak at a beam momentum around 1.0 GeV/c with a value in excess of 1 μb.  相似文献

The hadronic decays ,and ωf2(1270) have been studied in a sample of 1.27 million produced.Measurements of their branching fractions are presented. While obeys the "14% rule" predicted by theory, →ωf2 (1270) is suppressed comparing with the corresponding decay. As a vector-tensor pair combination, the ωf2 mode is the first example of a non-vector-pseudoscalar decay of charmonium which violates the above mentioned rule.  相似文献

In an experiment at the CERN-SPS charged hyperon beam, we have investigated the inclusive \(\Lambda \bar K^0 \) and \(\Sigma ^0 \bar K^0 \) final states formed in Ξ? Be interactions. In the \(\Lambda \bar K^0 \) channel, we observe a signal at 1826 MeV/c2 which can be identified with the known Ξ(1820) resonance. We determine its mass and width to be:M=1826±4 MeV/c2, Г=12±14 MeV/c2. A moment analysis is consistent with a spin of 3/2 and indicates a negative parity for this spin assignment. Also in the \(\Lambda \bar K^0 \) channel, we observe a 3.6σ signal with the following parameters:M=1963±5 MeV/c2, Г=25±15 MeV/c2. This state, which we call Ξ(1960), is not observed in the \(\Sigma ^0 \bar K^0 \) channel, leading to an upper limit on the ratio of partial widths \(\Sigma \bar K/\Lambda \bar K\) of 2.3 (90% confidence level). A moment analysis of the \(\Lambda \bar K^0 \) final state indicates a spin of 5/2 or greater in the natural spin-parity series 5/2+, 7/2?, etc.  相似文献

Neutron deficient nuclei near 100Sn have been produced by fragmentation of a 1 . AGeV 112Sn beam. The fragments were separated, identified and stopped in a highly segmented silicon strip detector stack. This detector measured the total energy of emitted β+-particles. γ-radiation was measured with surrounding detectors. The half-lives for many nuclides have been determined for the first time and give important information for the following topics: For the heaviest particle-stable odd-odd nuclei 90Rh, 94Ag and 98In we observed for the first time fast β-decays, compatible with superallowed Fermi transitions and confirmed such decays for 78Y, 82Nb and 86Tc. We have also observed long-lived T = 0 states in some of these nuclei. We measured the half-lives of all rp-process waiting-point nuclei from 80Zr up to 92, 93Pd. In addition we find the proton drip line nucleus 77Y to decay dominantly via β-decay. To study the Gamov-Teller strength in the β-decay near the doubly magic 100Sn we measured the half-life, β- and γ-spectrum of 102Sn. We propose a level scheme for the daughter nuclide 102In and deduce the Gamov-Teller strength (B GT = 4.0±0.6). This is one of the largest values known. The newly observed D*sJ family containing D*sJ(2317), DsJ(2460), and DsJ(2632) attracts great interests.Determining their structures may be an important task for both theorists and experimentalists. In this work we use a non-relativistic model (the harmonic oscillator model) to evaluate the production rate of D*sJ (2317) from the decays of ψ(4415). For a comparison, we also employ the widely adopted heavy quark effective theory to repeat the calculation.We find that the rate is sizable and may be observed at BES Ⅲ and CLEO, if it is a p-wave excited state of Ds (1968).Unfortunately, the other two members of the family cannot be observed through decays of charmonia, because of the constraints from the final state phase space.  相似文献

We report the production of~(39) K and~(87) Rb Bose–Einstein condensates(BECs) in the lowest hyperfine states |F =1, m_F = 1 simultaneously. We collect atoms in bright/dark magneto-optical traps(MOTs) of~(39) K/~(87) Rb to overcome the light-assisted losses of~(39) K atoms. Gray molasses cooling on the D1 line of the~(39) K is used to effectively increase the phase density, which improves the loading efficiency of~(39) K into the quadrupole magnetic trap. Simultaneously, the normal molasses is employed for~(87) Rb. After the microwave evaporation cooling on~(87) Rb in the optically plugged magnetic trap,the atoms mixture is transferred to a crossed optical dipole trap, where the collisional properties of the two species in different combinations of the hyperfine states are studied. The dual species BECs of~(39) K and~(87) Rb are obtained by further evaporative cooling in an optical dipole trap at a magnetic field of 372.6 G with the background repulsive interspecies scattering length a_(KRb)= 34 a_0(a_0 is the Bohr radius) and the intraspecies scattering length a_K= 20.05 a_0.  相似文献

本文用脉冲衰减法和时间分辨荧光光谱法测量了六种不同稀土离子浓度的Sm_xLa_(1-x)P_5O_4晶体的~4G_(5/2)→~6H_J(J=5/2,7/2,9/2,11/2)四个能级和七种不同稀土离子浓度的Dy_xY_(1-x)P_5O_(14)晶体的~4F_(9/2)→~6H_J(J=15/2,13/2,11/2,9/2)四个能级的荧光寿命和荧光强度。结果指出,在这类晶体中,Sm~(3+)和Dy~(3+)的荧光寿命随着离子的浓度增加而变短,存在着严重的荧光浓度猝灭现象。最后还讨论了浓度与寿命,寿命与荧光强度的关系。  相似文献

The Babar Collaboration announced two new excited charmed baryons Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3123)+. We study their strong decays assuming they are D-wave states. Some assignments are excluded by comparing our numerical results with the experimental values of the total widths of Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3123)+. In the present work,we predict the α decay half-lives of unknown even-even nuclei ~(296-308)120 within the two-potential approach,whose α decay energy Qa is calculated using WS3+mass model.To reduce the deviations between the predictions and experimental data due to nuclear shell effect,the analytic formula of α decay hindrance factor is introduced to the two-potential approach,whose parameters had been extracted from even-even nuclei in the region of 82 Z 126 and 152 N 184 in our previous work [Deng et al.,Chin.Phys.C 42(2018) 044102].In addition,for comparing,we use a type of α decay general formula Universal Decay Law(UDL) and a semi-empirical formula in the superheavy nucleus(SEMFLS) to calculate the half-lives of even-even nuclei ~(296-308)120.The results indicate that our predicted values and the calculated values of the above two empirical formulas are mutually confirmed.Meanwhile,we systematically study α decay chains of ~(296-308)120 and predict the decay modes for superheavy nuclei to help to identify new superheavy isotopes.  相似文献
