A step-scan Fourier-transform spectrometer coupled with a multipass absorption cell was employed to detect temporally resolved infrared absorption spectra of CH(3)OSO produced upon irradiation of a flowing gaseous mixture of CH(3)OS(O)Cl in N(2) or CO(2) at 248 nm. Two intense transient features with origins near 1152 and 994 cm(-1) are assigned to syn-CH(3)OSO; the former is attributed to overlapping bands at 1154 ± 3 and 1151 ± 3 cm(-1), assigned to the S=O stretching mixed with CH(3) rocking (ν(8)) and the S=O stretching mixed with CH(3) wagging (ν(9)) modes, respectively, and the latter to the C-O stretching (ν(10)) mode at 994 ± 6 cm(-1). Two weak bands at 2991 ± 6 and 2956 ± 3 cm(-1) are assigned as the CH(3) antisymmetric stretching (ν(2)) and symmetric stretching (ν(3)) modes, respectively. Observed vibrational transition wavenumbers agree satisfactorily with those predicted with quantum-chemical calculations at level B3P86∕aug-cc-pVTZ. Based on rotational parameters predicted at that level, the simulated rotational contours of these bands agree satisfactorily with experimental results. The simulation indicates that the S=O stretching mode of anti-CH(3)OSO near 1164 cm(-1) likely makes a small contribution to the observed band near 1152 cm(-1). A simple kinetic model of self-reaction is employed to account for the decay of CH(3)OSO and yields a second-order rate coefficient k=(4 ± 2)×10(-10) cm(3)molecule(-1)s(-1).  相似文献

Irradiation with a mercury lamp at 254 nm of a p-H(2) matrix containing CH(3)I and SO(2) at 3.3 K, followed by annealing of the matrix, produced prominent features at 633.8, 917.5, 1071.1 (1072.2), 1272.5 (1273.0, 1273.6), and 1416.0 cm(-1), attributable to ν(11) (C-S stretching), ν(10) (CH(3) wagging), ν(8) (SO(2) symmetric stretching), ν(7) (SO(2) antisymmetric stretching), and ν(4) (CH(2) scissoring) modes of methylsulfonyl radical (CH(3)SO(2)), respectively; lines listed in parentheses are weaker lines likely associated with species in a different matrix environment. Further irradiation at 365 nm diminishes these features and produced SO(2) and CH(3). Additional features at 1150.1 and 1353.1 (1352.7) cm(-1) are tentatively assigned to the SO(2) symmetric and antisymmetric stretching modes of ISO(2). These assignments are based on comparison of observed vibrational wavenumbers and (18)O- and (34)S-isotopic shifts with those predicted with the B3P86 method. Our results agree with the previous report of transient IR absorption bands of gaseous CH(3)SO(2) at 1280 and 1076 cm(-1). These results demonstrate that the cage effect of solid p-H(2) is diminished so that CH(3) radicals, produced via UV photodissociation of CH(3)I in situ, might react with SO(2) to form CH(3)SO(2) during irradiation and upon annealing. Observation of CH(3)SO(2) but not CH(3)OSO is consistent with the theoretical predictions that only the former reactions proceed via a barrierless path.  相似文献

A step-scan Fourier-transform spectrometer coupled with a multipass absorption cell was employed to monitor time-resolved infrared absorption of transient species produced upon irradiation at 248 nm of a flowing mixture of CH(3)SSCH(3) and O(2) at 260 K. Two transient bands observed with origins at 1397±1 and 1110±3 cm(-1) are tentatively assigned to the antisymmetric CH(3)-deformation and O-O stretching modes of syn-CH(3)SOO, respectively; the observed band contour indicates that the less stable anti-CH(3)SOO conformer likely contributes to these absorption bands. A band with an origin at 1071±1 cm(-1), observed at a slightly later period, is assigned to the S=O stretching mode of CH(3)SO, likely produced via secondary reactions of CH(3)SOO. These bands fit satisfactorily with vibrational wavenumbers and rotational contours simulated based on rotational parameters of syn-CH(3)SOO, anti-CH(3)SOO, and CH(3)SO predicted with density-functional theories B3LYP/aug-cc-pVTZ and B3P86/aug-cc-pVTZ. Two additional bands near 1170 and 1120 cm(-1) observed at a later period are tentatively assigned to CH(3)S(O)OSCH(3) and CH(3)S(O)S(O)CH(3), respectively; both species are likely produced from self-reaction of CH(3)SOO. The production of SO(2) via secondary reactions was also observed and possible reaction mechanism is discussed.  相似文献

Selective vibrational excitation controls the competition between C-H and C-D bond cleavage in the reaction of CH(3)D with Cl, which forms either HCl + CH(2)D or DCl + CH(3). The reaction of CH(3)D molecules with the first overtone of the C-D stretch (2nu(2)) excited selectively breaks the C-D bond, producing CH(3) exclusively. In contrast, excitation of either the symmetric C-H stretch (nu(1)), the antisymmetric C-H stretch (nu(4)), or a combination of antisymmetric stretch and CH(3) umbrella bend (nu(4) + nu(3)) causes the reaction to cleave only a C-H bond to produce solely CH(2)D. Initial preparation of C-H stretching vibrations with different couplings to the reaction coordinate changes the rate of the H-atom abstraction reaction. Excitation of the symmetric C-H stretch (nu(1)) of CH(3)D accelerates the H-atom abstraction reaction 7 times more than excitation of the antisymmetric C-H stretch (nu(4)) even though the two lie within 80 cm(-1) of the same energy. Ab initio calculations and a simple theoretical model help identify the dynamics behind the observed mode selectivity.  相似文献

The dissociation dynamics of methoxysulfinyl radicals generated from the photodissociation of CH(3)OS(O)Cl at 248 nm is investigated using both a crossed laser-molecular beam scattering apparatus and a velocity map imaging apparatus. There is evidence of only a single photodissociation channel of the precursor: S-Cl fission to produce Cl atoms and CH(3)OSO radicals. Some of the vibrationally excited CH(3)OSO radicals undergo subsequent dissociation to CH(3) + SO(2). The velocities of the detected CH(3) and SO(2) products show that the dissociation occurs via a transition state having a substantial barrier beyond the endoergicity; appropriately, the distribution of velocities imparted to these momentum-matched products is fit by a broad recoil kinetic energy distribution extending out to 24 kcal/mol in translational energy. Using 200 eV electron bombardment detection, we also detect the CH(3)OSO radicals that have too little internal energy to dissociate. These radicals are observed both at the parent CH(3)OSO(+) ion as well as at the CH(3)(+) and SO(2)(+) daughter ions; they are distinguished by virtue of the velocity imparted in the original photolytic step. The detected velocities of the stable radicals are roughly consistent with the calculated barriers (both at the CCSD(T) and G3B3 levels of theory) for the dissociation of CH(3)OSO to CH(3) + SO(2) when we account for the partitioning of internal energy between rotation and vibration as the CH(3)OSOCl precursor dissociates.  相似文献

The kinetics and mechanism of the reactions of Cl atoms and OH radicals with CH3CH2CHO were investigated at room temperature using two complementary techniques: flash photolysis/UV absorption and continuous photolysis/FTIR smog chamber. Reaction with Cl atoms proceeds predominantly by abstraction of the aldehydic hydrogen atom to form acyl radicals. FTIR measurements indicated that the acyl forming channel accounts for (88 +/- 5)%, while UV measurements indicated that the acyl forming channel accounts for (88 +/- 3)%. Relative rate methods were used to measure: k(Cl + CH3CH2CHO) = (1.20 +/- 0.23) x 10(-10); k(OH + CH3CH2CHO) = (1.82 +/- 0.23) x 10(-11); and k(Cl + CH3CH2C(O)Cl) = (1.64 +/- 0.22) x 10(-12) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1). The UV spectrum of CH3CH2C(O)O2, rate constant for self-reaction, and rate constant for cross-reaction with CH3CH2O2 were determined: sigma(207 nm) = (6.71 +/- 0.19) x 10(-18) cm2 molecule(-1), k(CH3CH2C(O)O2 + CH3CH2C(O)O2) = (1.68 +/- 0.08) x 10(-11), and k(CH3CH2C(O)O2 + CH3CH2O2) = (1.20 +/- 0.06) x 10(-11) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1), where quoted uncertainties only represent 2sigma statistical errors. The infrared spectrum of C2H5C(O)O2NO2 was recorded, and products of the Cl-initiated oxidation of CH3CH2CHO in the presence of O2 with, and without, NO(x) were identified. Results are discussed with respect to the atmospheric chemistry of propionaldehyde.  相似文献

We report the infrared absorption spectrum of the methylthio (or thiomethoxy) radical, CH(3)S (X (2)E(3/2)), produced via photodissociation in situ of three precursors CH(3)SH, CH(3)SCH(3), and CH(3)SSCH(3) isolated in solid p-H(2). The common absorption features observed with similar intensity ratios in each experiment are assigned to CH(3)S. The wavenumbers of these features agree satisfactorily with those predicted with a spin-vibronic Hamiltonian accounting for the anharmonic effects and the Jahn-Teller effects to the quartic term [A. V. Marenich and J. E. Boggs, J. Chem. Theory Comput. 1, 1162 (2005)]. In addition to an absorption line at 724.2?cm(-1), corresponding to a transition of 3(1) previously determined to be 727?cm(-1) from fluorescence spectra of gaseous CH(3)S, we identified fundamental transitions 6(1)(a(1)) at 771.1, 6(1)(e) at 1056.6, 5(1)(a(1)) at 1400.0, 4(1)(a(1)) at 2898.4?cm(-1), and several combination and overtone transitions. In contrast, photolysis of CH(3)SSCH(3) isolated in solid Ar produces mainly H(2)CS, CH(3)SH, and CS(2), but no CH(3)S. These results demonstrate the feasibility of using photolysis in situ of precursors isolated in solid p-H(2) to produce free radicals by taking advantage of the diminished cage effect of the matrix.  相似文献

First high-resolution infrared spectra are presented for jet-cooled CH2 35Cl and CH2 37Cl radicals in the symmetric (nu1) CH2 stretching mode. A detailed spectral assignment yields refined lower and upper state rotational constants, as well as fine structure spin-rotation parameters from least-squares fits to the sub-Doppler line shapes for individual transitions. The rotational constants are consistent with a nearly planar structure, but do not exclude substantial large amplitude bending motion over a small barrier to planarity accessible with zero-point excitation. High level coupled cluster (singles/doubles/triples) calculations, extrapolated to the complete basis set limit, predict a slightly nonplanar equilibrium structure (theta approximately 11 degrees), with a vibrationally adiabatic treatment of the bend coordinate yielding a v = 1<--0 anharmonic frequency (393 cm(-1)) in excellent agreement with matrix studies (nu(bend) approximately 400 cm(-1)). The antisymmetric CH2 stretch vibration is not observed despite high sensitivity detection (signal to noise ratio >20:1) in the symmetric stretch band. This is consistent with density functional theory intensity calculations indicating a >35-fold smaller antisymmetric stretch transition moment for CH2Cl, and yet contrasts dramatically with high-resolution infrared studies of CH2F radical, for which both symmetric and antisymmetric CH2 stretches are observed in a nearly 2:1 intensity ratio. A simple physical model is presented based on a competition between bond-dipole and "charge-sloshing" contributions to the transition moment, which nicely explains the trends in CH2X symmetric versus asymmetric stretch intensities as a function of electron withdrawing group (X = D,Br,Cl,F).  相似文献

The CH2Cl + CH3 (1) and CHCl2 + CH3 (2) cross-radical reactions were studied by laser photolysis/photoionization mass spectroscopy. Overall rate constants were obtained in direct real-time experiments in the temperature region 301-800 K and bath gas (helium) density (6-12) x 10(16) atom cm(-3). The observed rate constant of reaction 1 can be represented by an Arrhenius expression k1 = 3.93 x 10(-11) exp(91 K/T) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (+/-25%) or as an average temperature-independent value of k1= (4.8 +/- 0.7) x 10(-11) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1). The rate constant of reaction 2 can be expressed as k2= 1.66 x 10(-11) exp(359 K/T) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) (+/-25%). C2H4 and C2H3Cl were detected as the primary products of reactions 1 and 2, respectively. The experimental values of the rate constant are in reasonable agreement with the prediction based on the "geometric mean rule." A separate experimental attempt to determine the rate constants of the high-temperature CH2Cl + O2 (10) and CHCl2 + O2 (11) reaction resulted in an upper limit of 1.2 x 10(-16) cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1) for k10 and k11 at 800 K.  相似文献

Relative rate techniques were used to study the kinetics of the reactions of Cl atoms and OH radicals with ethylene glycol diacetate, CH3C(O)O(CH2)2OC(O)CH3, in 700 Torr of N2/O2 diluent at 296 K. The rate constants measured were k(Cl + CH3C(O)O(CH2)2OC(O)CH3) = (5.7 +/- 1.1) x 10(-12) and k(OH + CH3C(O)O(CH2)2OC(O)CH3) = (2.36 +/- 0.34) x 10(-12) cm3 molecule-1 s-1. Product studies of the Cl atom initiated oxidation of ethylene glycol diacetate in the absence of NO in 700 Torr of O2/N2 diluent at 296 K show the primary products to be CH3C(O)OC(O)CH2OC(O)CH3, CH3C(O)OC(O)H, and CH3C(O)OH. Product studies of the Cl atom initiated oxidation of ethylene glycol diacetate in the presence of NO in 700 Torr of O2/N2 diluent at 296 K show the primary products to be CH3C(O)OC(O)H and CH3C(O)OH. The CH3C(O)OCH2O* radical is formed during the Cl atom initiated oxidation of ethylene glycol diacetate, and two loss mechanisms were identified: reaction with O2 to give CH3C(O)OC(O)H and alpha-ester rearrangement to give CH3C(O)OH and HC(O) radicals. The reaction of CH3C(O)OCH2O2* with NO gives chemically activated CH3C(O)OCH2O* radicals which are more likely to undergo decomposition via the alpha-ester rearrangement than CH3C(O)OCH2O* radicals produced in the peroxy radical self-reaction.  相似文献

The 1:1 complex of OVCl(3) with (CH(3))(2)O has been isolated in argon matrices at 14 K, and characterized by infrared spectroscopy. The complex is relatively strongly bound, with significant shifts to vibrational modes of both the acid and base subunits in the complex. For example, the OC(2) symmetric stretch of (CH(3))(2)O shifted from 925 to 891 cm(-1) upon complex formation, while the VCl(3) antisymmetric stretching mode shifted from 505 to 474 cm(-1). Product identification and band assignments were confirmed by isotopic labeling. Attempts to convert the initial 1:1 complex into secondary intermediates by either thermal or photochemical processes were unsuccessful, suggesting that an active hydrogen atom is a key element in determining the pathway for reactions of OVCl(3).  相似文献

The infrared spectra of CH3Cl + H2O isolated in solid neon at low temperatures have been investigated. The CH3Cl + H2O system is remarkable because of its propensity to form CH3Cl:H2O and CH3Cl:(H2O)n (n > or = 2) complexes. We focus here on the CH3Cl:H2O species. Low concentration studies (0.01-0.5%) and subsequent annealing lead to formation of the 1:1 CH3Cl:H2O complex with O-H. . .Cl-C or O. . .H-C intermolecular hydrogen bonds. Vibrational modes of this complex have been detected. In addition, spectra of D2O + CH3Cl and HDO + CH3Cl have also been recorded. A detailed vibrational analysis of partially deuterated species shows that HDO is exclusively D bonded to CH3Cl. This is a consequence of the preference for HDO to form a deuterium bonding complex rather than a hydrogen bonding one.  相似文献

CO, O(2), and H(2) adsorption on a clean W(2)C(0001)√13×√13 R ± 13.9° reconstructed surface at room temperature (RT) were investigated using high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS). The W(2)C(0001) adsorbs CO molecularly and adsorbs O(2) dissociatively, but does not adsorb H(2) at RT. In the CO adsorption system, two C-O stretching (antisymmetric CCO stretching) modes were found at 242.3 meV (1954 cm(-1)) and at 253.0 meV (2041 cm(-1)). The low-frequency site is occupied at first with subsequent conversion to the high-frequency site with increasing coverage. Additionally, a small peak was apparent at 104.5 meV (843 cm(-1)), and a middle peak at 50-51 meV (400-410 cm(-1)), which are assignable to a symmetric stretching mode and a hindered translational mode, respectively, of a CCO (ketenylidene) species. These observations are consistent with the CO adsorption model on top of the surface carbon. For oxygen adsorption, two adsorption states were found at 65.2-68.1 meV (526-549 cm(-1)) and 73.6 meV (594 cm(-1)): typical frequencies to oxygen adsorption on metal surfaces. Results suggest that atomic oxygen adsorption occurred on a threefold hollow site of the second W layer.  相似文献

The melting behavior of a bacterially synthesized biodegradable polymer, poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB), was investigated by using generalized two-dimensional infrared (2D IR) correlation spectroscopy. Temperature-dependent spectral variations in the regions of the C-H stretching (3100-2850 cm(-1)), C=O stretching (1800-1680 cm(-1)), and C-O-C stretching (1320-1120 cm(-1)) bands were monitored during the melting process. The asynchronous 2D correlation spectrum for the C=O stretching band region resolved two crystalline bands at 1731 and 1723 cm(-1). The intense band at 1723 cm(-1) may be due to the highly ordered crystalline part of PHB, and the weak band at 1731 cm(-1) possibly arises from the crystalline part with a less ordered structure. These crystalline bands at 1731 and 1723 cm(-1) share asynchronous cross peaks with a band at around 1740 cm(-1) assignable to the C=O band due to the amorphous component. This observation indicates that the decreases in the crystalline components do not proceed simultaneously with the increase in the amorphous component. In the 3020-2915 cm(-1) region where bands due to the asymmetric CH3 stretching and antisymmetric CH2 stretching modes are expected to appear, eight bands are identified at 3007, 2995, 2985, 2975, 2967, 2938, 2934, and 2929 cm(-1). The bands at 2985 and 2938 cm(-1) are ascribed to the amorphous part while the rest come from crystal field splitting, which is a characteristic of polymers with a helical structure.

The IR spectrum of cis-(CH(3))(2)Au(O,O'-acac) has been reassigned by comparing frequencies for cis-(CH(3))(2)Au(O,O'-acac) and cis-(CD(3))(2)Au(O,O'-acac), and by analysis of the DFT-calculated normal modes and their frequencies for the isolated molecules. The vibrational intensity in the C-H stretching region arises almost entirely from the cis-(CH(3))(2)Au fragment, while the methyl deformation intensity is largely of acetylacetonato ligand origin. A low frequency mode in the C-H stretching region is the first overtone of the delta(a)(CH(3)) mode of cis-(CH(3))(2)Au. The Au-C stretching modes are affected by deuteration of the cis-(CH(3))(2)Au fragment, while the Au-O stretching modes are not.  相似文献

In this work, we present a complete study of the photoionization and dissociation processes for bis(trifluoromethoxy)disulfurylperoxide, CF3OS(O)2OOS(O)2OCF3, which was generated by UV photolysis of a mixture of (CF3CO)2O, SO2, and O2 at a low temperature. The reaction product was detected and characterized by the photoelectron (PE) and photoionization mass spectroscopy (PIMS). For comparison, the geometric and electronic structures of CF3S(O)2OS(O)2CF3 (a), CF3OS(O)2OS(O)2OCF3 (b), and CF3OS(O)2OOS(O)2OCF3 (c) were investigated by the combination of experiments and theoretical studies. The PES results show that the outer electrons residing in nO(S=O) of b and c are more tightly bound than those of a. It is worthwhile mentioning that drastic changes occur in the geometry of c after one-electron ionization. The neutral molecule exhibits a gauche structure with the SOOS dihedral angle of 124.4 degrees . The first ionization process happens on the O-O antibonding orbital. The remarkable geometric changes between the ground-state molecule and cation are computed to be the gauche-to-trans rotation of deltaSOOS and the prolongation of the S1-O1 single bond length. According to the calculated bond dissociation energies, the dissociation process was discussed. The calculated results indicate that once the parent ion is formed, the dissociation of the S1-O1 bond to form CF3OSO2+ is inevitable.  相似文献

The title reactions were studied using laser flash photolysis/laser-induced-fluorescence (FP-LIF) techniques. The two spin-orbit states, Cl*(2P(1/2)) and Cl(2P(3/2)), were detected using LIF at 135.2 and 134.7 nm, respectively. Measured reaction rate constants were as follows (units of cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1)): k(Cl(2P(3/2))+CH3OH) = (5.35 +/- 0.24) x 10(-11), k(Cl(2P(3/2))+C2H5OH) = (9.50 +/- 0.85) x 10(-11), k(Cl(2P(3/2))+n-C3H7OH) = (1.71 +/- 0.11) x 10(-10), and k(Cl(2P(3/2))+i-C3H7OH) = (9.11 +/- 0.60) x 10(-11). Measured rate constants for total removal of Cl*(2P(1/2)) in collisions with CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH were (1.95 +/- 0.13) x 10(-10), (2.48 +/- 0.18) x 10(-10), (3.13 +/- 0.18) x 10(-10), and (2.84 +/- 0.16) x 10(-10), respectively; quoted errors are two-standard deviations. Although spin-orbit excited Cl*(2P(1/2)) atoms have 2.52 kcal/mol more energy than Cl(2P(3/2)), the rates of chemical reaction of Cl*(2P(1/2)) with CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH are only 60-90% of the corresponding Cl(2P(3/2)) atom reactions. Under ambient conditions spin-orbit excited Cl* atoms are responsible for 0.5%, 0.5%, 0.4%, and 0.7% of the observed reactivity of thermalized Cl atoms toward CH3OH, C2H5OH, n-C3H7OH, and i-C3H7OH, respectively.  相似文献

The dissociation of the hydroxymethyl radical, CH(2)OH, and its isotopolog, CD(2)OH, following excitation in the 4ν(1) region (OH stretch overtone, near 13,600 cm(-1)) was studied using sliced velocity map imaging. A new vibrational band near 13,660 cm(-1) arising from interaction with the antisymmetric CH stretch was discovered for CH(2)OH. In CD(2)OH dissociation, D atom products (correlated with CHDO) were detected, providing the first experimental evidence of isomerization in the CH(2)OH ? CH(3)O (CD(2)OH ? CHD(2)O) system. Analysis of the H (D) fragment kinetic energy distributions shows that the rovibrational state distributions in the formaldehyde cofragments are different for the OH bond fission and isomerization pathways. Isomerization is responsible for 10%-30% of dissociation events in all studied cases, and its contribution depends on the excited vibrational level of the radical. Accurate dissociation energies were determined: D(0)(CH(2)OH → CH(2)O + H) = 10,160 ± 70 cm(-1), D(0)(CD(2)OH → CD(2)O + H) = 10,135 ± 70 cm(-1), D(0)(CD(2)OH → CHDO + D) = 10,760 ± 60 cm(-1).  相似文献

The formation of CH(3) in the 248 or 266 nm photolysis of acetone (CH(3)C(O)CH(3)), 2-butanone (methylethylketone, MEK, CH(3)C(O)C(2)H(5)) and acetyl bromide (CH(3)C(O)Br) was examined using the pulsed photolytic generation of the radical and its detection by transient absorption spectroscopy at 216.4 nm. Experiments were carried out at room temperature (298 +/- 3 K) and at pressures between approximately 5 and 1500 Torr N(2). Quantum yields for CH(3) formation were derived relative to CH(3)I photolysis at the same wavelength in back-to-back experiments. For acetone at 248 nm, the yield of CH(3) was greater than unity at low pressures (1.42 +/- 0.15 extrapolated to zero pressure) confirming that a substantial fraction of the CH(3)CO co-product can dissociate to CH(3) + CO under these conditions. At pressures close to atmospheric the quantum yield approached unity, indicative of almost complete collisional relaxation of the CH(3)CO radical. Measurements of increasing CH(3)CO yield with pressure confirmed this. Contrasting results were obtained at 266 nm, where the yields of CH(3) (and CH(3)CO) were close to unity (0.93 +/- 0.1) and independent of pressure, strongly suggesting that nascent CH(3)CO is insufficiently activated to decompose on the time scales of these experiments at 298 K. In the 248 nm photolysis of CH(3)C(O)Br, CH(3) was observed with a pressure independent quantum yield of 0.92 +/- 0.1 and CH(3)CO remained below the detection limit, suggesting that CH(3)CO generated from CH(3)COBr photolysis at 248 nm is too highly activated to be quenched by collision. Similar to CH(3)C(O)CH(3), the photolysis of CH(3)C(O)C(2)H(5) at 248 nm revealed pressure dependent yields of CH(3), decreasing from 0.45 at zero pressure to 0.19 at pressures greater than 1000 Torr with a concomitant increase in the CH(3)CO yield. As part of this study, the absorption cross section of CH(3) at 216.4 nm (instrumental resolution of 0.5 nm) was measured to be (4.27 +/- 0.2) x 10(-17) cm(2) molecule(-1) and that of C(2)H(5) at 222 nm was (2.5 +/- 0.6) x 10(-18) cm(2) molecule(-1). An absorption spectrum of gas-phase CH(3)C(O)Br (210-305 nm) is also reported for the first time.  相似文献
