In this paper, we introduce two classes of variational-like inequalities with generalized monotone mappings in Banach spaces. Using the KKM technique, we obtain the existence of solutions for variational-like inequalities with relaxed – monotone mappings in reflexive Banach spaces. We present also the solvability of variational-like inequalities with relaxed – semimonotone mappings in arbitrary Banach spaces by means of the Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed-point theorem. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of Refs. 1–6. 相似文献

Given a family of real-valued functions defined in a normed vector space X, we study a class of -convex functions having a simpler representation for the --subdifferential. The case =X* with X being a Banach space (the Fenchel case) is particularly analysed, and we find that the sublinear lower semicontinuous functions satisfy the simpler representation with respect to X*. As a side result, we provide various new subdifferential-type charaterizations of positively homogeneous functions among those which are lower semicontinuous and convex. In addition, we also discuss that family related to the the so-called prox-bounded functions. Landau's theory of -eigenvalues for bounded linear operators is well suited to cope with difficulties arising from the lack of usual eigenvalues. The notion of -eigenvalue is studied here in the general setting of positively homogeneous multivalued operators. The adjoint relation between the category RegFrm, of regular -frames, Alex, of Alexandroff spaces, are studied in [9]. In this paper, we consider the system of vector quasi-equilibrium problems with or without involving -condensing maps and prove the existence of its solution. Consequently, we get existence results for a solution to the system of vector quasi-variational-like inequalities. We also prove the equivalence between the system of vector quasi-variational-like inequalities and the Debreu type equilibrium problem for vector-valued functions. As an application, we derive some existence results for a solution to the Debreu type equilibrium problem for vector-valued functions. 相似文献

In this paper we suggest a new general formalism for studying the L2 invariants of polyhedra and manifolds. First, we examine generality in which one may apply the construction of the extended Abelian category, which was earlier suggested by the author using the ideas of P. Freyd. This leads to the notions of a finite von Neumann category and a trace on such a category. Given a finite von Neumann category, we study the extended L2 homology and cohomology theories with values in the Abelian extension. Any trace on the initial category produces numerical invariants – the von Neumann dimension and the Novikov–Shubin numbers. Thus, we obtain the local versions of the Novikov–Shubin invariants, localized at different traces. In the Abelian case this localization can be made more geometric: we show that any torsion object determines a divisor – a closed subspace of the space of the parameters. The divisors of torsion objects together with the information produced by the local Novikov–Shubin invariants may be used to study multiplicities of intersections of algebraic and analytic varieties (we discuss here only simple examples demonstrating this possibility). We compute explicitly the divisors and the von Neumann dimensions of the extended L2 cohomology in the real analytic situation. We also give general formulae for the extended L2 cohomology of a mapping torus. Finally, we show how one can define a De Rham version of the extended cohomology and prove a De Rhamtype theorem. 相似文献

Sustainable economic development requires the inclusion of environmental factors in the decision making procedure. The generic objective of the Environmentally Sensitive Investment System (ESIS) Project is to provide industry and governmental departments or agencies with a tool to assess the technical and economic implications of capital-intensive projects, in response to stated environmental policies. More specifically, the ESIS prototype helps to find wastewater management alternatives that meet given environmental regulatory standards in a technologically sound and cost-efficient manner. The use of this decision support system will enhance the ability of managers and planners to explore the quantitative implications of a wide range of options. ESIS incorporates a combination of artificial intelligence and operations research techniques, database management and visualization tools, integrated under a graphical user interface. We consider a two-level optimization problem corresponding to a Stackelberg game in which the response function of the follower is multivalued and some convexity assumption on the data is missing. We establish the existence of extreme solutions for a class of nonlinear second-order evolution inclusions with a nonconvex right-hand side defined on an evolution triple of Banach spaces. Then we show that extreme solutions which belong to the solution set of the original system are in fact dense and codense in the solution set of a system with a convexified right-hand side. The necessary and sufficient conditions for closedness of the solution set for the original system in an appropriate spaces of functions are given as well. Given a fixed point free antianalytic involution k of a domain G in thecomplex plane, bounded by a finite number of analytic curves, k-invariant Greensfunctions are defined on G. The Lindelöfs principle is extended to k-invariantGreens functions. When G is the annulus, k-invariant Greens functions areobtained in the explicit form. Many problems of convex programming can be reduced to finding a zero of the sum of two maximal monotone operators. For solving this problem, there exists a variety of methods such as the forward–backward method, the Peaceman–Rachford method, the Douglas–Rachford method, and more recently the -scheme. This last method has been presented without general convergence analysis by Glowinski and Le Tallec and seems to give good numerical results. The purpose of this paper is first to present convergence results and an estimation of the rate of convergence for this recent method, and then to apply it to variational inequalities and structured convex programming problems to get new parallel decomposition algorithms. 相似文献
