A stack of annular detectors made of high-purity germanium was used to measure simultaneously pd → 3H π+ and pd → 3He π0 differential cross sections at beam momenta of 750 MeV/c, 800 MeV/c, and 850 MeV/c over a large angular range. The extracted total cross sections for the pd → 3He π0 reactions bridge a gap between near threshold data and those in the resonance region. The ratio of the cross sections for the two reaction channels taken at the same η=pcmπ/mπ yields 2.11±0.08 indicating that a deviation from isospin symmetry is very small.  相似文献

The 3He(p, 2p)d and 3He(p, pd)p reactions have been compared at three bombarding energies from 65 to 100 MeV. A comparison of plane wave impulse approximation calculations to the experimental data indicates that multiple scattering effects are large and energy dependent but that they primarily produce a uniform reduction in cross section. Although multiple scattering effects are large the ratio of the cross sections for the two reactions is in agreement with that predicted by the impulse approximation.  相似文献

Cross sections have been measured for the transitions to the ground state and first excited state of 8Be and to the two 2+ levels at 16.63 MeV and 16.93 MeV excitation in the reaction 10B(p, 3He) at Ep = 49.5 MeV. The effect of deuteron breakup in d-nucleus reaction is treated with the continuum discretized coupled channels (CDCC) approach, and the effects on the total reaction cross sections and elastic scattering angular distributions are studied by comparing the calculations of CDCC and spherical optical model with our global deuteron optical potential [Phys. Rev. C 73 (2006) 054605] below 200 MeV, for target nuclei ranging from 12C to 208Pb. The contributions from the closed channels to the total reaction and breakup cross sections, and angular distributions of elastic scattering are also seriously discussed.  相似文献

近年来,越来越多的实验表明,很多轻奇特核结构中都有核心激发成分。本研究以丰中子晕核11Be为例,介绍核心激发成分的实验和理论研究进展,重点阐述核心激发成分对直接核反应微分截面的影响。实验上,1n移除反应及11Be(p,d)和10Be(d,p)转移反应是测量11Be核心激发成分比例的典型实验类型。理论上,发展了能够包括11Be核心激发成分的Faddeev AGS方法,XDWBA方法以及XCDCC方法。加入核心激发成分后,这些模型的计算结果可以更加合理地描述11Be在各种靶上的弹性散射和碎裂微分截面。通过对比是否包含核心激发成分的计算结果,发现其影响主要体现在弹散微分截面的大质心系角度,以及(p,d)转移反应角分布的小质心系角度。另外,对Ex=0:5s3 MeV的激发能区的碎裂反应,核心激发的影响不可忽略;对Ex=3s5:5 MeV的碎裂反应,核心激发的贡献非常重要。It was found that many light exotic nuclei have the core-excitation components. In this paper, taking one-neutron halo nucleus 11Be for example, the experimental and theoretical research progress, as well as the influences on the direct nuclear reaction differential cross sections of this exotic component were reviewed. The 1n removal, 11Be(p, d) and 10Be(d, p) transfer reactions are typical experimental methods to investigate this component. The Faddeev AGS, the XDWBA, and the XCDCC methods are developed to include this constituent in various theoretical models. With the core-excitation component, the calculated results can more reasonably describe the elastic scattering and breakup differential cross sections of 11Be impinging on various targets. Comparing the full XCDCC calculation with that omitting core-excitation effect, we found that this component mainly affects the elastic scattering differential cross sections at large center-of-mass angles, and the (p, d) transfer reaction angular distributions at small center-of-mass angles. In addition, its effect is non-negligible for the breakup reaction within the excitation energy interval of Ex = 0:5~3 MeV, and is remarkable for Ex =3 5:5 MeV.  相似文献

深垒下能区的12C+13C熔合截面测量对检验天体中熔合反应外推模型具有很重要的意义。目前在库仑位垒以下能区存在的各种测量结果,都利用了统计模型来修正得到熔合截面,但对于这些方法间的系统误差仍没有很好地研究。实验采用离线活度测量的方法,在Ec.m.=4.4~5.8 MeV能区内对12C+13C熔合截面进行测量。经Hauser-Feshbach统计模型对分支比的修正后,熔合总截面由24Na活度推导出。通过本实验数据与其它实验方法获得的数据进行比较,确定了统计模型的系统误差为14%。The study of fusion reactions of 12C+13C at the deep sub-barrier energies is very important for the test of predictive power of the extrapolation models for nuclear reactions for astrophysics. Until now, all the measurements below Coulomb barrier energies have to use the statistical model calculations to estimate the branching ratios to deduce the total fusion cross sections. However, the systematic uncertainty induced by the calculated corrections has not been studied well. In this experiment, the fusion cross sections of 12C+13C have been measured using an offline activity measurement in the range of Ec.m.=4.4 to 5.8 MeV. The total fusion cross sections have been deduced from the 24Na activities after correcting the branching ratios estimated with the Hauser-Feshbach statistical model. Through the comparison between our result and other data obtained with other methods, the systematic uncertainty of statistical model has been determined to be 14%.  相似文献

The total cross sections and the differential cross sections of π+-4He elastic and inelastic reactions at Eπ=120, 145 and 165 MeV have been measured using a 38 cm diffusion cloud chamber in a magnetic field exposed to the Frascati Laboratories' pion beam. Total π+ track lengths of (2141 ± 10) × 103 cm, (3435 ± 10) × 103 cm and (2413 ± 10) × 103 cm were measured at the three considered energies, respectively. The elastic cross-section data are in good agreement with the results of the Dubna-Torino collaboration. The total inelastic cross sections have been obtained taking into account the contributions from all the inelastic channels. The analysis of the various inelastic processes has allowed us to distinguish five main reaction mechanisms, which compare reasonably with the existing data and with the models for pion-light-nuclei interactions.  相似文献

On the basis of the successful studies on pick-up mechanism of composite particle emission and the angular distribution of single nucleon emissions, a theoretical method for calculating double differential cross sections of α particle emissions is propoLed. As an example, the double differential cross sections of α particles in the neutron induced reaction 56Fe(n, xα) have been calculated at En = 14.5 MeV. The intrinsic product polarization and intramolecular isotope effect of the S(~1D,~3P) + HD reaction have been investigated on both the lowest singlet state(1A) and the triplet state(3A and 3A) potential energy surfaces by using quasi-classical trajectory and quantum mechanical methods.The calculations indicate that intramolecular isotope effects are different on the three electronic states.The stereodynamics study shows that the P(θr) distributions,P(φ r) distributions,and polarization-dependent differential cross sections(PDDCSs)(00) are sensitive to mass factor and the product angular momentum vectors are not only aligned but also oriented.  相似文献

Recently a new formalism has been developed to described nuclear electromagnetic response within the continuum RPA theory. This model is extended in order to calculate cross sections for weak interactions in nuclei, in particular for inelastic neutrino scattering. The results of a numerical analysis are presented for 12C and 16O. We consider neutrino spectra like those generated in muon decay (relevant for terrestrial experiments) or in a supernova explosion. For the latter case we calculate neutral current cross sections for various neutrino-induced particle reactions on 12C and 16O, relevant for the ν-nucleosynthesis.  相似文献

A novel scheme for measuring the cross section of the 7Be(p,γ)8B reaction, the major source of high energy neutrinos from the sun, is presented. The scheme involves a strictly uniform particle beam and overcomes some of the recognized experimental uncertainties of previous measurements. A new measurement of σ[7Li(d,p)8Li] has been carried out using this setup, and the present value of σ[7Li(d,p)8Li] = 155(8) mb at the top of the Ed(lab.) = 776 keV resonance is compared with previous measurements. A new issue regarding both the (d,p) and (p,γ) reactions has been examined: reaction-product nuclei which are backscattered out of the target. Measurements and simulations carried out in the course of this investigation are presented and discussed in the context of possible effects on the measured cross sections of these reactions.  相似文献

In the framework of KMT multiple scattering theory, an optical potential for the intermediate energy proton-160 elastic scattering is presented based on the α particle model of 160. The differential cross sections, the analyzing powers, and the total cross sections of the intermediate energy proton-160 scattering have been calculated by using the obtained optical potential. The main features of the measured angular distributions of the cross section and the analyzing power can be well described. The calculated total cross sections are in good agreement with the experimental data at energies below 0.7 GeV and underestimate the data about 8% at higher energies.  相似文献

Excitation functions, angular distributions and differential ranges were measured for the 26Mg(18O, 16O)28Mg reaction at 18O beam energies of 20–45 MeV. Excitation functions only were measured for the reactions 14C(18O, 19O)13C, 14C(18O, 16O)16C, 14C(18O, 20O)12C, 14C(18O, 15N)17N and 18O(18O, 19O)17O, 18O(18O, 16O)20O, 18O(18O, 15N)21F at 18O beam energies of 13–41 MeV. We have identified these as direct reactions in which a single neutron, a two-neutron cluster, a deuteron and a triton are transferred between projectile and target.

The cross sections for two-neutron transfer reactions were found to be relatively high and those for the 18O+18O and the 14C+18O reactions were higher than the ones of single-neutron transfers over most of the energy range.

Attempts were made to apply the theory of Buttle and Goldfarb for single-neutron transfer to the case of two-neutron transfer in the 26Mg(18O, 16O)28Mg reaction below the Coulomb barrier. It is shown that for those reactions for which the assumptions, implicit in the model, are valid, good agreement is obtained with experiment. We also tried to apply the diffraction model of Dar and Kozlovsky to the calculation of the angular distribution of these reactions. A good fit to the experimental results could be obtained if quite different sets of parameters were used in the calculations for the two bombarding energies.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the reactions 16O(γ, ππ+−)16F16F to the sum of the four lowest lying states in 16F and 16N have been measured as a function of angle for pions with a kinetic energy of 30 MeV. The extracted ratios R = σ(γ, π)/σ(γ, π+), the first ones to discrete final states as a function of angle, are in fair agreement with results obtained for the nucleon. For positive pions the energy dependence of the cross section has been measured at the angles of 45° and 90°. Distorted wave impulse approximation calculations fail to describe the energy dependence.  相似文献

We recently measured high-statistics and high-resolution spectra of p-shell Λ hypernuclei produced by the (π+, K+) reaction. In this article, cross sections and their angular distributions of Λ12C and Λ16O are reported. The obtained cross sections are well reproduced by DWIA calculations.  相似文献

Inclusive proton-induced charged pion production was studied on 12C, 89Y and natPb at 201 and 180 MeV. A QQD spectrometer was used for forward angles and a plastic scintillator range spectrometer for backward angles. The angular dependence, variation with the pion energy, and total cross sections are deduced from doubly differential cross section measurements.  相似文献

Based on the unified Hauser-Feshbach and exciton model for light nuclei, the calculations of reaction cross sections and the double-differential cross sections for n+6Li are performed. Since all of the first-particle emissions are from the compound nucleus to the discrete levels, the angular momentum coupling effect in pre-equilibrium mechanism must be taken into account. The fitting of the measured data indicates that the three-body break-up process needs to be involved, and the pre-equilibrium reaction mechanism dominates the reaction processes. In light nucleus reactions the recoil effect must be taken into account.  相似文献

In this investigation I develop a three-body model for the single scattering optical potential in which the nucleon binding and the Pauli principle are accounted for. A unitarity pole approximation is used for the nucleon-core interaction. Calculations are presented for the π−4He elastic scattering cross sections at energies below the inelastic threshold and for the real part of the π−4He scattering length by solving the three-body equations. Off-shell kinematics and the Pauli principle are carefully taken into account.

The binding correction and the Pauli principle correction each have an important effect on the differential cross sections and the scattering length. However, large cancellations occur between these two effects. I find an increase in the π−4He scattering length by 100%; an increase in the cross sections by 20–30% and shift of the minimum in π−4He scattering to forward angles by 10°.  相似文献

Based on the isospin-dependent Boltzmann–Langevin model, the dynamical fluctuations in the fragmentation reaction of 112Sn+112Sn are investigated. The quadrupole moment and octupole moment with zero magnetic quantum number have large fluctuations in the early time of the collisions. The dynamical fluctuations in momentum space show a strong dependence on the incident energy. The effects of using different fluctuations on the fragment cross sections are also studied in the fragmentation reactions. The results by using Q20 + Q30 fluctuation have a better agreement with the experimental data. Calculations using Q20 + Q30 fluctuation produce more proton-rich and neutron-rich nuclei than those using Q20 fluctuation only. Besides, the difference between the production cross sections of fragments calculated by using Q20 and Q20 + Q30 fluctuations is larger in the vicinity of the projectile. These results present that the dynamical fluctuations may affect the whole dynamical process of fragmentation reactions including the production of fragments, due to the nonlinear nature of the Boltzmann–Langevin equation.  相似文献
