Single shot nanosecond polarization resolved laser induced breakdown spectroscopy is introduced to spectrally analyse solid sample, e.g. copper. It is shown that continuum background emission of plasma generated by such laser pulse is much strongly polarized than discrete line radiation. By using the PRLIBS technique, continuum background emission is effectively suppressed. Furthermore, it is illustrated that polarization state of continuum emission in copper sample is mostly in vertical direction and, also, does not depend on laser beam polarization.  相似文献

Vanadium oxide thin films were prepared by sol-gel method, then subjected to Nd:YAG laser (CW, 1064 nm) radiation. The characteristics of the films were changed by varying the intensity of the laser radiation. The nanocrystalline films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). XRD revealed that above 102 W/cm2 the original xerogel structure disappears and above 129 W/cm2 the films become totally polycrystalline with an orthorhombic structure. From TEM observations, we can see that due to laser radiation, the originally fibrillar-like particles disappear and irregular shaped, layer structured V2O5 particles are created. From XPS spectra we can conclude that due to laser radiation the O/V ratio increased with higher intensities.  相似文献

The paper compares laser cleaning trials performed using a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, λ = 1.064 μm and a continuous wave (CW) CO2 laser, λ = 10.6 μm, applied to aerospace-grade, contaminated titanium alloys. The mechanisms for cleaning using each laser system are modelled to determine the mode and extent of contaminant removal. The model results are then compared with the surface chemistry and micro-structural results from the cleaning trials performed. The results show the dominant cleaning process for Nd:YAG cleaning to be by evaporation of the contaminant via conduction through surface heating, while for CO2 laser cleaning the small fraction of the beam coupling directly with the contaminant is sufficient for direct heating and selective evaporation. The results for experimental cleaning, electron beam (EB) welding and diffusion bonding align well with the model, particularly when secondary reactions are taken into account.  相似文献

Determination of elemental composition of cement powder plays an important role in the cement and construction industries. In the present paper, Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is used for measuring the concentration of cement ingredient. Cement powder samples are pressed into pellets. Laser pulses are focused on the surface of pellets. A microplasma is formed in the front of samples. The plasma emission contains information about the elemental composition of the samples. By assumption of local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE) and using several standard cement samples, a calibration curve is prepared for each element. The major and minor elements of cement such as Ca, Si, K, Mg, Al, Na, Ti, Mn and Sr are qualitatively and quantitatively determined. For verification of LTE conditions, plasma parameters such as plasma electron temperature and electron density are computed. According to the obtained results, the LIBS technique could be a suitable method for determination of elemental composition in the cement production industries.  相似文献

Optical emission spectra of the plasma produced by 1.06 μm Nd:YAG laser ablation of SnO2:Sb transparent conducting thin film were recorded and analyzed as functions of distance from the target surface and incident laser power density in air and in vacuum. Ambient gas effects on pulsed laser ablation of target were analyzed in detail. We also discussed how the air takes part in the plasma evolution process and confirmed that the ignition of the air plasma is by the collisions between the energetic electrons and the nitrogen atoms through a cascade avalanche process.  相似文献

The visible electronic spectrum of AuO has been recorded at rotational resolution using intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy. Five vibrational bands have been analyzed and assigned as the (0, 0), (1, 0), (2, 0), (3, 0), and (4, 0) bands of the b4Π3/2-X2Π3/2 transition of AuO. The molecular parameters for the newly identified b4Π3/2 state are presented.  相似文献

Thermal effects in Nd:YAG planar waveguide lasers with non-symmetrical claddings are discussed. The heat generated in the active core can be removed more efficiently by directly contacting the active core to the heat sink. Several cladding materials are compared to optimize the heat removal. Furthermore, uniform pumping is achieved with oblique edge-pumping technique. Using quasi-CW pumping at 1 KHz repetition rate, an average output power of 280 W with a slope efficiency of 38% is obtained with a positive unstable resonator.  相似文献

针对激光诱导击穿光谱(LIBS)在海洋应用中的问题,对1 064和532nm两个激发波长下水中LIBS光谱特性进行探测分析,以比较其烧蚀效果。通过激光诱导等离子体的时间分辨光谱,分析水下等离子体电子密度随时间的演化规律,1 064nm激光诱导等离子体寿命约为1 200ns,而532nm激光激发情况下等离子体寿命仅约为600ns。基于光在水中的传输特性和LIBS的实验结果,建立了获得最佳LIBS探测效果所需的入水前激光脉冲能量Eiopt(r)与探测距离r的关系,并应用到水下原位探测的模拟分析。结果表明,当探测距离不大于5cm时,所需的入水前1 064nm激光单脉冲能量小于100mJ,该激发波长可用于LIBS的水下探测;当探测距离增至10cm时,所需的入水前532nm激光单脉冲能量只需30mJ左右。因此,当原位探测距离增加时,则需考虑选择532nm激光作为烧蚀光源。  相似文献

为了了解采用脉冲CO2激光推进空气呼吸模式时光船参数等对产生等离子体的影响,介绍了利用实验室自行研制的紫外预电离TEA CO2激光器进行的激光等离子体实验。实验采用底面直径为60mm、焦距为5mm和10mm的抛物面光船。介绍了空气呼吸模式激光等离子体的谱和明显的特征谱线,以及等离子体的时间演化过程。结果表明:空气呼吸模式等离子体的持续时间约为20μs,在6μs左右时信号强度达到最大值;激光脉冲作用后,信号迅速衰减;10mm光船产生的等离子体信号峰值和持续时间均略长于5mm光船的。  相似文献

The Far Infrared (FIR) laser Stark spectrum ofSO 2 was investigated using the 337 m line of the HCN laser. Two distinct families, one originating at low field and the other at high field, were observed. The high field transition is identified as theJ K–1,K+1=225,17214,18, v2=1 transition. A significant fourth-order Stark shift was observed for this transition in the presence of a large second-order Stark shift. Thin films of CaF2 co-doped with low concentrations of Eu and Sm ions were grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) using a KrF (λ=248 nm) as the ablation source. To the best of our knowledge, the work presented here is the first report of rare-earth-doped CaF2 films grown by PLD with this source. Combined laser excitation-emission spectroscopy was used to map out electronic transitions of Eu3+ with 7F05D1 excitation and the 5D07F1 emission. At the low concentrations used here the crystal field center of cubic symmetry is dominant in the films that are same for laser targets. However, charge compensated centers are present in the bulk crystal precursor. The removal of the charge compensated centers in the films and the target is likely caused by the target preparation where high pressure and temperature were applied.  相似文献

In the present work, we present the spatial evolution of the copper plasma produced by the fundamental harmonic (1064 nm) and second harmonic (532 nm) of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The experimentally observed line profiles of neutral copper have been used to extract the electron temperature using the Boltzmann plot method, whereas, the electron number density has been determined from the Stark broadening. Besides we have studied the variation of electron temperature and electron number density as a function of laser energy at atmospheric pressure. The Cu I lines at 333.78, 406.26, 465.11 and 515.32 nm are used for the determination of electron temperature. The relative uncertainty in the determination of electron temperature is ≈10%. The electron temperature calculated for the fundamental harmonic (1064 nm) of Nd:YAG laser is 10500–15600 K, and that for the second harmonic (532 nm) of Nd:YAG laser is 11500–14700 K at a Q Switch delay of 40 μs. The electron temperature has also been calculated as a function of laser energy from the target surface for both modes of the laser. We have also studied the spatial behavior of the electron number density in the plume. The electron number densities close to the target surface (0.05 mm), in the case of fundamental harmonic (1064 nm) of Nd:YAG laser having pulse energy 135 mJ and second harmonic (532 nm) of Nd:YAG laser with pulse energy 80 mJ are 2.50×1016 and 2.60×1016 cm−3, respectively.  相似文献

在对激光诱导击穿光谱数据分析的基础上提出了一种可以用于元素定量分析的方法。该方法利用傅里叶分析的方法研究了光谱数据中的不同部分(白噪声、热辐射噪声和原子发射光谱),通过带通滤波实现发射光谱与大部分噪声的分离,得到仅含少量白噪声的发射光谱;通过计算待量化元素谱线与其对应单位强度特征谱线的相似度引入卷积强度来衡量待测谱线的强度。选取Cu 324.75nm作为分析线,Ti 337.28nm谱线作为参考线,采用上述方法对含微量Cu元素土壤样品进行了测量。实验结果显示:Cu元素含量和其卷积强度的线性系数达到0.997 9,计算得到土壤中Cu元素的检测限为44mg.kg-1,达到国家土壤环境质量标准规定的二级土壤中Cu含量要求,测量相对误差在10%以内,表明该方法能够满足土壤微量重金属检测简便、快速的要求。  相似文献

Optical emission spectra of Nd:YAG laser ablation of KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystal and SnO2:Sb transparent conducting thin film were recorded and analyzed in vacuum and in air. The integral intensities of spectral lines from laser-ablated KTP crystal were obtained as functions of distance from the target surface and laser power density in vacuum and in air. The ambient gas effects on pulsed laser ablation of target were discussed. We also performed laser ablation of SnO2:Sb transparent conducting thin film in air and the electron temperature and full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of atomic and ionic spectral lines in the plasma were quantified using Boltzmann plot method and Lorentzian fit, respectively. Integral intensities of atomic and ionic Sn spectral lines were also obtained as functions of distance from the target surface and laser irradiance. The intensity ratio of ionic and atomic Sn spectral lines as a function of laser power density was got which gives some information about the variation of ionization ratio with laser irradiance in the plasma produced by high-power laser.  相似文献

将激光诱导击穿光谱技术(LIBS)应用于复混肥中的主要营养元素之一钾(K)元素的含量检测。样品中K养分的浓度较高,在等离子体形成过程中容易发生自吸收。通过分析谱线的激发能级、跃迁几率以及自吸收程度,确定最佳分析谱线为钾的原子线404.40 nm。同时为了提高LIBS分析复合肥样品的测量精度,分析了光谱测量稳定性随谱线信号平均次数的变化规律。结果显示,在本实验条件下,一次测量平均100个脉冲所得的光谱信号,其相对标准偏差较小。实验总共分析了9个复合肥样品,其中7个作为定标样品,建立K养分浓度的定标曲线,另外2个作为未知样品,用以检验LIBS分析K养分浓度的测量精确度。研究结果表明,定标曲线的线性拟合度为0.989,检验样品的绝对误差小于0.3%,体现了激光诱导击穿光谱技术快速分析复混肥中钾养分的潜力。  相似文献

Improving the dimensional accuracy along the optical axis without decreasing the materials removing rate is a key issue in three-dimensional laser shaping. This paper presents a concept for performing three-dimensional laser shaping by directly using machining laser as the photo source of the non-contacting measuring device. Due to the high power measuring photo source and a 1.06 μm bandpass filter, the interference caused by the emission light of ablated surface can be effectively avoided, the delay time is not needed to be inserted between the laser pulse and the measurement. So the measurement will not decrease the material removal rate and productivity. By using this system, the shaping accuracy of 30 μm can be achieved at the removing rate of about 4.0×10−2 mm3/sec for Si3N4 ceramic, both are much better than the results obtained before.  相似文献

A beam-modulating system based on the rotating polygon has been proposed in a previous experimental work [14]. The aim was to improve the quality and efficiency of CO2 laser surface texturing. Based on the generalized ABCD law, the focusing characteristics of a real beam through the modulating system are investigated in this paper. By introducing a precise defocusing, the velocity synchronization between the focal spot and the workpiece can be realized. Micro-dimples of nearly circular shape can be achieved on the surface. Surface texturing of mill roll has been performed. The experimental and theoretical results are in good agreement.  相似文献

建立了激光诱导偏振光谱(LIPS)和激光诱导荧光(LIF)联合的燃烧流场诊断系统,测量了CH4/AIR预混火焰中心不同高度处的OH荧光光谱和激光诱导偏振光谱,计算了OH的浓度及燃烧场温度分布。分析了燃烧炉表面对荧光收集效率的影响,并对两种技术的测量数据进行了分析比对,获得了火焰中心OH密度的分布规律。实验结果表明,联合LIPS和LIF两种技术测量CH4/AIR预混火焰参数是可行的,两种技术测量结果的一致性较好,OH浓度的相对偏差小于5%,温度的相对偏差小于8%。  相似文献

Apatite coating was applied on titanium surfaces modified by Nd:YVO4 laser ablations with different energy densities (fluency) at ambient pressure and atmosphere. The apatites were deposited by biomimetic method using a simulated body fluid solution that simulates the salt concentration of bodily fluids. The titanium surfaces submitted to the fast melting and solidification processes (ablation) were immersed in the simulated body fluid solution for four days. The samples were divided into two groups, one underwent heat treatment at 600 °C and the other dried at 37 °C. For the samples treated thermally the diffractograms showed the formation of a phase mixture, with the presence of the hydroxyapatite, tricalcium phosphate, calcium deficient hydroxyapatite, carbonated hydroxyapatite and octacalcium phosphate phases. For the samples dried only the formation of the octacalcium phosphate and hydroxyapatite phases was verified. The infrared spectra show bands relative to chemical bonds confirmed by the diffraction analyses. The coating of both the samples with and without heat treatment present dense morphology and made up of a clustering of spherical particles ranging from 5 to 20 μm. Based on the results we infer that the modification of implant surfaces employing laser ablations leads to the formation of oxides that help the formation of hydroxyapatite without the need of a heat treatment.  相似文献
