The complex formation equilibria of [Pt(SMC)(H(2)O)(2)](+) and [Pt(terpy)H(2)O](2+), where SMC =S-methyl-L-cysteine and terpy = 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine, with some biologically relevant ligands such as inosine (INO), inosine-5'-monophosphate (5'-IMP), guanosine-5'-monophosphate (5'-GMP) and glutathione (GSH) were studied. The stoichiometry and stability constants of the complexes formed are reported, and the concentration distribution of the various complex species have been evaluated as a function of pH. Also the kinetics and mechanism of the complex formation reactions were studied as a function of nucleophile concentration and temperature. For the complex [Pt(SMC)(H(2)O)(2)](+), two consecutive reaction steps, which both depend on the nucleophile concentration, were observed under all conditions. The negative entropies of activation support an associative complex formation mechanism. Reaction of guanosine-5'-monophosphate (5'-GMP) with Pt(II) complexes was carried out in the presence and absence of glutathione (GSH) at neutral pH. The rate constants clearly showed a kinetic preference toward GSH at neutral pH. The reactions were also monitored by HPLC. However, only a small amount of coordinated 5'-GMP was detected in the HPLC trace. The products were isolated and characterized by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.  相似文献

Substitution reactions of the complexes [Pt(terpy)(H(2)O)](2+), [Pt(terpy)(cyst-S)](2+) and [Pt(terpy)(guo-N(7))](2+), where terpy = 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine, cyst = L-cysteine and guo = guanosine, with some biologically relevant ligands such as inosine (INO), inosine-5'-monophosphate (5'-IMP), guanosine-5'-monophosphate (5'-GMP), l-cysteine, glutathione, thiourea, thiosulfate and diethyldithiocarbamate (DEDTC), were studied in aqueous 0.10 M NaClO(4) at pH 2.5 and 6.0 using variable-temperature and -pressure stopped-flow spectrophotometry. The reactions of [Pt(terpy)(H(2)O)](2+) with INO, 5'-IMP and 5'-GMP showed that these ligands are very good nucleophiles. The second order rate constants varied between 4 x 10(2) and 6 x 10(2) M(-1) s(-1) at 25 degree C. The [Pt(terpy)(cyst-S)](2+) complex is unreactive towards nitrogen donor nucleophiles, and cysteine cannot be replaced by N(7) from INO, 5'-IMP and 5'-GMP. However, sulfur donor nucleophiles such as thiourea, thiosulfate and diethyldithiocarbamate could displace the Pt-cysteine bond. Diethyldithiocarbamate is the best nucleophile and the order of reactivity is: thiourea < thiosulfate < DEDTC with rate constants of 0.936 +/- 0.002, 5.99 +/- 0.02 and 8.88 +/- 0.07 M(-1) s(-1) at 25 degree C, respectively. The reactions of [Pt(terpy)(guo-N(7))](2+) with sulfur donor ligands showed that these nucleophiles could substitute guanosine from the Pt(ii) complex, of which diethyldithiocarbamate and thiosulfate are the strongest nucleophiles. The tripeptide glutathione is also a very efficient nucleophile. Activation parameters (Delta H(++), Delta S(++) and Delta V(++)) were determined for all reactions. The crystal structures of [Pt(terpy)(cyst-S)](ClO(4))(2).0.5H(2)O and [Pt(terpy)(guo-N(7))](ClO(4))(2).0.5guo.1.5H(2)O were determined by X-ray diffraction. Crystals of [Pt(terpy)(cyst-S)](ClO(4))(2).0.5H(2)O are orthorhombic with the space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), whereas [Pt(terpy)(guo-N(7))](ClO(4))(2).0.5guo.1.5H(2)O crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2. A typical feature of terpyridine complexes can be found in both molecular structures: the Pt-N (central) bond distance, 1.982(7) and 1.92(2) A, respectively, is shorter than the other two Pt-N distances, being 2.043(7) and 2.034(7) A in [Pt(terpy)(cyst-S)](ClO(4))(2).0.5H(2)O and 2.03(2) and 2.04(2) A in [Pt(terpy)(guo-N(7))](ClO(4))(2).0.5guo.1.5H(2)O, respectively. In both crystal structures two symmetrically independent cations representing different conformers are present in the asymmetric unit. The results are analysed in reference to the antitumour activity of Pt(II) complexes, and the importance of the rescue agents are discussed.  相似文献

The complex Re(III)(benzil)(PPh(3))Cl(3) (2) is used to synthesize a variety of Re(III) and Re(II) polypyridyl complexes of the type cis-[Re(III)(L(2))(2)Cl(2)](+), [Re(II)(L(2))(3)](2+), Re(III)(L(3))Cl(3), [Re(III)(L(3))(2)Cl](2+), and [Re(III)(L(4))Cl(2)](+), where L(2) = bpy (3and 6), tbpy (4 and 7), phen (5 and 8); L(3) = terpy (9and 10); L(4) = TMPA (11). The complex cis-[Re(III)(bpy)(2)Cl(2)](+) (3) is a useful synthon in the formation of complexes of the type [Re(bpy)(2)L(x)()](n)()(+) that are six- or seven-coordinate Re(III) complexes (13, 16, and 18) or octahedral Re(II) or Re(I) complexes (12 and 17). The [Re(III)(terpy)(2)Cl](2+) (10) complex can be reduced to form the Re(I) complex, [Re(I)(terpy)(2)](+) (21) and then electrochemically reoxidized to form new complexes of the type [Re(III)(terpy)(2)L](n)()(+). Similar behavior is observed for the [Re(II)(bpy)(3)](2+) (6) complex where [Re(III)(bpy)(3)((t)BuNC)](3+) (20) and [Re(I)(bpy)(3)](+) (19) may be formed. The electrochemistry of these complexes is discussed in relation to their reactivity and the observed pi-acidity of the polypyridyl ligands. In addition, X-ray crystal structures for cis-[Re(III)(bpy)(2)Cl(2)]PF(6) (3) and [Re(I)(bpy)(3)]PF(6) (19) are reported. cis-[Re(III)(bpy)(2)Cl(2)]PF(6) (3, ReC(20)H(16)N(4)Cl(2)F(6)P) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with Z = 4 and lattice parameters a = 15.043(5) ?, b = 13.261(4) ?, c = 12.440(4) ?, and beta = 108.86(2) degrees at -100 degrees C. [Re(I)(bpy)(3)]PF(6) (19, ReC(30)H(24)N(6)F(6)P) crystallizes in the rhombohedral space group R&thremacr;c(h) (No. 167) with Z = 12 and lattice parameters a = 13.793(3) ? and c = 51.44(3) ? at -100 degrees C.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)](n) with bipy at different molar ratios, solvents or crystallisation conditions affords a series of two- and three-dimensional luminescent complexes, [AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)(bipy)(0.5)](n), [AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)(bipy)](n), [[Tl(bipy)][Tl(bipy)(0.5)(THF)][Au(C(6)Cl(5))(2)](2)](n), [[Tl(bipy)][Tl(bipy)(0.5)(THF)][Au(C(6)Cl(5))(2)](2)xTHF](n) and [[AuTl(C(6)Cl(5))(2)(bipy)]x0.5toluene](n)(bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine; THF = tetrahydrofuran) all of them containing polymeric chains formed via unsupported Au...Tl interactions and bridging bipyridine ligands.  相似文献

Kinetics of the substitution reactions between monofunctional Au(III) complexes, [Au(dien)Cl]2+, [Au(bpma)Cl]2+ and [Au(terpy)Cl]2+ (dien?=?3-azapentane-1,5-diamine, bpma?=?di-(2-picolyl) amine, terpy?=?2,2′;6′,2″-terpyridine), and biologically relevant sulphur ligands, namely glutathione (GSH), l-methionine (l-Met) and l-cysteine (l-Cys), were studied in 0.1 M HCl (pH?=?1.0). The reactions were followed under pseudo-first-order conditions as a function of ligand concentration and temperature using stopped-flow spectrophotometry. The [Au(terpy)Cl]2+ complex proved to be more reactive than the [Au(bpma)Cl]2+ and [Au(dien)Cl]2+ complexes. The reactivities of the nucleophiles follow the same order for all three complexes, viz. l-Met?>?GSH?>?l-Cys. Values of the activation parameters of the reactions support an associative substitution mechanism. In order to confirm that these monofunctional Au(III) complexes undergo a single substitution process in strongly acidic medium, the reaction between [Au(terpy)Cl]2+ and l-Met was studied by HPLC. At pH?=?1.0, only one reaction product was detected.  相似文献

We previously reported a size-focusing conversion of polydisperse gold nanoparticles capped by phosphine into monodisperse [Au(25)(PPh(3))(10)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)(5)Cl(2)](2+) nanoclusters in the presence of phenylethylthiol. Herein, we have determined the crystal structure of [Au(25)(PPh(3))(10)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)(5)Cl(2)](2+) nanoclusters and also identified an important side-product-a Au(I) complex formed in the size focusing process. The [Au(25)(PPh(3))(10)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)(5)Cl(2)](2+) cluster features a vertex-sharing bi-icosahedral core, resembling a rod. The formula of the Au(I) complex is determined to be [Au(2)(PPh(3))(2)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)](+) by electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometry, and its crystal structure (with SbF(6)(-) counterion) reveals Au-Au bridged by -SC(2)H(4)Ph and with terminal bonds to two PPh(3) ligands. Unlike previously reported [Au(2)(PR(3))(2)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)](+) complexes in the solid state, which exist as tetranuclear complexes (i.e., dimers of [Au(2)(PR(3))(2)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)](+) units) through a Au···Au aurophilic interaction, in our case we found that the [Au(2)(PPh(3))(2)(SC(2)H(4)Ph)](+) complex exists as a single entity, rather than being dimerized to form a tetranuclear complex. The observation of this Au(I) complex allows us to gain insight into the intriguing conversion process from polydisperse Au nanoparticles to monodisperse Au(25) nanoclusters.  相似文献

Nitrosylruthenium complexes containing 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine (terpy) have been synthesized and characterized. The three alkoxo complexes trans-(NO, OCH3), cis-(Cl, OCH3)-[RuCl(OCH3)(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([2]PF6), trans-(NO, OC2H5), cis-(Cl, OC2H5)-[RuCl(OC2H5)(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([3]PF6), and [RuCl(OC3H7)(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([4]PF6) were synthesized by reactions of trans-(Cl, Cl), cis-(NO, Cl)-[RuCl2(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([1]PF6) with NaOCH3 in CH3OH, C2H5OH, and C3H7OH, respectively. Reactions of [3]PF6 with an acid such as hydrochloric acid and trifluoromethansulforic acid afford nitrosyl complexes in which the alkoxo ligand is substituted. The geometrical isomer of [1]PF6, trans-(NO, Cl), cis-(Cl, Cl)-[RuCl2(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([5]PF6), was obtained by the reaction of [3]PF6 in a hydrochloric acid solution. Reaction of [3]PF6 with trifluoromethansulforic acid in CH3CN gave trans-(NO, Cl), cis-(CH3CN, Cl)-[RuCl(CH3CN)(NO)(terpy)]2+ ([6]2+) under refluxing conditions. The structures of [3]PF6, [4]PF6.CH3CN, [5]CF3SO3, and [6](PF6)2 were determined by X-ray crystallograpy.  相似文献

Treatment of cis-Pt(Me2SO)2Cl2 with DNSH-tren afforded [Pt(DNSH-tren)Cl]Cl and with DNSH-dienH, under increasingly more basic conditions, led to Pt(DNSH-dienH)Cl(2), Pt(DNSH-dien)Cl, and Pt(DNS-dien). (DNSH = 5-(dimethylamino)naphthalene-1-sulfonyl, linked via a sulfonamide group to tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (DNSH-tren) and diethylenetriamine (DNSH-dienH); the H's in DNSH-dienH designate protons sometimes lost upon Pt binding, i.e., sulfonamide NH for the dienH moiety and H8 for the DNSH moiety). Respectively, the three neutral DNSH-dienH-derived complexes are difunctional, monofunctional, and nonfunctional and exhibit decreasing fluorescence in this order as the dansyl group distance to Pt decreases. 2D NMR data establish that Pt(DNS-dien) has a Pt-C8 bond and a Pt-N(sulfonamido) bond. Pt(DNSH-dien)Cl and [Pt(DNSH-tren)Cl]Cl bind to N7 of 6-oxopurines (e.g., 5'-GMP, 3'-IMP, and 9-ethylguanine) and sulfur of methionine (met). Competition and challenge reactions for Pt(II) with met and 5'-GMP typically reveal that met binding is favored kinetically but that 5'-GMP binding is favored thermodynamically. This common type of behavior was found for [Pt(DNSH-tren)Cl]Cl. In contrast, Pt(DNSH-dien)Cl had reduced kinetic selectivity for met. This unusual behavior undoubtedly arises as a consequence of the bound Pt-N(sulfonamido) group, which donates strongly to Pt (as indicated by relatively upfield dien NH signals) and which places the bulky DNSH moiety close to the monofunctional reaction site. The decrease in the relatively upfield shifts of the DNSH group signals indicates that this group stacks with the purine. This stacking could explain the unprecedented, relatively low reactivity of a Pt complex bearing a dien-type ligand toward met vs 5'-GMP.  相似文献

Abstract

The substitution behavior of the [RuII(terpy)(ampy)Cl]Cl (terpy = 2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine, ampy = 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine) complex in water with several bio-relevant ligands such as chloride, thiourea and N,N′-dimethylthiourea, was investigated and compared with the reactivity of the [RuII(terpy)(bipy)Cl]Cl and [RuII(terpy)(en)Cl]Cl (bipy =2,2′-bipyridine and en?=?ethylenediamine) complexes. Earlier results have shown that the reactivity and pKa values of Ru(II) complexes can be tuned by a systematic variation of electronic effects provided by bidentate spectator chelates. The reactivity of both the chlorido and aqua derivatives of the studied Ru(II) complexes increases in the order [RuII(terpy)(bipy)X]+/2+?<?[RuII(terpy)(ampy)X]+/2+?<?[RuII(terpy)(en)X]+/2+. This finding can be accounted for in terms of π back-bonding effects provided by the pyridine ligands. The activation parameters for all the studied reactions support an associative interchange substitution mechanism.  相似文献

The kinetics and the mechanism of the substitution reactions of the complex [(TL(tBu))PdCl](+), where TL(tBu) is 2,6-bis[(1,3-di-tert-butylimidazolin-2-imino)methyl]pyridine, with nucleophiles (guanosine-5'-monophosphate (5'-GMP), l-Methionine (l-Met) and l-Histidine (l-His)) were studied using variable-temperature stopped-flow techniques in aqueous 0.1 M NaClO(4) with 10 mM NaCl at 298 K. The order of reactivity is: l-Met > 5'-GMP > l-His. The formation equilibria of [(BL(iPr))Pd(H(2)O)(2)](2+), where BL(iPr) is 1,2-bis(1,3diisopropyl-4,5-dimethylimidazolin-2-imino)ethane, and [(TL(tBu))Pd(H(2)O)](2+) with some biologically relevant ligands (l-Met, 5'-GMP and l-His) were also studied. The stoichiometry and stability constants of the newly formed complexes are reported, and the concentration distribution of the various complex species has been evaluated as a function of pH. Comparing the values of logβ(1,1,0) for 5'-GMP, l-His and l-Met complexes, the most stable complex is with 5'-GMP followed by l-His and l-Met for both complexes, [(BL(iPr))Pd(H(2)O)(2)](2+) and [(TL(tBu))Pd(H(2)O)](2+). The crystal structures of [(TL(tBu))PdCl]ClO(4) and [(BL(iPr))PdCl(2)] were determined by X-ray diffraction. The coordination geometries around the palladium atoms are distorted square-planar, with the Pd-N1 distance to the central nitrogen atom of the TL(tBu) ligand, 1.944(2) ?, being shorter than those to the other two nitrogen atoms of TL(tBu), viz. 2.034(3) and 2.038(2) ?. The BL(iPr) complex displays similar Pd-N distances of 2.031(2) and 2.047(2) ?.  相似文献

The trigonal-bipyramidal high-spin (S = 2) oxoiron(IV) complex [Fe(IV)(O)(TMG(2)dien)(CH(3)CN)](2+) (7) was synthesized and spectroscopically characterized. Substitution of the CH(3)CN ligand by anions, demonstrated here for X = N(3)(-) and Cl(-), yielded additional S = 2 oxoiron(IV) complexes of general formulation [Fe(IV)(O)(TMG(2)dien)(X)](+) (7-X). The reduced steric bulk of 7 relative to the published S = 2 complex [Fe(IV)(O)(TMG(3)tren)](2+) (2) was reflected by enhanced rates of intermolecular substrate oxidation.  相似文献

[Ru(II)(terpy)(DMSO)Cl(2)] complexes were synthesized as a 5/1 mixture of cis and trans isomers, and their reactivities with CO and with substituted 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine (terpy) moieties have been investigated. The structure of a trans isomer and its CO adduct have been unambiguously assigned by spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The [Ru(terpy)(terpy-Br)](2+) complex prepared either from the cis-[Ru(II)(terpy)(DMSO)Cl(2)] or from the cis-[Ru(II)(terpy-Br)(DMSO)Cl(2)] precursor appeared to be reactive in cross-coupling reactions promoted by low-valent palladium(0) and is an attractive target for the stepwise synthesis of polynuclear complexes bearing vacant coordination sites (terpy-Br for 4'-bromo-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine). Several bipyridine, phenanthroline, and bipyrimidine complexes were prepared this way and their optical and redox properties determined and discussed.  相似文献

Dissolution of [UO2(OTf)2](1) in anhydrous thf, dme or py led to the formation of the complexes [UO2(OTf)2(thf)3](2), [UO2(OTf)2(dme)](3) and [UO2(OTf)2(py)3](4), respectively. Compounds 2 and 4 are neutral monomers in the solid state as well as the chloride [UO2Cl2(py)3](5) which was prepared in a similar way as for from the dimer [[UO2Cl2(thf)2]2]. Addition of 4 equivalents of triphenylphosphine oxide (tppo) to 1 afforded, in pyridine, the dicationic species [UO2(tppo)4][OTf]2 (6). The bi- or terdentate nitrogen molecules 2,2'-bipy, phen or terpy reacted with 1 in acetonitrile or pyridine to give [UO2(OTf)2(bipy)2](7), [UO2(phen)3][OTf]2(8), [UO2(OTf)2(terpy)](9) and [UO2(terpy)2][OTf]2(10), respectively. The hydroxide compound [[UO2(OH)(terpy)]2][OTf]2(11) was obtained by hydrolysis in air of 1 in a mixture of acetonitrile and ethanol in the presence of terpyridine. The X-ray crystal structures of , and reveal a novel coordination geometry for the uranyl ion, the uranium atom being in a rhombohedral environment; the six coordinating ligands atoms of the [UO2]2+ ion are separated into two parallel and staggered equilateral triangles and the UO2 axis is perpendicular to these triangles, passing through their centre. The structures of the mono(terpy) complexes 9 and 11 show the uranium atoms in a distorted pentagonal bipyramidal configuration with the nitrogen atom of the central pyridine ring of the terpy ligand significantly displaced from the equatorial plane.  相似文献

Compounds [RuII(bipy)(terpy)L](PF6)2 with bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, terpy = 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine, L = H2O, imidazole (imi), 4-methylimidazole, 2-methylimidazole, benzimidazole, 4,5-diphenylimidazole, indazole, pyrazole, 3-methylpyrazole have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, ESI-MS and UV/Vis (in CH3CN and H2O). For L = H2O, imidazole, 4,5-diphenylimidazole and indazole the X-ray structures of the complexes have been determined with the crystal packing featuring only few intermolecular C-H...pi or pi-pi interactions due to the separating action of the PF6-anions. Complexes with L = imidazole and 4-methylimidazole exhibit a fluorescence emission with a maximum at 662 and 667 nm, respectively (lambdaexc= 475 nm, solvent CH3CN or H2O). The substitution of the aqua ligand in [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(H2O)]2+ in aqueous solution by imidazole to give [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(imi)]2+ is fastest at a pH of 8.5 (as followed by the increase in emission intensity). Coupling of the [Ru(bipy)(terpy)]2+ fragment to cytochrome c(Yeast iso-1) starting from the Ru-aqua complex was successful at 35 degrees C and pH 7.0 after 5 d under argon in the dark. The [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(cyt c)]-product was characterized by UV/Vis, emission and mass spectrometry. The location where the [Ru(bipy)(terpy)] complex was coupled to the protein was identified as His44 (corresponding to His39 in other numbering schemes) using digestion of the Ru-coupled protein by trypsin and analysis of the tryptic peptides by HPLC-high resolution MS.  相似文献

[Au(en)Cl(2)]Cl.2H(2)O, where en = ethylenediamine (1,2-diaminoethane), has been synthesized, and its structure has been solved for the first time by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The complex has square-planar geometry about Au(III), and the anionic Cl- is located in the apical position and at a distance of 3.3033(10) A compared to 2.2811(9) and 2.2836(11) A for the coordinated Cl-. [Au(en)Cl2]Cl.2H2O belongs to the space group Pbca with a = 11.5610(15) A, b = 12.6399(17) A, c = 13.2156(17) A, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees , and Z = 8. Bond lengths of Au-N are 2.03 A. [Au(en)Cl2]Cl.2H2O is less thermally stable than [Au(en)2]Cl3 because of the replacement of two Cl ligands by a second en ligand in the latter. Cyclic voltammetry shows that the formal potential of Au(III)/Au(0) becomes more negative in the series [AuCl4]-, [Au(en)Cl2]+, and [Au(en)2]3+. 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR reveal that in an aqueous solution [Au(en)Cl2]+ bonds to guanosine 5'-monophosphate, 5'-GMP (1:1 mole ratio), via N7, although the stability is not very high. NMR data also indicate that N7-O6 or N7-phosphate 5'-GMP chelation, as found in some gold(III) nucleotide complexes, is not present. The gold(III) complex undergoes hydrolysis at pH >2.5-3.0 and, therefore, N1 coordination to 5'-GMP is not observed. No direct coordination between 5'-GMP and [Au(en)2]Cl3 is observed.  相似文献

To provide precedents for the possible interactions of platinum DNA adducts with zinc finger proteins, the complexes [Pt(dien)Cl]Cl (dien = diethylenetriamine) and [Pt(terpy)Cl]Cl (terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine) were exposed to the N,N'-bis(2-mercaptoethyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptanezinc(II) dimer, [Zn(bme-dach)]2, and the products defined by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), X-ray crystallography and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy. The presence of a leaving chloride in both platinum(II) complexes facilitates electrophilic substitution involving sulfur-containing zinc finger synthetic models or, as in previous studies, zinc finger peptidic sequences. Monitored via ESI-MS, both reactants yielded evidence for Zn-(mu-SR)-Pt bridges followed by zinc ejection from the N2S2 coordination sphere and subsequent formation of a trimetallic Zn-(mu-SR)2-Pt-(mu-SR)2-Zn-bridged species. The isolation of Zn-(mu-SR)-Pt-bridged species [(Zn(bme-dach)Cl)(Pt(dien))]Cl is, to our knowledge, the first Zn-Pt bimetallic thiolate-bridged model demonstrating the interaction between Zn-bound thiolates and Pt(2+). In the case of the [Pt(terpy)Cl]Cl reaction with the [Zn(bme-dach)]2, ESI-MS analysis further suggests metal exchange by formation of [Zn(terpy)Cl](+), whereas the [Pt(dien)Cl]Cl reaction does not yield the corresponding [Zn(dien)Cl](+) ion. Direct synthesis of the Zn-Pt thiolate-bridged species and the Pt(N2S2) chelate, where Pt has displaced the Zn from the chelate core, permitted the isolation of X-ray-quality crystals to confirm the bridging and metal-exchanged structures. The ESI-MS, (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy, and molecular structures of the di- and trinuclear complexes will be discussed, as they provide insight into the metal-exchange mechanism.  相似文献

The source of protons associated with the ligand loss channel of HX((n - 1)+) from [Pt(II)(dien)X](n+) (X = Cl, Br and I for n = 1 and X = NC(5)H(5) for n = 2) in the gas phase was investigated by deuterium-labelling studies. The results of these studies indicate that these protons originate from both the amino groups and the carbon backbone of the dien ligand. In some instances (e.g. X = Br and I), the protons lost from the carbon backbone can be even more abundant than the protons lost from the amino groups. The gas-phase substitution reactions of coordinatively saturated [Pt(II)(L(3))L(a)](2+) complexes (L(3) = tpy or dien) were also examined using ion-molecule reactions. The outcome of the ion-molecule reactions depends on both the ancillary ligand (L(3)) as well as the leaving group (L(a)). [Pt(II)(tpy)L(a)](2+) complexes undergo substitution reactions, with a faster rate when L(a) is a good leaving group, while the [Pt(II)(dien)L(a)](2+) complex undergoes a proton transfer reaction.  相似文献

Half sandwich Ru(ii)-[9]aneS3 complexes ([9]aneS3 = 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane) are being studied for their antiproliferative activity. We investigated here the activation kinetics of three such complexes, namely [Ru([9]aneS3)(en)Cl](PF(6)) (1), [Ru([9]aneS3)(bpy)Cl](PF(6)) (2) and [Ru([9]aneS3)(pic)Cl] (3) (en = 1,2-diaminoethane, pic = picolinate), and their interaction with DNA model bases. The aim of the study was to assess how they are affected by the nature and charge of the chelating ligand. The model reactions of 1-3 with the guanine derivatives 9-methylguanine (9MeG), guanosine (Guo), and guanosine 5'-monophosphate (5'-GMP) were studied by NMR spectroscopy. All reactions lead, although with different rates and to different extents, to the formation of monofunctional adducts with the guanine derivatives N7-bonded to the Ru center. Two products, the complexes [Ru([9]aneS3)(en)(9MeG-N7)](PF(6))(2) (4) and [Ru([9]aneS3)(pic)(9MeG-N7)](PF(6)) (10), were structurally characterized also by X-ray crystallography. The structure of 4 is stabilized by strong intramolecular H-bonding between an NH of en and the carbonyl O6 of 9MeG. The kinetics of aquation and anation of complexes 2 and 3, as well as the kinetics and the mechanism of the reaction of complexes 1-3 with the biologically more relevant 5'-GMP ligand were studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The rate of the reaction of 1-3 with 5'-GMP depends on the nature of the chelating ligand rather than on the charge of the complex, decreasing in the order 3≈2 > 1. The measured enthalpies and entropies of activation (ΔH(≠) > 0, ΔS(≠) < 0) support an associative mechanism for the substitution process.  相似文献
