Summary Three new bifunctional phosphinoamide ligands of the type Ph2PCH2C(O)NHR (R = H, HDPA; Me, MDPA; Ph, PDPA) were prepared and characterized. Their ruthenium(II) complexes prepared from two different precursors, RuCl2-(DMSO)4 and RuCl2(PPh3)3, are of similar composition and correspond to the formula, [RuCl(L)2(P-O)2]Cl (L = DMSO/PPh3; phosphinoamide). However, RuCl3-(AsPh3)2(MeOH) reacts with the phosphinoamide to yield a reduced product of the cis-RuCl2(P-O)2 type. The ligands and complexes were characterized by mass, i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopy. Possible stereochemistries for the complexes are proposed.  相似文献

Reaction of 2-(phenylazo)pyridine (pap) with [Ru(PPh3)3X2] (X = Cl, Br) in dichloromethane solution affords [Ru(PPh3)2(pap)X2]. These diamagnetic complexes exhibit a weakdd transition and two intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. In dichloromethane solution they display a one-electron reduction of pap near − 0.90 V vs SCE and a reversible ruthenium(II)-ruthenium(III) oxidation near 0.70 V vs SCE. The [RuIII(PPh3)2(pap)Cl2]+ complex cation, generated by coulometric oxidation of [Ru(PPh3)2(pap)Cl2], shows two intense LMCT transitions in the visible region. It oxidizes N,N-dimethylaniline and [RuII(bpy)2Cl2] (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) to produce N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylbenzidine and [RuIII(bpy)2Cl2]+ respectively. Reaction of [Ru(PPh3)2(pap)X2] with Ag+ in ethanol produces [Ru(PPh3)2(pap)(EtOH)2]2+ which upon further reaction with L (L = pap, bpy, acetylacetonate ion(acac) and oxalate ion (ox2−)) gives complexes of type [Ru(PPh3)2(pap)(L)]n+ (n = 0, 1, 2). All these diamagnetic complexes show a weakdd transition and several intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. The ruthenium(II)-ruthenium(III) oxidation potential decreases in the order (of L): pap > bpy > acac > ox2−. Reductions of the coordinated pap and bpy are also observed.  相似文献

Substitution inertcis-diaqua CrIII complexes: cis-[(Lx−)CrIII(H2O)2](3−x)+ derived from N-donor ligands (Lx−) viz., bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline (x = 0) and N,O-donor ligands viz., nitrilotriacetate and anthranilate N,N-diacetate (x = 3) titrate as diprotic acids in aqueous solution and enhance the acidity of otherwise weakly acidic boric acid (H3BO3) producing mononuclear and binuclear mixed ligand CrIII-borate complexes: [(L)Cr(H2BO4)]x− and [(L)Cr(BO4)Cr(L)](1−2x)+ respectively through coordination of the H2O and/or OH ligands, cis-coordinated in the CrIII-complexes on the electron deficient BIII-atom in H3BO3 with release of protons. Deprotonation of the parent CrIII-complexes and their reactions with H3BO3 have been investigated by potentiometric method in aqueous solution,I = 0.1 mol dm−3 (NaNO3) at 25 ±0.1°C. The equilibrium constants have been evaluated by computerized methods and the tentative stoichiometry of the reactions have been worked out on the basis of the speciation curves  相似文献

Ruthenium carbonyl triphenylphosphine complexes Ru2(CO)6−n (PPh3) n {μ-C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)} (n=1, 2) were obtained by the reaction of complex Ru2(CO)6{μ-C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)} containing the ruthenacyclopentadiene moiety with PPh3 in refluxing toluene. The complexes were characterized by IR and by1H,13C, and31P NMR spectroscopy, and by X-ray analysis. The monophosphine derivative is identical to the complex formed by fragmentation of the Ru3(CO)8(PPh3){μ-C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)C(CH=CHPh)C(Ph)} cluster and contains the PPh3 ligand at the ruthenium atom of the ruthenacyclopentadiene moiety. Galactose oxidase (GOase) is a fungal enzyme which is unusual among metalloenzymes in appearing to catalyse the two electron oxidation of primary alcohols to aldehydes and H2O2. The crystal structure of the enzyme reveals that the coordination geometry of mononuclear copper(II) ion is square pyramidal, with two histidine imidazoles, a tyrosinate, and either H2O (pH 7.0) or acetate (from buffer,pH 4-5) in the equatorial sites and a tyrosinate ligand weakly bound in the axial position. This paper summarizes the results of our studies on the structure, spectral and redox properties of certain novel models for the active site of the inactive form of GOase. The monophenolato Cu(II) complexes of the type [Cu(L1)X][H(L1) = 2-(bis(pyrid-2-ylmethyl)aminomethyl)-4-nitrophenol and X = Cl 1, NCS 2, CH3COO 3, ClO4 4] reveal a distorted square pyramidal geometry around Cu(II) with an unusual axial coordination of phenolate moiety. The coordination geometry of 3 is reminiscent of the active site of GOase with an axial phenolate and equatorial CH3COO ligands. All the present complexes exhibit several electronic and EPR spectral features which are also similar to the enzyme. Further, to establish the structural and spectroscopic consequences of the coordination of two tyrosinates in GOase enzyme, we studied the monomeric copper(II) complexes containing two phenolates and imidazole/pyridine donors as closer structural models for GOase. N,N-dimethylethylenediamine and N,N’-dimethylethylenediamine have been used as starting materials to obtain a variety of 2,4-disubstituted phenolate ligands. The X-ray crystal structures of the complexes [Cu(L5)(py)], (8) [H2(L5) = N,N-dimethyl-N’,N’-bis(2-hydroxy-4-nitrobenzyl) ethylenediamine, py = pyridine] and [Cu(L8)(H2O)] (11), [H2(L8) = N,N’-dimethyl-N,N’-bis(2-hydroxy-4-nitrobenzyl)ethylenediamine] reveal distorted square pyramidal geometries around Cu(II) with the axial tertiary amine nitrogen and water coordination respectively. Interestingly, for the latter complex there are two different molecules present in the same unit cell containing the methyl groups of the ethylenediamine fragmentcis to each other in one molecule andtrans to each other in the other. The ligand field and EPR spectra of the model complexes reveal square-based geometries even in solution. The electrochemical and chemical means of generating novel radical species of the model complexes, analogous to the active form of the enzyme is presently under investigation.  相似文献

The behavior of the phosphine-phosphine sulfide complexes of silver, [Ph2P(S)(CH2) n PPh2] m ·AgNO3 (n=2 or 4;m=1 or 2), in pyridine was studied. Dissolution of the 1:1 complexes in pyridine leads to destruction of their dimeric structures Ag2[Ph2P(S)(CH2) n PPh2]2(NO3)2 (A) to form the complexes Agpy +−P(Ph2)(CH2) n Ph2P=S and Agpy +−S=PPh2(CH2) n PPh2. The solid complexes isolated from pyridine restore dimeric structure A. According to the data of X-ray diffraction analysis, the 1:2 complex isolated from pyridine has the structure [S=P(Ph2)(CH2)2(Ph2)P−(NO3)Ag(Py)−P(Ph2) (CH2)2(Ph2)P=S]Py. According to the data of IR spectroscopy, dissolution of this complex in chloroform leads to the formation of the dimeric structure Ag2Ph2P(S)(CH2)2PPh2]4(NO3)2. Deceased. The complex trans,cis‐[RuCl2(PPh3)2(ampi)] (2) was prepared by reaction of RuCl2(PPh3)3 with 2‐aminomethylpiperidine(ampi) (1). [RuCl2(PPh2(CH2)nPPh2)(ampi) (n = 3, 4, 5)] (3–5) were synthesized by displacement of two PPh3 with chelating phosphine ligands. All complexes (2–5) were characterized by 1 H, 13C, 31P NMR, IR and UV‐visible spectroscopy and elemental analysis. They were found to be efficient catalysts for transfer hydrogen reactions. In the absence of solvent, the first-row transition-metal acetylacetonate complexes and RuCl2(PPh3)3 give fairly high turnovers for the allylic oxidation of cyclohexene under atmospheric pressure of oxygen. Synergetic effect is observed for the oxidation of cyclohexene by using M(acac)n−RuCl2(PPh3)3 bimetallic catalysts.  相似文献

A series of arene-ruthenium complexes of the general formula [RuCl26-C6H5(CH2)2R}L] with R=OH, CH2OH, OC(O)Fc, CH2OC(O)Fc (Fc=ferrocenyl) and L=PPh3, (diphenylphosphino)ferrocene, or bridging 1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene, have been synthesized. Two synthetic pathways have been used for these ferrocene-modified arene-ruthenium complexes: (a) esterification of ferrocene carboxylic acid with 2-(cyclohexa-1,4-dienyl)ethanol, followed by condensation with RuCl3 · nH2O to afford [RuCl26-C6H5(CH2)2OC(O)Fc}]2, and (b) esterification between ferrocene carboxylic acid and [RuCl26-C6H5(CH2)3OH}L] to give [RuCl26-C6H5(CH2)3OC(O)Fc}L]. All new compounds have been characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy as well as by mass spectrometry. The single-crystal X-ray structure analysis of [RuCl26-C6H5(CH2)3OH}(PPh3)] shows that the presence of a CH2CH2CH2OH side-arm allows [RuCl26-C6H5(CH2)3OH}(PPh3)] to form an intramolecular hydrogen bond with a chlorine atom. The electrochemical behavior of selected representative compounds has been studied. Complexes with ferrocenylated side arms display the expected cyclic voltammograms, two independent reversible one-electron waves of the Ru(II)/Ru(III) and Fe(II)/Fe(III) redox couples. Introduction of a ferrocenylphosphine onto the ruthenium is reflected by an additonal reversible, one-electron wave due to ferrocene/ferrocenium system which is, however, coupled with the Ru(II)/Ru(III) redox system.  相似文献

The migration of the double bond in the allylcarboxamide ligands of (μ-H)Os3(μ-O=CN RCH2CH=CH2) (CO)10 (R=H (1) or CH3 (2)), (μ-D)Os3(μ-O=CNDCH2CH=CH2) (CO)10, and (μ-H)Os3(μ-O=CNHCD2CH=CH2)(CO)10 clusters was studied by1H,2H, and13C NMR spectroscopy. Neither μ-D nor ND groups in the deuterated complexes are directly involved in prototropic processes of allylic rearrangement. Initially, the deuterium atom of the CD2 group migrates to the ψ-carbon atom of the allyl fragment to form the −CD=CH-CH2D propenyl moiety, in which the deuterium and hydrogen atoms are gradually redistributed between the ψ-and β-carbon atoms. The triosmium cluster complexes containing the bridging carboxamide ligands O=CNRR' catalyze the allylic rearrangement ofN-allylacetamide. Based on the data obtained, the probable scheme of the allylic rearrangements in clusters1 and2 was proposed. Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. pH potentiometric and spectrophotometric investigations on the complex formation equilibria of CuII with iminodiacetate (ida2−) and heterocyclic N-bases, viz. imidazole and benzimidazole (B), in aqueous solution in binary and ternary systems using different molar ratios of the reactants indicated the formation of complexes of the types, Cu(ida), Cu(ida)(OH), (ida)Cu(OH)Cu(ida), Cu(B)2+, Cu(H-1B)+, Cu(ida)(H−1B), (ida)Cu(B)Cu(ida) and (ida)Cu(H−1B)Cu(ida). Formation constants of the complexes at 25 ±1° at a fixed ionic strength,I = 0.1 mol dm−3 (NaNO3) in aqueous solution were evaluated and the complex formation equilibria were elucidated with the aid of speciation curves. Departure of the experimental values of the reproportionation constants(ΔlogK cu) of ternary Cu(ida)(H−1B) complexes from the statistically expected values, despite their formation in appreciable amounts at equilibrium, were assigned tofac(f)-mer(m) equilibria of the ida2− ligand coordinated to CuII, as the N-heterocyclic donors, (H−1B), coordinatetrans- to the N-(ida2−) atom in the binary Cu(ida) f complex to form the ternary Cu(ida) m (H−1B) complexes  相似文献

A family of three mixed-ligand osmium complexes of type [Os(PPh3)2(N-N)Br2], where N-N=2,2′-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (Me2bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), have been synthesized and characterized. The complexes are diamagnetic (low-spin d6, S=0) and in dichloromethane solution they show intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. The two bromide ligands have been replaced from the coordination sphere of [Os(PPh3)2(phen)Br2] under mild conditions by a series of anionic ligands L (where L=quinolin-8-olate (q), picolinate (pic), oxalate (Hox) and 1-nitroso-2-naphtholate (nn)) to afford complexes of type [Os(PPh3)2(phen)(L)]+, which have been isolated and characterized as the perchlorate salt. The structure of the [Os(PPh3)2(phen)(pic)]ClO4 complex has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The PPh3 ligands occupy trans positions and the picolinate anion is coordinated to osmium as a bidentate N,O-donor forming a five-membered chelate ring. The [Os(PPh3)2(phen)(L)]+ complexes are diamagnetic and show multiple MLCT transitions in the visible region. The [Os(PPh3)2(N-N)Br2] complexes show an osmium(II)–osmium(III) oxidation (−0.02 to 0.12 V vs. SCE) followed by an osmium(III)–osmium(IV) oxidation (1.31 to 1.43 V vs. SCE). The [Os(PPh3)2(phen)(L)]+ complexes display the osmium (II)–osmium (III) oxidation (0.26 to 0.84 V vs. SCE) and one reduction of phen (−1.50 to −1.79 V vs. SCE). The osmium (III)–osmium (IV) oxidation has been observed only for the L=q and L=Hox complexes at 1.38 V vs. SCE and 1.42 V vs. SCE respectively. The osmium(III) species, viz. [OsIII(PPh3)2(N-N)Br2]+ and [OsIII(PPh3)2(phen)(L)]2+, have been generated both chemically and electrochemically and characterized in solution by electronic spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

The formation and structure of complexes 2 and 3 are assigned through various spectroscopic and micro analysis data. The compound [RuCl2(CO)(DMA)(PPh3)2] [DMA = dimethylacetamide] was obtained from [RuCl3(PPh3)2-(DMA)] · DMA and CO in DMA. Orange crystals of [RuCl2(CO)(DMA)(PPh3)2] · 1/2CH2Cl2 were isolated by slow evaporation of a CH2Cl2/DMA solution and its structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The analogous compounds containing DMF and DMSO were obtained from the precursor ttt-[RuCl2(CO)2(PPh3)2]. Characterization of the other complexes is based on i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopy, including 31P{1H} data.  相似文献

Two novel ethylenediaminium salt of europium complexes with aminopolycarboxylic acid ligands, (EnH2)3[EuIII(Ttha)]2 · 11H2O (I) (En is ethylenediamine, H6Ttha is triethylenetetramine-N,N,N′,N″,N‴,N‴-hexaacetic acid) and (EnH2)[EuIII(Egta)(H2O)]2 · 6H2O (II) (H4Egta is ethyleneglycol-bis(2-aminoethylether)-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid) complexes were synthesized, and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. Both of the two complexes adopt nine-coordinate structures with the pseudo-monocapped square antiprism and crystallize in the monoclinic crystal system with the P21/n space group. The crystal data for complex I are as follows: a = 17.8262(8), b = 19.3137(5), c = 20.6233(8) ?, β = 111.301(2)°, V = 6615.3(4) ?3, Z = 8, ρ c = 1.677 mg/m3, μ = 1.981 mm−1, F(000) = 3432, R = 0.0308, and wR = 0.0737 for 43622 observed reflections with I ≥ 2σ(I). The crystal data for complex II are as follows: a = 12.952(3), b = 12.618(2), c = 14.809(3) ?, β = 105.695(2)°, V = 2330.0(8) ?3, Z = 4, ρ c = 1.800 mg/m3, μ = 2.765 mm−1, F(000) = 1276, R = 0.0297, and wR = 0.0638 for 18416 observed reflections with I ≥ 2σ(I). One remarkable feature of the two complexes is that the protonated [EnH22+] cations conjugating to [EuIII(Ttha)]26− and [EuIII(Egta)(H2O)]22− complex anions are reviewed, respectively, which open the path for the EuIII complexes conjugating with other various biomolecules.  相似文献

Complexes derived from ampicillin (L1) and amoxicillin (L2) with (Mg(II), Ca(II), Zn(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Ce(III), Nd(III), UO2(VI), Th(IV)) were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, electrical conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility, IR, UV/Vis, and thermogravimetry. The formed complexes can be formulated as (ML(H2O)3(NO3) n ) except for Ce(III) which gave (CeL(H2O)3(Cl)2). The 1H NMR spectra of the Zn(II) complexes are compared to spectra of the ligands. The shift (δ) gave information about the chelating center of the ligands. The ligands and the synthesized complexes, derived from some alkali earth and transition metal ions, were tested as antibacterial reagents. The formed complexes had enhanced activity.  相似文献
