A simple and alternative method has been developed for the synthesis of 4-benzylidene-2-phenyl-5(4H)-oxazolones via reactions of hippuric acid with various aldehydes in the presence of 2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine/N-methylmorpholine at 75 °C.

Ammonium chloride as a very inexpensive and readily available reagent, and efficiently catalyzes one-pot, three component, Biginelli condensation reactions of aldehydes, 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and urea or thiourea under solvent-free conditions to afford the corresponding 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones in high yields at 100°C.  相似文献

The one-pot synthesis of quinazolinone derivatives from the reaction of anthranilic acid, trialkyl orthoformate and amines in the presence of lanthanum(III) nitrate hexahydrate or p-toluenesulfonic acid has been carried out. A simple and efficient synthesis of 5-arylidene-2,4-thiazolidinediones by the Knoevenagel condensation of aldehydes with 2,4-thiazolidinedione in the presence of 2-hydroxy ethylammonium propionate under solvent-free conditions is described. The attractive features of this procedure are operational simplicity, high yields, short reaction times, easy to prepare the catalyst, mild and environmentally benign reaction conditions, and recycle of the catalyst.  相似文献

Reaction of 4-arylidene-2-phenyl-5(4H)-1,3-oxazolones with benzyne afforded predominantly, 3-arylidene-7-hydroxy-7-phenyl-1,4(H)-benzoxazepine-2-ones in addition to their N-phenyl derivatives. However, the reaction of the target oxazolones with an excess of benzyne gave only the N-phenyl derivatives of 1,4(H)-benzoxazepine-2-ones in good yields. The reaction mechanism describing product formation is also explained. Arylation of 1,4(H)-benzoxazepine-2-ones with benzyne proceeded successfully to give the N-phenyl products.  相似文献

Benzoxazinediones exhibit potential as versatile synthons in the synthesis of wide variety of heterocyclic compounds with biological activity. In this work, an efficient and eco-friendly one-step synthesis of benzoxazine-2,4-diones from phthalic anhydrides derivatives and trimethylsilyl azide using the microwave technique was developed and compared with conventional heating. Microwave irradiation plays a critical role in driving the reaction and providing access to products and/or regioisomers not available from conventional heating. Thus, the regioselectivity of the reaction may be modulated by the irradiation time. Depending on the method employed the benzoxazinediones were isolated with yields in the range of 30–90%.  相似文献

Stable nitrile oxides are added stereospecifically and regioselectively to the carbon carbon double bond of 2-phenyl-4-arylidene-5(4H)-oxazolones resulting spiro-derivatives 3, 5 . The spectral properties of the reaction products are discussed. The cycloadducts give several substituted isoxazolines via an opening of the oxazolone ring with nucleophilic reagents.  相似文献

Thiolysis of alkyl- and aryl-1,2-epoxides was investigated under solvent-free conditions in the presence of Lewis and Brønsted acid and base catalysts (InCl3, p-TsOH, n-Bu3P, K2CO3). Five mol% of catalyst was sufficient and the best results were obtained by using InCl3 and K2CO3. β-Hydroxy sulfide was isolated in excellent yields.  相似文献

A new effective approach to the synthesis of a small library of 2-amino-5-arylidene-1,3-thiazol-4(5H)-ones was reported using solvent-free reaction conditions under microwave irradiation. In the first step, rhodanines were subjected to Knoevenagel condensation with aryl aldimines according to a facile one-pot protocol. Then the (5Z)-5-arylidene rhodanine derivatives were transformed directly into the corresponding 2-amino-1,3-thiazol-4(5H)-ones by sulfur/nitrogen displacement reaction under microwaves with retention of configuration and good overall yields.  相似文献

Guanidines were proved to be efficient catalysts for the chemical fixation of carbon dioxide with 2-aminobenzonitriles under solvent-free conditions. Notably, the catalysts with low loading worked well for a variety of 2-aminobenzonitriles. As a result, quinazoline-2,4(1H, 3H)-diones by employing present protocol were obtained in good yields under mild conditions. This process represents an alternative approach for the greener chemical fixation of CO2 to afford valuable compounds.  相似文献

An efficient, three-component domino reaction of dimedone 1, aromatic aldehydes (2ao), and 1,3-cyclohexanedione 1a in the regio-selective synthesis of 3,3-dimethyl-9-phenyl-2H-xanthene-1,8(5H,9H)-diones (3ao) is reported. A highly efficient and clean procedure is described for the synthesis of thioethers with excellent yields under solvent-free conditions at room temperature using a catalytic amount of HClO4-SiO2.
