SYNTHESIS,PHOTOCHROMIC PROPERTIES OF PYRRYL SUBSTITUTED HETEROCYCLIC FULGIDES

Nine new 3-acetyl pyrrole derivatives and corresponding 3-pyrryl substitutedheterocyclic fulgides:3-pyrryl-ethylidene(isopropylidene)succinic anhydrides havebeen synthesized and characterized.Their photochromic behavour in several organicsolvents were investigated.The coloured form of fulgide Ⅱc,(E)-α-(1,2,4-trimethyl-3-pyrryl)-ethylidene(isopropylidene)succinic anhydride,shows absorption maxmium at715nm in acetonitrile.It is the longest absorption among the known photochromicfulgides

SYNTHESIS AND STRUCTURE OF A NEW TYPE OF COORDINATION COMPOUND OF Tb（Ⅲ）WITH BENZOIC ACID

<正> The synthesis and crystal structure of a novel rare earth coordination compound are reported. [TbL3(HL)H2O]2 (HL=henzoic acid) Mr=1324. 81, triclinic, space group P1, a=9. 148(1), b=11. 4 60(2), c=13. 506(2) A ;a=112. 76(1), B=91.83(1),y=91. 99(1) ;Z=1 ;V=1303. 3(4)A3;Dc=1.69g.cm-3;F(000)= 656;u=28. 4cm-1(MoKa). The final R is 0. 024. Each rare-earth ion in the title complex is nine-coordinated by seven oxygen atoms from five benzoate groups, one benzoic acid, and one aqua molecule, forming a distorted monocapped square antiprism.     

SYNTHESIS AND CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF BaGa_4

<正> BaGa4,tetragonal space group I4/mmm with lattice parameters a=b=4.5650(8), c=10.786(2)A, V=224.77(7)A3,Dc=6.15 gcm-3,and Z=2,λ(MoKα)=0.71069A,μ=335.93cm-1,F(OOO) =360. The final R = 0.045, Rw=0.069.The distribution of valence electrons in crystal Ba6a4 is described and a suggestion that two different types of gallium atoms form covalent bonds by utilizing sp3 and dsp3 hybrid orbitals respectively is proposed.     

SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES OF NEW INTERPOLYMERIC COMPLEXES

β-(2-imidazolinyl)-ethyl methyl diethoxy silane quarternary halides and its condensed polymers with bisphenol A were synthesized and characterized. The polycation-polyanion complexes were prepared by the condensed polymers and poly (styrene sulfonate). The solubility and thermal stability of interpolymeric complexes were investigated.     

SYNTHESIS AND THERMAL PROPERTIES OF A NEW CHOLIC ACIDCONTAINING COPOLYMER

A new copolymer was synthesized by free radical polymerization in solution from methyl 3α-methylacryloyl-7α, 12α-dihydroxy-5β-cholan-24-oate (MACAME) and maleic anhydride (MAN). The copolymer was characterized by FT-IR and functional group analysis. The reactivity ratios of the two monomers were estimated [r_1 = 11.6 (MACAME), r_2 = 0.01(MAN)] by conducting a series of copolymerizations with a variety of monomer feed compositions and analyzing thecopolymer composition. Thermogravimetric and differential scanning calorimetric analyses of the samples indicate that thecopolymer possesses good thermal stability. The temperature at which the copolymer samples experienced a 10% weight loss(T_(WL)) is over 287℃, and the T_g ranged from 174 to 185℃ for the copolymers.     

A FACILE SYNTHESIS OF HETEROCYCLE SUBSTITUTED CHALCONE AND 5-NITROFURANYL OLEFIN DERIVATIVES

Reaction of heterocycle substituted telluronium salts with aroma-tic aldehydes under mild conditions gave corresponding chalcones.In thepresence of dibutyl telluride,2-bromomethyl-5-nitrofuran condensed easilywith aromatic aldehydes in THF to afford corresponding olefin derivativesas one-pot reaction.     

SYNTHESIS AND CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF A NEW TERNARY TANTALUM CHALCOGENIDE Ni_2Ta_2Te_4

<正> The compound Ni2Ta2Te4 is obtained by heating the elements at 1000℃ in evacuated silica tube. Mr=989.70, orthorhombic system,space group Pma2,a = 7.914(1),b= 6.2372(5),c=7.2362(6)A,V = 357.2(1)A3, Z = 2, DC = 9.201 g/ca3,λ(MoKα)=0.7093A,μ= 537.90Cm-1.F(000)=820. Final R=0.083 and Rw=0.103 for 889 reflections.This compound is iso-structural to Ni2Nb2Te4,with two-dimensional(2D) network structure. In each cluster unit,two Ni and two Ta atons form a rhombic plane with four Ni-Ta bonds (average 2.655 A) and one Ni-Ni bond (2.512 A) without Ta-Ta interac-action. The distorted tetrahedral coordination of each metal atons is completed by four Te atoms.The average distances are 2.792A for bonds Ta-Te and 2.556 A for bonds Ni-Te.     

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF A NEW THREE-ARMS-NINE-CHAINS DISCOTIC LIQUID CRYSTAL

A new three-arms-nine-chains discotic molecule has been synthesized,and theaggregation structure of the compound was measured by x-ray diffraction,infraredspectra,polarizing microscope,etc.From these evidences,the new discotic liquid crystalis found to have the discotic lammelar phase.     

SYNTHESIS OF A NEW ORGANIC AEROGEL

A new organic aerogel made from (N- hydroxymethyl)-acrylamide (NA) and resorcinolis reported. The acidic solution of NA and resorcinol was irradiated by γ-rays with 1200-1800 Gy dose, then was heated to 60℃ for at least 16hr to form transparent sol-gel.The translucent aerogel can be obtained from the sol-gel with CO_2 as supercritical fluid.Synthetic conditions (e.g. acidity of the solution, ratio of NA to resorcinol) are discussed.

A NEW AND EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS OF 3-IODO DERIVATIVES OF FLAVONES, THIOFLAVONES AND THIOCHROMONES

The title compounds are prepared in good yields by iodination of the corresponding flavones, thioflavones and thiochromones respectively using I_2-CAN(ceric ammonium nitrate) system. The compounds thus prepared are potentially useful precursors for the synthesis of C-3 linked binuclear compounds.     

ISOLATION, STRUCTURE ELUCIDATION AND SYNTHESIS OF A NEW PRENYLATED FLAVONOL, MAACKIAFLAVONOL, FROM MAACKIA TENUIFOLIA

A new prenylated flavonol, maackiaflavonol, was isolated from the ethanol extract of the roots of Maackia tenuifolia. Its structure was elucidated as 7-hydrox-8-prenylflavonol by means of spectroscopic analysis (UV, IR, MS, NMR and 1H-1H COSY) and confirmed by total synthesis.
