An approach to the study of polyvalency-the interaction of polyvalent receptors with polyvalent ligands-in unnatural systems is outlined. In this study, the complexation of dibenzylammonium cations by dibenzo[24]crown-8 or benzometaphenylene[25]crown-8 is utilized as the component receptor-ligand interaction. Two analogous multivalent receptors-each containing either seven dibenzo[24]crown-8 (DB24C8 CLUSTER) or seven benzometaphenylene[25]crown-8 (BMP25C8 CLUSTER) moieties appended to a modified beta-cyclodextrin core-were prepared in moderate yields. For each of these multivalent receptors, complementary mono- and divalent ligands containing one or two dialkylammonium centers, respectively, were prepared in good yields. These ligands contained fluorine atom substituents to allow their interactions with crown ether compounds to be probed by (19)F NMR spectroscopy. The complexation of these monovalent ligands with the DB24C8 CLUSTER and the BMP25C8 CLUSTER was studied by determining the average binding constant (K(AVE)) between the receptors and ligands. The abilities of the crown ether clusters to complex with these monovalent ligands was compared with those of the monovalent crown ethers dibenzo[24]crown-8 and benzometaphenylene[25]crown-8. In both instances, it was found that clustering seven crown ethers together into one molecule is detrimental to the abilities of the crown ether moieties to complex with monovalent dialkylammonium ligands. The complexation of the divalent ligands by the DB24C8 CLUSTER and the BMP25C8 CLUSTER was then studied-again by determining K(AVE)-and their abilities to complex with these ligands was compared with those of their respective component interactions. By determining K(AVE) for the polyvalent interaction, it was possible to calculate an association constant, K(POLY), for the binding of the divalent ligands by the DB24C8 CLUSTER and the BMP25C8 CLUSTER compounds. In both instances K(POLY) for the polyvalent interaction was found to be approximately 2 orders of magnitude higher than the association constants, K(A), for the component interaction.  相似文献

1,3,5-Benzenetriphosphonic acid, H6BTP, 1,3,5-[(HO)2OP]3C6H3, was reacted hydrothermally with copper salts in the absence and presence of 4,4'-bipyridine (bpy) and 4,4'-trimethlyenedipyridine (tbpy) in a 1:1 molar ratio leading to three new organic-inorganic hybrid frameworks. Compound 1, {Cu6[C6H3(PO3)3]2(H2O)8} x 5.5 H2O, has three different copper ions that are interconnected by the highly charged [1,3,5-(PO3)3C6H3]6- anionic moieties. These moieties self-assemble through tetra-copper units to give a cagelike motif with two benzene rings parallel to each other at a distance of 3.531 A which extend along the a axis and link with a grouping of four-coordinated copper units in the b axis direction to give the cross-linked layered structure. In compound 2, Cu{C6H3[PO(OH)O]2[PO(OH)2]}(C10H8N2), the copper ions are in square pyramidal geometries and are interconnected via chelating and bridging BTP ligands into layers which are further cross-linked by bpy ligands into a pillared layered architecture. Compound 3, {Cu2C6H3[PO(OH)O]2[PO3](C13H14N2)} x 3 H2O x 0.5 HCON(CH3)2, contains tetra-copper units that are linked by BTP ligands and further linked by tbpy linkers in the c axis direction to produce a large channel-sized 3D framework.  相似文献

[graph: see text] Lumazine proteins of luminescent bacteria are paralogs of riboflavin synthase which are devoid of catalytic activity but bind the riboflavin synthase substrate, 6,7-dimethyl-8-ribityllumazine, with high affinity and are believed to serve as optical transponders for bioluminescence emission. Lumazine protein of Photobacterium leiognathi was expressed in a recombinant Escherichia coli host and was reconstituted with mixtures (random libraries) of 13C-labeled isotopologs of 6,7-dimethyl-8-ribityllumazine or riboflavin that had been prepared by biotransformation of [U-(13)C6]-, [1-(13)C1]-, [2-(13)C1]-, and [3-(13)C1]glucose. 13C NMR analysis of the protein/ligand complexes afforded the assignments of the 13C NMR chemical shifts for all carbon atoms of the protein-bound ligands by isotopolog abundance editing. The carbon atoms of the ribityl groups of both ligands studied were shifted up to 6 ppm upon binding to the protein. Chemical shift modulation of the side chain and chromophore carbon atoms due to protein/ligand interaction is discussed on the basis of the sequence similarity between lumazine protein and riboflavin synthase.  相似文献

Reactions of a range of the readily prepared and sterically tunable N,N'-bis(aryl)formamidines with lanthanoid metals and bis(pentafluorophenyl)mercury (Hg(C6F5)2) in THF have given an extensive series of tris(formamidinato)lanthanoid(III) complexes, [Ln(Form)3(thf)n], namely [La(o-TolForm)3(thf)2], [Er(o-TolForm)3(thf)], [La(XylForm)3(thf)], [Sm(XylForm)3], [Ln(MesForm)3] (Ln=La, Nd, Sm and Yb), [Ln(EtForm)3] (Ln=La, Nd, Sm, Ho and Yb), and [Ln(o-PhPhForm)3] (Ln=La, Nd, Sm and Er). [For an explanation of the N,N'-bis(aryl)formamidinate abbreviations used see Scheme 1.] Analogous attempts to prepare [Yb(o-TolForm)3] by this method invariably yielded [{Yb(o-TolForm)2(mu-OH)(thf)}2], but [Yb(o-TolForm)3] was isolated from a metathesis synthesis. X-ray crystal structures show exclusively N,N'-chelation of the Form ligands and a gradation in coordination number with Ln3+ size and with Form ligand bulk. The largest ligands, MesForm, EtForm and o-PhPhForm give solely homoleptic complexes, the first two being six-coordinate, the last having an eta1-pi-Ar--Ln interaction. Reaction of lanthanoid elements and Hg(C6F5)2 with the still bulkier DippFormH in THF resulted in C--F activation and formation of [Ln(DippForm)2F(thf)] (Ln=La, Ce, Nd, Sm and Tm) complexes, and o-HC6F4O(CH2)4DippForm in which the formamidine is functionalised by a ring-opened THF that has trapped tetrafluorobenzyne. Analogous reactions between Ln metals, Hg(o-HC6F4)2 and DippFormH yielded [Ln(DippForm)2F(thf)] (Ln=La, Sm and Nd) and 3,4,5-F3C6H2O(CH2)4DippForm. X-ray crystal structures of the heteroleptic fluorides show six-coordinate monomers with two chelating DippForm ligands and cisoid fluoride and THF ligands in a trigonal prismatic array. The organometallic species [Ln(DippForm)2(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)(thf)] (Ln=Nd or Sm) are obtained from reaction of Nd metal, bis(phenylethynyl)mercury (Hg(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)2) and DippFormH, and the oxidation of [Sm(DippForm)2(thf)2] with Hg(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)2, respectively. The monomeric, six-coordinate, cisoid [Ln(DippForm)2(C[triple chemical bond]CPh)(thf)] complexes have trigonal prismatic geometries and rare (for Ln) terminal C[triple chemical bond]CPh groups with contrasting Ln--C[triple chemical bond]C angles (Ln=Nd, 170.9(4) degrees; Ln=Sm, 142.9(7) degrees). Their formation lends support to the view that [Ln(DippForm)2F(thf)] complexes arise from oxidative formation and C--F activation of [Ln(DippForm)2(C6F5)] intermediates.  相似文献

A series of luminescent branched platinum(II) alkynyl complexes, [1,3,5-{RC[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]C-C6H4C[triple bond]C}3C6H3] (R=C6H5, C6H4OMe, C6H4Me, C6H4CF3, C5H4N, C6H4SAc, 1-napthyl (Np), 1-pyrenyl (Pyr), 1-anthryl-8-ethynyl (HC[triple bond]CAn)), [1,3-{PyrC[triple chemical bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}2-5-{(iPr)3SiC[triple bond]C}C6H3], and [1,3-{PyrC[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}2-5-(HC[triple bond]C)C6H3], was successfully synthesized by using the precursors [1,3,5-{Cl(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}3C6H3] or [1,3-{Cl(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}2-5-{(iPr)3SiC[triple bond]C}C6H3]. The X-ray crystal structures of [1,3,5-{MeOC6H4C[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}3C6H3] and [1,8-{Cl(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]C}2An] have been determined. These complexes were found to show long-lived emission in both solution and solid-state phases at room temperature. The emission origin of the branched complexes [1,3,5-{RC[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}3C6H3] with R=C6H5, C6H4OMe, C6H4Me, C6H4CF3, C5H4N, and C6H4SAc was tentatively assigned to be derived from triplet states of predominantly intraligand (IL) character with some mixing of metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) (dpi(Pt)-->pi*(C[triple bond]CR)) character, while the emission origin of the branched complexes with polyaromatic alkynyl ligands, [1,3,5-{RC[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}3C6H3] with R=Np, Pyr, or HC[triple bond]CAn, [1,3-{PyrC[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}2-5-{(iPr)3SiC[triple bond]C}C6H3], [1,3-{PyrC[triple bond]C(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]CC6H4C[triple bond]C}2-5-(HC[triple bond]C)C6H3], and [1,8-{Cl(PEt3)2PtC[triple bond]C}2An], was tentatively assigned to be derived from the predominantly 3IL states of the respective polyaromatic alkynyl ligands, mixed with some 3MLCT (d(pi)(Pt)-->pi*(C[triple bond]CR)) character. By incorporating different alkynyl ligands into the periphery of these branched complexes, one could readily tune the nature of the lowest energy emissive state and the direction of the excitation energy transfer.  相似文献

The reactivity of the tetranuclear metallated palladium compound (Pd[mu 2-(C6H4)PPh2]Br)4 (1) with different ligands has been investigated with the aim of evaluating the influence of the entering ligand on the nature of the reaction products. The results confirmed the ability of the ligand [(C6H4)PPh2]- to expand a bridging [mu 2-] or a chelating [eta 2-] coordination mode, depending on the auxiliary ligands present in the complex. Bulky phosphines stabilize mononuclear species of formula (Pd[eta 2-(C6H4)PPh2]Br[P]), with a four-atom metallocycle, while small phosphines give dinuclear compounds. The molecular structures of three different metalated palladium compounds have been determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography; the tetranuclear (Pd[mu 2-(C6H4)PPh2]Cl)4 (2), the dinuclear(Pd[mu 2-(C6H4)PPh2]Br[PMe3])2 (3), and the mononuclear (Pd[eta 2-(C6H4)PPh2]Br[PCBr]), (PCBr = P(o-BrC6H4)Ph2) (9) were obtained, the first one by halogen exchange reaction and the others by frame degradation of 1.  相似文献

The synthesis, structural characterisation and coordination behaviour of mono- and ditopic p-hydroquinone-based bis(pyrazol-1-yl)methane ligands is described (i.e., 2-(pz2CH)C6H3(OH)2 (2a), 2-(pz2CH)-6-(tBu)C6H2(OH)2 (2b), 2-(pz2CH)-6-(tBu)C6H2(OSiiPr3)(OH) (2c), 2,5-(pz2CH)2C6H2(OH)2 (4)). Ligands 2a, 2b and 4 can be oxidised to their p-benzoquinone state on a preparative scale (2a ox, 2b ox, 4 ox). An octahedral Ni II complex [trans-Ni(2c)2] and square-planar Pd II complexes [Pd2bCl2] and [Pd2b ox Cl2] have been prepared. In the two Pd II species, the ligands are coordinated only through their pyrazolyl rings. The fact that [Pd2bC12] and [Pd2b oxC12] are isolable compounds proves that redox transitions involving the p-quinone substituent are fully reversible. In [Pd2b oxCl2], the methine proton is highly acidic and can be abstracted with bases as weak as NEt(3). The resulting anion dimerises to give a dinuclear macrocyclic Pd II complex, which has been structurally characterised. The methylated ligand 2-(pz2CMe)C6H3O2 (11 ox) and its Pd II complex [Pd11 oxCl2] are base-stable. A new class of redox-active ligands is now available with the potential for applications both in catalysis and in materials science.  相似文献

The preparation and structures of seven new silver(I) complexes involving the parent tris(pyrazolyl)methane unit, [C(pz)(3)], as the donor set, {[C6H5CH2OCH2C(pz)3]Ag}(BF4), {[C6H5CH2OCH2C(pz)3]2Ag3}(CF3SO3)3, {[HOCH2C(pz)3]Ag}(BF4), {[HOCH2C(pz)3]Ag}(CF3SO3), {[HC(pz)3]2Ag2(CH3CN)}(BF4)2, {[HC(pz)3]Ag}(PF6), and {[HC(pz)3]Ag}(CF3SO3), are reported. This project is based on a retro-design of our multitopic C6H(6-n)[CH2OCH2C(pz)3]n (pz = pyrazolyl ring, n = 2, 3, 4, and 6) family of ligands in such a way that each new ligand has one fewer organizational feature. The kappa2-kappa1 bonding mode of the [C(pz)3] units to two silvers, also observed with the multitopic ligands, is the dominant structural feature in all cases. Changing the counterion has important effects on the local structures and on crystal packing. When these structures are compared to similar ones based on the multitopic C6H(6-n)[CH2OCH2C(pz)3]n ligands, it has been shown that the presence of the rigid parts (central arene core and the [C(pz)3] units) are important in order to observe highly organized supramolecular structures. The presence of the flexible ether linkage is also crucial, allowing all noncovalent forces to manifest themselves in a cumulative and complementary manner.  相似文献

Rare examples of heteroditopic scorpionate ligands [m-(pz(HO)BtBu)(pz2BtBu)C6H4]2- ([m]2-) and [p-(pz(HO)BtBu)(pz2BtBu)C6H4]2- ([p]2-) are reported. As a unique feature, both ligands possess a chiral boron centre. Treatment of [m]2- and [p]2- with FeII and CoII ions, respectively, gives the dinuclear metallomacrocycles [FeII2(micro-m)2] and [CoII2(micro-p)2]. The molecular structures of the colourless complex [FeII2(micro-m)2] and the red-purple complex [CoII2(micro-p)2] have been determined by X-ray crystallography. To meet the geometric requirements of macrocycle formation, the two asymmetric boron centres have opposite absolute configurations in the case of [FeII2(micro-m)2] and the same configuration in [CoII2(micro-p)2].  相似文献

Organic-inorganic hybrid materials based on polyoxometalate building blocks with capping La3+ ions and bidentate oxygenated ligands have been obtained by reaction at room temperature of the [epsilon-PMo12O36(OH)4[La(H2O)4]]5+ polyoxocation with glutarate (C5H6O(2)(2-)) and squarate (C4O(4)(2-)) organic ligands. [epsilon-PMo12O37(OH)3[La(H2O)4(C5H6O4)0.5]4].21 H2O (1) and [epsilon-PMo12O39(OH)[La(H2O)6]2-[La(H2O)5(C4O4)0.5]2].17 H2O (2) form unprecedented 1D chains built from alternating polyoxocations and organic ligands connected through LaO links. The structures of these materials are compared to the 2D hybrid organic-inorganic framework [NC4H12]2-[Mo22O52(OH)18[La(H2O)4]2[La(CH3CO2)2]4].8H2O (3) isolated from the hydrothermal reaction of elemental precursors (MoO(4)(2-), Mo, La3+) in acetate buffer. Compound 3 is built from previously undescribed polyoxometalate units with twenty-two MoV centers capped by six La3+ ions, four of which are bridged by acetate ligands.  相似文献

The electronic states of different conformations of platinum acetylides Pt(PH3)2(C[triple bond]C-Ph)2 and Pt(PH3)2(C[triple bond]C-PhC[triple bond]C-Ph)2 (PE1 and PE2) were calculated with density functional theory (DFT) using effective core potential basis sets. Time dependent DFT calculations of UV absorption spectra showed strong dependence of the intense absorption band maxima on mutual orientation of the phenyl rings with respect to the P-Pt-P axis. Geometry optimization of the first excited triplet state (T1) indicates broken symmetry structure with the excitation being localized in one ligand. This splits the two substitution ligands into a nondistorted aromatic ring with the C[triple bond]C-Ph bonds for one side and into a quinoid structure with a cumulenic C=C=C link on the other side. Quadratic response (QR) calculations of spin-orbit coupling and phosphorescence radiative lifetime (tauR) indicated a good agreement with experimental tauR values reported for solid PE1 and PE2 and PE2 capped with dendrimers in tetrahydrofuran solutions. The QR calculations reproduced an increase of tauR upon prolongation of pi chain of ligands and concommittant redshift of the phosphorescence. Moreover, it is shown how the phosphorescence borrows intensity from sigma-->pi* transitions localized at the C[triple bond]C-Pt-P fragments and that there is no intensity borrowing from delocalized pi-->pi* transitions.  相似文献

Structural analogues of the reduced (Mo(IV)) sites of members of the DMSO reductase family of molybdoenzymes are sought. These sites usually contain two pterin-dithiolene cofactor ligands and one protein-based ligand. Reaction of [Mo(MeCN)3(CO)3] and [Ni(S2C2R2)2] affords the trigonal prismatic complexes [Mo(CO)2(S2C2R2)2] (R = Me (1), Ph (2)), which by carbonyl substitution serve as useful precursors to a variety of bis(dithiolene)molybdenum-(IV,V) complexes. Reaction of 1 with Et4NOH yields [MoO(S2C2Me2)2]2- (3), which is readily oxidized to [MoO(S2C2Me2)2]1- (4). The hindered arene oxide ligands ArO- afford the square pyramidal complexes [Mo(OAr)(S2C2R2)2]1- (5, 6). The ligands PhQ- affordthe trigonal prismatic monocarbonyls [Mo(CO)(QPh)(S2C2Me2)2]1- (Q = S (8), Se (12)) while the bulky ligand ArS- forms square pyramidal [Mo(SAr)(S2C2R2)2]- (9, 10). In contrast, reactions with ArSe- result in [Mo(CO)(SeAr)(S2C2R2)2]1-(14, 15), which have not been successfully decarbonylated. Other compounds prepared by substitution reactions of 1 and 2 include the bridged dimers [Mo2(mu-Q)2(S2C2Me2)4]2- (Q = S (7), Se (11)) and [Mo2(mu-SePh)2(S2C2Ph2)4]2- (13). The complexes 1, 3-5, 7-10, 12-14, [Mo(S2C2Me2)3] (16), and [Mo(S2C2Me2)3]1- (17) were characterized by X-ray structure determinations. Certain complexes approach the binding arrangements in at least one DMSO reductase (5/6) and its Ser/Cys mutant, and in dissimilatory nitrate reductases (9/10). This investigation provides the initial demonstration of the new types of bis(dithiolene)molybdenum(IV) complexes available through [Mo(CO)2(S2C2R2)2] precursors, some of which will be utilized in reactivity studies. The synthesis and structural, photophysical, electrochemical, and electroluminescent properties of a class of platinum(II) complexes bearing sigma-alkynyl ancillary ligands, namely [(C/N/N)Pt(C[triple bond]C]nR] [H(C/N/N) = 6-aryl-2,2'-bipyridine; n = 1-4; R = aryl, alkyl, or trimethylsilyl], have been studied. Substituents with different steric and electronic properties were introduced into the tridentate cyclometalating and arylacetylide ligands, and the pi-conjugation length of the oligoynyl moiety was homologously extended from ethynyl to octatetraynyl. The X-ray crystal structures of several derivatives confirm the Pt-(CC) ligation and reveal various intermolecular interactions, such as pi-pi, Pt...Pt, and C-H...F-C. The complexes display good thermal stability and intense phosphorescence in fluid and glassy solutions with high quantum yields and microsecond lifetimes. Their emission energies are sensitive to solvent polarity, the electronic affinities of the substituents on both the cyclometalating and arylacetylide groups, and the length of the oligoynyl ligand. By choosing appropriate cyclometalating and sigma-alkynyl ligands, the emission color of this class of platinum(II) complexes can be tuned from green-yellow to saturated red. In addition to (3)MLCT [Pt(5d) --> pi*(C/N/N)] and (3)IL(C/N/N), intriguing (3)IL(alkynyl) excited states localized on -(C[triple bond]C)(4)- and -(C[triple bond]Cpyrenyl-1) moieties that afford narrow-bandwidth emissions have been observed. Selected Pt(II) complexes were doped into the emissive region of multilayer, vapor-deposited organic light-emitting diodes. The tunable electrophosphorescence energy resembles that recorded in fluid solutions for these emitters, and the devices exhibit high luminance and efficiencies (up to 4.2 cd A(-1)).  相似文献

Optical power limiting and luminescence properties of two Pt(II) complexes with thiophenyl and phenyl groups in the ligands, trans-Pt(P(n-Bu)3)2(C[triple bond]C-Ar)2, where Ar = -C4H2S-C[triple bond]C-p-C6H4-n-C5H11 (1) and -p-C6H4-C[triple bond]C-C4H3S (2), have been investigated. The fluorescence lifetimes were found to be on the sub-nanosecond time scale, and the quantum yields were low, in accord with fast intersystem crossing from the excited singlet to triplet manifold. The phosphorescence lifetimes of 1 and 2 were shorter than that of a Pt(II) complex having two phenyl groups in the ligands. In order to elucidate the C-Pt bonding nature in the ground state, the 13C NMR chemical shift of the carbon directly bonded to Pt, the coupling constants 1JPtC, 2JPtC, and 1JPtP, and IR nuC[triple bond]C wavenumbers were obtained for 1, 2, and three other trans-diarylalkynyl Pt(II) complexes. X-ray diffraction data of 1 and 2 and density functional theory calculated geometries of models of 1, 2, and trans-Pt(P(n-Bu)3)2(C[triple bond]C-p-C6H4-C[triple bond]C-C6H5)2 (3) show that 1 preferably exists in a different conformation from that of 2 and 3. The variations in photophysical, NMR, and IR data can be rationalized by differences in geometry and pi-backbonding from Pt to the alkynyl ligand.  相似文献

A straightforward synthesis of a new type of tetradentate dianionic [OSSO]-type ligand is described. This ligand features an ethylenedithiol core bridged via methylene groups to substituted phenols, thus representing an S analogue of the [ONNO]-type Salan ligands. The [OSSO]H2 ligand precursor reacted with titanium(IV) isopropoxide and with zirconium(IV) tert-butoxide to give the corresponding [OSSO]-M(OR)2 complexes, which formed as single C2-symmetric isomers but were fluxional according to variable-temperature NMR. An X-ray structure of [OSSO]-Zr(O-t-Bu)2 supported the fac-fac wrapping mode of the ligand. The dibenzyl complex [OSSO]-Zr(bn)2 that was obtained by a reaction between the ligand precursor and tetrabenzylzirconium was found to be an active 1-hexene polymerization catalyst upon activation with B(C6F5)3, leading to a stereoirregular polymer despite its C2 symmetry.  相似文献

Rhodium(III) and iridium(III) complexes containing bis(pyrazolyl)methane ligands (pz = pyrazole, L' in general; specifically, L1 = H2C(pz)2, L2 = H2C(pzMe2)2, L3 = H2C(pz4Me)2, L4 = Me2C(pz)2), have been prepared in a study exploring the reactivity of these ligands toward [Cp*MCl(mu-Cl)]2 dimers (M = Rh, Ir; Cp* = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl). When the reaction was carried out in acetone solution, complexes of the type [Cp*M(L')Cl]Cl were obtained. However, when L1 and L2 ligands have been employed with excess [Cp*MCl(mu-Cl)]2, the formation of [Cp*M(L')Cl][Cp*MCl3] species has been observed. PGSE NMR measurements have been carried out for these complexes, in which the counterion is a cyclopentadienyl metal complex, in CD2Cl2 as a function of the concentration. The hydrodynamic radius (rH) and, consequently, the hydrodynamic volume (VH) of all the species have been determined from the measured translational self-diffusion coefficients (Dt), indicating the predominance of ion pairs in solution. NOE measurements and X-ray single-crystal studies suggest that the [Cp*MCl3]- approaches the cation, orienting the three Cl-legs of the "piano-stool" toward the CH2 moieties of the bis(pyrazolyl)methane ligands. The reaction of 1 equiv of [Cp*M(L')Cl]Cl or [Cp*M(L')Cl][Cp*MCl3] with 1 equiv of AgX (X = ClO4 or CF3SO3) in CH2Cl2 allows the generation of [Cp*M(L')Cl]X, whereas the reaction of 1 equiv of [Cp*M(L')Cl] with 2 equiv of AgX yields the dicationic complexes [Cp*M(L')(H2O)][X]2, where single water molecules are directly bonded to the metal atoms. The solid-state structures of a number of complexes were confirmed by X-ray crystallographic studies. The reaction of [Cp*Ir(L')(H2O)][X]2 with ammonium formate in water or acetone solution allows the generation of the hydride species [Cp*Ir(L')H][X].  相似文献

The reaction of Ru2(S2C3H6)(CO)6 (1) with 2 equiv of Et4NCN yielded (Et4N)2[Ru2(S2C3H6)(CN)2(CO)4], (Et4N)2[3], which was shown crystallographically to consist of a face-sharing bioctahedron with the cyanide ligands in the axial positions, trans to the Ru-Ru bond. Competition experiments showed that 1 underwent cyanation >100x more rapidly than the analogous Fe2(S2C3H6)(CO)6. Furthermore, Ru2(S2C3H6)(CO)6 underwent dicyanation faster than [Ru2(S2C3H6)(CN)(CO)5]-, implicating a highly electrophilic intermediate [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-CO)(CN)(CO)5]-. Ru2(S2C3H6)(CO)6 (1) is noticeably more basic than the diiron compound, as demonstrated by the generation of [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CO)6]+, [1H]+. In contrast to 1, the complex [1H]+ is unstable in MeCN solution and converts to [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CO)5(MeCN)]+. (Et4N)2[3] was shown to protonate with HOAc (pKa = 22.3, MeCN) and, slowly, with MeOH and H2O. Dicyanide [3]2- is stable toward excess acid, unlike the diiron complex; it slowly forms the coordination polymer [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CN)(CNH)(CO)4]n, which can be deprotonated with Et3N to regenerate [H3]-. Electrochemical experiments demonstrate that [3H]- catalyzes proton reduction at -1.8 V vs Ag/AgCl. In contrast to [3]2-, the CO ligands in [3H]- undergo displacement. For example, PMe3 and [3H]- react to produce [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-H)(CN)2(CO)3(PMe3)]-. Oxidation of (Et4N)2[3] with 1 equiv of Cp2Fe+ gave a mixture of [Ru2(S2C3H6)(mu-CO)(CN)3(CO)3]- and [Ru2(S2C3H6)(CN)(CO)5]-, via a proposed [Ru2]2(mu-CN) intermediate. Overall, the ruthenium analogues of the diiron dithiolates exhibit reactivity highly reminiscent of the diiron species, but the products are more robust and the catalytic properties appear to be less promising.  相似文献

Synthesis of [PPh4]2[Mo(SPh)2(S2C2(CN)2)2] (2) from [PPh4]2[MoO(S2C2(CN)2)2] (1) has been achieved to mimic the postulated [Mo(S)6] core of polysulfide reductase with two thiolates and two bis(ene-dithiolate) ligands. Compound 2 reacts with polysulfide to yield H2S, modeling the function of polysulfide reductase. The facile conversion of 2 back to 1 in moist solvent suggests that the interconversion of the [MoIV = O] and [MoIV - X] (X = O-Ser, S-Cys, Se-Cys) moieties might occur in the DMSO reductase class of enzymes under appropriate hydrophobic/hydrophilic conditions.  相似文献

The reactivity of the Br?nsted basic mixed-metal tris-amide compounds of empirical formula [MMg(N(i)Pr2)3] [where M = Li (1), Na (2)] towards phenylacetylene (HC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CPh) has been investigated and has led to the synthesis of a series of mixed-metal acetylido-amido-magnesiates. Thus, 1 and 2 molar equivalents of the alkyne with [MMg(N(i)Pr2)3] produce heteroanionic bis(amido)-mono(acetylido) [LiMg(N(i)Pr2)2(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CPh)]2 (3) and mono(amido)-bis(acetylido) [(TMEDA) x Na(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CPh)2Mg(N(i)Pr2)](2) (4) (TMEDA = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) respectively. X-Ray crystallographic studies reveal that the new compounds adopt a different structural motif. Complex can be defined as an inverse crown structure, having a cationic eight-atom [(NaNMgN)2]2+ ring which hosts in its core two acetylido ligands. On the other hand, adopts a tetranuclear NaMgMgNa near-linear chain arrangement, held together by acetylido and amido bridges. The metal coordination geometries in both structures are distorted tetrahedral, and the sodium cations at the end of the mixed-metal chain carry terminal chelating TMEDA ligands. 1H and 13C NMR spectral data recorded in C6D6 solutions are also reported for and , and are consistent with the solid-state structures being retained in solution.  相似文献
