We investigate the quantum-classical transition in a system of two coupled kicked rotors. We lind that when the mass of one kicked rotor is much smaller than the other's, the influence of the light kicked rotor is still able to make decoherence of the heavy one. This leads to the quantum-classical transition of the heavy kicked rotor. We demonstrate this by two different coupling potentials.  相似文献

Numerical investigations on non-analytic quantum kicked systems are presented. A new type of localization - power-law localization is found to be universal in the nonanalytic systems. With increasing the perturbation strength, a transition from perturbative localization to pseudo-integrable system, to dynamical localization and to complete extension is clearly demonstrated. The dependence of the localization length on perturbation is given in different parameter regimes.  相似文献

We study the spectral properties of the Floquet operator for the periodically kicked HamiltonianH(t) =H 0+ + (tnT),H 0 being self-adjoint and pure point. We show that the Floquet operator is pure point for almost every , if is cyclic forH 0 and has absolutely convergent expansion in the basis of eigenstates ofH 0. When this last condition is not satisfied, the Floquet operator can have a continuous spectrum, as we show by an example.  相似文献

We investigate the interference of a kicked harmonic oscillator in phase space.With the measure of interference defined in Lee and Jeong[Phys.Rev.Lett.106(2011)220401],we show that interference increases more rapidly in the chaotic regime than in the regular regime,and that the sub-Planck structure is of importance for the decoherence time in the chaotic regime.We also find that interference plays an important role in energy transport between the kicking fields and the kicked harmonic oscillator.  相似文献

Discussed are quantized dynamical systems on orthogonal and affine groups. The special stress is laid on geodetic systems with affinely-invariant kinetic energy operators. The resulting formulas show that such models may be useful in nuclear and hadronic dynamics. They differ from traditional Bohr–Mottelson models where SL(n,ℝ) is used as a so-called non-invariance group. There is an interesting relationship between classical and quantized integrable lattices. Based on the multidimensional Ermakov theory, a general result that relates the Schrodinger equation and the Milne equation in terms of a space invariant is established. Using this result not only the role of phase in the Wigner function approach to quantum mechanics is demonstrated but also a better explanation for the Aharonov–Bohm effect is sought in terms of a fundamental phase and the matter-field-coupling current. The existence of a similar space invariant is also emphasized for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation.  相似文献

In a simple quantum cosmological model involving eleven dimensional space-time, an extended holographic conjecture suggests the nuclear force must be about forty orders of magnitude stronger than gravity. In quantum mechanics the center of a wave packet is precisely defined as the center of probability. The center-of-probability velocity describes the entire motion of the wave packet. In classical physics there is no precise counterpart to the center-of-probability velocity of quantum mechanics, in spite of the fact that there exist in the literature at least eight different velocities for the electromagnetic wave. We propose a center-of-energy velocity to describe the entire motion of general wave packets in classical physical systems. It is a measurable quantity, and is well defined for both continuous and discrete systems. For electromagnetic wave packets it is a generalization of the velocity of energy transport. General wave packets in several classical systems are studied and the center-of-energy velocity is calculated and expressed in terms of the dispersion relation and the Fourier coefficients. These systems include string subject to an external force, monatomic chain and diatomic chain in one dimension, and classical Heisenberg model in one dimension. In most cases the center-of-energy velocity reduces to the group velocity for quasi-monochromatic wave packets. Thus it also appears to be the generalization of the group velocity. Wave packets of the relativistic Dirac equation are discussed briefly.  相似文献

A new realist interpretation of quantum mechanics is introduced. Quantum systems are shown to have two kinds of properties: the usual ones described by values of quantum observables, which are called extrinsic, and those that can be attributed to individual quantum systems without violating standard quantum mechanics, which are called intrinsic. The intrinsic properties are classified into structural and conditional. A systematic and self-consistent account is given. Much more statements become meaningful than any version of Copenhagen interpretation would allow. A new approach to classical properties and measurement problem is suggested. During the long course of evolution, nature has learnt how to exploit quantum effects. In fact, recent experiments reveal the existence of quantum processes whose coherence extends over unexpectedly long time and space ranges. In particular, photosynthetic processes in light-harvesting complexes display a typical oscillatory dynamics ascribed to quantum coherence. Here, we consider the simple model where a dimer made of two chromophores is strongly coupled with a quasi-resonant vibrational mode. We observe the occurrence of wide oscillations of genuine quantum correlations, between electronic excitations and the environment, represented by vibrational bosonic modes. Such a quantum dynamics has been unveiled through the calculation of the negativity of entanglement and the discord, indicators widely used in quantum information for quantifying the resources needed to realize quantum technologies. We also discuss the possibility of approximating additional weakly-coupled off-resonant vibrational modes, simulating the disturbances induced by the rest of the environment, by a single vibrational mode. Within this approximation, one can show that the off-resonant bath behaves like a classical source of noise.  相似文献

本文研究了双光子过程原子与耦合腔相互作用系统中腔场的压缩效应和反聚束效应.考虑系统总激发数等于2的情况,利用数值计算方法讨论了腔场间的耦合强度变化和原子与腔场间耦合强度变化对反聚束效应的影响.研究结果表明:腔场不呈现出压缩效应;腔场的反聚束效应与原子与腔场的耦合系数之间,以及与腔场间的耦合系数之间都存在着非线性关系.  相似文献

We show the existence of an anticentrifugal force for a quantum particle in a bent waveguide. This effect may be observed in interference experiments which are sensitive to the additional phase of the wavefunction gained in the bent regions and can find application in distinguishing between straight and bent geometries.  相似文献
