Zusammenfassung Es wird die Spannungsverteilung untersucht, die sich in einem breiten Balken mit konstanter Höhe unter einem konstanten Biegemoment ausbildet, wenn er eine kleine elliptische Einschliessung mit Zentrum auf der Neutralachse enthält. There have been many results obtained so far for the mean square of the (absolute) value of the Dirichlet L-function L(s,) in the critical strip 0<<1, especially on the critical line , but relatively few results were known for discrete mean value of |L(1,)|2 till W. Zhang had published papers improving the error term step by step, which have recently been superseded by M. Katsurada and K.Matsumoto in which they succeeded in deriving an asymptotic formula for 0|L(1,)|2. In its simplest form the Strong Maximum Principle says that a nonnegative superharmonic continuous function in a domain n ,n 1, is in fact positive everywhere. Here we prove that the same conclusion is true for the weak solutions of – u + (u) = f with a nondecreasing function ,(0)=0, andf0 a.e. in if and only if the integral((s)s) –1/2 ds diverges ats=0+. We extend the result to more general equations, in particular to – p u + (u) =f where p (u) = div(|Du| p-2 Du), 1 <p < . Our main result characterizes the nonexistence of a dead core in some reaction-diffusion systems.This work was partly done while the author was visiting the University of Minnesota as a Fulbright Scholar.  相似文献

For a bounded regular Jordan domain in R 2, we introduce and study a new class of functions K() related on its Green function G. We exploit the properties of this class to prove the existence and the uniqueness of a positive solution for the singular nonlinear elliptic equation u+(x,u)=0, in D(), with u=0 on and uC(), where is a nonnegative Borel measurable function in ×(0,) that belongs to a convex cone which contains, in particular, all functions (x,t)=q(x)t ,>0 with nonnegative functions qK().
