Reaction of [RhCl(PPh3)2]2 with parahydrogen revealed that the binuclear dihydride [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2mu-Cl)2Rh(PPh3)2] and the tetrahydride complex [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)]2 are readily formed. While magnetisation transfer from free H2 into both the hydride resonances of the tetrahydride and [Rh(H)2Cl(PPh3)3] is observable, neither transfer into [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)2Rh(PPh3)2] nor transfer between the two binuclear complexes is seen. Consequently [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)]2 and [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)2Rh(PPh3)2] are not connected on the NMR timescale by simple elimination or addition of H2. The rapid exchange of free H2 into the tetrahydride proceeds via reversible halide bridge rupture and the formation of [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)RhCl(H)2(PPh3)2]. When these reactions are examined in CD2Cl2, the formation of the solvent complex [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)2Rh(CD2Cl2)(PPh3)] and the deactivation products [Rh(Cl)(H)PPh3)2(mu-Cl)(mu-H)Rh(Cl)(H)PPh3)2] and [Rh(Cl)(H)(CD2Cl2)(PPh3)(mu-Cl)(mu-H)Rh(Cl)(H)PPh3)2] is indicated. In the presence of an alkene and parahydrogen, signals corresponding to binuclear complexes of the type [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-Cl)(2)(Rh)(PPh3)(alkene)] are detected. These complexes undergo intramolecular hydride interchange in a process that is independent of the concentration of styrene and catalyst and involves halide bridge rupture, followed by rotation about the remaining Rh-Cl bridge, and bridge re-establishment. This process is facilitated by electron rich alkenes. Magnetisation transfer from the hydride ligands of these complexes into the alkyl group of the hydrogenation product is also observed. Hydrogenation is proposed to proceed via binuclear complex fragmentation and trapping of the resultant intermediate [RhCl(H)2PPh3)2] by the alkene. Studies on a number of other binuclear dihydride complexes including [(H)(Cl)Rh(PMe3)2(mu-H)(mu-Cl)Rh(CO)(PMe3)], [(H)2Rh(PMe3)2(mu-Cl)2Rh(CO)(PMe3)] and [HRh(PMe3)2(mu-H)(mu-Cl)2Rh(CO)(PMe3)] reveal that such species are able to play a similar role in hydrogenation catalysis. When the analogous iodide complexes [RhIPPh3)2]2 and [RhI(PPh3)3] are examined, [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-I)2Rh(PPh3)2], [Rh(H)2(PPh3)2(mu-I)]2 and [Rh(H)2I(PPh3)3] are observed in addition to the corresponding binuclear alkene-dihydride products. The higher initial activity of these precursors is offset by the formation of the trirhodium phosphide bridged deactivation product, [[(H)(PPh3)Rh(mu-H)(mu-I)(mu-PPh2)Rh(H)(PPh3)](mu-I)2Rh(H)2PPh3)2]  相似文献

Hydrogenation of sorbic acid in ethyl acetate with [RhCl(PPh3)3] was studied and compared to the hydrogenation of its K-salt in water catalyzed by [RhCl(mtppms)3]. Aqueous biphasic hydrogenation of sorbic acid with [RhCl(mtppms)3] as catalyst proceeded faster and more selectively than that in homogeneous solutions and afforded trans-hex-2-enoic acid with 80% selectivity.  相似文献

The indan derived diphosphine, cis-1,3-(diphenylphosphino)indan (anphos) is synthesised by the addition of Ph2P(BH3)Li to cis-1,3-dibromoindan followed by deprotection with diethylamine. Anphos readily forms the bicyclic chelates [RhCl(CO)(anphos)], [PtCl2(anphos)], [PtCl(Me)(anphos)] and [FeCl2(anphos)]. The crystal structures of [FeCl2(anphos)] and the monoxide complex, [RhCl(CO)(anphosO)] have been determined. Reaction of the diphosphine with [Rh(acac)(CO)2] under moderate hydroformylation conditions catalysed the formation of 1-heptanal and branched aldehydes from 1-hexene in a ratio of 1.5:1.  相似文献

Reaction of [[Rh(mu-Cl)(CO)2]2] with the triazene ArNNNHAr (Ar = o-CO2MeC6H4) produced the mononuclear complex [RhCl(ArNNNHAr)(CO)2] (1). Complex 1 reacted with KOH in methanol to give the dinuclear compound [[Rh(mu-ArNNNAr)(CO)2]2] (2), which showed a "mu-(1kappaN1,2kappaN3)-ArNNNAr" coordination mode for both bridging ligands. The dinuclear complex [[Rh(mu-ArNNNAr)(CO)2]2] (2) easily undergoes redistribution reactions in which the eight-membered "Rh2(NNN)2" core is broken. Thus, reaction of 2 with the anionic complex (NHEt3)[RhCl2(CO)2] gave the single-bridged complex (NHEt3)[Rh2(mu-ArNNNAr)Cl2(CO)4] (4), while the trinuclear complexes [Rh3(mu-ArNNNAr)(mu-Cl)(mu-CO)Cl(CO)4] (5) and [Rh3(mu-ArNNNAr)2(mu-Cl)(mu-CO)(CO)3] (6) were isolated by addition of the neutral compound [[Rh(mu-Cl)(CO)2]2] to 2, depending on the molar ratio employed. The formation of 5 and 6 involved the loss of carbonyl groups and the coordination of the oxygen atoms of the CO2Me groups. The structures of 4, 5, and 6 have been determined by X-ray diffraction methods, which show the ability of bis(o-carboxymethylphenyl)triazenide to act as bi-, tri-, and tetra-dentate ligand-spanning dinuclear moieties in trinuclear complexes.  相似文献

The coordination abilities of the novel N,N'-diphosphino-silanediamine ligand of formula SiMe(2)(NtolPPh(2))(2) (SiNP, 1) have been investigated toward rhodium, and the derivatives [RhCl(SiNP)](2) (2), [Rh(SiNP)(COD)][BF(4)] (3), and Rh(acac)(SiNP) (4) have been synthesized. The stability of the dinuclear frame of [RhCl(SiNP)](2) (2) toward incoming nucleophiles has been shown to be dependent on their π-acceptor ability. Indeed, the mononuclear complexes RhCl(SiNP)(L) (L = CO, 5; CN(t)Bu, 6) have been isolated purely and quantitatively upon reaction of 2 with CO and CN(t)Bu, respectively. Otherwise, PPh(3) and RhCl(SiNP) equilibrate with Rh(Cl)(SiNP)(PPh(3)) (7). Carbon electrophiles such as MeI and 3-chloro-1-proprene afforded the oxidation of rhodium(I) to rhodium(III) and the formation of RhCl(2)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))(SiNP) (8) and Rh(Me)(I)(SiNP)(acac) (10), respectively. The methyl derivative 10 is thermally stable and does not react either with CO or with CN(t)Bu even in excess. Otherwise, RhCl(2)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))(SiNP) (8) is thermally stable but reacts with CO, affording 3-chloro-1-proprene and RhCl(SiNP)(CO) (5). Finally, upon reaction of Rh(acac)(SiNP) (4) and 3-chloro-1-proprene, RhCl(acac)(η(1)-C(3)H(5))(SiNP) (9a) and [Rh(acac)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))(SiNP)]Cl (9b) could be detected at 233 K. At higher temperatures, 9a and 9b smoothly decompose, affording the dinuclear derivative [RhCl(SiNP)](2) (2) and the CC coupling product 3-allylpentane-2,4-dione.  相似文献

The alkynyl(vinylidene)rhodium(I) complexes trans-[Rh(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CR)(=C=CHR)(PiPr3)2] 2, 5, 6 react with CO by migratory insertion to give stereoselectively the butenynyl compounds trans-[Rh{eta1-(Z)-C(=CHR)C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CR}(CO)(PiPr3)2](Z)-7-9, of which (Z)-7 (R=Ph) and (Z)-8 (R=tBu) rearrange upon heating or UV irradiation to the (E) isomers. Similarly, trans-[Rh{eta1-C(=CH2)C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CPh}(CO)(PiPr3)2] 12 and trans-[Rh{eta1-(Z)-C(=CHCO2Me)C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CR}(CO)(PiPr3)2](Z)-15, (Z)-16 have been prepared. At room temperature, the corresponding "non-substituted" derivative trans-[Rh{eta1-C(=CH2)C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CH}(CO)(PiPr3)2] 18 is in equilibrium with the butatrienyl isomer trans-[Rh(eta1-CH=]C=C=CH2)(CO)(PiPr3)2] 19 that rearranges photochemically to the alkynyl complex trans-[Rh(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=CH2)(CO)(PiPr3)2] 20. Reactions of (Z)-7, (E)-7, (Z)-8 and (E)-8 with carboxylic acids R'CO2H (R'=CH3, CF3) yield either the butenyne (Z)- and/or (E)-RC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=CHR or a mixture of the butenyne and the isomeric butatriene, the ratio of which depends on both R and R'. Treatment of 2 (R=Ph) with HCl at -40 degrees C affords five-coordinate [RhCl(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CPh){(Z)-CH=CHPh}(PiPr3)2] 23, which at room temperature reacts by C-C coupling to give trans-[RhCl{eta2-(Z)-PhC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=CHPh}(PiPr3)2](Z)-21. The related compound trans-[RhCl(eta2-HC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=CH2)(PiPr3)2] 27, prepared from trans-[Rh(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CH)(=C=CH2)(PiPr3)2] 17 and HCl, rearranges to the vinylvinylidene isomer trans-[RhCl(=C=CHCH=CH2)(PiPr3)2] 28. While stepwise reaction of 2with CF3CO2H yields, via alkynyl(vinyl)rhodium(III) intermediates (Z)-29 and (E)-29, the alkyne complexes trans-[Rh(kappa1-O2CCF3)(eta2-PhC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=CHPh)(PiPr3)2](Z)-30 and (E)-30, from 2 and CH3CO2H the acetato derivative [Rh(kappa2-O2CCH3)(PiPr3)2] 33 and (Z)-PhC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=]CHPh are obtained. From 6 (R=CO2Me) and HCl or HC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCO2Me the chelate complexes [RhX(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCO2Me){kappa2(C,O)-CH=CHC(OMe)=O}(PiPr3)2] 34 (X=Cl) and 35 (X=C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCO2Me) have been prepared. In contrast to the reactions of [Rh(kappa2-O2CCH3)(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CE)(CH=CHE)(PiPr3)2] 37(E=CO2Me) with chloride sources which give, via intramolecular C-C coupling, four-coordinate trans-[RhCl{eta2-(E)-EC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CCH=CHE}(PiPr3)2](E)-36, treatment of 37with HC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CE affords, via insertion of the alkyne into the rhodium-vinyl bond, six-coordinate [Rh(kappa2-O2CCH3)(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]CE){eta1-(E,E)-C(=CHE)CH=CHE}(PiPr3)2] 38. The latter reacts with MgCl2 to yield trans-[RhCl{eta2-(E,E)-EC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CC(=CHE)CH=CHE}(PiPr3)2] 39, which, in the presence of CO, generates the substituted hexadienyne (E,E)-EC[triple bond, length as m-dash]CC(=CHE)CH=CHE 40.

The bis(ethylene) Rh species TpMe2Rh(C2H4)2(1*) (TpMe2 = tris(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazol-1-yl)hydroborate) has been obtained from [RhCl(C2H4)2]2 and KTpMe2. Complex 1* easily decomposes in solution to give mainly the butadiene species TpMe2Rh(eta74-C4H6). In the solid state its thermal decomposition follows a different course and the allyl TpMe2RhH(syn-C3H4Me) is cleanly obtained as a mixture of exo and endo isomers. The complexes Tp'Rh(C2H4)2 (Tp' = Tp, TpMe2) afford the monosubstituted species Tp'Rh(C2H4)(PR3) upon reaction with PR3 but react differently with L = CO or CNR: the Tp compound gives dinuclear [TpRh]2(mu-L)3 complexes, while, in the case of 1*, TpMe2Rh(C2H4)(L) species are obtained. The ethylene ligand of complexes TpMe2Rh(C2H4)(PR3) is labile, and several peroxo compounds of composition TpMe2Rh(O2)(PR3) have been isolated by their reaction with O2. All the mononuclear Rh(I) complexes are formulated as 18e- trigonal bipyramidal species on the basis of IR and NMR spectroscopic studies. A series of dihydride complexes of Rh(III) of formulation Tp'RhH2(PR3) have been prepared by the hydrogenation of the corresponding ethylene derivatives. Complexes [TpRh]2(mu-CNCy)3, TpMe2Rh(C2H4)(PEt3), and TpMe2Rh(O2)(PEt3) have been further characterized by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The reaction of AgClO(4) and NH(3) in acetone gave [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1). The reactions of 1 with [RhCl(diolefin)](2) or [RhCl(CO)(2)](2) (2:1) gave the bis(acetimine) complexes [Rh(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) [diolefin = 1,5 cyclooctadiene = cod (2), norbornadiene = nbd (3)] or [Rh(CO)(2)(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (4), respectively. Mono(acetimine) complexes [Rh(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) [diolefin = cod (5), nbd (6)] or [RhCl(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))] [diolefin = cod (7), nbd (8)] were obtained by reacting 2 or 3 with PPh(3) (1:1) or with Me(4)NCl (1:1.1), respectively. The reaction of 4 with PR(3) (R = Ph, To, molar ratio 1:2) led to [Rh(CO)(NH=CMe(2))(PR(3))(2)]ClO(4) [R = Ph (9), C(6)H(4)Me-4 = To (10)] while cis-[Rh(CO)(NH=CMe(2))(2)(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (11) was isolated from the reaction of 1 with [RhCl(CO)(PPh(3))](2) (1:1). The crystal structures of 5 and [Ag[H(2)NC(Me)(2)CH(2)C(O)Me](PTo(3))]ClO(4) (A), a product obtained in a reaction between NH(3), AgClO(4), and PTo(3), have been determined.  相似文献

The rhodium allenylidenes trans-[RhCl[[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(Ph)R](PiPr(3))(2)] [R = Ph (1), p-Tol (2)] react with NaC(5)H(5) to give the half-sandwich type complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Rh[[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(Ph)R](PiPr(3))] (3, 4). The reaction of 1 with the Grignard reagent CH(2)[double bond]CHMgBr affords the eta(3)-pentatrienyl compound [Rh(eta(3)-CH(2)CHC[double bond]C[double bond]CPh(2))(PiPr(3))(2)] (6), which in the presence of CO rearranges to the eta(1)-pentatrienyl derivative trans-[Rh[eta(1)-C(CH[double bond]CH(2))[double bond]C[double bond]CPh(2)](CO)(PiPr(3))(2)] (7). Treatment of 7 with acetic acid generates the vinylallene CH(2)[double bond]CH[bond]CH[double bond]=C=CPh(2) (8). Compounds 1 and 2 react with HCl to give the five-coordinate allenylrhodium(III) complexes [RhCl(2)[CH[double bond]C[double bond]C(Ph)R](PiPr(3))(2)] (10, 11). An unusual [C(3) + C(2) + P] coupling process takes place upon treatment of 1 with terminal alkynes HC[triple bond]CR', leading to the formation of the eta(3)-allylic compounds [RhCl[eta(3)-anti-CH(PiPr(3))C(R')C[double bond]C[double bond]CPh(2)](PiPr(3))] [R' = Ph (12), p-Tol (13), SiMe(3) (14)]. From 12 and RMgBr the corresponding phenyl and vinyl rhodium(I) derivatives 15 and 16 have been obtained. The previously unknown unsaturated ylide iPr(3)PCHC(Ph)[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]CPh(2) (17) was generated from 12 and CO. A [C(3) + P] coupling process occurs on treatment of the rhodium allenylidenes 1, 2, and trans-[RhCl[[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(p-Anis)(2)](PiPr(3))(2)] (20) with either Cl(2) or PhICl(2), affording the ylide-rhodium(III) complexes [RhCl(3)[C(PiPr(3))C[double bond]C(R)R'](PiPr(3))] (21-23). The butatrienerhodium(I) compounds trans-[RhCl[eta(2)-H(2)C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(R)R'](PiPr(3))(2)] (28-31) were prepared from 1, 20, and trans-[RhCl[[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(Ph)R](PiPr(3))(2)] [R = CF(3) (26), tBu (27)] and diazomethane; with the exception of 30 (R = CF(3), R' = Ph), they thermally rearrange to the isomers trans-[RhCl[eta(2)-H(2)C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(R)R'](PiPr(3))(2)] (32, 33, and syn/anti-34). The new 1,1-disubstituted butatriene H(2)C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C(tBu)Ph (35) was generated either from 31 or 34 and CO. The iodo derivatives trans-[RhI(eta(2)-H(2)C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]CR(2))(PiPr(3))(2)] [R = Ph (38), p-Anis (39)] were obtained by an unusual route from 1 or 20 and CH(3)I in the presence of KI. While the hydrogenation of 1 and 26 leads to the allenerhodium(I) complexes trans-[RhCl[eta(2)-H(2)C[double bond]C[double bond]C(Ph)R](PiPr(3))(2)] (40, 41), the thermolysis of 1 and 20 produces the rhodium(I) hexapentaenes trans-[RhCl(eta(2)-R(2)C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]C[double bond]CR(2))(PiPr(3))(2)] (44, 45) via C-C coupling. The molecular structures of 3, 7, 12, 21, and 28 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Reaction of HCl with [RhCl(C2H4)(PR3)]2 affords the dinuclear alkylrhodium(III) complex [RhCl2(C2H5)(PR3)]2, the structure of which has been determined crystallographically. PR3 is the formerly unknown trialkyl phosphine tBu2PCH2CH2C6H3-2,6-Me2, prepared in three steps from tBuPCl2. Treatment of the title compound with CO gives the mononuclear rhodium dicarbonyl cis-[RhCl(CO)2(PR3)], being the first fully characterized complex of this type.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural characterization of trans‐[RhCl(NO)(PtBu2H)2]BF4 ( 2 ) is reported. The title compound could easily be prepared in good yields by a kind of “bridge‐splitting” reaction of [{Rh(μ‐Cl)(PtBu2H)2}2] ( 1 ) with an appropriate amount of nitrosonium tetrafluoridoborate in dichloromethane at room temperature. Single crystals of 2 were grown from dichloromethane/diethyl ether and were analyzed by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

Novel dinuclear rhodium complexes of the general composition [Rh2Cl2(mu-CRR')2(mu-SbiPr3)] (4-6) were prepared by thermolysis of the mononuclear precursors trans-[RhCl(=CRR')(SbiPr3)2] in excellent yield. The X-ray crystal structure analysis of 4 (R = R' = Ph) confirms the symmetrical bridging position of the stibane ligand. Related compounds [Rh2Cl2(mu-CPh2)(mu-CRR')(mu-SbiPr3)] (7, 8) with two different carbene units were obtained either from trans-[RhCl(=CPh2)(SbiPr3)2] (1) and RR'CN2 or by a conproportionation of 4 and 5 (R = R' = p-Tol) or 4 and 6 (R= Ph, R' = p-Tol), respectively. While CO reacts with 4 to give the polymeric product [[RhCl(CPh2)(CO)]n] (9), tert-butyl isocyanide replaces the bridging stibane and yields [Rh2Cl2(mu-CPh2)2(mu-CNtBu)] (10). The reaction of 4 with tertiary phosphanes PR3 leads to complete bridge cleavage and affords the mononuclear compounds trans-[RhCl(=CPh2)(PR3)2] (11-15). In contrast, treatment of 4 with SbMe3 and SbEt3 yields the related triply bridged complexes [Rh2Cl2(mu-CPh2)2(mu-SbR3)] (16, 17) by substitution of SbiPr3 for the smaller stibanes. The displacement of the chloro ligands in 4-6 and 10 by n5-cyclopentadienyl gives the dinuclear complexes [(n5-C5H5)2Rh2(mu-CRR')2] (18-20) and [(n5-C5H5)2Rh2(mu-CPh2)2(mu-CNtBu)] (21), of which 18 (R = R' = Ph) was characterized crystallographically.  相似文献

A class of alkenyl propargyl acetates, RCH(OAc)C≡CC(CH(3))═CH(2) (5), are found to undergo [4 + 1] cycloaddition with CO (1 atm) in the presence of [RhCl(CO)(2)](2) in refluxing 1,2-dichloroethane to give cyclopentenones (6) in good yields. It has been demonstrated that, when the R group of 5 is a phenyl group bearing o-electron-withdrawing substituents, up to 10:1 diastereoselectivity and 96% yield can be achieved for the [4 + 1] cycloaddition. This process provides a convenient method to construct highly functionalized cyclopentenones that are useful in organic synthesis.  相似文献

RhCl(PMe3)3 (1) reacts with benzene under irradiation to give the oxidative addition product, Rh(C6H5)(H)Cl(PMe3)3 (2). The reaction is promoted under CO2 atmosphere. The structure of 2 was fully characterized by X-ray crystallography as well as NMR, IR, and elemental analysis. The adduct (2) is unstable in solution even at room temperature to regenerate benzene and 1. The thermolysis of 2 under a CO atmosphere produces benzaldehyde along with the reductive elimination product, benzene. On the other hand, the prolonged photoreaction of 1 with benzene under CO2 resulted in the activation of the C-H bond and CO2 to yield Rh(C6H5)(eta2-CO3)(PMe3)3 (3).  相似文献

Rhodium-103 chemical shifts are reported for 62 compounds, namely [Rh(X)(PPh3)3] [X = Cl, N3, NCO, NCS, N(CN)2, NCBPh3, CNBPh3, CN] and derivatives formed by replacement of a phosphine by CO, xylyl isocyanide (XNC) and pyridine and/or by oxidative addition of H2 or O2 to give trans-[Rh(X)(PPh3)2(CO)] (delta in the range -816 to -368 ppm) trans-[Rh(X)(PPh3)2(XNC)] (delta -817 to -250 ppm), cis-[Rh(X)(PPh3)2(py)] (the trans isomer is formed with X = CN, CNBPh3) (delta -233 to 170 ppm), [Rh(X)(H)2(PPh3)3] (delta -611 to 119), trans-[Rh(X)(H)2(PPh3)2(py)] (delta -30 to 566 ppm), [Rh(X)(O2)(PPh3)3] (delta 1393 to 3273 ppm) and cis-[Rh(X)(O2)(PPh3)2(py)] (delta 1949 to 3374 ppm). For the majority of these compounds data were obtained from solutions in chloroform and in toluene at temperatures of 247 and 300 K; for [Rh(X)(PPh3)3] (delta -562 to -4 ppm) data are reported at a number of temperatures in the range 195-300 K for solutions in chloroform, toluene and dichloromethane and at 300 K for solutions in DMSO. The expected trend to lower delta(103Rh) with decreasing temperature (vibrational shielding) is observed for the dichloromethane data, but data from solutions {of [Rh(X)(PPh3)3]} in chloroform and toluene show a number of features which diverge from this pattern, i.e. shifts to higher delta are found to accompany a decrease in temperature, most noticeably where X = CN and Cl [on changing the solvent from dichloromethane to chloroform changes in delta(103Rh) of up to 172 ppm are observed]. These results are interpreted in terms of a hydrogen-bonded interaction with the solvent that is enhanced by the presence of a polarizable ligand (CN, Cl). With a ligand (O2CCF3) that is only weakly polarizable the solvent dependence of delta(103Rh) is minimal.  相似文献

The reactions of 2-(arylazo) anilines, HL (1) [where HL is 2-(ArN=N)C6H4NH2; Ar is C6H5 (for HL1, 1a) and p-MeC6H4 (for HL2, 1b); H of HL represents the proton of Ar which gets dissociated upon orthometalation] with RhCl3 in methanol afforded new orthometalated complexes of composition (L)(HL)Rh(III)Cl2 (2) and (L)(ArNH2)Rh(III)Cl2 (3). The anionic L- binds the metal in tridentate (C, N, N) manner in both the complexes, while HL and ArNH2 bind the metal of 2 and 3 in monodentate fashion through the amino nitrogen. The ArNH2 of 3 was formed in situ due to cleavage of azo (-N=N-) function of monodentate HL of 2. The scission of N=N has been authenticated.  相似文献

Treatment of [RhCl(eta4-diene)]2 (diene = nbd, cod) with the N-heterocyclic ligands 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), and pyridine (py) followed by addition of Cs[arachno-6-SB9H12] affords the corresponding salts, [Rh(eta4-diene)(L2)][SB9H12] [diene = cod, L2 = bpy (1), Me2bpy (3), phen (5), (py)2 (7); diene = nbd, L2 = bpy (2), Me2bpy (4), phen (6), (py)2 (8)]. These compounds are characterized by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, and in addition, the cod-Rh species 1 and 3 are studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. These saltlike reagents are stable in the solid state, but in solution the rhodium(I) cations, [Rh(eta4-diene)(L2)]+, react with the polyhedral anion [SB9H12]- leading to a chemistry that is controlled by the d8 transition element chelates. The nbd-Rh(I) complexes react faster than the cod-Rh(I) counterparts, leading, depending on the conditions, to the synthesis of new rhodathiaboranes of general formulas [8,8-(L2)-nido-8,7-RhSB9H10] [L2 = bpy (9), Me2bpy (10), phen (11), (py)2 (12)] and [8,8-(L2)-8-(L')-nido-8,7-RhSB9H10] [L' = PPh3, L2 = bpy (13), Me2bpy (14), phen (15); L' = NCCH3, L2 = bpy (16), Me2bpy (17), phen (18)]. Compound 13 is characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis confirming the 11-vertex nido-structure of the rhodathiaborane analogues 14-18. In dichloromethane, 1 and 3 yield mixtures that contain the 11-vertex rhodathiaboranes 9 and 10 together with new species. In contrast, the cod-Rh(I) reagent 5 affords a single compound, which is proposed to be an organometallic rhodium complex bound exo-polyhedrally to the thiaborane cage. In the presence of H2(g) and stoichiometric amounts of PPh3, the cod-Rh(I) reagents, 1, 3, and 5, afford the salts [Rh(H)2(L2)(PPh3)2][SB9H12] [L2 = bpy (19), Me2bpy (20), phen (21)]. Similarly, in an atmosphere of CO(g) and in the presence of PPh3, compounds 1-6 afford [Rh(L2)(PPh3)2(CO)][SB9H12] (L2 = bpy (22), Me2bpy (23), phen (24)]. The structures of 19 and 24 are studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. The five-coordinate complexes [Rh(L2)(PPh3)2(CO)]+ undergo PPh3 exchange in a process that is characterized as dissociative. The observed differences in the reactivity of the nbd-Rh(I) salts versus the cod-Rh(I) analogues are rationalized on the basis of the higher kinetic lability of the nbd ligand and its faster hydrogenation relative to the cod diene.  相似文献

The diastereoselective addition of Ph(2)PH to the chiral ortho-substituted eta(6)-benzaldimine complexes (eta(6)-o-X-C(6)H(4)CH=NAr)Cr(CO)(3) (1, X = MeO, Ar = p-C(6)H(4)OMe; 2, X = Cl, Ar = Ph) leads to the formation of the corresponding chiral aminophosphines (alpha-P,N) Ph(2)P-CH(Ar(1))-NHAr(2) (3, Ar(1) = o-C(6)H(4)(OCH(3))[Cr(CO)(3)], Ar(2) = p-C(6)H(4)OCH(3); 4, Ar(1) = o-C(6)H(4)Cl[Cr(CO)(3)], Ar(2) = Ph) in equilibrium with the starting materials. The uncomplexed benzaldimine (o-ClC(6)H(4)CH=NPh), 2', analogously produces an equilibrium amount of the corresponding aminophosphine Ph(2)P-CH(Ar(1))-NHAr(2) (4', Ar(1) = o-C(6)H(4)Cl, Ar(2) = Ph). Depending on the equilibrium constant, the subsequent addition of (1)/(2) equiv of [RhCl(COD)](2) (COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) leads to either Ph(2)PH oxidative addition in the case of 3 or to the corresponding [RhCl(COD)(alpha-P,N)] complexes [RhCl(COD)(Ph(2)P-CH[o-C(6)H(4)Cl[Cr(CO)(3)]]-NHPh)] (5) and [RhCl(COD)(Ph(2)P-CH(o-C(6)H(4)Cl)-NHPh)] (5') in the cases of the aminophosphines 4 and 4'. The addition of the latter ligands, as racemic mixtures, to (1)/(4) equiv of [Rh(CO)(2)Cl](2) leads to the [RhCl(CO)(alpha-P,N)(2)] complexes [RhCO(Ph(2)P-CH[o-C(6)H(4)Cl[Cr(CO)(3)]]-NHPh)(2)Cl] (7) or [RhCO(Ph(2)P-CH(o-C(6)H(4)Cl)-NHPh)(2)Cl] (7') as mixtures of (R(C),S(C))/(S(C),R(C)) and (R(C),R(C))/(S(C),S(C)) diastereomers. The rhodium complexes 5 and 7' have been fully characterized by IR and (31)P NMR spectroscopies and X-ray crystallography. These compounds exhibit intramolecular Rh-Cl.H-N interactions in the solid state and in solution. The stability of the new rhodium complexes has been studied under different CO pressures. Under 1 atm of CO, 5 is converted to an unstable complex [RhCl(CO)(2)(alpha-P,N)], 6, which undergoes ligand redistribution leading to 7 plus an unidentified complex. This reaction is inhibited under higher CO or syngas pressure, as confirmed by the observation of the same catalytic activity in hydroformylation when styrene was added to a catalytic mixture that was either freshly prepared or left standing for 20 h under high CO pressure.  相似文献

The first series of Rh(I) distibine complexes with organometallic co-ligands is described, including the five-coordinate [Rh(cod)(distibine)Cl], the 16-electron planar cations [Rh(cod)(distibine)]BF4 and [Rh{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]BF4 and the five-coordinate [Rh(CO)(distibine)2][Rh(CO)2Cl2] (distibine=R2Sb(CH2)3SbR2, R=Ph or Me, and o-C6H4(CH2SbMe2)2). The corresponding Ir(I) species [Ir(cod)(distibine)]BF4 and [Ir{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]BF4 have also been prepared. The complexes have been characterised by 1H and 13C{1H} NMR and IR spectroscopy, electrospray mass spectrometry and microanalysis. The crystal structure of the anion exchanged [Rh(CO){Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]PF(6).3/4CH2Cl2 is also described. The methyl-substituted distibine complexes are less stable than the complexes of Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2, with C-Sb fission occurring in some of the complexes of the former. The salts [Rh(CO){Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]PF6 and [Rh{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]BF4 undergo oxidative addition with Br2 to give the known [RhBr2{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]+, while using HCl gives the same hydride complex from both precursors, which is tentatively assigned as [RhHCl2{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}]. An unexpected further Rh(III) product from this reaction, trans-[RhCl2{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}{PhClSb(CH2)3SbClPh}]Cl, was identified by a crystal structure analysis and represents the first structurally characterised example of a chlorostibine coordinated to a metal. [Rh{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]BF4 reacts with CO to give [Rh(CO){Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}2]BF4 initially, and upon further exposure this species undergoes further reversible carbonylation to give a cis-dicarbonyl species thought to be [Rh(CO)2{Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}{kappa1Sb-Ph2Sb(CH2)3SbPh2}]BF4 which converts back to the monocarbonyl complex when the CO atmosphere is replaced with N2.  相似文献
