Room temperature ultrasonic irradiation of neat mixtures of methyl sulfinates and primary or secondary amines (1.5 equiv) produced sulfinamides, which on m-CPBA oxidation (in dichloromethane) were converted into the corresponding sulfonamides. The two steps can be accomplished in one pot, in good overall yields, when using secondary amines, but primary amines give better sulfonamide yields when the peracid oxidation is effected on the purified sulfinamide. This constitutes a mild, efficient, and potentially scalable route to sulfonamides, which obviates the use of water sensitive, often lachrymatory sulfonyl chlorides and large reagent excesses.  相似文献

At low temperature, 1-alkoxy-1,3-dienes add to sulfur dioxide activated by a Lewis or protic acid generating zwitterionic intermediates that can be quenched by enoxysilanes. The resulting beta,gamma-unsaturated silyl sulfinates can be desilylated by 1:1 Pd(OAc)(2)/PPh(3) catalyst, liberating the corresponding beta,gamma-unsaturated sulfinic acids that undergo smooth and highly stereoselective retro-ene eliminations of sulfur dioxide. The method has been applied to generate enantiomerically pure polypropionate fragments.  相似文献

The synthesis and structural, photophysical, electrochemical, and electroluminescent properties of a novel class of trifunctional Pt(II) cyclometalated complexes are reported in which the hole-transporting triarylamine, electron-transporting oxadiazole, and electroluminescent metal components are integrated into a single molecule. These neutral metal chelates display good thermal stability (>250 degrees C under N2) and morphological stability. All of them exhibit intense ligand-centered fluorescence and phosphorescence in fluid solutions at room temperature, but the emission spectra become largely dominated by triplet emission bands in CH2Cl2 glass at 77 K. Substituents with different electronic properties were introduced into the bipolar cyclometalating ligands to fine-tune the absorption and emissive characteristics of the compounds, and the results were correlated with theoretical calculations using density functional theory. A comparison of the photophysics and electrochemistry of our multifunctional systems to those only derived from each of the constituent components was also made and discussed. These Pt complexes can be vacuum-sublimed and applied as emissive dopants for the fabrication of vapor-deposited electrophosphorescent organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs), which generally exhibit good device performance with efficiencies up to 3.6%, 11.0 cd A-1, and 5.8 lm W-1. While the electroluminescence energy resembles that recorded in fluid solutions for these Pt emitters, these monochromatic OLEDs can emit tunable colors by varying the aryl ring substituents and the level of doping. Saliently, single dopant white-light electroluminescence, triggered by the simultaneous fluorescence/phosphorescence emission of the metal complexes and a variation of applied driving voltages, has also been realized based on some of these multifunctional complexes with peak electrophosphorescence efficiencies of 6.8 cd A-1 and 2.6%.  相似文献

A variety of bis-allylic esters were prepared by vinylmetal addition to cycloalkenones followed by esterification either in situ or in a separate operation. For chiral cyclohexenones, the vinyl additions generally occurred with >10:1 diastereoselectivity. Although in some cases the bis-allylic esters proved to be sensitive to silica gel or other adsorbents, all of the esters examined could be isolated in acceptable purity. The Ireland-Claisen rearrangement of the bis-allylic esters occurred with complete regioselectivity via the exocyclic alkene. The alkene stereochemistry and the stereochemistry at C-2 and C-3 of the pentenoic acid products were consistent with a chairlike transition state in the rearrangement. Substituents at the carbons adjacent to the allylic carbinol carbon (i.e., C-2 or C-6 in cyclohexenone-derived substrates) directed the stereochemical course of the rearrangement. The rearrangements generally proceeded so as to place the larger of the C-2 or C-6 substituents in the pseudoequatorial position with respect to the chairlike transition state. For a bis-allylic ester bearing both a C-2-CH(3) and a C-6-OMEM substituent, the rearrangement product resulted from the nominally smaller OMEM substituent occupying a pseudoequatorial position with respect to the chairlike transition state.  相似文献

Polycarbonates and copolycarbonates based on BPSi and BPA were easily made using the standard interfacial technique. Molecular weight and NMR data indicate that up to 4 mol % of the BPSi decomposes during polymerization via a base-catalyzed rearrangement of BPSi to arylsiloxanes. Oxygen index studies show an increased flame resistance with increasing BPSi monomer content. DSC measurements show a decrease in glass transition with BPSi monomer concentration while TGA shows an increase in char residue with BPSi monomer content. In addition, TGA indicates no change in either thermal or thermooxidative stability with the relative BPSi/BPA concentrations. Outdoor weathering of BPSi PC and BPA PC films indicates that BPSi PC is ca. 5 times more weathering resistant than BPA PC. This latter result can be attributed to a combination of BPSi PC's lower UV absorptivity, higher water repellency, and lower likelihood for side chain photooxidation. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Conjugated block copolymers have gained increasing interests in recent years. Development of a novel method for facile synthesis of conjugated block copolymers with desired structures and functions is greatly desired. In this mini review, we summarized the recent advances in one-pot synthesis of conjugated block copolymers containing π-conjugated polythiophene and helical polyisocyanide segments by using a nickel(Ⅱ) complex as single catalyst. The sequential living polymerization of the two monomers proceeded in a controlled manner, affording expected block copolymers in high yields with controlled molecular weights(Mns) and narrow molecular weight distributions(Mw/Mns). By using this method, a family of block copolymers with expected structure and tunable compositions can be facilely prepared. Introducing functional groups onto the pendant, these block copolymers can exhibit interesting self-assembly property, tunable light emission and multi-responsiveness.  相似文献

We report herein the synthesis of various derivatives of isomannide and isosorbide. Alkylation on N-(diphenylmethylene)glycine tert-butyl ester show the new catalysts to be effective phase-transfer catalysts with moderately good enantioselectivity. This paper deals with the synthesis of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) (poly)diacyl peroxides with mean EWs ranging from 500 to 4000 g eq.−1 via H2O2 and base from the corresponding PFPE diacyl halides, their decomposition (thermal and hydrolytic) and the synthesis of the corresponding di-halides by the reaction with elemental halides. A great advantage of this novel synthesis over other synthetic approaches is the ease in obtaining polyperoxides containing up to at least two diacyl peroxide groups/chain. This property confers to these peroxides a greater thermal stability. The synthesis of PFPE diacyl peroxides and its dependence on contact times of reagents, solvent, reaction temperature and reagent concentrations will be presented and discussed. Data concerning the thermal and hydrolytic decomposition of these PFPE diacyl peroxides as well as the dependence of their homolytic decomposition kinetics on EW will also be presented and discussed. Interestingly, we have discovered that these PFPE (poly)diacyl peroxides could in turn be easily available precursors of the corresponding α-ω-iodides or bromides.  相似文献

Eighteen trinuclear NiII2LnIII complexes of 2,6-di(acetoacetyl)pyridine (H2L) (Ln=La-Lu except for Pm) were prepared by a "one-pot reaction" of H2L, Ni(NO3)2.6H2O, and Ln(NO3)3.nH2O in methanol. X-ray crystallographic studies indicate that two L2- ligands sandwich two NiII ions with the terminal 1,3-diketonate sites and one LnIII ion with the central 2,6-diacylpyridine site, forming the trinuclear [Ni2Ln(L)2] core of a linear NiLnNi structure. The terminal Ni assumes a six-coordinate geometry together with methanol or water molecules, and the central Ln assumes a 10-coordinate geometry together with two or three nitrate ions. The [Ni2Ln(L)2] core is essentially coplanar for large Ln ions (La, Ce, Pr, Nd) but shows a distortion with respect to the two L2- ligands for smaller Ln ions. Magnetic studies for the Ni2Ln complexes of diamagnetic LaIII and LuIII indicate an antiferromagnetic interaction between the terminal NiII ions. A magnetic analysis of the Ni2Gd complex based on the isotropic Heisenberg model indicates a ferromagnetic interaction between the adjacent NiII and GdIII ions and an antiferromagnetic interaction between the terminal NiII ions. The magnetic properties of other Ni2Ln complexes were studied on the basis of a numerical approach with the Ni2La complex and analogous Zn2Ln complexes, and they indicated that the NiII-LnIII interaction is weakly antiferromagnetic for Ln=Ce, Pr, and Nd and ferromagnetic for Ln=Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, and Er.  相似文献

This review details the current methods used to prepare vinyl triflates derived from 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and describes the reactivity of such functionalized vinyl triflates. α-Ketovinyl triflates can easily and stereoselectively be produced through three different ways. Enolization and triflation is the most common route, but direct triflation with triflic anhydride could also be used, each involving different mechanisms. Direct addition of triflic acid and related sulfonic acids to triple bond offers an alternative to the previous methods. With their peculiar set of functional groups, α-ketovinyl triflates can react in four different ways. The vinyl triflate part could be engaged in coupling reactions, while the carbonyl group as well as the enone motif could be subjected to nucleophilic additions. If a proton is available next to the triflate group, eliminations could occur under basic conditions. Upon addition, fragmentations could also be possible.  相似文献

A series of flexibly linked bis(pyridinium) salts with various counterions (Br?, PF6?, BF4? and OTf-) was designed and prepared starting from corresponding N-alkylated 4-pyridones precursors with mesogenic 3,4,5-tris(alkyloxy)benzyl moieties (alkyl = dodecyl or tetradecyl). These salts were investigated for their liquid crystalline properties by a combination of differential scanning calorimetry, polarising optical microscopy and temperature-dependent powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). Their thermal stability was checked by thermogravimetric analysis. All bis(pyridinium) salts, except the triflate salt with shorter terminal carbon chain, display an enantiotropic liquid crystalline behaviour with a hexagonal columnar (Colh) phase assigned on the basis of its characteristic texture and XRD studies. It was found that these luminescent bis(pyridinium) salts show weak emission in dichloromethane solutions at room temperature and a pronounced red-shifted emission in solid state. The emission properties of these bis(pyridinium) salts do not depend significantly on the nature of counterion employed.  相似文献

Two new usymmetric bidentate Schiff-base ligands (2-pyridyl-2-furylmethyl)imine (L1) and (2-pyridyl-phenylmethyl)imine (L2) were prepared. The crystal structures of two chloro-bridged complexes [Cu2(μ-Cl)2(L1)2Cl2] (1) and [Mn (μ-Cl)2(L2)] (2) derived from the each ligand have been confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The complexes were characterized by IR, elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods. In complex 1, the two copper atoms are five-coordinate involving a square-pyramidal geometry having a N2Cl3 donor set with the two chlorine atoms bridging the two copper atoms. In complex 2, the manganese atoms are both six-coordinate. In contrast to 1, all chlorine atoms in 2 are bridging chlorides and link adjacent manganese atoms together forming 1-D infinite chains.  相似文献

New halogen-substituted salicylhydroximate copper(II) metallacrowns were synthesized from Cu(OAc)2 and the corresponding salicylhydroxamic acids. Their molecular structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds obtained represent the first members of the metallacrown family that can be used as components of active initiators for the photopolymerization of oligo-carbonate dimethacrylate by visible light.  相似文献

A new Schiff base, [H(4)pydmedpt](2+)·2Cl(-), derived from one of the forms of vitamin B(6) has been synthesized by condensation of pyridoxal hydrochloride with N,N-bis[3-aminopropyl]-methylamine (medpt) and characterized by analytical and spectroscopic methods. The molecular structure is calculated by density functional theory (DFT) procedures, and the donor properties of each individual donor atom are evaluated by calculation of the Fukui function. One pot reaction of pyridoxal and medpt with vanadyl acetylacetonate yields the brown complex [V(IV)O(H(2)pydmedpt)](2+)·2Cl(-)1, which upon recrystallization from water crystallizes as [V(IV)O(pydmedpt)]·5H(2)O 2. The compounds are characterized by analytical and spectroscopic methods, 2 being also characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It displays a slightly distorted octahedral geometry around the vanadium atom involving the coordination of N(amine), two N(imine), and O(phenolato) donors of the ligand. One of the phenolato oxygen donors is positioned trans to the terminal O-oxido atom with relatively short V-O(phenolate) {2.041(3) ?} and long V-O(oxido) {1.625(4) ?} bond distances when compared to other known compounds. The two different pK(a) values (6.0 and 7.9) obtained for 1 are due to protonation of the pyridine ring nitrogen atoms having different basic characters, this being also substantiated by theoretical calculation of the proton affinity of the O- and N- atoms of the molecule. The spin Hamiltonian parameters are obtained from the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra, but the A(z) value (ca. 155 × 10(-4) cm(-1)) is lower than expected by applying the additivity rule for the present set of equatorial donor atoms (ca. 162-163 × 10(-4) cm(-1)), this being attributed to the strong trans V-O(phenolate) bond. The UV-vis transitions and EPR spectral parameters are calculated by DFT procedures, and both the calculated electronic transitions and the hyperfine coupling constants agree well with those experimentally observed. The inhibitory effect of 1 on FFA release and % glucose uptake determined with isolated rat adipocyte cells gave IC(50) and EC(50) values lower than for V(IV)OSO(4) and of the same order of magnitude of other reported insulin enhancing vanadium compounds.  相似文献

Pd(II)-N-heterocyclic carbene complexes derived from proline have been successfully synthesized in good yields and their structures have been characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. It was found that the substituents on the N-atom of the pyrrolidine skeleton dramatically affect on the coordination pattern of the palladium complexes. In a word, when an electron-rich group as benzyl group was attached on the N-atom, both of the N-atom and NHC were coordinated to the Pd(II) center; while when an electron-poor group as Ts group was attached, a dimeric mono-coordinated Pd(II)-NHC was obtained exclusively.  相似文献
