Upper bounds for signless Laplacian Z-spectral radius of uniform hypergraphs

Let ■ be a k-uniform hypergraph on n vertices with degree sequence △= d1≥…≥ dn =δ. In this paper, in terms of degree di , we give some upper bounds for the Z-spectral radius of the signless Laplacian tensor (Q(■)) of ■. Some examples are given to show the efficiency of these bounds.     

Extremum of a time-inhomogeneous branching random walk

Consider a time-inhomogeneous branching random walk, generated by the point process L_n which composed by two independent parts: ‘branching’offspring X_n with the mean \mathrm{1}+{B(\mathrm{1}+n)}^{-\beta } for \beta \in (\mathrm{0},\mathrm{1}) and ‘displacement’ {{\displaystyle \xi }}_n with a drift {A(\mathrm{1}+n)}^{-\mathrm{2}\alpha } for \alpha \in (\mathrm{0},\mathrm{1}/\mathrm{2}), where the ‘branching’ process is supercritical for B>0 but ‘asymptotically critical’ and the drift of the ‘displacement’ {{\displaystyle \xi }}_n is strictly positive or negative for \left|A\right|\rangle \mathrm{0} but ‘asymptotically’ goes to zero as time goes to infinity. We find that the limit behavior of the minimal (or maximal) position of the branching random walk is sensitive to the ‘asymptotical’ parameter \beta and \alpha.     

Derivative estimates of averaging opera tors and extension

We study the derivative operator of the generalized spherical mean S^γt. By considering a more general multiplier m^Ωγ,b=Vn-2/2+γ(|ξ|)|ξ|^bΩ(ξ') and finding the smallest γ such that m^Ωγ,b is an Hp multiplier, we obtain the optimal range of exponents (γ,β,p)to ensure the H^p(R^n) boundedness of a^βS^γ1f(x). As an application, we obtain the derivative estimates for the solution for the Cauchy problem of the wave equation on H^p(R^n) spaces.     

Matchings extend to Hamiltonian cycles in hypercubes with faulty edges

We consider the problem of existence of a Hamiltonian cycle containing a matching and avoiding some edges in an n-cube {{\displaystyle Q}}_n, and obtain the following results. Let n\ge \mathrm{3},\hspace{0.17em}M\subset E({{\displaystyle Q}}_n), and F\subset E({{\displaystyle Q}}_n)\backslash M with \mathrm{1}\le \left|F\right|\le \mathrm{2}n-\mathrm{4}-\left|M\right|. If M is a matching and every vertex is incident with at least two edges in the graph {{\displaystyle Q}}_n-F, then all edges of M lie on a Hamiltonian cycle in {{\displaystyle Q}}_n-F. Moreover, if \left|M\right|=\mathrm{1} or \left|M\right|=\mathrm{2}, then the upper bound of number of faulty edges tolerated is sharp. Our results generalize the well-known result for \left|M\right|=\mathrm{1}.     

Convergence of complex martingale for a branching random walk in an independent and identically distributed environment

We consider anR^d-valued discrete time branching random walk in an independent and identically distributed environment indexed by time n∈N.Let W_n(z)(z∈C^d)be the natural complex martingale of the process.We show necessary and sufficient conditions for the L^α-convergence of W_n(z)forα>1,as well as its uniform convergence region.     

Functional inequalities for time-changed symmetric α-stable processes

We establish sharp functional inequalities for time-changed symmetric \alpha-stable processes on {\mathrm{ℝ}}^d with d\ge \mathrm{1} and \alpha \in (\mathrm{0},\mathrm{2}), which yield explicit criteria for the compactness of the associated semigroups. Furthermore, when the time change is defined via the special function W(x)={(\mathrm{1}+\left|x\right|)}^{\beta } with \beta >\alpha we obtain optimal Nash-type inequalities, which in turn give us optimal upper bounds for the density function of the associated semigroups.     

Oscillatory hyper Hilbert transforms along variable curves

For n = 2 or 3 and x\in {ℝ}^n, we study the oscillatory hyper Hilbert transform{{\displaystyle T}}_{\alpha ,\beta }f(x)={{\displaystyle \int }}_{ℝ}f(x-\Gamma (t,x)){\mathrm{e}}^{{-i\left|t\right|}^{-\beta }}{\left|t\right|}^{-\mathrm{1}-\alpha }\mathrm{d}talong an appropriate variable curve \mathrm{\Gamma }(t,x) in {ℝ}^n (namely, \mathrm{\Gamma }(t,x) is a curve in {ℝ}^n for each fixed x), where \alpha >\beta >\mathrm{0}. We obtain some L^p boundedness theorems of {{\displaystyle T}}_{\alpha ,\beta }, under some suitable conditions on \alphaand \beta. These results are extensions of some earlier theorems. However, {{\displaystyle T}}_{\alpha ,\beta }f(x) is not a convolution in general. Thus, we only can partially employ the Plancherel theorem, and we mainly use the orthogonality principle to prove our main theorems.     

Super-biderivations on twisted N = 1 Schrödinger-Neveu-Schwarz algebra

Let \widetilde{tsns} denote the twisted N = 1 Schrodinger-Neveu-Schwarz algebra over the complex field ℂ. In this paper, we determine the superskewsymmetric super-biderivations of \widetilde{tsns}. Furthermore, we prove that every super-skewsymmetric super-biderivation of \widetilde{tsns} is inner.     

Proper resolutions and Gorensteinness in extriangulated categories

Let(C,E,s)be an extriangulated category with a proper classξof E-triangles,and W an additive full subcategory of(C,E,s).We provide a method for constructing a proper W(ξ)-resolution(resp.,coproper W(ξ)-coresolution)of one term in an E-triangle inξfrom that of the other two terms.By using this way,we establish the stability of the Gorenstein category GW(ξ)in extriangulated categories.These results generalize the work of Z.Y.Huang[J.Algebra,2013,393:142–169]and X.Y.Yang and Z.C.Wang[Rocky Mountain J.Math.,2017,47:1013–1053],but the proof is not too far from their case.Finally,we give some applications about our main results.     

The second moment of GL(3) × GL(2) L- functions at special points from GL(3) forms

For a fixed even SL(\mathrm{2},\mathbb{Z}) Hecke{Maass form f, we get an estimate for the second moment of L(s,{{\displaystyle \phi }}_j\times f) at special points, where {{\displaystyle \phi }}_j runs over an orthogonal basis of Hecke{Maass cusp forms for {{\displaystyle \mathrm{S}\mathrm{L}}}_{\mathrm{3}}(\mathbb{Z}).     

Dynamical behaviors for generalized pendulum type equations with p-Laplacian

We consider a pendulum type equation with p-Laplacian {({\varphi }_p(x^{\prime }))}^{\prime }+{G_x}^{\prime }(t,x)=p(t), where {{\displaystyle \varphi }}_p(u)={\left|u\right|}^{p-\mathrm{2}}u,p>\mathrm{1},G(t,x) and p(t) are 1-periodic about every variable. The solutions of this equation present two interesting behaviors. On the one hand, by applying Moser's twist theorem, we find infinitely many invariant tori whenever {\displaystyle {\int }_{\mathrm{0}}^{\mathrm{1}}p(t)}\mathrm{d}t=\mathrm{0}, which yields the bounded-ness of all solutions and the existence of quasi-periodic solutions starting at t = 0 on the invariant tori. On the other hand, if p(t) = 0 and {G_x}^{\prime }(t,x) has some specific forms, we find a full symbolic dynamical system made by solutions which oscillate between any two different trivial solutions of the equation. Such chaotic solutions stay close to the trivial solutions in some fixed intervals, according to any prescribed coin-tossing sequence.     

Boundedness of some integral operators and commutators on homogeneous Herz spaces with three variable exponents

We obtain the boundedness of some integral operators and commutators on homogeneous Herz spaces with three variable exponents K^˙α(?)_p(?,q(?)),such as some sublinear operators,the fractional integral and its commutator.     

Oscillation and variation for Riesz transform in setting of Bessel operators on H1 and BMO

Let \lambda >\mathrm{0} and let the Bessel operator \mathrm{\Delta }\lambda ：=-{\displaystyle \frac{{\mathrm{d}}^{\mathrm{2}}}{{\mathrm{d}x}^{\mathrm{2}}}}-{\displaystyle \frac{\mathrm{2}\lambda }{x}}{\displaystyle \frac{\mathrm{d}}{\mathrm{d}x}} defined on {{\displaystyle ℝ}}_{+}:=(\mathrm{0},\infty ). We show that the oscillation and \rho-variation operators of the Riesz transform {{\displaystyle R}}_{{\mathrm{\Delta }}_{\lambda }} associated with {\mathrm{\Delta }}_{\lambda } are bounded on BMO({{\displaystyle ℝ}}_{+},{{\displaystyle dm}}_{\lambda }), where \rho >\mathrm{2} and {{\displaystyle \mathrm{d}m}}_{\lambda }=x^{\mathrm{2}\lambda }\mathrm{d}x. Moreover, we construct a {{\displaystyle (\mathrm{1},\infty )}}_{{\mathrm{\Delta }}_{\lambda }}-atom as a counterexample to show that the oscillation and \rho-variation operators of {{\displaystyle R}}_{{\mathrm{\Delta }}_{\lambda }} are not bounded from H^{\mathrm{1}}({ℝ}^{+},{{\displaystyle \mathrm{d}m}}_{\lambda }) to L^{\mathrm{1}}({ℝ}^{+},{{\displaystyle \mathrm{d}m}}_{\lambda }). Finally, we prove that the oscillation and the {{\displaystyle (\mathrm{1},\infty )}}_{{\mathrm{\Delta }}_{\lambda }}-variation operators for the smooth truncations associated with Bessel operators {{\displaystyle \tilde{R}}}_{{\mathrm{\Delta }}_{\lambda }} are bounded from H^{\mathrm{1}}({ℝ}^{+},{{\displaystyle \mathrm{d}m}}_{\lambda }) to L^{\mathrm{1}}({ℝ}^{+},{{\displaystyle \mathrm{d}m}}_{\lambda }).     

Fixed points of smoothing transformation in random environment

At each time n\in \mathbb{N},\mathrm{l}\mathrm{e}\mathrm{t}{\overline{Y}}^{(n)}(\xi )=(y_1^{(n)}(\xi ),y_2^{(n)}(\xi ),\cdots ) be a random sequence of non-negative numbers that are ultimately zero in a random environment\xi \text{=}（{\xi }_n{）}_{n\in \mathbb{N}}. The existence and uniqueness of the nonnegative fixed points of the associated smoothing transformation in random environment are considered. These fixed points are solutions to the distributional equation for a.e.\xi ,Z(\xi )\stackrel{\text{d}}{=}{\sum }_{i\in \mathbb{N}+}{y}_i^{(\mathrm{0})}(\xi )Z_i^{(\mathrm{1})}(\xi ),where ｛Z_i^{(\mathrm{1})}:i\in {\mathbb{N}}_{+}｝ are random variables in random environment which satisfy that for any environment\xi; under P_{\xi }; ｛Z_i^{(\mathrm{1})}:i\in {\mathbb{N}}_{+}｝are independent of each other and {\bar{Y}}^{(\mathrm{0})}(\xi ), and have the same conditional distribution P_{\xi }(Z_i^{(1)}(\xi )\in \cdot )=P_{T\xi }(Z(T\xi )\in \cdot ) where T is the shift operator. This extends the classical results of J. D. Biggins [J. Appl. Probab., 1977, 14: 25-37] to the random environment case. As an application, the martingale convergence of the branching random walk in random environment is given as well.     

Spectral gap of Boltzmann measures on unit circle

We give a two sided estimate on the spectral gap for the Boltzmann measures μ_h on the circle. We prove that the spectral gap is greater than 1 for any h\in ℝ and the spectral gap tends to the positive infinity as h\to \infty with speed \left|h\right|.     

Perfect 3-colorings on 6-regular graphs of order 9

The concept of a perfect coloring, introduced by P. Delsarte, generalizes the concept of completely regular code. We study the perfect 3-colorings (also known as the equitable partitions into three parts) on 6-regular graphs of order 9. A perfect n-colorings of a graph is a partition of its vertex set. It splits vertices into n parts A1, A2,...,An such that for all i,j∈{1,2,...,n}, each vertex of Ai is adjacent to aij vertices of Aj. The matrix A =(aij)n×n is called quotient matrix or parameter matrix. In this article, we start by giving an algorithm to find all different types of 6-regular graphs of order 9. Then, we classify all the realizable parameter matrices of perfect 3-colorings on 6-regular graphs of order 9.     

Lower deviations for supercritical branching processes with immigration

For a supercritical branching processes with immigration \{{{\displaystyle Z}}_n\}; it is known that under suitable conditions on the offspring and immigration distributions, Z_n/mⁿ converges almost surely to a finite and strictly positive limit, where m is the offspring mean. We are interested in the limiting properties of P({{\displaystyle Z}}_n={{\displaystyle k}}_n) with {{\displaystyle k}}_n=o(m^n) as n\to \infty. We give asymptotic behavior of such lower deviation probabilities in both Schröder and Böttcher cases, unifying and extending the previous results for Galton-Watson processes in literature.
