We present a general approach to get the anomalous weak charged current of leptons and quarks in a substructure mode1,in which quarks, leptons and W-bosons are composed of preons (fermions and scalar bosons). We have shown that the (V+A) current can be determined by the structure of leptons and quarks and the anomalous weak current can be very small. In particular, it can approach zero, if the wave function of leptons (or quarks) has aspinor structure (I-P/mf)F.  相似文献

We have investigated within Fermi liquid theory the dependence of Coulomb drag current in a passive quantum wire on the applied voltage V across an active wire and on the temperature T for any values of eV/k(B)T. We assume that the bottoms of the 1D minibands in both wires almost coincide with the Fermi level. We conclude that: (1) within a certain temperature interval the drag current can be a descending function of the temperature T; (2) the experimentally observed temperature dependence T(-0.77) of the drag current can be interpreted within the framework of Fermi liquid theory; (3) at relatively high applied voltages the drag current saturates as a function of the applied voltage; and (4) the screening of the electron potential by metallic gate electrodes can be of importance.  相似文献

We numerically study ultra fast resonant spin torque (ST) magnetization reversal in magnetic tunneling junctions (MTJ) driven by current pulses having a direct current (DC) and a resonant alternating current (AC) component. The precessional ST dynamics of the single domain MTJ free layer cell are modeled in the macro spin approximation. The energy efficiency, reversal time, and reversal reliability are investigated under variation of pulse parameters like direct and AC current amplitude, AC frequency and AC phase. We find a range of AC and direct current amplitudes where robust resonant ST reversal is obtained with faster switching time and reduced energy consumption per pulse compared to purely direct current ST reversal. However, for a certain range of AC and direct current amplitudes a strong dependence of the reversal properties on AC frequency and phase is found. Such regions of unreliable reversal must be avoided for ST memory applications.  相似文献

We have observed a unique feature of the thermally stimulated depolarization (TSD) current in polypropylene (PP) films polarized in strong electric fields (up to 1–2 MV/cm). The direction of the TSD current is the same as the direction of the charging (polarizing) current, and the shape of the TSD current curve is much different from the standard curve. We show by computer model that these features can be explained by charge carrier injection in the film by charging from both electrodes. Both the charging curve shape and TSD current direction are explained by a model in which injected carriers form charged regions inside the film at a distance from the electrodes of one-fourth the thickness of the dielectric. The previously studied Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov (FFLO) state is stabilized by a magnetic field via the Zeeman coupling in spin-singlet superconductors. Here we suggest a novel route to achieve nonzero center-of-mass momentum pairing states in superconductors with Fermi surface nesting. We investigate two-dimensional superconductors under a uniform external current, proportional to a finite pair momentum of q(e). We find that an FFLO state with a spontaneous pair momentum of q(s) is stabilized above a certain critical current that depends on the direction of the external current. A finite q(s) arises in order to make the total pair-momentum of q(t)(=q(s) + q(e)) perpendicular to the nesting vector, which is independent of spin states of Cooper pairs. We also discuss experimental signatures of the FFLO state.  相似文献

We propose and analyze a new scheme of realizing both spin filtering and spin pumping by using ac-driven double quantum dots in the Coulomb blockade regime. By calculating the current through the system in the sequential tunneling regime, we demonstrate that the spin polarization of the current can be controlled by tuning the parameters (amplitude and frequency) of the ac field. We also discuss spin relaxation and decoherence effects in the pumped current.  相似文献

We investigate mesoscopic transport through a system that consists of a central quantum dot (QD) and two single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCN) leads in the presence of a rotating magnetic field. The spin-flip effect is induced by the rotating magnetic field, and the tunnelling current is sensitively related to the spin-flip effect. We present the calculations of charge and spin current components to show the intimate relations to the SWCN leads. Zeeman effect is important when the applied magnetic field is strong enough. The current characteristics are quite different when the source-drain bias is zero (eV=0) and nonzero (eV≠0). The asymmetric peak and valley of spin current versus gate voltage exhibit Fano resonance. Multi-resonant peaks of spin current versus photon energy ħω reflect the structure of CN quantum wires, as well as the resonant photon absorption and emission effect. The matching-mismatching of channels in the CN leads and QD results in novel spin current structure by tuning the frequency.  相似文献

We extend the analysis of the effects of electromagnetic (EM) fields on mesoscopic conductors to include the effects of field quantization, motivated by recent experiments on circuit QED. We show that in general there is a photovoltaic (PV) current induced by quantized cavity modes at zero bias across the conductor. This current depends on the average photon occupation number and vanishes identically when it is equal to the average number of thermal electron-hole pairs. We analyze in detail the case of a chaotic quantum dot at temperature Te in contact with a thermal EM field at temperature Tf, calculating the rms size of the PV current as a function of the temperature difference, finding an effect approximately pA.  相似文献

We describe complex variations in resistance of a Co/Cu multilayer, generated by injection of an adjustable dc current density ( approximately 10(9) A/cm(2)) via a point contact. We attribute these variations to coupling of current-induced spin waves to lattice vibrations, leading especially to current-driven resonant excitations of phonons. We propose a simple model to explain the observed structured behavior of the variations as a function of the applied current and magnetic field.  相似文献

We calculate the dc Josephson current for two superconductor/ferromagnet (S/F) bilayers separated by a thin insulating film. It is demonstrated that the critical Josephson current I(c) in the junction strongly depends on the relative orientation of the effective exchange field h of the bilayers. We found that in the case of an antiparallel orientation I(c) increases at low temperatures with increasing h and at zero temperature has a singularity when h equals the superconducting gap Delta. This striking behavior contrasts with the suppression of the critical current by the magnetic moments aligned in parallel and is an interesting new effect of the interplay between superconductors and ferromagnets.  相似文献

We measure current fluctuations of mesoscopic devices in the quantum regime, when the frequency is of the order of or higher than the applied voltage or temperature. Detection is designed to probe separately the absorption and emission contributions of current fluctuations, i.e. the positive and negative frequencies of the Fourier transformed nonsymmetrized noise correlator. It relies on measuring the quasiparticles photon assisted tunneling current across a superconductor-insulator-superconductor junction (the detector junction) caused by the excess current fluctuations generated by quasiparticles tunneling across a Josephson junction (the source junction). We demonstrate unambiguously that the negative and positive frequency parts of the nonsymmetrized noise correlator are separately detected and that the excess current fluctuations of a voltage biased Josephson junction present a strong asymmetry between emission and absorption.  相似文献

We propose an electrical scheme for the generation of a pure spin current without a charge current in a two-terminal device, which consists of a scattering region of a two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) with Rashba (R) and/or Dresselhaus (S) spin-orbit interaction (SOI) and two normal leads. The SOI is modulated by a time-dependent gate voltage to pump a spin current. Based on a tight-binding model and the Keldysh Green’s function technique, we obtain the analytical expression of the spin current. It is shown that a pure spin current can be pumped out, and its magnitude could be modulated by device parameters such as the oscillating frequency of the SOI, as well as the SOI strength. Moreover, the spin polarisation direction of the spin current could also be tuned by the strength ratio between RSOI and DSOI. Our proposal provides not only a fully electrical means to generate a pure spin current but also a way to control the spin polarisation direction of the generated spin current.  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate the occurrence of negative absolute resistance (NAR) up to about -1 Omega in response to an externally applied dc current for a shunted Nb-Al/AlO_{x}-Nb Josephson junction, exposed to a microwave current at frequencies in the GHz range. The realization (or not) of NAR depends crucially on the amplitude of the applied microwave current. Theoretically, the system is described by means of the resistively and capacitively shunted junction model in terms of a moderately damped, classical Brownian particle dynamics in a one-dimensional potential. We find excellent agreement of the experimental results with numerical simulations of the model.  相似文献

We study current-driven magnetization switching in nanofabricated Ni(84)Fe(16)/Cu/Ni(84)Fe16 trilayers at 295 and 4.2 K. The shape of the hysteretic switching diagram at low magnetic field changes with temperature. The reversible behavior at higher fields involves two phenomena, a threshold current for magnetic excitations closely correlated with the switching current, and a peak in differential resistance characterized by telegraph noise, with an average period that decreases exponentially with current and shifts with temperature. We interpret both static and dynamic results at 295 and 4.2 K in terms of thermal activation over a potential barrier, with a current-dependent effective magnetic temperature.  相似文献

We study the appearance of directed energy current in homogeneous spatially extended systems coupled to a heat bath in the presence of an external ac field E(t). The systems are described by nonlinear field equations. By making use of a symmetry analysis, we predict the right choice of E(t) and obtain directed energy transport for systems with a nonzero topological charge Q. We demonstrate that the symmetry properties of motion of topological solitons (kinks and antikinks) are equivalent to the ones for the energy current. Numerical simulations confirm the predictions of the symmetry analysis and, moreover, show that the directed energy current drastically increases as the dissipation parameter alpha reduces.  相似文献

We investigate the equilibrium property of a mesoscopic ring with a spin-orbit interaction. It is well known that, for a normal mesoscopic ring threaded by a magnetic flux, the electron acquires a Berry phase that induces the persistent (charge) current. Similarly, the spin of an electron acquires a spin Berry phase traversing a ring with a spin-orbit interaction. It is this spin Berry phase that induces a persistent spin current. To demonstrate its existence, we calculate the persistent spin current without an accompanying charge current in the normal region in a hybrid mesoscopic ring. We point out that this persistent spin current describes the real spin motion and can be observed experimentally.  相似文献

We study the spin polarized currents generation in a magnetic (ferromagnetic/ferromagnetic) tunnel junction by means of adiabatic quantum pumping. Using a scattering matrix approach, it is shown that a pure spin current can be pumped from one ferromagnetic lead into the adjacent one by adiabatic modulation of the magnetization and the height of the barrier at the interface in absence of external bias voltage. We numerically study the characteristic features of the pure spin current and discuss its behavior for realistic values of the parameters. We show that the generated pure spin current is robust with respect to the variation of the magnetization strength, a very important feature for a realistic device, and that the proposed device can operate close to the optimal pumping regime. An experimental realization of a pure spin current injector is also discussed.  相似文献

文章作者研究了存在自旋轨道耦合的介观小环的平衡态性质.此前人们已经知道,在有磁通穿过的介观小环中,绕环运动的电子会产生一附加的Berry相位而导致持续电流;同样地,在仅有自旋轨道耦合的体系中,电子绕环运动也应当会产生附加的自旋Berry相位,进而驱动持续自旋流.文章作者通过对一个有正常区和自旋轨道耦合区的复合小环的计算,结果表明,无电流伴随的纯持续自旋流的确存在.文章作者指出,这持续自旋流描述真实的自旋运动,并且它能被实验观测.  相似文献
