把相干态和任意粒子数态作为分束器的输入态,通过条件测量可以得到被剪切了的输出态,并研究了这些剪切了的输出态的性质.结果显示,当在某一输出端测量到零个光子时,在另一输出端得到的剪切了的输出态呈现较强的压缩和亚泊松分布等非经典效应,并且这种非经典效应受输入粒子数态的粒子数的影响,即输入粒子数态的粒子数较大时其非经典性相对较强.当在其中一个输出端测量到m(m大于零)个光子时,条件测量后的各输出态在光场性质上表现类似,但也都呈现出明显的压缩和亚泊松分布等非经典效应,尤其值得注意的是当输入的是单粒子数态时,条件测量后的输出态中与测量相对应的粒子数态被剪去. 相似文献

通过分析光学分束器对压缩真空态光场的作用,发现如果分束器的输入光是两束具有同样振幅和相位的单模压缩真空态光场,则输出光为双模压缩真空态光场;若分束器的输入光是两束具有同样振幅但有π相位差的单模压缩真空态光场,则输出光仍为两束单模压缩真空态光场.对于双模压缩真空态光场,每个模中容纳的光子数可以是基数或偶数.而对于单模压缩真空态光场,每个模中只能包含偶数个光子.根据这些结果,提出了一个纠缠转移的方案.在这个方案中,两个纠缠压缩真空态光场被用作量子信道,通过利用光学分束器作用和光子数探测的方法,并在经典通讯的帮助下,实现了三个通讯伙伴之间的纠缠转移. 相似文献

利用线性光学元器件对光场量子态进行操纵,可以实现远程的量子纠缠调控和量子通讯.通过分析光学分束器对相干态光场的作用,发现当初始光场态是两个两部分纠缠态的直乘时,让其中的两模通过光学分束器作用后再对其进行光子计数,另外两模将会塌缩到新的纠缠态.基于这个特点,提出了一个实现部分纠缠相干态纠缠浓缩的方案.在这个方案中,两个部分纠缠相干态被用来作为量子信道,通过光学分束器作用后对光场进行光子数探测时,如果测量到光场的两模分别处于奇光子数态和零光子数态,则光场另外的两模将塌缩到最大纠缠态,从而完成纠缠浓缩的过程.计算结果表明,对于纠缠相干态,无论其初始的纠缠是多么微弱,利用这种方法总有一定的几率可以从中提纯出最大纠缠态. 相似文献

利用有序算符乘积内的积分技术(IWOP),建立了一种称之为相干纠缠态的两粒子体系的新表象,研究了这种新表象的性质,从理论上探讨了这种相干纠缠态的产生方法.结果表明:本文建立的这种p1-p2与a1+a2的共同本征态|p,β,既具有相干态的特性,又体现了纠缠态的特征,具有超完备性,完全可以作为一个表象使用. 物理上可以用光分束器来实现|p,β>,让分束器的两个输入端分别输入理想单模压缩态|p=0>2=exp[1-2a+22]|0>2和真空态|0>1,再经过对激光场一定的调制作用即可得到|p,β>态. 相似文献

利用纠缠态η〉表象下的维格纳算符,重构了奇偶对相干态的维格纳函数.根据维格纳函数在相空间中随变量ρ和γ的变化规律,讨论了奇偶对相干态的非经典性质和量子干涉效应.研究发现,奇偶对相干态总呈现非经典性质,并且当q取奇数时,奇偶对相干态更容易出现非经典性质.奇偶对相干态的量子干涉效应的显著程度与q取值有关,但对于q的同一取值,奇对相干态的量子干涉效应更为显著.利用纠缠态η〉表象下的维格纳算符Δ1,2(ρ,γ)和纠缠态η,τ1,τ2〉的投影算符之间满足的拉东变换,获得了奇偶对相干态的量子层析图函数. 相似文献

The effect of two quantum state engineering processes that can be used to burn a hole at vacuum in the photon number distribution of quantum states of radiation field is compared using various witnesses of lower- and higher-order nonclassicality as well as a measure of nonclassicality. Specifically, the modification in nonclassical properties due to vacuum state filtration and a single photon addition on an even coherent state, binomial state, and Kerr state are investigated using the criteria of lower- and higher-order antibunching, squeezing, and sub-Poissonian photon statistics. Further, the amount of nonclassicality present in these engineered quantum states having enormous applications in continuous variable quantum communication is quantified and analyzed by using an linear entropy-based entanglement potential. It is observed that all the quantum states studied here are highly nonclassical, and the hole-burning processes can introduce/enhance nonclassical features. However, it is not true in general. A hole at vacuum implies a maximally nonclassical state (as far as Lee's nonclassical depth is concerned), but a particular process of hole burning at vacuum does not ensure the existence of any particular nonclassical feature. Specifically, lower- and higher-order squeezing are not observed for photon-added and vacuum filtered even coherent states. 相似文献

Role of quantum interference in the origin of higher-order nonclassical characteristics of radiation field has been probed vis-à-vis a discrete and a continuous superposition of coherent states. Specifically, the possibilities of observing higher-order nonclassical properties (e.g., higher-order antibunching (HOA), higher-order sub-Poissonian photon statistics (HOSPS), higher-order squeezing (HOS) of Hong-Mandel type and Hillery type) have been investigated using a shifted symmetric cat state that reduces to Yurke-Stoler, even and odd coherent states at various limits. This shifted symmetric cat state which can be viewed as a discrete superposition of coherent states is found to show HOA and HOSPS. Similarly, higher-order nonclassical properties of a one-dimensional continuous superposition of coherent states is also studied here. The investigation has revealed the existence of HOS and HOSPS in the one-dimensional continuous superposition of coherent states studied here. Effect of non-Gaussianity inducing operations (e.g., photon addition and addition followed by subtraction) on these superposition states have also been investigated. Finally, some comparisons have been made between the higher-order nonclassical properties of discrete and continuous superposition of coherent states. 相似文献

We derive analytical expressions for the single mode quantum field state at the individual output ports of a beam splitter when a single-photon Fock state and a coherent state are incident on the input ports. The output states turn out to be a statistical mixture between a displaced Fock state and a coherent state. Consequently we are able to find an analytical expression for the corresponding Wigner function. Because of the generality of our calculations the obtained results are valid for all passive and lossless optical four port devices. We show further how the results can be adapted to the case of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer. In addition we consider the case for which the single-photon Fock state is replaced with a general input state: a coherent input state displaces each general quantum state at the output port of a beam splitter with the displacement parameter being the amplitude of the coherent state. 相似文献

Preparing quantum vortex states with odd Schrdinger cat states through a coupled waveguide system

A scheme is proposed for preparing a quantum vortex state with a coupled waveguide, in which a single-mode odd cat state with weak intensity and a single-mode coherent state are inserted in the input ports, respectively. The analytical wavefunction of the resulting state in the quadrature space is derived, and the vortex structure of the output state is analyzed. It is found that the obtained states, which may carry a vortex with topological charge index one, are entangled and nonclassical, depending only on the scaled propagation time and the weak intensity of the input odd cat state instead of the displacement parameter of the input coherent state. This paper discusses some statistical properties of the superposition of two coherent states with a vacuum state, such as sub-Poissonian photon statistics and negativity of the Wigner function. Phase probability distribution and phase variance are calculated. Special cases of the constructed superposition states are presented. The results show that depending on the vacuum state coefficient γ and the coherent state coefficient α, it can generate a variety of nonclassical states. 相似文献

In this paper, by making use of the nonlinear coherent states approach, the generalized photon added and subtracted f-deformed displaced Fock states are introduced. In other words, a natural link between photon added and subtracted displaced Fock states and nonlinear coherent states associated with nonlinear oscillator algebra is obtained. It is found that various kinds of nonclassical states can be generated by adopting appropriately controlling parameters in both linear and nonlinear regimes. Moreover, examining some of the most nonclassical properties such as Mandel's Q parameter, different types of squeezing, namely, quadrature, amplitude–squared and phase entropic squeezing, and Vogel's characteristic function, the nonclassicality features of the considered quantum states of interest are studied. Furthermore, to obtain the degree of quantum coherence, the relative entropy of coherence is investigated. Indeed, the nonclassicality aspects of the states obtained have been numerically studied to understand the roles of deformation functions, photons added and subtracted, and photon number occupied in the Fock state on physical properties. It is demonstrated that the depth and the domain of the nonclassicality features of the system can properly be controlled by selecting the suitable parameters. 相似文献
