Ionic liquids based on tetraalkylphosphonium salts combined with different anions (decanoate and dodecylsulfonate) have been used as intercalating agents of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) by ion exchange. The synthesized phosphonium-treated LDHs display a dramatically improved thermal degradation and a significant increase in the interlayer distance as confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD), respectively. To highlight the effect of thermostable ionic liquids, a very low amount of LDHs has been introduced within a polylactide (PLA) matrix and PLA/LDHs nanocomposites have been processed in melt by twin-screw extrusion. Then, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis has been used to investigate the influence of ILs on the different morphologies of these nanocomposites. Even though the thermal stability of PLA matrix decreased, an excellent stiffness-toughness compromise has been obtained.  相似文献

A new room-temperature ionic liquid (RTIL) consisting of the fluorinated anion bis(trifluoromethyl)-phosphinate((CF3)2PO2) coupled with the 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazoliuim (BMIM) cation has been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and electrochemical means including differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis, viscosity, conductivity and cyclic voltammetry measurements. Properties are compared with those of the known RTIL consisting of BMIM coupled with the bis(trifluoromethyl)-sulfonylimide (TFSI) anion.  相似文献

Ionic liquids are salts that are liquid at or near room temperature. Their wide liquid range, good thermal stability, and very low vapor pressure make them attractive for numerous applications. The general approach to creating ionic liquids is to employ a large, unreactive, low symmetry cation with and an anion that largely controls the physical and chemical properties. The most common cations used in ionic liquids are N-alkylpyridinium and N,N′-dialkylimidazolium. Another very effective cation for the creation of ionic liquids is tetraalkylphosphonium, [PR1R2R3R4]+. The alkyl groups, Rn, generally are large and not all the same. The halide salts of several phosphonium cations are available as starting materials for metathesis reactions used to prepare ionic liquids. The large phosphonium cations can combine with relatively large anions to make viscous but free flowing liquids with formula mass greater than 1000 g mol−1. Some other more massive salts are waxes and glasses. The synthesis and the physical, chemical, and optical properties of phosphonium-ionic liquids having anions with a wide range of masses were measured and are reported here.  相似文献

Pyrylium salts represent a new group of ionic liquids (ILs) containing a positive charge on the oxygen atom. The novel ILs were obtained starting with 4-pyrones from petroleum feedstock and renewable resources and sulfonic acids. The use of carboxylic acids instead of salts resulted in the formation of cocrystals. The synthesized pyrylium ionic liquids were stable in air and in contact with water and common organic solvents. The permanganate indices which are characteristic for prepared sulfonates were also investigated. The pyrylium ionic liquids were useful as immobilizers and dissolving agents in hydrosilylation reactions.  相似文献

We demonstrate that chemical peptide coupling using modern coupling agents is efficient in rt ionic liquids. This new approach presents some advantages, especially in the case of hindered amino acids, which are not easy to couple under standard conditions, since high purities for the crude peptides were observed with respect to coupling in classical solvents.  相似文献

Dialkylphosphate ionic liquids are useful solvents for cellulose dissolution and catalytic reactions. In this paper, a new methodology for the synthesis of hydrophobic phosphate-based ionic liquids is described. This method involves the oxidation reaction of an easily prepared H-phosphonate precursor by using the environmentally friendly and inexpensive oxidizing agent hydrogen peroxide.  相似文献

Protic imidazolium ionic liquids have been tested as reaction media in the Diels-Alder reaction between cyclopentadiene and two dienophiles (dimethyl maleate and methyl acrylate). Good conversions and endo/exo selectivities were achieved. The activation of the dienophile by hydrogen bonding with protic imidazolium ILs was demonstrated.  相似文献

Layered crystalline zirconium phenylphosphonate, Zr(O3PC6H5)2, changed its interlamellar distance of 1481 pm after intercalation of n-alkylmonoamines, CH3---(CH2)n---NH2 (n=0–6). The infrared spectra of the precursor host and the corresponding intercalated compounds presented vibrations associated with PO3 groups in the 1163–1039 cm−1 range and additional bands related to C---H stretching bands in the 2950–2850 cm−1 interval were observed after amine insertion. The thermogravimetric curves showed a mass loss assigned to the phenyl group; however, the amine intercalated fraction was not quantitatively determined. A peak in the 31P NMR spectrum centered at −6 ppm for the host was observed. The surface area was 42.0±0.2 m2 g−1 and the scanning electron micrograph gave images consistent with lamellar structural features. The layered compound was calorimetrically titrated with amine in ethanol, requiring three independent operations: (i) titration of matrix with amine, (ii) matrix salvation, and (iii) dilution of the amine solution. From those thermal effects the variation in enthalpy was calculated as: −41±1.00,−33.28±0.50,−34.40±0.80,−10.40±0.40,−12.40±0.42,−16.10±0.08 and −7.0±0.04 kJ mol−1, for n=0–6, respectively. The exothermic enthalpic values reflected a favorable energetic process of amine–host intercalation in ethanol. The negative Gibbs free energy results supported the spontaneity of all these intercalation reactions. The positive favorable entropic values, as carbon chain size increased, are in agreement with the free solvent molecules in the medium, as the amines are progressively bonded to the crystalline lamellar inorganic matrix at the solid/liquid interface.  相似文献

The spreading of ionic liquids on molecularly smooth solid surfaces has been little studied in the past. We show that the spreading behaviors of the two ionic liquids, [EMIM] ethyl sulfate and ECOENG™ 500, are well described by the combined molecular kinetic and hydrodynamic model of de Ruijter, de Coninck, and Oshanin [M.J. de Ruijter, J. de Coninck, G. Oshanin, Langmuir 15 (1999) 2209] with reasonable values for the molecular friction coefficient ζ, molecular displacement λ, and frequency K0 associated with contact line motion, as well as reasonable values for the microscopic cutoff a associated with hydrodynamic dissipation.  相似文献

Magnetic ionic liquids (MILs) have recently generated a cascade of innovative applications in numerous areas of analytical chemistry. By incorporating a paramagnetic component within the cation or anion, MILs exhibit a strong response toward external magnetic fields. Careful design of the MIL structure has yielded magnetoactive compounds with unique physicochemical properties including high magnetic moments, enhanced hydrophobicity, and the ability to solvate a broad range of molecules. The structural tunability and paramagnetic properties of MILs have enabled magnet-based technologies that can easily be added to the analytical method workflow, complement needed extraction requirements, or target specific analytes. This review highlights the application of MILs in analytical chemistry and examines the important structural features of MILs that largely influence their physicochemical and magnetic properties.  相似文献

A new ionic liquids grafted polysiloxane used as stationary phase for capillary gas chromatography(CGC) is described.The stationary phase of 1-vinyl-3-hexylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate anchored to polysiloxane(PMHS-[VHIm][PF_6]) was synthesized, characterized and coated onto capillary columns by static coating.The results show that the present stationary phase exhibits a very good chromatographic resolution and selectivity for Grob test mixture and alcohols with baseline resolution and symmetry peaks....  相似文献

The syntheses, characterization and properties of quaternary alkyl-substituted ammonium, imidazolium, triazolium and pyridinium salts with a variety of fluorine-containing anions have been studied in detail; however, ionic liquids with other cations and anions continue to be discovered. In this work, we present a systematic contact angles study of a series of 1-alkyl, 3-methyl-imidazolium ionic liquids (ILs) on well-defined polar and nonpolar monolayer surfaces supported on Si wafers. The advancing and receding contact angles of ILs were used to determine the surface energy of the monolayer surfaces using Neumann's equation-of-state and Zisman's critical surface tension approaches. In parallel, the contact angles of conventional probe fluids (molecular liquids) including water, formamide, methylene iodide, ethylene glycol, and hexadecane were determined on the same surfaces. The results obtained showed a great deal of similarity in wetting behavior of ionic vs molecular probe fluids: the contact angles of both sets of liquids followed the same patterns in accord with the surface tension of the fluid. A good agreement was found between the surface energy determined by different sets of liquids.  相似文献

Novel Lewis-base ionic liquids replacing typical anions   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We have synthesized two kinds of new Lewis-base ionic liquids (ILs); one is based on the relatively strong Lewis basic acetate anion, and the other is a salt composed of a mono-alkylated diamine such that the Lewis base site is incorporated in the cation. 1-Octyl-4-aza-1-azonia-bicyclo[2.2.2]octane bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide, [C8dabco]TFSA, and N-butyl-N-methylpyrrolidinium acetate, [p1,4]OAc, melted into fluid liquids at 26 and 81 °C, respectively. The thermal decomposition of [p1,4]OAc started at around 150 °C, whereas the thermal stability of [C8dabco]TFSA was almost equal to that of typical TFSA-based ILs in spite of the Lewis base site. This suggests that if the Lewis base site is incorporated into the cation the IL can maintain higher thermal stability. In addition, as a further result of the presence of the basic nitrogen, [C8dabco]TFSA can dissolve hydrated Cu(NO3)2 whereas the other TFSA-based ILs cannot.  相似文献

A convenient access to carbamoylmethylphosphine oxides (CMPO) in up to 96% isolated yield is developed via direct amidation of diphenylphosphoryl acetic acid in an ionic liquid as a recyclable reaction medium in the presence of triphenyl phosphite. The influence of the nature of the amine and anion and cation structure in the ionic liquid on the reaction rate and yields of the products are also investigated. 1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide [bmim]Br and trihexyltetradecylphosphonium chloride [P(C6H13)3(C14H29)]Cl proved to be the best media for carrying out this reaction.  相似文献
