Analysis of sound propagation in a complex urban estuary has application to underwater threat detection systems, underwater communication, and acoustic tomography. One of the most important acoustic parameters, sound attenuation, was analyzed in the Hudson River near Manhattan using measurements of acoustic noise generated by passing ships and recorded by a fixed hydrophone. Analysis of the ship noise level for varying distances allowed estimation of the sound attenuation in the frequency band of 10-80 kHz. The effective attenuation coefficient representing the attenuation loss above cylindrical spreading loss had only slight frequency dependence and can be estimated by the frequency independent value of 0.058 dBm.  相似文献

矢量水听器的每个阵元同时测量声场中声矢量和质点振速的3个分量,相对于声压水听器阵来说,矢量阵获取声场中更多的信息。利用矢量阵所获得速度场的信息可以去除目标方位估计中的 180°模糊。模拟器可以模拟实际海洋环境中目标的辐射特性和噪声特性,应用模拟器可以有效地缩短声纳的研制周期。本文提出一种矢量水听器基阵模拟器的设计方案,该方案解决了矢量阵中宽带信号的90°移相问题、时延精确控制问题和宽带噪声的谱状控制问题。  相似文献

The performance of large-aperture hydrophone arrays to detect and localize blue and fin whales' 15-85 Hz signature vocalizations under ocean noise conditions was assessed through simulations from a normal mode propagation model combined to noise statistics from 15 960 h of recordings in Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. The probability density functions of 2482 summer noise level estimates in the call bands were used to attach a probability of detection/masking to the simulated call levels as a function of whale depth and range for typical environmental conditions. Results indicate that call detection was modulated by the calling depth relative to the sound channel axis and by modal constructive and destructive interferences with range. Masking of loud infrasounds could reach 40% at 30 km for a receiver at the optimal depth. The 30 dB weaker blue whale D-call were subject to severe masking. Mapping the percentages of detection and localization allowed assessing the performance of a six-hydrophone array under mean- and low-noise conditions. This approach is helpful for optimizing hydrophone configuration in implementing passive acoustic monitoring arrays and building their detection function for whale density assessment, as an alternative to or in combination with the traditional undersampling visual methods.  相似文献

中频小型同振式矢量水听器采用低密度复合材料作为矢量通道外壳、压电加速度计作为内部振动传感器,以拾取水下声场中的矢量信息。与以往同振式矢量水听器设计不同的是每个矢量通道中只放置一只压电加速度计,这样,不仅减小了矢量水听器的体积,降低了水听器的整体平均密度,而且消除了以往同振式矢量水听器设计中矢量通道采用两只配对传感器而引起的相位不一致给矢量水听器定向带来的影响。而声压通道采用PVDF压电薄膜作为敏感元件,以拾取水下声场中的标量信息。  相似文献

海洋环境噪声是多种自然噪声和人为噪声的复杂组合,其谱级大小和频率组成是影响声纳系统探测性能的重要参数,由于海洋环境噪声时空域特性是非常复杂的,因此需要对海洋环境噪声进行长时间和大范围的观测才足以分析其特性。本文通过在多剖面水下浮标平台基础上集成声学测量系统,研制出了一种具有海洋环境噪声监测能力的水下声学浮标平台,该浮标平台可多次上浮、下潜,具备原位坐底和定深漂流两种工作模式,能够连续观测海洋环境噪声时长多达几个月。利用2019年8月在南海海区组织的多台水下声学浮标组网试验数据,分析了不同频率海洋环境噪声谱级随时间变化特性,数据处理结果符合海洋环境噪声典型变化规律,试验表明,水下声学浮标可作为一种潜在的优势水下无人移动平台,用于长期监测海洋环境噪声特性。  相似文献

矢量水听器能同时拾取声压和振速信息,在相同的信噪比、阵元数及阵列孔径下,矢量阵定向性能优于声压阵列。目前,以多重信号分类算法(Multiple signal classification,MUSIC)为代表的高分辨定向算法已经广泛应用于矢量水听器阵列中。但是随着信噪比降低、信号源方位间隔减小,传统MUSIC算法定向精度及分辨概率显著下降。本文采用最小二乘法设计适用于矢量水听器水平阵列的矩阵空域滤波器,用于阵列数据的空间滤波预处理,可以对阻带扇面噪声进行有效抑制。由滤波后的数据协方差矩阵可以得到新的噪声子空间,在传统MUSIC算法基础上修正通带扇面内阵列流型的畸变后即可得到滤波后MUSIC算法的方位谱。仿真结果表明,当信噪比较低时,改进算法有效提高了通带扇面内目标方位分辨性能。最后本文对四基元矢量水平阵列海试数据进行了处理,改进算法对窄带信号定向较常规算法-3 dB束宽减小了13°,旁瓣级降低约8 dB。对有一定带宽的行船辐射噪声定向处理得到了更加精确的航迹图,海试数据处理结果证明了该算法的可行性和有效性。  相似文献

水声学中波导不变量的研究是近30年来引人注目的课题之一。水下目标辐射噪声的直达波和海面、海底反射波之间的干涉现象中隐含有下水目标的距离信息。提取这种距离信息就为水下目标的被动测距提供了一种新的途径。理论分析和实际海试都证明,甚至单水听器的LOFAR(Low Frequency Analysis Record)图都隐含着目标的距离和运动信息。本文给出利用波导不变量提取目标距离信息的理论推导,证明了在形成干涉条纹的外界条件具备时,利用多个水听器构成的基阵也能以较大增益提供目标距离信息。虽然组成基阵的每一水听器出现干涉条纹的条件是有差异的。这种差异在波束成形时可以加以利用和补偿。本文提出的理论和部分仿真、海试结果为水下目标被动测距和目标识别提供了一种新的途径。   相似文献

The study of wave guide invariant in underwater acoustics is one of attracted topics in recent 30 years.The interferences of direct wave and reflect wave from sea surface and sea bottom of underwater target radiated noise inherent the information of target distance.Extraction of these distance information will provide a possible new way in passive ranging for underwater target.The theoretical analysis and the results of at sea experiments show that the LOFAR(Low Frequency Analysis Record) figure inherently contains the range and moving information of passive acoustic sources,even in the situation that the receiver is only one single hydrophone.The theoretical analysis of extraction of target distance information by using wave guide invariant is presented in this paper.It is shown that,based on the interference striation pattern of target,the hydrophone array system is possible to extract the distance information with quite high array gain.Although the mathematical constrain conditions in forming interference striation pattern are different for individual array element,but it is proved that the differences of time delays between array elements can be used in compensation of beamforming.The theoretical analysis,system simulation and some results of at sea experiment show a new way in passive ranging and target recognition.  相似文献

It was recently established that ocean acoustic tomography based on an inversion of ray travel times can be implemented without use of any dedicated sound sources by cross-correlating the ambient noise recorded on two line arrays, the shapes of which are known. In contrast to active tomography, the amount of useful information from noise interferometry is proportional to the product of the numbers of receivers in the two arrays. In our study based on the 2D and 3D numerical experiments, we examine a hypothesis concerning the feasibility of simultaneous performance of a passive ray tomography and passive positioning of arrays through cross-correlation of ambient or shipping noise. The numerical experiments are conducted under conditions close to those of a field experiment on passive ocean tomography. It is demonstrated that, when using arrays of 20–40 hydrophones, the sound velocity profile and the array shape can be found from noise correlation to an accuracy adequate for oceanological and acoustic applications.  相似文献

常规实验方法无法同步获取深海大尺度声学和水文数据,水下滑翔机可作为同步观测平台解决该问题.首先利用在东印度洋北部海域水下滑翔机同步获取的声传播和水文实验数据,分析了水下滑翔机的自噪声谱级和实验海区声传播特性,然后推算并修正了滑翔机水下运动轨迹,利用第一影区水下滑翔机接收声传播信号的脉冲多途到达时间差对声源进行测距与定深。潜标接收噪声与滑翔机自噪声谱级对比表明,水下滑翔机在海洋中无动力运动时的系统自噪声接近于潜标观测的海洋环境噪声。滑翔机实测的声传播损失与模型计算结果吻合较好,第一影区水下声源测距定深结果与实际位置较为一致,测距与定深的相对误差均小于5%。利用加载水听器的水下滑翔机可以实现水文环境数据与声学信号的同步观测,对深海声传播特性测量及定位算法研究具有重要意义。   相似文献

为了解决水下声矢量信号处理中的宽带目标被动探测问题, 提出了一种波束域的检测算法. 该算法借鉴人眼对空间谱的检测原理, 对波束域数据进行广义似然比检测. 首先结合干扰抑制问题和矢量环境噪声场特性, 探讨了波束域变换矩阵的设计准则, 并推导了解析解的形式; 然后在假定已知不含目标波束个数的情况下, 构建了波束域的概率密度模型, 并对模型中的未知参量进行最大似然估计, 进而给出了广义似然比检测器的形式; 最后应用信息论准则, 给出了不含目标波束个数的估计方法. 理论分析与仿真实验表明, 该算法在强目标干扰, 以及背景噪声功率谱起伏、时变等环境下, 始终具有更好的系统增益和恒虚警率特性. 湖上试验的结果进一步验证了算法的有效性.  相似文献

光纤水听器和矢量水听器作为当前水声研究领域最具有代表性的两大技术倍受业界关注。光纤水听器的重要贡献在于,从一个全新的角度出发,试图解决传统的水声传感和声纳数据传输一体化设计和实现的一系列问题,这有助于改善声纳系统的可靠性,并且有可能降低其制造、使用和维护的总成本。矢量水听器则由于其特有的指向性和矢量一相位处理方法,在低频和甚低频水声微弱目标探测方面具有潜在的优势.经过不懈的努力,光纤水听器和矢量水听器系统已经从实验室逐渐进入到工程应用阶段.这些对未来声纳系统的发展会产生相当重要的影响.文章尝试从声纳设计的角度对这两者的技术现状进行简要综述,包括它们各自的物理基础、工作原理、关键技术和应用领域.  相似文献

矢量水听器由于能获取声场中标量(声压)和矢量(振速)信息,因此单个的矢量水听器就可实现目标方位估计。单个矢量水听器是利用信号的声压和质点振速之间相关性进行信号方位估计,但是当存在干扰,并且干扰和信号之间相关时,如果对运用能量流进行方位估计的方法不加改进,则会出现很大的误差,甚至出现错误的估计。本文提出一种存在已知噪声干扰情况下的干扰抵消方法,并针对该方法进行了仿真试验,最后运用湖试数据进行了验证。结果表明,该方法能有效地减弱相千千柑对信号的影响,实现对信号的方位估计。  相似文献

建立了水声时变线谱的模型,将双稳态随机共振系统应用于水声时变线谱信号的检测,考查了随机共振系统对水声环境的适应能力,提出了设计水声线谱检测系统可以利用的外在参数。在信噪比变化、声压起伏、线谱漂移等情况下,仿真结果表明双稳态随机共振系统都能较好地工作。为水声领域新型线谱检测系统的设计提供了依据。  相似文献

Passive acoustic methods are increasingly being used to estimate animal population density. Most density estimation methods are based on estimates of the probability of detecting calls as functions of distance. Typically these are obtained using receivers capable of localizing calls or from studies of tagged animals. However, both approaches are expensive to implement. The approach described here uses a MonteCarlo model to estimate the probability of detecting calls from single sensors. The passive sonar equation is used to predict signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of received clicks, which are then combined with a detector characterization that predicts probability of detection as a function of SNR. Input distributions for source level, beam pattern, and whale depth are obtained from the literature. Acoustic propagation modeling is used to estimate transmission loss. Other inputs for density estimation are call rate, obtained from the literature, and false positive rate, obtained from manual analysis of a data sample. The method is applied to estimate density of Blainville's beaked whales over a 6-day period around a single hydrophone located in the Tongue of the Ocean, Bahamas. Results are consistent with those from previous analyses, which use additional tag data.  相似文献

Passively detecting underwater sound from the air can allow aircraft and surface vessels to monitor the underwater acoustic environment. Experimental research into an optical hydrophone is being conducted for remote, aerial detection of underwater sound. A laser beam is directed onto the water surface to measure the velocity of the vibrations occurring as the underwater acoustic signal reaches the water surface. The acoustically generated surface vibrations modulate the phase of the laser beam. Sound detection occurs when the laser is reflected back towards the sensor. Therefore, laser alignment on the specularly reflecting water surface is critical. As the water surface moves, the laser beam is reflected away from the photodetector and no signal is obtained. One option to mitigate this problem is to continually steer the laser onto a spot on the water surface that provides a direct back-reflection. Results are presented from a laboratory test that investigates the feasibility of the acousto-optic sensor detection on hydrostatic and hydrodynamic surfaces using a laser Doppler vibrometer in combination with a laser-based, surface normal glint tracker for remotely detecting underwater sound. This paper outlines the acousto-optic sensor and tracker concepts and presents experimental results comparing sensor operation under various sea surface conditions.  相似文献

水声应答器(Acoustic Transponder/Responder)是一类常用的水声设备,主要功能是完成水下设备的定位和导航,广泛应用在水声系统测试、目标模拟以及水声科学试验中。本文以NI公司的PCI-6052采集卡和工控机构成信号处理模块,设计出了一种可灵活配置的水声应答系统(ESRAE,Extensible Sound Responder for Acoustic Experiments),通过环境噪声电平的跟踪估计和脉冲判决技术实现了复杂海洋条件下脉冲检测、回发功能,并在海洋水声信道测量试验中得到了成功的应用。  相似文献

高阶累积量具有高斯噪声抑制和阵元扩展特性,将高阶累积量引入水声信号的方位估计中,提出了离格稀疏贝叶斯学习重构的高阶累积量测向算法。该方法利用高阶累积量对高斯噪声的自然盲性,计算阵列信号四阶累积量来滤除高斯噪声,使阵元在原来的结构上扩展了一倍;并构造出选择矩阵剔除了四阶累积量中的冗余项,能再一次的扩展阵元,得到的新观测模型具有更好的统计性能;最后利用空域稀疏性,推导出四阶累积量下的离格稀疏表示模型,采用贝叶斯学习解算出源信号的最大后验概率,实现了目标方位估计。数值仿真和海试实验数据表明,该方法在相邻声源方位间隔为4°的情况下分辨概率可达到95%以上,在信噪比大于-5 dB时目标方位估计的均方根误差在1°以内,可显著抑制背景噪声干扰,在多声源密集分布条件下也能准确、稳健的对水声目标方位进行估计。   相似文献

依据岛礁海域复杂海底地形、海试期间航船分布和实测风速数据,应用射线声传播理论,建立岛礁海域海洋环境噪声三维模型。在海试岛礁海域深海声道条件下,采用射线3D算法,仿真计算了32元垂直测量阵所处265~885 m负声速梯度深度范围内1 kHz风关和50 Hz远处航船海洋环境噪声级垂直分布,以及50 Hz航船海洋环境噪声垂直指向性,并与实测分析进行比较。结果表明,仿真结果与海试实测数据一致性良好。在本例海底起伏、接收点周边存在众多岛礁和海底山的三维环境中,1 kHz风关海洋环境噪声级随深度分布较近于均匀;西南方向较远处航道区海域海底较平坦,航道区至接收阵为缓斜坡海底,50 Hz远处航船海洋环境噪声级随深度有所增加,其噪声垂直指向性无明显水平凹槽。文中建立的岛礁海域海洋环境噪声三维模型,可较好地表征本例岛礁复杂地形海底起伏海域的风关和航船海洋环境噪声级的垂直分布、及航船环境噪声的垂直指向性,实测和仿真的岛礁海域海洋环境噪声相关数据,可供实际应用及相关研究参考。   相似文献

针对能量检测法在低信噪比下对非合作水声探测信号的检测性能显著下降的问题,提出了一种组合变分模态分解和小波变换降噪重构的信号检测方法。以信号分解出的各个本征模态函数的近似熵与互相关系数比值作为分量分类参数,将所得分量分为信号分量、含噪信号分量与噪声分量,然后利用第二代小波变换对含噪信号分量降噪后与信号分量组成重构信号,最后对重构信号进行检测。数值仿真结果表明该方法可以在无先验信息的情况下对CW和LFM信号自适应降噪,信噪比0 dB以下时CW信号重构后信噪比提升约12 dB,宽带LFM信号信噪比提升约8~9 dB,有效提升了低虚警概率下信号的检测概率。湖试结果表明,虚警概率为0.1时检测概率可提升至0.9以上,验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献
