The upgraded MAMI C accelerator is delivering electrons with an energy of 1558 MeV rou-tinely. The A2 collaboration is doing experiments with energy marked polarised real photons produced via Bremsstrahlung. We have constructed a polarized proton solid target system for
radioactive nuclear beam experiments at the Center for Nuclear Study,
the University of Tokyo. The proton polarization is based on an electron
population difference in a photo-excited triplet state of pentacene
molecule. The target system was completed in 2003 and applied to a
RI beam experiment in 2003 and 2005 by using the projectile fragment
separator, RIPS at RIKEN. The maximum polarization reached
20% under the condition of T=100 K and B=0.09 T.
Overview of the polarized target and its application in physics

semiconductors, taking Cd3As2 quantum well as an example. It is found, on the basis of newly derived 2DE−k

dispersion relation by including various types of anisotropies in the energy spectrum that the thermoelectric power decreases
with increasing electron concentration and decreasing film thickness respectively. In addition, the corresponding well-known

The 16O(13C,12C)17O reaction at 50 MeV has been investigated using the kinematical coincidence method. Polarization tensors t
20 and t
40 of 12C[2+
1] for the quantization axis taken along the direction of propagation have been measured by analyzing the energy spectrum of
12C[2+
1], modulated by the effect of γ ray emission. The deduced t
40 values significantly deviate from zero, contrary to the prediction of the distorted-wave Born approximation theory based
on one-step p shell neutron stripping without spin-dependent interactions. The phenomenological spin–orbit interaction necessary
to reproduce the magnitude of measured t
40 is found to be much larger than the folding model prediction. It is shown that the experimental polarization tensors as well
as the cross sections can be reproduced by introducing multi-step processes involving excitations in 12C and 13C without introducing spin-dependent interactions.

The present focus of the CBELSA/TAPS experiment is on meson-photoproduction off the nucleon using polarized photons and polarized targets. Here first preliminary results on the reactions γ~→p~→→ pπ~0 and γ~→p~→pη for both circularly and linearly polarized photons and a longitudinally polarized target are presented. Preliminary results for the beam asymmetry Σ and the double polarization observable G have been extracted for both reactions using the linear polarization data. From the circular polarization data the observable E has been determined. Due to the near 4π angular coverage of the detector system these results cover almost the full solid angle. 相似文献

The data on the tensor Ayy, Axx, Axz and vector Ay analyzing powers in the dd → ^3Hen obtained at T
d = 270 MeV in the angular range 0° - 110° in the c.m. are presented. The observed negative sign of the tensor analyzing powers Ayy, Axx and Axz at small angles clearly demonstrate the sensitivity to the ratio of the D - and S -wave component of the 3He wave function. However, the one-nucleon exchange calculations by using the standard 3He wave functions have failed to reproduce the strong variation of the tensor analyzing powers as a function of the angle

The capacity of uranium carbide target materials of
different structure and density for production of neutron-rich and
heavy neutron-deficient nuclides have been investigated. The
yields of Cs and Fr produced by a 1 GeV proton beam of the PNPI
synchrocyclotron and release properties of different targets have
been measured. Yields and release efficiencies of Cs and Fr
produced from a high density UC target material and from low
density UCx prepared by the ISOLDE method at IRIS in the
collaboration with PARRNe group from Orsay are compared. The
yields from ISOLDE original target are presented for comparison as

A role of the axial-vector mesons, such as K1 and a1, on the emitted-photon spectrum in hot hadronic matter is studied through the channels πρ→a
1→πγ and Kρ→K
1→Kγ. Both channels could be dominant over the region lower than E
γ∼ 0.5 GeV, while the role of the K1 meson is diminished in the higher E
γ region. This study is carried out with an SU
L(3) ⊗SU
R(3) effective chiral Lagrangian which includes vector and axial-vector mesons systematically and explains well their hadronic
and radiative decays simultaneously.

The kinetic model of exoergic surface reactions developed in a previous contribution [M. Tomellini, Surf. Sci. 577 (2005) 200] has been extended to include multiquantum processes of vibrational energy transfer to the solid. It is shown that, under quasi-steady state conditions, the flux of adsorbing atoms leads to overpopulation of the adatom vibrational ladder with respect to the Boltzmann distribution and to enhanced recombination rates. By means of the associative model for adatom recombination, the vibrational populations have been estimated from experimental data on the kinetics of D-adatoms abstraction by gas H-atoms at Pt(1 1 1), Pt(1 1 0), Ni(1 0 0) and Cu(1 1 1) surfaces. These populations have been found to be hyperthermal and the shape of the energy distribution functions approximated by the Treanor equation. The impact of the interplay between energy dissipation and diatom formation on the reaction rate, has also been analysed and discussed. 相似文献

The electric form factor of the neutron GEn has been determined in double polarized exclusive 3
He(e,e'n) scattering in quasi–elastic kinematics by measuring asymmetries A
⊥, A
∥ of the cross section with respect to helicity reversal of the electron, with the nuclear spin being oriented perpendicular
to the momentum transfer q in case of A⊥ and parallel in case of A∥. The experiment was performed at the 855 MeV c. w. microtron MAMI at Mainz. The degree of polarization of the electron beam
and of the gaseous 3
He target were each about 50%. Scattered electrons and neutrons were detected in coincidence by detector arrays covering large
solid angles. Quasi–elastic scattering events were reconstructed from the measured electron scattering angles ϑe, φe and the neutron momentum vector p
n
′ in the plane wave impulse approximation. We obtain the result <G
En>(0.27 < Q2c2/GeV2 < 0.5)= 0.0334 ± 0.0033stat± 0.0028syst which is averaged over the indicated range of Q
2, the squared momentum transfer. This G
En value is significantly smaller than measured from the D(e,e'n) reaction under similar kinematical conditions. To what extent final state interactions in 3He quench the G
En result is subject of calculations currently in progress elsewhere.

The 16O(11B,12C)15N reaction at 41.25 MeV has been investigated using the kinematical coincidence method. Polarization tensors t20 and t40 of 12C[2+ 1] for the quantization axis taken along the direction of propagation have been measured at center-of-mass angles (Θc.m.) between 48° and 62° by analyzing the energy spectrum of 12C[2+ 1] modulated by the effect of γ-ray emission. The cross-sections of the transfer reactions leading to the 12C[g.s.]+15N[g.s.], 12C[2+ 1]+15N[g.s.] and 12C[g.s.]+15N[3/2- 1] final states have also been measured in the range 48°≤Θc.m.≤ 120°. The polarization tensor terms of 12C[2+ 1] largely deviating from zero have been observed, contrary to the prediction by the distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA). The one-step DWBA calculation also fails in describing the transfer reaction cross-sections. It is shown that the coupled channel model calculation including excitations and reorientations in 11B and 12C satisfactorily reproduces both the tensor terms and the cross-sections of the transfer reactions. We establish rigorous upper and lower bounds for the speed of pulled fronts with a cut-off. For all reaction terms of KPP
type a simple analytic upper bound is given. The lower bounds however depend on details of the reaction term. For a small
cut-off parameter the two leading order terms in the asymptotic expansion of the upper and lower bounds coincide and correspond
to the Brunet-Derrida formula. For large cut-off parameters the bounds do not coincide and permit a simple estimation of the

The polarization transfer from longitudinally polarized electrons to protons in the elastic scattering p(
e, e'
p) has been measured around Q2 = 0.4 (GeV/c)2 with the three-spectrometer facility at the Mainz microtron MAMI. From this polarization transfer the ratio G
Ep/(G
Mp/μp) has been determined. The ratio is found to be slightly less than unity in agreement with recent results from other laboratories
and from the Rosenbluth separation of cross-sections measured with unpolarized electrons.

Neutral pion photoproduction has been measured from 550 to 1500 MeV with the GRAAL facility, located at the ESRF in Grenoble.
Differential cross-section and beam asymmetry have been measured over a wide angular range. These high-precision data improve
significantly the database for the beam asymmetry in the second and third resonance regions covering for the first time the
energy domain 1100-1500 MeV. New partial-wave analyses including these data are presented for which the beam asymmetry brings

The electric quadrupole moment of 17B and the g-factor of 17C were measured by using the fragmentation-induced nuclear polarization technique combined with the β-NMR method. The experimental
quadrupole moment of 17B is found strikingly close to that of the neutron closed-shell isotope 13B, indicating a strong quenching of the neutron E2 core-polarization charge. From the result obtained for the 17C g-factor, we can conclude that the ground-state spin-parity of 17C is 3/2+.

The spin asymmetry in the scattering of transversely polarised electrons on unpolarised hydrogen target has been measured
by the A4 Collaboration at backward-scattering angle. The square of the four-momentum transfer was Q
2 = 0.22 (GeV/c)^2 like in one of the previous measurements of the A4 Collaboration at forward angle. In this kinematical configuration the
spin asymmetry is of the order of 100ppm and presents a very clear azimuthal angle dependency. Some preliminary results are
presented and are in agreement with theoretical predictions. Also some details about the extraction of the asymmetry are given

We propose a novel approach to solve the three-nucleon (3N) Faddeev equation which avoids the complicated singularity pattern
going with the moving logarithmic singularities of the standard approach. In this new approach the treatment of the 3N Faddeev
equation becomes essentially as simple as the treatment of the two-body Lippmann-Schwinger equation. Very good agreement of
the new and old approaches in the application to nucleon-deuteron elastic scattering and the breakup reaction is found. 相似文献
