We investigate the global existence and analyticity of mild solution to the three-dimensional generalized Hall-magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) system in this work. We prove the global existence and analyticity of solutions in the corresponding critical spaces. The work extends global existence and analyticity of solutions to Hall-MHD system in Duan and MHD system in Wang and Ye and Zhao, to the generalized Hall-MHD system with 1/2 ≤ α,β ≤ 1.  相似文献

Summary. We investigate global equilibria of twisted, isotropic elastic rings. The high degree of symmetry in the problem leads to nonisolated solutions. We prove that all solutions are flip-symmetric, and from this we can globally isolate all solution branches. We derive possible other choices for boundary conditions systematically and show that other conditions necessarily lead to spurious solutions. We show global computations performed by the Parallel Simplex Algorithm. Received March 26, 2000; accepted September 19, 2000 Online publication February 26, 2001  相似文献

We consider the general nonlinear heat equation on where and g satisfies certain growth conditions. We prove the existence of global solutions for small initial data with respect to a norm which is related to the structure of the equation. We also prove that some of those global solutions are asymptotic for large time to self-similar solutions of the single power nonlinear heat equation, i.e. with Received: 23 July 1999 / Accepted: 14 December 2000 / Published online: 23 July 2001  相似文献

Global existence of solutions for perturbed differential equations   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
In this paper we consider sufficient conditions for the continuability of solutions for perturbed differential equations. We obtain also some results for the global existence of solutions for differential inclusions and for stochastic differential equations of McShane and Ito type. We give an application to the global inversion of local diffeomorphisms.  相似文献

In this paper we present some results on the global existence of weak solutions to a nonlinear variational wave equation and some related problems. We first introduce the main tools, the L p Young measure theory and related compactness results, in the first section. Then we use the L p Young measure theory to prove the global existence of dissipative weak solutions to the asymptotic equation of the nonlinear wave equation, and comment on its relation to Camassa-Holm equations in the second section. In the third section, we prove the global existence of weak solutions to the original nonlinear wave equation under some restrictions on the wave speed. In the last section, we present global existence of renormalized solutions to two-dimensional model equations of the asymptotic equation, which is also the so-called vortex density equation arising from sup-conductivity.  相似文献

We prove the existence of global solutions to the initial-boundary-value problem on the half space R+ for a one-dimensional viscous ideal polytropic gas. Some suitable assumptions are made to guarantee the existence of smooth solutions. Employing the L2- energy estimate, we prove that the impermeable problem has a unique global solutionis.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss continuation properties and asymptotic behavior of -regular solutions to abstract semilinear parabolic problems in case when the nonlinear term satisfies critical growth conditions. A necessary and sufficient condition for global in time existence of -regular solutions is given. We also formulate sufficient conditions to construct a piecewise -regular solutions (continuation beyond maximal time of existence for -regular solutions). Applications to strongly damped wave equations and to higher order semilinear parabolic equations are finally discussed. In particular global solvability and the existence of a global attractor for in is achieved in case when a nonlinear term f satisfies a critical growth condition and a dissipativeness condition. Similar result is obtained for a 2mth order semilinear parabolic initial boundary value problem in a Hilbert space .  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the initial value problem for the Rosenau equation with damped term. The decay structure of the equation is of the regularity‐loss type, which causes the difficulty in high‐frequency region. Under small assumption on the initial value, we obtain the decay estimates of global solutions for n≥1. The proof also shows that the global solutions may be approximated by the solutions to the corresponding linear problem for n≥2. We prove that the global solutions may be approximated by the superposition of nonlinear diffusion wave for n = 1. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper,we focus on studying approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation and their error estimates. We employ the theory of planar dynamical systems to study traveling wave solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation. We obtain some global phase portraits under different parameter conditions as well as the existence of bounded traveling wave solutions.Furthermore,we investigate the relations between the behavior of bounded traveling wave solutions and the dissipation coefficient r of the equation. We obtain two critical values of r,and find that a bounded traveling wave appears as a kink profile solitary wave if |r| is greater than or equal to some critical value, while it appears as a damped oscillatory wave if |r| is less than some critical value.By means of analysis and the undetermined coefficients method,we find that the compound KdV-Burgers equation only has three kinds of bell profile solitary wave solutions without dissipation.Based on the above discussions and according to the evolution relations of orbits in the global phase portraits,we obtain all approximate damped oscillatory solutions by using the undetermined coefficients method. Finally, using the homogenization principle,we establish the integral equations reflecting the relations between exact solutions and approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions. Moreover,we also give the error estimates for these approximate solutions.  相似文献

We investigate the global nature of bifurcation components of positive solutions of a general class of semilinear elliptic boundary value problems with nonlinear boundary conditions and having linear terms with sign-changing coefficients. We first show that there exists a subcontinuum, i.e., a maximal closed and connected component, emanating from the line of trivial solutions at a simple principal eigenvalue of a linearized eigenvalue problem. We next consider sufficient conditions such that the subcontinuum is unbounded in some space for a semilinear elliptic problem arising from population dynamics. Our approach to establishing the existence of the subcontinuum is based on the global bifurcation theory proposed by López-Gómez. We also discuss an a priori bound of solutions and deduce from it some results on the multiplicity of positive solutions.  相似文献

We investigate the global stability, the periodic character and the boundedness nature of solutions of the equation in the title for all admissible nonnegative values of the parameters and the initial conditions. We show that the solutions exhibit a trichotomy character depending on how the parameter γ compares to the sum of the parameters δ and A.  相似文献

We study spatial analyticity properties of solutions of the three-dimensional Navier–Stokes equations and obtain new growth rate estimates for the analyticity radius. We also study stability properties of strong global solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations with data in Hr, r?1/2, and prove a stability result for the analyticity radius.  相似文献

In this paper we survey recent results on the decay of periodic and almost periodic solutions of conservation laws. We also recall some recent results on the global existence of periodic solutions of conservation laws systems which lie inBV loc and are constructed through Glimm scheme. The latter motivates a discussion on a possible strategy for solving the open problem of the global existence of periodic solutions of the Euler equations for nonisentropic gas dynamics. We base our decay analysis on a general result about space-time functions which are almost periodic in the space variable, established here for the first time. This result is an abstract version of Theorem 2.1 in [31], which in turn is an extention of the combined result given by Theorems 3.1–3.2 in [9].  相似文献

In this paper we study the existence of global solutions to the Euler equations of compressible isothermal gas dynamics with semiconductor devices. We construct the approximate solutions by Lax–Friedrichs scheme. The convergence and consistency are obtained by using the compensated compactness framework for γ = 1. The global entropy solutions in L are obtained. We deal with the initial data containing unbounded velocity which is different from the isentropic case. Received: November 18, 2003  相似文献

In this article we investigate the issue of global existence of the solutions of the Cauchy problem for semilinear Tricomi-type equations in ? n+1, n > 1. We give some sufficient conditions for existence of the global weak solutions. These conditions tie together nonlinearity with the speed of propagation and with the dimension n. We also prove necessity of these (or close) conditions. In fact, we extend these necessity results to the nonlocal semilinear equations.  相似文献

We study the solutions of an equation of the form Lu=f, where L is a pseudo-differential operator defined for functions on the unit sphere embedded in a Euclidean space, f is a given function, and u is the desired solution. We give conditions under which the solution exists, and deduce local smoothness properties of u given corresponding local smoothness properties of f, measured by local Besov spaces. We study the global and local approximation properties of the spectral solutions, describe a method to obtain approximate solutions using values of f at points on the sphere and polynomial operators, and describe the global and local rates of approximation provided by our polynomial operators. In this paper, we study the Cauchy problem of the generalized Novikov equation. We first show that under suitable condition, the strong solution exists globally via some a priori estimates. Then, we prove the existence and uniqueness of global weak solutions by the approximation method. We also obtain the exact peaked solutions.  相似文献

We investigate a multi‐dimensional isentropic hydrodynamic (Euler–Poisson) model for semiconductors, where the energy equation is replaced by the pressure–density relation p(n) . We establish the global existence of smooth solutions for the Cauchy–Neumann problem with small perturbed initial data and homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. We show that, as t→+∞, the solutions converge to the non‐constant stationary solutions of the corresponding drift–diffusion equations. Moreover, we also investigate the existence and uniqueness of the stationary solutions for the corresponding drift–diffusion equations. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the global in time existence of classical solutions to the d-Dimensional (dD) micropolar equations with fractional dissipation. Micropolar equations model a class of fluids with nonsymmetric stress tensor such as fluids consisting of particles suspended in a viscous medium. It remains unknown whether or not smooth solutions of the classical 3D micropolar equations can develop finite-time singularities. The purpose here is to explore the global regularity of solutions for dD micropolar equations under the smallest amount of dissipation. We establish the global regularity for two important fractional dissipation cases. Direct energy estimates are not sufficient to obtain the desired global a priori bounds in each case. To overcome the difficulties, we employ the Besov space techniques.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with global existence and asymptotic behavior of H1 solutions to the Cauchy problem of one‐dimensional full non‐Newtonian fluids with the weighted small initial data. We then obtain the global existence of Hi(i = 2,4) solutions and their asymptotic behavior for the system. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
