Exact Controllability of Semilinear Evolution Systems and Its Application   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this paper, we obtain several abstract results concerning the exact controllability of semilinear evolution systems. First, we prove the null local exact controllability of semilinear first-order systems by means of the contraction mapping principle; in this case, we do not assume any compactness. Next, we derive the global and/or local exact controllability of semilinear second-order systems by means of the Schauder fixed-point theorem; in this case, we assume only the embedding of the related spaces having some compactness, which is reasonable for many concrete problems. Our main result shows that the observability of the dual of the linearized system implies the exact controllability of the original semilinear system. Finally, we apply our abstract results to the exact controllability of the semilinear wave equation.  相似文献

In this paper the authors first present the definition and some properties of weak solutions to 1-D first order linear hyperbolic systems. Then they show that the constructive method with modular structure originally given in the framework of classical solutions is still very powerful and effective in the framework of weak solutions to prove the exact boundary (null) controllability and the exact boundary observability for first order hyperbolic systems.  相似文献

In this paper, we study one-dimensional linear degenerate wave equations with a distributed controller. We establish observability inequalities for degenerate wave equation by multiplier method. We also deduce the exact controllability for degenerate wave equation by Hilbert uniqueness method when the control acts on the nondegenerate boundary. We prove exact controllability for Maxwell's system with variable coefficients in a bounded domain by a current flux in the boundary. The proof relies on a duality argument which reduces the proof of exact controllability to the proof of continuous observability for the homogeneous adjoint system. In this paper we obtain two exact internal controllability results of Maxwell's equations in a general region by using multiplier techniques. The first one is exact controllability in a short time, in which we obtain the ``optimal" (observability) estimates when the location and the shape of the controller is fixed. What happens if we allow the controller to change? Under some conditions, we show that by doing that the system can be exactly controllable within any given time duration, which is our second exact controllability result. We study the observability and the exact controllability of a weakly coupled system with an internal locally control acting on only one equation. We show that, for sufficiently large time, the observation of the velocity of the first component of the solution on a neighborhood of a part of the boundary allows us to get back a weakened energy of initial data of the second component, this if the coupling parameter is sufficiently small, but non-vanishing. This result leads to a uniqueness theorem and, by the HUM method, we prove that the total system is exactly controllable.  相似文献

This paper is addressed to studying the exact controllability of stochastic Schrödinger equations by two controls. One is a boundary control and the other is an internal control in the diffusion term. By means of the duality argument, the control problem is converted into an observability problem for backward stochastic Schrödinger equations, and the desired observability estimate is obtained by a global Carleman estimate. At last, we give a result about the lack of exact controllability, which shows that the action of two controls is necessary.  相似文献

The goal of this article is to present a local exact controllability result for the two- and three-dimensional compressible Navier–Stokes equations on a constant target trajectory when the controls act on the whole boundary. Our study is then based on the observability of the adjoint system of some linearized version of the system, which is analyzed using a subsystem for which the coupling terms are somewhat weaker. The authors prove the global exact boundary controllability for the cubic semi-linear wave equation in three space dimensions, subject to Dirichlet, Neumann, or any other kind of boundary controls which result in the well-posedness of the corresponding initial-boundary value problem. The exponential decay of energy is first established for the cubic semi-linear wave equation with some boundary condition by the multiplier method, which reduces the global exact boundary controllability problem to a local one. The proof is carried out in line with [2, 15]. Then a constructive method that has been developed in [13] is used to study the local problem. Especially when the region is star-complemented, it is obtained that the control function only need to be applied on a relatively open subset of the boundary. For the cubic Klein-Gordon equation, similar results of the global exact boundary controllability are proved by such an idea.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish the null/approximate controllability for forward stochastic heat equations with control on the drift. The null controllability is obtained by a time iteration method and an observability estimate on partial sums of eigenfunctions for elliptic operators. As a consequence of the null controllability, we obtain the observability estimate for backward stochastic heat equations, which leads to a unique continuation property for backward stochastic heat equations, and hence the desired approximate controllability for forward stochastic heat equations. It deserves to point out that one needs to introduce a little stronger assumption on the controller for the approximate controllability of forward stochastic heat equations than that for the null controllability. This is a new phenomenon arising in the study of the controllability problem for stochastic heat equations.  相似文献

We study homogeneous but not necessarily isotropic linear elastodynamic systems. Applying the Hilbert Uniqueness Method (HUM), we establish their boundary observability and their exact boundary controllability. Then we construct boundary feedbacks leading to arbitrarily large energy decay rates. Finally, under some geometrical conditions, we prove that a “natural” boundary feedback leads also to exponentiel energy decay.  相似文献
