In this paper, by using the critical point theory, the existence of periodic and subharmonic solutions to a class of second order functional difference equations is obtained. The main approach used in our paper is variational technique and the Saddle Point Theorem. The existance of nontrivial (x=0( periodic solutions of a general class of periodic nonlinear difference equations is proved using bifurcation theory methods. Specifically, the existance of a global continuum of nontrivial periodicsolutions that bifurcates from the trivial solution (x=0) is proved. Conditions are given under which the nontrivial solutions are positive. A prerrequisite Fredholm and adjoint operator theory for linear periodic systems is developed. This paper deals with the boundedness of the solutions of the following dynamic equations(r(t)x△(t))△+a(t)f(xσ(t))+b(t)g(xσ(t))=0and(r(t)x△(t))△+a(t)xσ(t)+b(t)f(x(t-τ(t)))=e(t)on a time scale T.By using the Bellman integral inequality,we establish some suffcient conditions for boundedness of solutions of the above equations.Our results not only unify the boundedness results for differential and difference equations but are also new for the q-difference equations.  相似文献

The functions p,q,g : [t0, ∞) → R, f :R → R are continuous, a(t) > 0, p(t) ≥ 0,q(t) ≥ 0 for t ≥ t0, limt→∞ g(t) = ∞, and q is not identically zero on any subinterval of [t0, ∞). We consider transcendental meromorphic solutions with N(r,f) = S(r,f) of the following type of nonlinear differential equations:f~n + Pn-2(f) = p1(z)e~(α1(z)) +p2(z)e~(α2(z)),where n≥ 2 is an integer, Pn-2(f) is a differential polynomial in f of degree not greater than n-2 with small functions of f as its coefficients, p1(z), p2(z) are nonzero small functions of f, and α1(z), α2(z)are nonconstant entire functions. In particular, we give out the conditions for ensuring the existence of meromorphic solutions and their possible forms of the above equation. In this paper, a sine-cosine method is used to construct many periodic and solitary wave solutions to two nonlinear evolution systems: the coupled quadratic nonlinear equations and the coupled Klein-Gordon-Schrödinger equations. Under different parameter conditions, explicit formulas for some new periodic and solitary wave solutions are successfully obtained. The study of periodic solutions with constant sign in the Abel equation of the second kind can be made through the equation of the first kind. This is because the situation is equivalent under the transformation x?x−1, and there are many results available in the literature for the first kind equation. However, the equivalence breaks down when one seeks for solutions with nonconstant sign. This note is devoted to periodic solutions with nonconstant sign in Abel equations of the second kind. Specifically, we obtain sufficient conditions to ensure the existence of a periodic solution that shares the zeros of the leading coefficient of the Abel equation.
