We study a unilateral problem for the operator L perturbed of Navier–Stokes operator in a noncylindrical case, where
Lu=u-(ν0+ν1∥u(t)∥2)Δu+(u.∇)u-f+∇p.Lu=u-(ν0+ν1u(t)2)Δu+(u.)u-f+p.
Here we considered a cylindrical domain and using an appropriate penalization, we obtained a variational inequality for the Navier–Stokes system. Here we transform the noncylindrical domain into a cylindrical domain using a diffeomorphism as in Vieira-Rabello Unilateral problem for the Navier–Stokes operators in noncylindrical domains, Comput. Appl. Math. 13(1) (1994) 67–79.  相似文献

In this paper, we mainly study the well-posedness for the 3-D inhomogeneous incompressible Navier–Stokes equations with variable viscosity. With some smallness assumption on the BMO-norm of the initial density, we first get the local well-posedness of (1.1) in the critical Besov spaces. Moreover, if the viscosity coefficient is a constant, we can extend this local solution to be a global one. Our theorem implies that we have successfully extended the integrability index p of the initial velocity which has been obtained by Abidi, Gui and Zhang in [3], Burtea in [8] and Zhai and Yin in [32] to approach the ideal one i.e. 1<p<6. The main novelty of this work is to apply the CRW theorem obtained by Coifman, Rochberg, Weiss in [11] to get a new a priori estimate for an elliptic equation with variable coefficients. The uniqueness of the solution also relies on a Lagrangian approach as in [16], [17], [18].  相似文献

For the compressible Navier–Stokes equations with viscosity and heat conductivity coefficients possibly depending on the density or temperature, several blowup criteria are given to the local-in-time strong solutions. The proof is based on energy methods together with elliptic and parabolic estimates adopted to the present situation.  相似文献

In this note we study the Navier–Stokes initial boundary value problem in exterior domains. We assume that the initial data has just finite Dirichlet norm. We call the solution \(D\) -solution. It is well known that the analogous steady problem is solved in Galdi (An Introduction to the Mathematical Theory of the Navier–Stokes Equations II. Springer, Berlin, 1994), as well as the existence of time periodic solutions in Maremonti et al. (J Math Sci 93(5):719–746, 1999, Zap. Nauchn. Semin. POMI 233:142–182, 1996). So it is natural to inquire about the case of the nonstationary problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we study vanishing viscosity limit of 1-D isentropic compressible Navier–Stokes equations with general viscosity to isentropic Euler equations. Firstly, we improve estimates of the entropy flux, then we obtain that the weak solution of the isentropic Euler equations is the inviscid limit of the isentropic compressible Navier–Stokes equations with general viscosity using the compensated compactness frame recently established by G.-Q. Chen and M. Perepelitsa.  相似文献

We study existence of global in time solutions to the Navier–Stokes equations in a two dimensional domain with an unbounded boundary. The problem is considered with slip boundary conditions involving nonzero friction. The main result shows a new L-bound on the vorticity. A key element of the proof is the maximum principle for a reformulation of the problem. Under some restrictions on the curvature of the boundary and the friction the result for large data (including flux) with the infinite Dirichlet integral is obtained.Received: October 31, 2002; revised: September 17, 2003  相似文献

The proposal of this note is to derive the equations of boundary layers in the small viscosity limit for the two-dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes equations defined in a curved bounded domain with the non-slip boundary condition. By using curvilinear coordinate system in a neighborhood of boundary, and the multi-scale analysis we deduce that the leading profiles of boundary layers of the incompressible flows in a bounded domain still satisfy the classical Prandtl equations when the viscosity goes to zero, which are the same as for the flows defined in the half space.  相似文献

A random perturbation of a deterministic Navier?CStokes equation is considered in the form of an SPDE with Wick type nonlinearity. The nonlinear term of the perturbation can be characterized as the highest stochastic order approximation of the original nonlinear term ${u{\nabla}u}$ . This perturbation is unbiased in that the expectation of a solution of the perturbed equation solves the deterministic Navier?CStokes equation. The perturbed equation is solved in the space of generalized stochastic processes using the Cameron?CMartin version of the Wiener chaos expansion. It is shown that the generalized solution is a Markov process and scales effectively by Catalan numbers.  相似文献

We study the blowup phenomena of solutions to the compressible Navier–Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity coefficients in arbitrary dimensions. By constructing a family of self-similar analytical solutions with spherical symmetry, some interesting information including the blowup and expanding properties are shown. In addition, the case of constant viscosity coefficients is also considered. The approach is based on the phase plane method.  相似文献

We deal with the time-dependent Navier–Stokes equations (NSE) with Dirichlet boundary conditions on the whole domain or, on a part of the domain and open boundary conditions on the other part. It is shown numerically that combining the penalty-projection method with spatial discretization by the Marker And Cell scheme (MAC) yields reasonably good results for solving the above-mentioned problem. The scheme which has been introduced combines the backward difference formula of second-order (BDF2, namely Gear’s scheme) for the temporal approximation, the second-order Richardson extrapolation for the nonlinear term, and the penalty-projection to split the velocity and pressure unknowns. Similarly to the results obtained for other projection methods, we estimate the errors for the velocity and pressure in adequate norms via the energy method.  相似文献

It is known that in a classical setting, the Navier–Stokes equations can be reformulated in terms of so-called magnetization variables w that satisfy
(1)?tw+(Pw??)w+(?Pw)?w?Δw=0,
and relate to the velocity u via a Leray projection u=Pw. We will prove the equivalence of these formulations in the setting of weak solutions that are also in L(0,T;H1/2)L2(0,T;H3/2) on the 3-dimensional torus.Our main focus is the proof of global well-posedness in H1/2 for a new variant of (1), where Pw is replaced by w in the second nonlinear term:
(2)?tw+(Pw??)w+12?|w|2?Δw=0.
This is based on a maximum principle, analogous to a similar property of the Burgers equations.  相似文献

We study the behavior of the set of time-periodic solutions of the three-dimensional system of Navier–Stokes equations in a bounded domain as the frequency of the oscillations of the right-hand side tends to infinity. It is established that the set of periodic solutions tends to the solution set of the homogenized stationary equation.  相似文献

In this paper we deal with the system of the non-steady Navier–Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions. We study the existence and uniqueness of a solution of this system. Suppose that the system is solvable with some given data (the initial velocity and the right hand side). We prove that there exists a unique solution of this system for data which are small perturbations of the previous ones.  相似文献
