In this paper we consider the bifurcation problem -div A（x, u）=λa（x）｜u｜^p-2u＋f（x,u,λ） in Ω with p 〉 1.Under some proper assumptions on A（x,ξ）,a（x） and f（x,u,λ）,we show that the existence of an unbounded branch of positive solutions bifurcating Irom the principal eigenvalue of the problem --div A（x, u）=λa（x）｜u｜^p-2u.

Multiple solutions to singular fourth order elliptic equations on compact manifolds

Using the method of Nehari manifolds, we prove the existence of at least two distinct weak solutions to elliptic equation of four order with singularities and with critical Sobolev growth.     

Boundary blow-up solutions for a class of quasilinear elliptic equations

For a given bounded domain Ω in R ^N with smooth boundary ?Ω, we give sufficient conditions on f so that the m-Laplacian equation △ _m u = f(x, u, ?u) admits a boundary blow-up solution u ∈ W ^1,p (Ω). Our main results are new and extend the results in J.V. Concalves and Angelo Roncalli [Boundary blow-up solutions for a class of elliptic equations on a bounded domain, Appl. Math. Comput. 182 (2006), pp. 13–23]. Our approach employs the method of lower–upper solution theorem, fixed point theory and weak comparison principle.     

Problems for elliptic singular equations with a gradient term

We investigate the homogeneous Dirichlet problem for a class of second-order nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations with singular data. In particular, we study the asymptotic behaviour of the solution near the boundary up to the second order under various assumptions on the growth of the coefficients of the equation.

Existence of sign-changing solutions for semilinear singular elliptic equations with critical Sobolev exponents

We consider the semilinear elliptic problem in Ω, u=0 on ∂Ω, where 0∈Ω is a smooth bounded domain in RN, N?4, , is the critical Sobolev exponent, f(x,⋅) has subcritical growth at infinity, K(x)>0 is continuous. We prove the existence of sign-changing solutions under different assumptions when Ω is a usual domain and a symmetric domain, respectively.     

W2,2 interior convergence for some class of elliptic anisotropic singular perturbations problems

In this paper, we deal with anisotropic singular perturbations of some class of elliptic problems. We study the asymptotic behavior of the solution in a certain second-order pseudo Sobolev space.     

The second expansion of the solution for a singular elliptic boundary value problem

In this paper we analyze the second expansion of the unique solution near the boundary to the singular Dirichlet problem −Δu=b(x)g(u), u>0, x∈Ω, u_|∂Ω=0, where Ω is a bounded domain with smooth boundary in RN, g∈C¹((0,∞),(0,∞)), g is decreasing on (0,∞) with and g is normalised regularly varying at zero with index −γ (γ>1), , is positive in Ω, may be vanishing on the boundary.     

Solutions for a class of iterated singular equations

Some fundamental solutions of radial type for a class of iterated elliptic singular equations including the iterated Euler equation are given.
