With an eye on applications in quantum mechanics and other areas of science, much work has been done to generalize traditional analytic methods to p-adic systems. In 2002 the first paper on p-adic wavelets was published. Since then p-adic wavelet sets, multiresolution analyses, and wavelet frames have all been introduced. However, so far all constructions have involved dilations by p. This paper presents the first construction of a p-adic wavelet system with a more general matrix dilation, laying the foundation for further work in this direction.  相似文献

A family of sets is union-free if there are no three distinct sets in the family such that the union of two of the sets is equal to the third set. Kleitman proved that every union-free family has size at most (1+o(1))( n/2 n ). Later, Burosch–Demetrovics–Katona–Kleitman–Sapozhenko asked for the number α(n) of such families, and they proved that \({2^{\left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} n \\ {n/2} \end{array}} \right)}} \leqslant \alpha \left( n \right) \leqslant {2^{2\sqrt 2 \left( {\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} n \\ {n/2} \end{array}} \right)\left( {1 + o\left( 1 \right)} \right)}}\) They conjectured that the constant \(2\sqrt 2 \) can be removed in the exponent of the right-hand side. We prove their conjecture by formulating a new container-type theorem for rooted hypergraphs.  相似文献

The cell structure of the spaces ℳ2,1 and ℳ3,1 is considered. These are the spaces of complex curves of genus 2 and 3 with one marked point. For the space ℳ2,1, nine cells of the highest dimension 8 are described and their adjacency is studied. For the space ℳ3,1, a list of all 1726 cells of the highest dimension 14 (with orientation) is obtained. The list of adjacent couples of cells is also obtained. Let p 1, p 2, p 3, p 4 be four pairwise distinct points in the boundary of complex hyperbolic 2-space H 2 and any three points do not lie in the same C-circle. We show that we are always able to group the four points into two classes such that each class contains two points, the two complex lines spanned by each class are ultra-parallel or intersect. As an application, we can simplify the discussion in the paper [7], in which Parker and Platis used the global geometry coordinates to describe the Falbel’s cross-ratio variety of the four pairwise distinct points on the ∂H 2.  相似文献

The problem on the number of precomplete classes in the functional system P κ τ is considered, elements of P κ τ are deterministic S-functions defined on words of length τ composed from letters of an alphabet of cardinality κ. The paper is devoted to questions on lifting of the functor M τ : Tych → Tych to the categories of metric and uniform spaces. Similar problems were solved for the functor U τ of the unit ball of τ-additive measures. The main difference between the functor M τ and the functor U τ is that the space M τ (X) is compact only for X = Ø. A more delicate distinction is expressed by Theorem 2 which implies that the functor M τ does not always preserve the uniform continuity of mappings of metric spaces (even in the case of compacta). Nevertheless, the problem of lifting the functor M τ to the category Unif turns to be solvable.  相似文献

A three dimensional Lorentzian hypersurface x: M 1 3 → ? 1 4 is called conformally flat if its induced metric is conformal to the flat Lorentzian metric, and this property is preserved under the conformal transformation of ? 1 4 . Using the projective light-cone model, for those whose shape operators have three distinct real eigenvalues, we calculate the integrability conditions by constructing a scalar conformal invariant and a canonical moving frame in this paper. Similar to the Riemannian case, these hypersurfaces can be determined by the solutions to some system of partial differential equations.  相似文献

Some extensions of the results of the first author related with the Hilbert spaces A ω,0 2 of functions holomorphic in the half–plane are proved. Some new Hilbert spaces A ω 2 of Dirichlet type are introduced, which are included in the Hardy space H2 over the half–plane. While the theory of asymptotics for L2-minimal polynomials is highly developed, so far not much is known about Lp-minimal polynomials, Indeed, Bernstein gave asymptotics for the minimum deviation, Fekete and Walsh gave nth root asymptotics and, recently, Lubinsky and Saff came up with asymptotics outside the support [-1,1]. The near-group rings are an important class of fusion rings in the theory of tensor categories. In this paper, the irreducible ?+-modules over the near-group fusion ring K(?3, 3) are explicitly classified. It turns out that there are only four inequivalent irreducible ?+-modules of rank 2 and two inequivalent irreducible ?+-modules of rank 4 over K(?3, 3).  相似文献

In this paper, we prove following: If GPU (2, 1) is an infinite, discrete group, acting on P2 without complex invariant lines, then the component containing ℍP2 of the domain of discontinuity Ω(G) = PP2∖ Λ (G), according to Kulkarni, is G-invariant complete Kobayashi hyperbolic. Three new summation formulas for 6 ψ 6 bilateral basic hypergeometric series attached to root systems are presented. Remarkably, two of these formulae, labelled by the A2n−1 and A2n root systems, can be reduced to multiple 6 φ 5 sums generalising the well-known van Diejen sum. This latter sum serves as the weight-function normalisation for the BC n q-Racah polynomials of van Diejen and Stokman. Two 8 φ 7-level extensions of the multiple 6 φ 5 sums, as well as their elliptic analogues, are conjectured. This opens up the prospect of constructing novel A-type extensions of the Koornwinder–Macdonald theory.  相似文献

In this paper we show that both of the Green-Schwarz anomaly factorization formula for the gauge group E 8 × E 8 and the Ho?ava-Witten anomaly factorization formula for the gauge group E8 can be derived through modular forms of weight 14. This answers a question of Schwarz. We also establish generalizations of these factorization formulas and obtain a new Ho?ava-Witten type factorization formula.  相似文献
