In accordance with the principle of using sufficiently the delayed information, and by making use of the nonlinear multisplitting and the nonlinear relaxation techniques, we present in this paper a class of asynchronous parallel nonlinear multisplitting accelerated overrelaxation (AOR) methods for solving the large sparse nonlinear complementarity problems on the high-speed MIMD multiprocessor systems. These new methods, in particular, include the so-called asynchronous parallel nonlinear multisplitting AOR-Newton method, the asynchronous parallel nonlinear multisplitting AOR-chord method and the asynchronous parallel nonlinear multisplitting AOR-Steffensen method. Under suitable constraints on the nonlinear multisplitting and the relaxation parameters, we establish the local convergence theory of this class of new methods when the Jacobi matrix of the involved nonlinear mapping at the solution point of the nonlinear complementarity problem is an H-matrix.  相似文献

本文研究线性和非线性等式约束非线性规划问题的降维算法.首先,利用一般等式约束问题的降维方法,将线性等式约束非线性规划问题转换成一个非线性方程组,解非线性方程组即得其解;然后,对线性和非线性等式约束非线性规划问题用Lagrange乘子法,将非线性约束部分和目标函数构成增广的Lagrange函数,并保留线性等式约束,这样便得到一个线性等式约束非线性规划序列,从而,又将问题转化为求解只含线性等式约束的非线性规划问题.  相似文献

针对随机激励环境,同时引入刚度和阻尼非线性来提高隔振系统的隔振性能.刚度和阻尼非线性分别是由水平弹簧和水平阻尼的几何布置获得.通过求解Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov(FPK)方程等效非线性随机振动方程来研究非线性隔振系统在随机激励下的隔振性能,并使用路径积分和Monte-Carlo数值方法进行验证.在此基础上研究刚度非线性和阻尼非线性对隔振系统在随机激励下力传递率及其概率分布的影响.研究表明随着噪声强度的增加,非线性阻尼抑制振动的能力增强,但是在较小的随机激励下线性阻尼优于非线性阻尼.  相似文献

We consider problems for the nonlinear Boltzmann equation in the framework of two models: a new nonlinear model and the Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook model. The corresponding transformations reduce these problems to nonlinear systems of integral equations. In the framework of the new nonlinear model, we prove the existence of a positive bounded solution of the nonlinear system of integral equations and present examples of functions describing the nonlinearity in this model. The obtained form of the Boltzmann equation in the framework of the Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook model allows analyzing the problem and indicates a method for solving it. We show that there is a qualitative difference between the solutions in the linear and nonlinear cases: the temperature is a bounded function in the nonlinear case, while it increases linearly at infinity in the linear approximation. We establish that in the framework of the new nonlinear model, equations describing the distributions of temperature, concentration, and mean-mass velocity are mutually consistent, which cannot be asserted in the case of the Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook model.  相似文献

We present the theory of breaking waves in nonlinear systems whose dynamics and spatial structure are described by multidimensional nonlinear hyperbolic wave equations. We obtain a general relation between systems of first-order quasilinear equations and nonlinear hyperbolic equations of higher orders, which, in particular, describe electromagnetic waves in a medium with nonlinear polarization of an arbitrary form. We use this approach to construct exact multivalued solutions of such equations and to study their spatial structure and dynamics. The results are generalized to a wide class of multidimensional equations such as d’Alembert equations, nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations, and nonlinear telegraph equations.  相似文献

This paper presents a nonlinear electro-dynamic analysis for a size dependent micro-beam made of materials with nonlinear elasticity by employing the modified couple stress theory based on Euler–Bernoulli beam model. By employing Hamilton's principle, the nonlinear partial differential governing equation is derived then solved by using Galerkin method in the space domain and backward differential method in the time domain to obtain the nonlinear electro-dynamic response and phase portrait of the micro-beam. A parametric study is conducted, with a particular focus on the influences of nonlinear elasticity and size-dependency of the micro-beam on its nonlinear dynamic behavior. Numerical results show that a micro-beam exhibiting nonlinear elastic stress–strain relationship has reduced effective stiffness while the size effect has the opposite effect.  相似文献

Linear subdivision schemes can be adapted in various ways so as to operate in nonlinear geometries such as Lie groups or Riemannian manifolds. It is well known that along with a linear subdivision scheme a multiscale transformation is defined. Such transformations can also be defined in a nonlinear setting. We show the stability of such nonlinear multiscale transforms. To do this we introduce a new kind of proximity condition which bounds the difference of the differential of a nonlinear subdivision scheme and a linear one. It turns out that—unlike the generic nonlinear case and modulo some minor technical assumptions—in the manifold-valued setting, convergence implies stability of the nonlinear subdivision scheme and associated nonlinear multiscale transformations.  相似文献

An analytical approach is developed for areas of nonlinear science such as the nonlinear free vibration of a conservative, two-degree-of-freedom mass–spring system having linear and nonlinear stiffnesses. The main contribution of this research is twofold. First, it introduces the transformation of two nonlinear differential equations for a two-mass system using suitable intermediate variables into a single nonlinear differential equation and, more significantly, the treatment of a nonlinear differential system by linearization coupled with Newton’s method. Secondly, the major section is the solving of the governing nonlinear differential equation where the displacement of the two-mass system can be obtained directly from the linear second-order differential equation using a first-order variational approach. The aforementioned approach proposed by J.H. He, who actually developed the method, is exactly He’s variational method. This approach is an explicit method with high validity for resolving strong nonlinear oscillation system problems. Two examples of nonlinear two-degree-of-freedom mass–spring systems are analyzed, and verified with published results and exact solutions. The method can be easily extended to other nonlinear oscillations and so could be widely applicable in engineering and science.  相似文献

We revisit the time-adiabatic theorem of quantum mechanics and show that it can be extended to weakly nonlinear situations, that is to nonlinear Schrödinger equations in which either the nonlinear coupling constant or, equivalently, the solution is asymptotically small. To this end, a notion of criticality is introduced at which the linear bound states stay adiabatically stable, but nonlinear effects start to show up at leading order in the form of a slowly varying nonlinear phase modulation. In addition, we prove that in the same regime a class of nonlinear bound states also stays adiabatically stable, at least in terms of spectral projections.  相似文献

研究对非平行边界层稳定性有重要影响的非线性演化问题,导出与其相应的抛物化稳定性方程组,发展了求解有限振幅T-S波的非线性演化的高效数值方法。这一数值方法包括预估-校正迭代求解各模态非线性方程并避免模态间的耦合,采用高阶紧致差分格式,满足正规化条件,确定不同模态非线性项表和数值稳定地作空间推进。通过给出T-S波不同的初始幅值,研究其非线性演化。算例与全Navier-Stokes方程的直接数值模拟(DNS)的结果作了比较。  相似文献

We consider the solution of nonlinear programs with nonlinear semidefiniteness constraints. The need for an efficient exploitation of the cone of positive semidefinite matrices makes the solution of such nonlinear semidefinite programs more complicated than the solution of standard nonlinear programs. This paper studies a sequential semidefinite programming (SSP) method, which is a generalization of the well-known sequential quadratic programming method for standard nonlinear programs. We present a sensitivity result for nonlinear semidefinite programs, and then based on this result, we give a self-contained proof of local quadratic convergence of the SSP method. We also describe a class of nonlinear semidefinite programs that arise in passive reduced-order modeling, and we report results of some numerical experiments with the SSP method applied to problems in that class.  相似文献
