This paper concerns the existence and asymptotic characterization of saddle solutions in ${\mathbb {R}^{3}}$ for semilinear elliptic equations of the form $$-\Delta u + W'(u) = 0,\quad (x, y, z) \in {\mathbb {R}^{3}} \qquad\qquad\qquad (0.1)$$ where ${W \in \mathcal{C}^{3}(\mathbb {R})}$ is a double well symmetric potential, i.e. it satisfies W(?s) =  W(s) for ${s \in \mathbb {R},W(s) > 0}$ for ${s \in (-1,1)}$ , ${W(\pm 1) = 0}$ and ${W''(\pm 1) > 0}$ . Denoted with ${\theta_{2}}$ the saddle planar solution of (0.1), we show the existence of a unique solution ${\theta_{3} \in {\mathcal{C}^{2}}(\mathbb {R}^{3})}$ which is odd with respect to each variable, symmetric with respect to the diagonal planes, verifies ${0 < \theta_{3}(x,y,z) < 1}$ for x, y, z >  0 and ${\theta_{3}(x, y, z) \to_{z \to + \infty} \theta_{2}(x, y)}$ uniformly with respect to ${(x, y) \in \mathbb {R}^{2}}$ .  相似文献

Given a vector field ${\mathfrak{a}}$ on ${\mathbb{R}^3}$ , we consider a mapping ${x\mapsto \Pi_{\mathfrak{a}}(x)}$ that assigns to each ${x\in\mathbb{R}^3}$ , a plane ${\Pi_{\mathfrak{a}}(x)}$ containing x, whose normal vector is ${\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ . Associated with this mapping, we define a maximal operator ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ on ${L^1_{loc}(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ for each ${N\gg 1}$ by $$\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_Nf(x)=\sup_{x\in\tau} \frac{1}{|\tau|} \int_{\tau}|f(y)|\,dy$$ where the supremum is taken over all 1/N ×? 1/N?× 1 tubes τ whose axis is embedded in the plane ${\Pi_\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ . We study the behavior of ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ according to various vector fields ${\mathfrak{a}}$ . In particular, we classify the operator norms of ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ on ${L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ when ${\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ is the linear function of the form (a 11 x 1?+?a 21 x 2, a 12 x 1?+?a 22 x 2, 1). The operator norm of ${\mathcal{M}^\mathfrak{a}_N}$ on ${L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ is related with the number given by $$D=(a_{12}+a_{21})^2-4a_{11}a_{22}.$$   相似文献

Let ${{\mathbb H}_n, n \geq 1}$ , be the near 2n-gon defined on the 1-factors of the complete graph on 2n?+?2 vertices, and let e denote the absolutely universal embedding of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ into PG(W), where W is a ${\frac{1}{n+2} \left(\begin{array}{c}2n+2 \\ n+1\end{array}\right)}$ -dimensional vector space over the field ${{\mathbb F}_2}$ with two elements. For every point z of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ and every ${i \in {\mathbb N}}$ , let Δ i (z) denote the set of points of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ at distance i from z. We show that for every pair {x, y} of mutually opposite points of ${{\mathbb H}_n, W}$ can be written as a direct sum ${W_0 \oplus W_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus W_n}$ such that the following four properties hold for every ${i \in \{0,\ldots,n \}}$ : (1) ${\langle e(\Delta_i(x) \cap \Delta_{n-i}(y)) \rangle = {\rm PG}(W_i)}$ ; (2) ${\left\langle e \left( \bigcup_{j \leq i} \Delta_j(x) \right) \right\rangle = {\rm PG}(W_0 \oplus W_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus W_i)}$ ; (3) ${\left\langle e \left( \bigcup_{j \leq i} \Delta_j(y) \right) \right\rangle = {\rm PG}(W_{n-i}\oplus W_{n-i+1} \oplus \cdots \oplus W_n)}$ ; (4) ${\dim(W_i) = |\Delta_i(x) \cap \Delta_{n-i}(y)| = \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i\end{array}\right)^2 - \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i-1\end{array}\right) \cdot \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i+1\end{array}\right)}$ .  相似文献

In this note we prove the following: Let n?≥ 2 be a fixed integer. A system of additive functions ${A_{1},A_{2},\ldots,A_{n}:\mathbb{R} \to\mathbb{R}}$ is linearly dependent (as elements of the ${\mathbb{R}}$ vector space ${\mathbb{R}^{\mathbb{R}}}$ ), if and only if, there exists an indefinite quadratic form ${Q:\mathbb{R}^{n}\to\mathbb{R} }$ such that ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\geq 0}$ or ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\leq 0}$ holds for all ${x\in\mathbb{R}}$ .  相似文献

Let A be an expansive dilation on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ and w a Muckenhoupt ${\mathcal A_\infty(A)}$ weight. In this paper, for all parameters ${\alpha\in{\mathbb R} }$ and ${p,q\in(0,\infty)}$ , the authors identify the dual spaces of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ with some new weighted Besov-type and Triebel?CLizorkin-type spaces. The corresponding results on anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ associated with ${\rho_A}$ -doubling measure??? are also established. All results are new even for the classical weighted Besov and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces in the isotropic setting. In particular, the authors also obtain the ${\varphi}$ -transform characterization of the dual spaces of the classical weighted Hardy spaces on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ .  相似文献

We consider semi-infinite programming problems ${{\rm SIP}(z)}$ depending on a finite dimensional parameter ${z \in \mathbb{R}^p}$ . Provided that ${\bar{x}}$ is a strongly stable stationary point of ${{\rm SIP}(\bar{z})}$ , there exists a locally unique and continuous stationary point mapping ${z \mapsto x(z)}$ . This defines the local critical value function ${\varphi(z) := f(x(z); z)}$ , where ${x \mapsto f(x; z)}$ denotes the objective function of ${{\rm SIP}(z)}$ for a given parameter vector ${z\in \mathbb{R}^p}$ . We show that ${\varphi}$ is the sum of a convex function and a smooth function. In particular, this excludes the appearance of negative kinks in the graph of ${\varphi}$ .  相似文献

We consider regular oblique derivative problem in cylinder Q T ?=????× (0, T), ${\Omega\subset {\mathbb R}^n}$ for uniformly parabolic operator ${{{\mathfrak P}}=D_t- \sum_{i,j=1}^n a^{ij}(x)D_{ij}}$ with VMO principal coefficients. Its unique strong solvability is proved in Manuscr. Math. 203?C220 (2000), when ${{{\mathfrak P}}u\in L^p(Q_T)}$ , ${p\in(1,\infty)}$ . Our aim is to show that the solution belongs to the generalized Sobolev?CMorrey space ${W^{2,1}_{p,\omega}(Q_T)}$ , when ${{{\mathfrak P}}u\in L^{p,\omega} (Q_T)}$ , ${p\in (1, \infty)}$ , ${\omega(x,r):\,{\mathbb R}^{n+1}_+\to {\mathbb R}_+}$ . For this goal an a priori estimate is obtained relying on explicit representation formula for the solution. Analogous result holds also for the Cauchy?CDirichlet problem.  相似文献

Let ${2-\textsf{RAN}}$ be the statement that for each real X a real 2-random relative to X exists. We apply program extraction techniques we developed in Kreuzer and Kohlenbach (J. Symb. Log. 77(3):853–895, 2012. doi:10.2178/jsl/1344862165), Kreuzer (Notre Dame J. Formal Log. 53(2):245–265, 2012. doi:10.1215/00294527-1715716) to this principle. Let ${{\textsf{WKL}_0^\omega}}$ be the finite type extension of ${\textsf{WKL}_0}$ . We obtain that one can extract primitive recursive realizers from proofs in ${{\textsf{WKL}_0^\omega} + \Pi^0_1-{\textsf{CP}} + 2-\textsf{RAN}}$ , i.e., if ${{\textsf{WKL}_0^\omega} + \Pi^0_1-{\textsf{CP}} + 2-\textsf{RAN} \, {\vdash} \, \forall{f}\, {\exists}{x} A_{qf}(f,x)}$ then one can extract from the proof a primitive recursive term t(f) such that ${A_{qf}(f,t(f))}$ . As a consequence, we obtain that ${{\textsf{WKL}_0}+ \Pi^0_1 - {\textsf{CP}} + 2-\textsf{RAN}}$ is ${\Pi^0_3}$ -conservative over ${\textsf{RCA}_0}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, we study solutions of one phase inhomogeneous singular perturbation problems of the type: $ F(D^2u,x)=\beta _{\varepsilon }(u) + f_{\varepsilon }(x) $ and $ \Delta _{p}u=\beta _{\varepsilon }(u) + f_{\varepsilon }(x)$ , where $\beta _{\varepsilon }$ approaches Dirac $\delta _{0}$ as $\varepsilon \rightarrow 0$ and $f_{\varepsilon }$ has a uniform control in $L^{q}, q>N.$ Uniform local Lipschitz regularity is obtained for these solutions. The existence theory for variational (minimizers) and non variational (least supersolutions) solutions for these problems is developed. Uniform linear growth rate with respect to the distance from the $\varepsilon -$ level surfaces are established for these variational and nonvaritional solutions. Finally, letting $\varepsilon \rightarrow 0$ basic properties such as local Lipschitz regularity and non-degeneracy property are proven for the limit and a Hausdorff measure estimate for its free boundary is obtained.  相似文献

Let (M,g) be an n-dimensional, compact Riemannian manifold and ${P_0(\hbar) = -\hbar{^2} \Delta_g + V(x)}$ be a semiclassical Schrödinger operator with ${\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}$ . Let ${E(\hbar) \in [E-o(1),E+o(1)]}$ and ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}}$ be a family of L 2-normalized eigenfunctions of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ with ${P_0(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar} = E(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar}}$ . We consider magnetic deformations of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ of the form ${P_u(\hbar) = - \Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) + V(x)}$ , where ${\Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) = (\hbar d + i \omega_u(x))^*({\hbar}d + i \omega_u(x))}$ . Here, u is a k-dimensional parameter running over ${B^k(\epsilon)}$ (the ball of radius ${\epsilon}$ ), and the family of the magnetic potentials ${(w_u)_{u\in B^k(\epsilon)}}$ satisfies the admissibility condition given in Definition 1.1. This condition implies that kn and is generic under this assumption. Consider the corresponding family of deformations of ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0, \hbar_0]}}$ , given by ${(\phi^u_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in(0, \hbar_0]}}$ , where $$\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}:= {\rm e}^{-it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}\phi_{\hbar}$$ for ${|t_0|\in (0,\epsilon)}$ ; the latter functions are themselves eigenfunctions of the ${\hbar}$ -elliptic operators ${Q_u(\hbar): ={\rm e}^{-it_0P_u(\hbar)/\hbar} P_0(\hbar) {\rm e}^{it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}}$ with eigenvalue ${E(\hbar)}$ and ${Q_0(\hbar) = P_{0}(\hbar)}$ . Our main result, Theorem1.2, states that for ${\epsilon >0 }$ small, there are constants ${C_j=C_j(M,V,\omega,\epsilon) > 0}$ with j = 1,2 such that $$C_{1}\leq \int\limits_{\mathcal{B}^k(\epsilon)} |\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}(x)|^2 \, {\rm d}u \leq C_{2}$$ , uniformly for ${x \in M}$ and ${\hbar \in (0,h_0]}$ . We also give an application to eigenfunction restriction bounds in Theorem 1.3.  相似文献

For real ${L_\infty(\mathbb{R})}$ -functions ${\Phi}$ and ${\Psi}$ of compact support, we prove the norm resolvent convergence, as ${\varepsilon}$ and ${\nu}$ tend to 0, of a family ${S_{\varepsilon \nu}}$ of one-dimensional Schrödinger operators on the line of the form $$S_{\varepsilon \nu} = -\frac{d^2}{dx^2} + \frac{\alpha}{\varepsilon^2} \Phi \left( \frac{x}{\varepsilon} \right) + \frac{\beta}{\nu} \Psi \left(\frac{x}{\nu} \right),$$ provided the ratio ${\nu/\varepsilon}$ has a finite or infinite limit. The limit operator S 0 depends on the shape of ${\Phi}$ and ${\Psi}$ as well as on the limit of ratio ${\nu/\varepsilon}$ . If the potential ${\alpha\Phi}$ possesses a zero-energy resonance, then S 0 describes a non trivial point interaction at the origin. Otherwise S 0 is the direct sum of the Dirichlet half-line Schrödinger operators.  相似文献

Let X be an ANR (absolute neighborhood retract), ${\Lambda}$ a k-dimensional topological manifold with topological orientation ${\eta}$ , and ${f : D \rightarrow X}$ a locally compact map, where D is an open subset of ${X \times \Lambda}$ . We define Fix(f) as the set of points ${{(x, \lambda) \in D}}$ such that ${x = f(x, \lambda)}$ . For an open pair (U, V) in ${X \times \Lambda}$ such that ${{\rm Fix}(f) \cap U \backslash V}$ is compact we construct a homomorphism ${\Sigma_{(f,U,V)} : H^{k}(U, V ) \rightarrow R}$ in the singular cohomologies H* over a ring-with-unit R, in such a way that the properties of Solvability, Excision and Naturality, Homotopy Invariance, Additivity, Multiplicativity, Normalization, Orientation Invariance, Commutativity, Contraction, Topological Invariance, and Ring Naturality hold. In the case of a ${C^{\infty}}$ -manifold ${\Lambda}$ , these properties uniquely determine ${\Sigma}$ . By passing to the direct limit of ${\Sigma_{(f,U,V)}}$ with respect to the pairs (U, V) such that ${K = {\rm Fix}(f) \cap U \backslash V}$ , we define a homomorphism ${\sigma_{(f,K)} : {H}_{k}({\rm Fix}(f), Fix(f) \backslash K) \rightarrow R}$ in the ?ech cohomologies. Properties of ${\Sigma}$ and ${\sigma}$ are equivalent each to the other. We indicate how the homomorphisms generalize the fixed point index.  相似文献

Let φ be a primitive Maass cusp form and t φ (n) be its nth Fourier coefficient at the cusp infinity. In this short note, we are interested in the estimation of the sums ${\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n)}$ and ${\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n^2)}$ . We are able to improve the previous results by showing that for any ${\varepsilon > 0}$ $$\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n) \ll\, _{\varphi, \varepsilon} x^{\frac{1027}{2827} + \varepsilon} \quad {and}\quad\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n^2) \ll\,_{\varphi, \varepsilon} x^{\frac{489}{861} + \varepsilon}.$$   相似文献

Consider the real Clifford algebra ${\mathbb{R}_{0,n}}$ generated by e 1, e 2, . . . , e n satisfying ${e_{i}e_{j} + e_{j}e_{i} = -2\delta_{ij} , i, j = 1, 2, . . . , n, e_{0}}$ is the unit element. Let ${\Omega}$ be an open set in ${\mathbb{R}^{n+1}}$ . u(x) is called an h-regular function in ${\Omega}$ if $$D_{x}u(x) + \widehat{u}(x)h = 0, \quad\quad (0.1)$$ where ${D_x = \sum\limits_{i=0}^{n} e_{i}\partial_{xi}}$ is the Dirac operator in ${\mathbb{R}^{n+1}}$ , and ${\widehat{u}(x) = \sum \limits_{A} (-1)^{\#A}u_{A}(x)e_{A}, \#A}$ denotes the cardinality of A and ${h = \sum\limits_{k=0}^{n} h_{k}e_{k}}$ is a constant paravector. In this paper, we mainly consider the Hilbert boundary value problem (BVP) for h-regular functions in ${\mathbb{R}_{+}^{n+1}}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\nu_{d} : \mathbb{P}^{r} \rightarrow \mathbb{P}^{N}, N := \left( \begin{array}{ll} r + d \\ \,\,\,\,\,\, r \end{array} \right)- 1,}$ denote the degree d Veronese embedding of ${\mathbb{P}^{r}}$ . For any ${P\, \in \, \mathbb{P}^{N}}$ , the symmetric tensor rank sr(P) is the minimal cardinality of a set ${\mathcal{S} \subset \nu_{d}(\mathbb{P}^{r})}$ spanning P. Let ${\mathcal{S}(P)}$ be the set of all ${A \subset \mathbb{P}^{r}}$ such that ${\nu_{d}(A)}$ computes sr(P). Here we classify all ${P \,\in\, \mathbb{P}^{n}}$ such that sr(P) <  3d/2 and sr(P) is computed by at least two subsets of ${\nu_{d}(\mathbb{P}^{r})}$ . Let ${K=\mathbb{Q}(\theta)}$ be an algebraic number field with θ in the ring A K of algebraic integers of K and f(x) be the minimal polynomial of θ over the field ${\mathbb{Q}}$ of rational numbers. For a rational prime p, let ${\bar{f}(x)\,=\,\bar{g}_{1}(x)^{e_{1}}....\bar{g}_{r}(x)^{e_{r}}}$ be the factorization of the polynomial ${\bar{f}(x)}$ obtained by reducing coefficients of f(x) modulo p into a product of powers of distinct irreducible polynomials over ${\mathbb{Z}/p\mathbb{Z}}$ with g i (x) monic. Dedekind proved that if p does not divide [ ${A_{K}:\mathbb{Z}}$ [θ]], then ${pA_{K}=\wp_{1}^{e_{1}}\ldots\wp_{r}^{e_{r}}}$ , where ${\wp_{1},\ldots,\wp_{r}}$ are distinct prime ideals of A K , ${\wp_{i}=pA_{K}+g_{i}(\theta)A_{K}}$ having residual degree equal to the degree of ${\bar{g}_{i}(x)}$ . He also proved that p does not divide [ ${A_{K}:\mathbb{Z}}$ [θ]] if and only if for each i, either e i  = 1 or ${\bar{g}_{i}(x)}$ does not divide ${\bar{M}(x)}$ where ${M(x)=\frac{1}{p}(f(x)-g_{1}(x)^{e_{1}}....g_{r}(x)^{e_{r}})}$ . Our aim is to give a weaker condition than the one given by Dedekind which ensures that if the polynomial ${\bar{f}(x)}$ factors as above over ${\mathbb{Z}/p\mathbb{Z}}$ , then there are exactly r prime ideals of A K lying over p, with respective residual degrees ${\deg \bar {g}_{1}(x),...,\deg \bar {g}_{r}(x)}$ and ramification indices e 1, ..., e r . In this paper, the above problem has been dealt with in a more general situation when the base field is a valued field (K, v) of arbitrary rank and K(θ) is any finite extension of K.  相似文献
