Two mononuclear and one dinuclear copper(II) complexes, containing neutral tetradentate NSSN type ligands, of formulation [CuII(L1)Cl]ClO4 (1), [CuII(L2)Cl]ClO4 (2) and [CuII2(L3)2Cl2](ClO4)2 (3) were synthesized and isolated in pure form [where L1 = 1,2-bis(2-pyridylmethylthio)ethane, L2 = 1,3-bis(2-pyridylmethylthio)propane and L3 = 1,4-bis(2-pyridylmethylthio)butane]. All these green colored copper(II) complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The dinuclear copper(II) complex 3 changed to a colorless dinuclear copper(I) species of formula [CuI2(L3)2](ClO4)2,0.5H2O (4) in dimethylformamide even in the presence of air at ambient temperature, while complexes 1 and 2 showed no change under similar conditions. The solid-state structures of complexes 1, 2 and 4 were established by X-ray crystallography. The geometry about the copper in complexes 1 and 2 is trigonal bipyramidal whereas the coordination environment about the copper(I) in dinuclear complex 4 is distorted tetrahedral.  相似文献

On reaction of different copper(II) salts with 3,4-bis(2-pyridylmethylthio)toluene (L) having neutral tetradentate NSSN donor set in different chemical environments, two mononuclear copper(II), one dinuclear copper(I) and one dinuclear copper(II) complexes, formulated as [CuII(L)(H2O)2](NO3)2 (1), [CuII(pic)2] (2), [CuI2(L)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [CuII2(L)2Cl2](ClO4)2 (4), respectively, were isolated in pure form [where pic = picolinate]. All the complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The product of the reactions are dependent on the counter anion of copper(II) salts used as reactant and on the reaction medium. Complexes 1 and 4 were obtained with nitrate and perchlorate copper(II) salts, respectively. On the other hand, C–S bond cleavage was observed in the reaction of L with copper(II) chloride to form in situ picolinic acid and complex 2. Dinuclear complexes 3 and 4 were separated out when copper(II) perchlorate was allowed to react with L in methanol and in acetonitrile, respectively, under aerobic condition. The X-ray diffraction analysis of the dinuclear complex 3 shows a highly distorted tetrahedral geometry about each copper ion. Complex 4 is converted to 3 in acetonitrile in presence of catechol. The spectral study of complex 4 with calf thymus DNA is indicative of a groove binding mode interaction.  相似文献

Dicarbonyl[η5-2,3,4,5-tetramethyl-1-(8-quinolyl)cyclopentadienyl]rhodium(I) (1) was prepared by the reaction of [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 with 2,3,4,5-tetramethyl-1-(8-quinolyl)cyclopentadienyl-potassium. Irradiation of 1 in chloroform or dichloromethane as solvent leads to the formation of dichloro[η5-2,3,4,5-tetramethyl-1-(8-quinolyl)cyclopentadienyl]rhodium(III) (2). When Rh6(CO)16 is present, the cluster adds to the 8-quinolyl-cp-rhodium fragment and the compound [η5-2,3,4,5-tetramethyl-1-(8-quinolyl)cyclopentadienyl]rhodium-di-μ-carbonyl-hexarhodiumtetradecacarbonyl (3) is formed in 65% yield. The coordination sphere of the rhodium(III) atom in compound 2 and of the rhodium(I) atom in 3 is completed by a coordination of the quinolyl moiety. This was revealed by NMR spectroscopy as well as by X-ray analyses.  相似文献

The flexible ditopic ligand 1,2-bis(3-(4-pyridyl)pyrazol-1-yl)ethane (L4Et) displays remarkable versatility in the complexes that it forms with transition metals with products ranging from 1D chains to interpenetrating 3D networks. The L4Et ligand itself crystallises in the space group P21, adopting a helical twist, although it is found in a variety of other conformations in its complexes. Coordination polymers containing the L4Et ligand vary from almost straight, parallel 1D chains of [Ag2(L4Et)2(ClO4)2(DMF)]·DMF (1), through interdigitating helical complexes containing tetrahedral Zn(II), [Zn(NCS)2(L4Et)]·DMF·H2O (2) to 2D sheets of [Cu(L4Et)2(H2O)2](PF6)2·xH2O (3) and the three-fold interpenetrating 3D network of [Co(L4Et)2(NCS)2] (4). The 3D network adopts an unusual 3D 4-connected dmp (65.8) topology. Dimensionality can be limited by the use of chelating co-ligands, demonstrated by the formation of the dinuclear complex [{Cu(py-2,6-CO2)(H2O)}2(L4Et)] (5).  相似文献

The treatment of optically P-chiral tetraphosphine, (3S,6R,9R,12S)-6,9-di-tert-butyl-2,2,3,12,13,13-hexamethyl-3,6,9,12-tetraphosphatetradecane (1), with rhodium(I), palladium(II), and ruthenium(II) complex precursors led to the selective formation of mono-, di-, or trinuclear homo- or heterometallic complexes, [Rh(1)]SbF6 (4), [{Rh(nbd)}2(1)](SbF6)2 (3), [{Pd(η3-allyl)}2(1)](SbF6)2 (5), [{RuCl(η5-C5(CH3)5)}2(1)] (6), and [{RuCl26-benzene)}2(PdCl2)(1)] (8). These complexes were characterized by NMR and X-ray crystallographic analysis.  相似文献

An unsymmetric bidentate ligand (3-methyl-2-pyridyl)diphenylphosphane (P(Mepy)Ph2) is able to react with various tetranuclear transition metal clusters such as HRuCo3(CO)12, HRuRh3(CO)12 and Rh4(CO)12. The synthesis and crystal structures of HRuCo3(CO)10(P(Mepy)Ph2) (1), HRuRh3(CO)10(P(Mepy)Ph2) (2), RuRh2(CO)9(P(Mepy)Ph) (3) and Rh6(CO)14(P(Mepy)Ph2) (4) are described. In 1, 2 and 4 the phosphane ligand replaces the carbonyls and acts as a bridging bidentate P-N group. The formation of 3 includes degradation of both the metal cluster core and the ligand itself. One of the P-C bonds in the ligand is cleaved and the ligand caps a metal triangle with a bridging phosphido group together with the nitrogen donor. The reaction between dinuclear Rh2(CO)4Cl2 and P(Mepy)Ph2 gives a binuclear Rh2(μ-CO)Cl2(P(Mepy)Ph2)2 (5) with bridging ligands in a head-to-tail arrangement. The crystal structure is also given.  相似文献

The 1,5-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3-thiapentane ligand (bdtp) reacts with [Rh(COD)(THF)2][BF4] to give [Rh(COD)(bdtp)][BF4] ([1][BF4]), which is fluxional in solution on the NMR time scale. Its further treatment with carbon monoxide leads to a displacement of the 1,5-cyclooctadiene ligand, generating a mixture of two complexes, namely, [Rh(CO)2(bdtp)][BF4] ([2][BF4]) and [Rh(CO)(bdtp3N,N,S)][BF4] ([3][BF4]). In solution, [2][BF4] exists as a mixture of two isomers, [Rh(CO)2(bdtp2N,N)]+ ([2a]+) and [Rh(CO)2(bdtp3N,N,S)]+ ([2b]+; major isomer) rapidly interconverting on the NMR time scale. At room temperature, [2][BF4] easily loses one molecule of carbon monoxide to give [3][BF4]. The latter is prone to react with carbon monoxide to partially regenerate [2][BF4]. The ligands 1,2-bis[3-(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-2-thiapropyl]benzene (bddf) and 1,8-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3,6-dithiaoctane (bddo) are seen to react with two equivalents of [Rh(COD)(THF)2][BF4] to give the dinuclear complexes [Rh2(bddf)(COD)2][BF4]2 ([4][BF4]2) and [Rh2(bddo)(COD)2][BF4]2 ([5][BF4]2), respectively. In such complexes, the ligand acts as a double pincer holding two rhodium atoms through a chelation involving S and N donor atoms. Bubbling carbon monoxide into a solution of [4][BF4]2 results in loss of the COD ligand and carbonylation to give [Rh2(bddf)(CO)4][BF4]2 ([6][BF4]2). The single-crystal X-ray structures of [3][CF3SO3], [5][BF4]2 and [6][BF4]2 are reported.  相似文献

Trans-[RuPy4(CN)2 cleaves chloro-rhodium bridges in rhodium(I) binuclear complexes, [Rh(CO)2Cl]2, [Rh(Cod)Cl]2, and [(Cod)RhCl2Rh(CO)2] yielding heterometallic triad complexes, [(CO)2ClRh(NC)RuPy4(CN)RhCl(CO)2] (I), [(Cod)ClRh(NC)RuPy4(CN)RhCl(Cod)] (II), and [(Cod)ClRh(NC)RuPy4(CN)RhCl(CO)2] (III), respectively. In solutions, III coexists with equilibrium amounts of I and II in the near-binomial proportions. Under action of [Rh(CO)2Cl]2, II transforms into I with parallel formation of [Rh(Cod)Cl]2. Ligand effect transmission along the L-Rh-NC-Ru-CN-Rh-L′ chain is studied by 1H and 13C NMR. Chemical shifts δ1H and δ13C of Ru-bound Py ligands are sensitive to the nature of Rh-bound ligands. Values of δ1H and δ13C of Cod and 13C of CO ligands are sensitive to the ligands at the remote end of the L-Rh-NC-Ru-CN-Rh-L′ chain. Reaction of trans-[RuPy4(CN)2] with Rh2(OAc)4 yields an apparently linear polymer [-Rh(OAc)4Rh-NCRuPy4CN-]. Upon action of [Rh(CO)2Cl]2, the polymer decomposes yielding I and Rh2(OAc)4. X-ray structure data for I are given.  相似文献

In this study, the synthesis, spectroscopic, catalytic, and electrochemical properties of salicylaldimine Schiff-base ligands (Ln) and their dinuclear Pd(II) complexes for L1 and L2 ligands with mononuclear Pd(II) complexes for L3 and L4 ligands were investigated. The ligands and their mono- or dinuclear Pd(II) complexes were characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H NMR and elemental analysis, as well as through magnetic susceptibility and spectroelectrochemical techniques. The catalytic studies showed that the introduction of tert butyl groups on the salicyl ring of the molecules increased the catalytic activity towards hydrogenation of nitrobenzene and cyclohexene in DMF at 25 and 45 °C. It was also observed that the steric hindered mono- and dinuclear Pd(II) complexes were thermally stable complexes and were not sensitive to air or the moisture. The complexes were easily prepared from cheap materials that could be used as versatile and efficient catalysts for different C-C coupling reactions (Suzuki-Miyaura reactions).  相似文献

Two triphenylphosphine derivatives, diethyl [4-(diphenylphosphanyl)benzyl]phosphonate (3a) and tetraethyl {[5-(diphenylphosphanyl)-1,3-phenylene]dimethylene}bis(phosphonate) (3b), and also the corresponding free acids 4a and 4b were prepared. These ligands were characterized by 1H, 13C and 31P NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. A full set of their Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes of the general formula [MCl2L2] and one dinuclear complex trans-[Pd2Cl4(3a)2] were synthesized and their isomerization behaviour in solution was studied. The complexes were characterized by 1H, 13C, 31P and 195Pt NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and far-IR spectroscopy. The X-ray structures of all complexes with 3a or 3b have usual slightly distorted square-planar geometry on the metal ion. Salts of phosphonic acids 4a and 4b and their complexes are freely soluble in aqueous solution; therefore, they can be potentially useful in aqueous or biphasic catalysis.  相似文献

The molecular and crystal structures of the following compounds 2-styryl-1,3-benzothiazole, sb, (1), Hg2Cl4(sb)3 (2), 1,3-bis(1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl)-2,4-diphenylcyclobutane (3) 1,3-bis(1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl)-2,4-bis(4-chlorophenyl)cyclobutane (4) and HgBr2(sb)2 (5) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. The crystal structure of 1 consists of discrete sb molecules which are essentially planar. The dimeric molecules of 3 and 4 are characterized by a cyclobutane ring. In both isolated complexes 2 and 5, sb acts as a neutral monodentate ligand coordinated to the mercury atom through the thiazolyl nitrogen atom. The dinuclear complex 2 is characterized by the unique example of two differently coordinated Hg(II) ions bridged via a non-symmetrical linear Cl bridge. The first one is coordinated by one terminal and one bridging Cl ion and two thiazolyl nitrogen atoms in the form of distorted tetrahedron. The second one is bonded to two terminal Cl ions and the bridging Cl ion and one thiazolyl nitrogen atom in a 2+2 manner. In complex 5 the Hg(II) ion, which is situated on a crystallographic twofold axis, is tetrahedrally coordinated by two Br ions and two thiazolyl nitrogen atoms. Both complexes are characterized by stronger mercury-to-halide covalent bonds than mercury-to-nitrogen bonds, which are regarded as contacts shorter than the van der Waals radii sum of the corresponding atoms. The geometry of the sb ligand in both complexes 2 and 5 has not been changed remarkably from that one in the uncoordinated state due to not so strong bonds formation with the Hg(II) ion.  相似文献

The oxidative addition of CH3I to planar rhodium(I) complex [Rh(TFA)(PPh3)2] in acetonitrile (TFA is trifluoroacetylacetonate) leads to the formation of cationic, cis-[Rh(TFA)(PPh3)2(CH3)(CH3CN)][BPh4] (1), or neutral, cis-[Rh(TFA)(PPh3)2(CH3)(I)] (4), rhodium(III) methyl complexes depending on the reaction conditions. 1 reacts readily with NH3 and pyridine to form cationic complexes, cis-[Rh(TFA)(PPh3)2(CH3)(NH3)][BPh4] (2) and cis-[Rh(TFA)(PPh3)2(CH3)(Py)][BPh4] (3), respectively. Acetylacetonate methyl complex of rhodium(III), cis-[Rh(Acac)(PPh3)2(CH3)(I)] (5), was obtained by the action of NaI on cis-[Rh(Acac)(PPh3)2(CH3)(CH3CN)][BPh4] in acetone at −15 °C. Complexes 1-5 were characterized by elemental analysis, 31P{1H}, 1H and 19F NMR. For complexes 2, 3, 4 conductivity data in acetone solutions are reported. The crystal structures of 2 and 3 were determined. NMR parameters of 1-5 and related complexes are discussed from the viewpoint of their isomerism.  相似文献

Four molybdenum(VI) thiosemicarbazonato complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The dinuclear complexes [(MoO2L1)2] (1) and [(MoO2L2)2] (3) have been prepared by the reaction of [MoO2(acac)2] with 2-hydroxyacetophenone N(4)-cyclohexyl (H2L1) and N(4)-phenyl (H2L2) thiosemicarbazones in alcoholic medium. Mononuclear dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes of the type [MoO2L1py] (2) and [MoO2L2py] (4) have been prepared by the reaction of 1 or 3 with pyridine (py) in alcoholic medium. In all the complexes, molybdenum is coordinated by two terminal oxo-oxygen atoms, (Ot), oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur atoms from the principal ligand and by an oxygen atom from the second unit in 1, and by a nitrogen atom from pyridine in complexes 2 and 4. All complexes have been spectroscopically characterized. The molecular structures of complexes 1, 2 and 4 have been determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction method.  相似文献

PN ligands 3 and 4, derived from 2-diphenylphosphanylmethylpyridine 2a, were synthesized, to which in the backbone a tether to a cyclopentadiene system and for comparison an iPr substituent were attached. The chiral compounds were resolved by introduction of a menthoxy substituent into the 2-position of the pyridine system and/or palladium complexes with enantiomerically pure co-ligands. The tripod ligand 3b contains three different binding sites (Cp, P, N) connected by a resolved chiral carbon atom. (SC)-configuration of this tripod ligand enforces (RRh)-configuration at the metal atom in the halfsandwich rhodium complex (LMent,SC,RRh)-7b. The opposite metal configuration is inaccessible. Substitution of the chloro ligand in (LMent,SC,RRh)-7b by halide (Br, I) or pseudohalide (N3, CN, SCN) ligands occurs with retention of configuration to give complexes 8b-11b. However, in the reaction of (LMent,SC,RRh)-7b with PPh3 the pyridine arm of the tripod ligand in compound 13b becomes detached from the metal atom. In the Cp*Rh and CpRh compounds of the bidentate PN ligands 4a and 4b both metal configurations are accessible and in complexes 14a-17a and 14b-17b they equilibrate fast. The stereochemical assignments are corroborated by 9 X-ray analyses.  相似文献

Reaction of the iridium tetracarbonylate [PPN][Ir(CO)4] (1a) with triphenylcyclopropenyl tetrafluoroborate [C3Ph3][BF4] afforded two dinuclear species Ir2(CO)4(μ,η12-C3Ph3)(μ,η23-C3Ph3) (2) and Ir2(CO)4(μ,η44-C6Ph6) (3a) resulting from the ring opening and in the latter case, coupling of the resulting acyclic, propenyl ligands. The analogous reaction with [PPN][Rh(CO)4] (1b) afforded only the rhodium analogue for 3a.  相似文献

A series of mono-cationic dinuclear half sandwich ruthenium, rhodium and iridium metal complexes have been synthesized using ((pyridin-2-yl)methylimino)nicotinamide (L1) and ((picolinamido)phenyl)picolinamide (L2) ligands: [(η6-arene)2Ru2(μ-L1)Cl3]+ (arene = C6H6, 1; p-iPrC6H4Me, 2; C6Me6, 3), [(η5-C5Me5)2M2(μ-L1)Cl3]+ (M = Rh, 4; Ir, 5), and [(η6-arene)2Ru2(μ-L2)(μ-Cl)]+ (arene = C6H6, 6; p-iPrC6H4Me, 7; C6Me6, 8), [(η5-C5Me5)2M2(μ-L2)Cl2]+ (M = Rh, 9; Ir, 10). All the complexes have been isolated as their hexafluorophosphate salts and fully characterized by use of a combination of NMR and IR spectroscopy. The solid state structure of three representatives 4, 6 and 9 has been determined by X-ray crystallographic studies. Interestingly, in the molecular structure of 4, the first metal is bonded to two nitrogen atoms whereas the second metal center is coordinated to only one nitrogen atom with two terminal chloride ligands. Fascinatingly in the case of the complexes with the symmetrical ligand L2, both ruthenium centers having η6-arene groups are bonded to nitrogen atoms with a bridging chloride atom between the two metal centers, whereas the metals with η5-Cp∗ groups are bonded to the ligand N,O and N,N fashion.  相似文献

Mononuclear complexes of the type, M(CO)4[Se2P(OR)2] (M = Mn, R = iPr, 1a; Et, 1b; M = Re, R = iPr, 3a; Et, 3b) can be prepared from either [-Se(Se)P(OiPr)2]2 (A) or [Se{-Se(Se)P(OEt)2}2] (B) with M(CO)5Br. O,O′-dialkyl diselenophosphate ([(RO)2PSe2]-, abbreviated as dsep) ligands generated from A and B act as a chelating ligand in these complexes. Upon refluxing in acetonitrile, these mononuclear complexes yield dinuclear complexes with a general formula of [M2(CO)6{Se2P(OR)2}2] (M = Mn, R = iPr, 2a; Et, 2b; M = Re, R = iPr, 4a; Et, 4b). Dsep ligands display a triconnective, bimetallic bonding mode in the dinuclear compounds and this kind of connective pattern has never been identified in any phosphor-1,1-diselenoato metal complexes. Compounds 2b, 3b, and 4 are structurally characterized. Compounds 2b and 3b display weak, secondary Se?Se interactions in their lattices.  相似文献

Reaction of the sterically bulky 1,3-dibenzhydrylbenzimidazolium bromide (Bh2-bimyH+Br) (A) with Pd(OAc)2 in DMSO yielded a mono(carbene) Pd(II) complex 1 with a N-bound benzimidazole derivative, which resulted from an unusual NHC rearrangement reaction. Reaction of A with Ag2O, on the other hand, cleanly gave the Ag(I) carbene complex [AgBr(Bh2-bimy)] (2), which has been used as a carbene-transfer agent to prepare the acetonitrile complex trans-[PdBr2(CH3CN)(Bh2-bimy)] (3). Dissociation of acetonitrile from complex 3 and subsequent dimerization afforded the dinuclear Pd(II) complex [PdBr2(Bh2-bimy)]2 (4) in quantitative yield. All complexes were fully characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopies, ESI mass spectrometry and X-ray diffraction analysis. Furthermore, the catalytic activity of complex 4 in aqueous Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions was studied and compared with that of its previously reported less bulky analogue [PdBr2(iPr2-bimy)]2.  相似文献

Binuclear Rh(II) compounds [Rh2(μ-OOCCH3)2(dbbpy)2(H2O)2](CH3COO)2 (1) (dbbpy = 4,4′-di-tert-butyl-2,2′-bipyridine), [Rh2(μ-OOCCH3)2(dbbpy)2(H2O)2](BF4)2·H2O·CH3CN (2), [Rh2(CH3COO)2(C18H24N2)2(CH3CN)2](BF4)2·4CH3CN (3) and {[Rh2(μ-OOCCH3)2(dbbpy)2][BF4]}n (4) have been synthesized and characterized with spectroscopic methods. Structure of complex 3 has been determined using X-ray crystallography. Rhodium atoms in compound 3 have distorted octahedral coordination with O and N atoms in equatorial positions and Rh atom and CH3CN molecule in axial coordination sites. Reduction of rhodium(II) compounds with aqueous 2-propanol leads to the formation of polymetallic compound {[Rh2(μ-OOCCH3)2(dbbpy)2][BF4]}n (4) containing [Rh2]3+ core. Compound 4 shows strong antiferromagnetic properties, μ = 0.18–1.73 M.B. in the range 1.8–300 K, J = −597 cm−1. Electrochemistry of compounds 3 and 4 in CH3CN has been investigated. Compound 4 exhibits a poorly reversible oxidation system at E1/2 = −0.92 V (ΔEp = 0.19 V) and in solution in DMF is slowly oxidized to 3 even in total absence of oxygen. Complex 3 is irreversibly oxidized to Rh(III) compound at Epa = 1.48 V and irreversibly reduced at Epc = −1.02 V to lead to the unstable polynuclear complex 4 in CH3CN.  相似文献

The reaction between 1,2-bis[3-(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-2-thiapropyl]benzene (bddf) and [MCl2(CH3CN)2] (M = Pd(II), Pt(II)) in a 1:1 M/L ratio in CH2Cl2 or acetonitrile solution, respectively, gave the complexes trans-[MCl2(bddf)] (M = Pd(II) (1), Pt(II) (4)), and in a 2:1 M/L ratio led to [M2Cl4(bddf)] (M = Pd(II) (2), Pt(II) (5)). Treatment of 1 and 4 with AgBF4 and NaBPh4, respectively, gave the compounds [Pd(bddf)](BF4)2 (3) and [Pt(bddf)](BPh4)2 (6). When complexes 3 and 6 were heated under reflux in a solution of Et4NBr in CH2Cl2/CH3OH (1:1) for 24 h, analogous complexes to 1 and 4 with bromides instead of chlorides bonded to the metallic centre were obtained. These complexes were characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, infrared, 1H, 1H{195Pt}, 13C{1H}, 195Pt{1H} NMR, HSQC and NOESY spectroscopies. The X-ray crystal structure of the complex [Pd(bddf)](BF4)2 · H2O has been determined. The metal atom is tetracoordinated by the two azine nitrogen atoms of the pyrazole rings and two thioether groups.  相似文献
