Reaction of the ligand C6H5N(H)NCMe(C5H4N) (a) with palladium(II) acetate in toluene gave the mononuclear cyclometallated complex [Pd{C6H4N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)}(AcO)] (1a). Reaction of 1a with sodium chloride gave the analogous chlorine compound [Pd{C6H4N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)}(Cl)] (3a) which could also be prepared by reaction of a with lithium tetrachloropalladate and sodium acetate in methanol for 48 h; whereas shorter reaction times afforded the non-cyclometallated complex [Pd{C6H5N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)}(Cl)2] (2a). Reaction of the ligand 2-ClC6H4N(H)NCMe(C5H4N) · HCl (b), with palladium(II) acetate, or with lithium tetrachloropalladate and sodium acetate, yielded the cyclometallated complex [Pd2-ClC6H3N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)(Cl)] (1b). Treatment of 3a and 1b with silver trifluoromethanesulphonate (triflate) and triphenylphosphine in acetone gave the mononuclear complexes [Pd{2-RC6HnN(H)NCMe(C5H4N)}(PPh3)][CF3SO3], (R = H, n = 4, 4a; R = Cl, n = 3, 2b) with the ligand as C,N,N′ terdentate and substitution of chlorine by triphenylphosphine. Reaction of 3a and 1b with silver triflate and the tertiary diphosphine Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2 (dppb) in a 2:1 molar ratio gave the dinuclear cyclometallated complexes [{Pd[2-RC6H3N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)]}2(μ-Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2)][CF3SO3]2 (R = H, 5a; R = Cl, 3b) with a μ2-diphosphine bridging ligand. Similarly, treatment of 3a and 1b with silver triflate and the tertiary triphosphines MeC(CH2PPh2)3 (tripod) and (Ph2PCH2CH2)2PPh (triphos), in 3:1 molar ratio, gave the novel trinuclear complexes [{Pd[C6H4N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)]}33-MeC(CH2Ph2)3}][CF3SO3]3 (6a) and [{Pd[2-ClC6H3N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)]}33-(PPh2CH2CH2)2PPh}][CF3SO3] 3 (4b) regioselectively, with the phosphine as a μ3-bridging ligand. When the reaction between 3a and triphos was carried out in 1:1 molar ratio the mononuclear complex [Pd{C6H4N(H)NCMe(C5H4N)}{(PPh2CH2CH2)2PPh-P,P,P}][ClO4] (7a) was obtained. The crystal structures of 2b, 3a and 4a have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The reaction of [Pt2Me4(μ-SMe2)2] with ligands 4-C6H5C6H4CHNCH2CH2NMe2 (1a) and 2-C6H5C6H4CHNCH2CH2NMe2 (1b) carried out in acetone at room temperature produced compounds [PtMe2{4-C6H5C6H4CHNCH2CH2NMe2}] (2a) and [PtMe2{2-C6H5C6H4CHNCH2CH2NMe2}] (2b), respectively, in which the imines act as bidentate [N,N′] ligands. Cyclometallated [C,N,N′] compounds [PtMe{4-C6H5C6H3CHNCH2CH2NMe2}] (3a) and [PtMe{2-C6H5C6H3CHNCH2CH2NMe2}] (3b), were obtained by refluxing toluene solutions of compounds 2a or 2b. Reaction of [Pt2Me4(μ-SMe2)2] with ligands 4-C6H5C6H4CHNCH2Ph (1c) and 2-C6H5C6H4CHNCH2Ph (1d) produced compounds [PtMe{4-C6H5C6H3CHNCH2Ph}SMe2] (5c) and [PtMe{2-C6H5C6H3CHNCH2Ph}SMe2] (5d) containing a [C,N] ligand, from which triphenylphosphine derivatives 6c and 6d were also prepared. In all cases, metallation took place to yield five-membered endo-metallacycles and formation of seven-membered or of exo-metallacycles was not observed. The reactions of 3a, 3b, 6c and 6d with methyl iodide were studied in acetone and gave the corresponding cyclometallated platinum (IV) compounds. All compounds were characterised by NMR spectroscopy and compounds 3b, 4a, 6c and 6d were also characterised crystallographically.  相似文献

Ortho-metallated ruthenium(III) complexes with Schiff bases (H2L) derived from one mole equivalent each of benzaldehyde and acid hydrazides are described. Reactions of H2L with [Ru(PPh3)3Cl2] in presence of NEt3 (1:1:2 mole ratio) under aerobic conditions in methanol provide the complexes having the general formula trans-[Ru(L)(PPh3)2Cl] in 55-60% yields. The complexes have been characterized with the help of elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, electrochemical and various spectroscopic (infrared, electronic and EPR) measurements. The +3 oxidation state of the metal centre in these complexes is confirmed by their one-electron paramagnetic nature. Molecular structures of two representative complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallography. In each complex, the metal ion is in a distorted octahedral CNOClP2 coordination sphere. The dianionic C,N,O-donor ligand (L2−) together with the chloride form a CNOCl square-plane and the P-atoms of the two PPh3 molecules occupy the two axial sites. The electronic spectra of the complexes in dichloromethane solutions display several absorptions due to ligand-to-metal charge transfer and ligand centred transitions. In dichloromethane solutions, the complexes display a ruthenium(III) → ruthenium(IV) oxidation in the potential range 0.35-0.98 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). All the complexes in frozen (110 K) dichloromethane-toluene (1:1) solutions display rhombic EPR spectra.  相似文献

Schiff bases of 1′-hydroxy-2′-acetonaphthone (HAN) containing chalcogen functionalities, 1-HO-C10H6-2-CH3)CN-(CH2)nEC6H4-4-R (R = H or OMe; n = 2 or 3; E = S (L1-L2), Se (L3-L4) or Te (L5-L6)) have been synthesized in yield 90-95%. They show characteristic 1H, 13C{1H} 77Se{1H} and 125Te{1H} (in case of selenated and tellurated species, respectively) NMR spectra. Their complexation with Pd(II), Pt(II), Hg(II) and (p-cymene)Ru(II) has been explored. The single-crystal structures of ligands L1, L3 and L6 and complexes of Pd(II) with L1, L2, L3 and L5 have been determined. The geometry of Pd is close to square planar in all the complexes and the ligands coordinate in a uni-negative tridentate mode. The Pd-N bond lengths are in the range 1.996(7)-2.019(5) ?. The Pd-Se bond distance is 2.3600(5) ? whereas Pd-Te is 2.5025(7) ?. The Pd(II) complexes of L1-L5 have been found promising as homogeneous catalyst for Heck and Suzuki reactions. The yields obtained were up to 85%.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear organoruthenium complexes of the type [RuX(PPh3)2(L)] (X = Cl or Br; L = 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligand) have been synthesized from the reaction of five 2-(arylazo)phenol ligands with ruthenium(III) precursors, viz. [RuCl3(PPh3)3] and [RuBr3(PPh3)2(CH3OH)] in benzene under reflux. In all these reactions, the 2-(arylazo)phenolate ligand replaces one triphenylphosphine molecule, two chlorides or bromides and one methanol from the precursors leading to five-membered cyclometallated species. The 2-(arylazo)phenol ligands behave as dianionic tridentate C, N, O donors and coordinated to ruthenium by dissociation of the phenolic proton and the phenyl proton at the ortho position of the phenyl ring. The compositions of the complexes have been established by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurement, FT-IR, UV-Vis and EPR spectral data. These complexes are paramagnetic and shows intense d-d and charge transfer transitions in chloroform. The solution EPR spectrum of the complex 7 in dichloromethane at 77 K shows rhombic distortion around the ruthenium ion. The structural conformation of the complex 1 has been carried out by X-ray crystallography. The redox behavior of the complexes has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry and the potentials are observed with respect to the electronic nature of substituents (R) in the 2-(arylazo) phenolate ligands. These complexes catalyze transfer hydrogenation of benzophenone to benzhydrol with up to 99.5% in the presence of i-prOH/KOH. Further, these complexes have shown great promise in inhibiting the growth of both Gram +ve and Gram −ve bacteria, viz. Staphylococcus aureus NCIM 2079 and Escherichia coli NCIM 2065 and fungus Candida albicans NCIM 3102.  相似文献

Reaction of the Schiff base ligand derived from 4-pyridinecarboxaldehyde NC5H4C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2], (1), with palladium(II) acetate in toluene at 60 °C for 24 h gave [Pd{NC5H4C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}2(OCOCH3)2], (2), with two ligands coordinated through the pyridine nitrogen. Treatment of the Schiff base ligand derived from 4-pyridinecarboxaldehyde N-oxide, 4-(O)NC5H4C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2], (4), with palladium(II) acetate in toluene at 75 °C gave the dinuclear acetato-bridged complex [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}(OCOCH3)]2, (5) with metallation of an aromatic phenyl carbon. Reaction of complex 5 with sodium chloride or lithium bromide gave the dinuclear halogen-bridged complexes [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}(Cl)]2, (6) and [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}(Br)]2, (7), after the metathesis reaction. Reaction of 6 and 7 with triphenylphosphine gave the mononuclear species [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}(Cl)(PPh3)], (8) and [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}-(Br)(PPh3)], (9), as air stable solids. Treatment of 6 and 7 with Ph2P(CH2)2PPh2 (dppe) in a complex/diphosphine 1:2 molar ratio gave the mononuclear complexes [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}(PPh2(CH2)2PPh2)][Cl], (10), and [Pd{4-(O)NC5H3C(H)N[2′,4′,6′-(CH3)C6H2]}(PPh2(CH2)2PPh2)][PF6], (11), with a chelating diphosphine. The molecular structure of complex 9 was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.  相似文献

From reactions between different Cu(II) salts and the Schiff base 6-amino-5-formyl-1,3-dimethyluracil-benzoylhydrazone (H2BEZDO) in alcohol, six new copper complexes with simplified formulas [Cu(HBEZDO)(H2O)(MeOH)]NO3 (1), [CuCl(HBEZDO)(DMF)] (2), [CuBr(HBEZDO)]·2H2O (3), CuBr(HBEZDO) (4), Cu(ClO4)(HBEZDO)·H2O (5), and Cu(SO4)1/2(HBEZDO)·1 H2O (6) were isolated. The structures of compounds 1, 2 and 3 have been established by means of XRD diffraction methods. In the three compounds, the Schiff base acts as a tridentate monodeprotonated ligand through the N(6), N(51) and O(52) atoms, making two five- and six-membered chelate rings. In the structure of 1 and 2, the solvent molecules are coordinated giving square-based pyramidal environments, with the basal plane completed by a MeOH (1) or Cl (2) and the apical positions occupied by the oxygen atom of a water (1) or a DMF molecule (2). The molecular unit of the complex [CuBr(HBEZDO)]·2H2O (3) is defined by a square-plane containing the three donor atoms of the organic ligand and a bromide ligand (Cu–Br 2.384 Å), but there is a stronger tetragonally elongated pyramidal geometry around the metal, the apical position of the polyhedron being occupied by a weakly bound-to-copper bromine atom (3.086 Å) of a neighbouring molecule. This fact gives the appearance of an apparent dimer with very asymmetric bromine bridges, in which there are no exchange interactions between metal centres. Also, infrared, magnetic and EPR data of the isolated complexes are reported.  相似文献

The reactions of PdCI2(L-L) [L-L = Ph2PCH2PPh2(dppm), Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2(dppe) and Ph2PCH2CH2CH2PPh2(dppp)] with equivalent amount of (Ph2P(S)NHP(S)Ph2)(dppaS2) gave the complexes [Pd(L-L)(dppaS2-H)]ClO4 [L-L = dppm (1), dppe (2), dppp (3)]. The different synthetic route was used for complex 2 by using of Pd(dppe)Cl2 and K[N(PSPh2)2] as starting materials (2a). All of these complexes have been characterized 31P{1H} NMR, IR and elemental analyses. The complexes 2, 2a and 3 were crystallographically characterized. The coordination geometry around the Pd atoms in these complexes distorted square planar. Six membered dppaS2-H rings are twist boat conformations in three complexes.  相似文献

Treatment of the Schiff base ligands 4-(NC5H4)C6H4C(H)N[2′-(OH)C6H4] (a), 3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H4C(H)N[2′-(OH)-C6H4] (b) and 3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H4C(H) N[2′-(OH)-5′-tBuC6H3] (c) with palladium (II) acetate in toluene gave the poly-nuclear cyclometallated complexes [Pd{4-(NC5H4)C6H3C(H)N[2′-(O)C6H4]}]4 (1a), [Pd{3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H)N[2′-(O)-C6H4]}]4 (1b) and [Pd{3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H)N[2′-(O)-5′-tBuC6H3]}]4 (1c) respectively, as air stable solids, with the ligand acting as a terdentate [C,N,O] moiety after deprotonation of the –OH group. Reaction of the cyclometallated complexes with triphenylphosphine gave the mononuclear species [Pd{4-(NC5H4)C6H3C(H) N[2′-(O)C6H4]}(PPh3)], (2a), [Pd{3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H) N[2′-(O)C6H4]}(PPh3)], (2b) and [Pd{3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H)N[2′-(O)-5′-tBuC6H3)}(PPh3)], (2c) in which the polynuclear structure has been cleaved and the coordination of the ligand has not changed [C,N,O]. When the cyclometallated complexes 1b and 1c were treated with the diphosphines Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2 (dppb), Ph2PC5H4FeC5H4PPh2 (dppf) and Ph2P(CH2)2PPh2 (t-dppe) in a 1:2 molar ratio the dinuclear cyclometallated complexes [{Pd[3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H)N{2′-(O)C6H4}]}2(μ-Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2)], (3b), [{Pd[3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H) N{2′-(O)-5′-tBuC6H3}]}2(μ-Ph2P(CH2)4PPh2)], (3c), [{Pd[3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H)N{2′-(O)C6H4}]}2(μ-Ph2P(η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H4)PPh2)], (4b), [{Pd[3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H) N{2′-(O)-5′-tBuC6H3}]}2(μ-Ph2P(η5C5H4)Fe(η5C5H4)P-Ph2)], (4c) and [{Pd[3,5-(N2C4H3)C6H3C(H)N{2′-(O)-5′-tBuC6H3}]}2(μ-Ph2P(CHCH)PPh2)], (5c) were obtained as air stable solids.  相似文献

This work describes the synthesis, characterisation and reactivity of new methylallyl Pd(II) complexes that contain bidentate 2-(methylthio-N-benzylidene)anilines as ligands. The reaction of the binuclear complex [(η3-Me-allyl)Pd(μ-Cl)2] with AgBF4 causes the total abstraction of the chloride bridges, with the subsequent formation of an intermediary fragment of Pd(II). This fragment in turn reacts with neutral bidentate 2-(methylthio-N-benzylidene)anilines to give cationic complexes of Pd(II) of general formula [(η3-Me-allyl)Pd(η2-S,N-MeSC6H4NCHC6H4(X)Y)]BF4 [X=H, Y=H (1); X=F, Y=H (2); X=Me, Y=H (3); X=H, Y=Cl (4); X=H, Y=Me2N (5); X=H, Y=NO2 (6)]. The new complexes were characterised by means of elemental analysis, IR, NMR [1H, 19F{1H}, 13C{1H}, 31P{1H}, Dept, 1H-1H-COSY, HSQC, HMBC] and mass spectroscopies. The reaction of the Pd(II) complexes with nucleophiles such as NaI, (EtO)2PS2K, KCN, KSCN or NaH lead to the deco-ordination of the bidentate ligands to give dimeric or polymeric complexes of Pd(II). The reactivity pattern observed is discussed by a theoretical analysis based on Fukui functions.  相似文献

Cyclometallated Ru(II) complexes of the type [Ru(CO)(EPh3)2(L)] (E = P or As; L = tridentate hydrazone-derived ligand) have been obtained by refluxing an ethanolic solution of [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)3] or [RuHCl(CO)(AsPh3)3] with the hydrazone derivatives H2php (2-[(2,4-dinitro-phenyl)-hydrazonomethyl]-phenol), H2phm (2-[(2,4-dinitro-phenyl)-hydrazonomethyl]-6-methoxy-phenol) and H2phn (2-[(2,4-dinitro-phenyl)-hydrazonomethyl]-naphthalen-1-ol). The formation of stable cyclometallated complexes has been authenticated by single crystal X-ray structure determination of two of the complexes, and the mechanism of C–H activation is discussed in detail. The spectral (IR, UV–Vis and 1H NMR) and electrochemical data for all the complexes are reported. Electrochemistry shows a substantial variation in the metal redox potentials with regard to the electronic nature of the substituents present in the hydrazone derivative.  相似文献

Several palladacycle and platinacycle complexes have been prepared from easily available or naturally occurring indole derivatives, such as gramine and related compounds. Dimeric complexes were obtained with Pd(OAc)2, while Pt(DMSO)2Cl2 mainly afforded monomeric structures. A notable feature of these reactions was the formation of new M-C bonds between Pd or Pt and C-2 and C-3 of the indole ring. With ligands like 2-(2′-pyridyl)-1H-indoles, N-N metallacycles were generated instead: in fact new C-M bonds with the C-3 position could only form if N-substituted indoles were used. The reactivity of Pd dimeric complexes with PPh3, sym-collidine and DMAP was explored to obtain monomeric complexes. Three such compounds were prepared, one of which was characterized by X-ray diffraction. Metathetical reactions were carried out to effect a ligand exchange replacing OAc with halide ions, with the aim to synthesize μ-Cl and μ-Br bridged structures. Turning to the synthesis of hetaryl complexes, functionalization of the C-2 position on the indole ring was achieved. These complexes were prepared by substitution reactions starting from gramine and/or its alkylammonium salts.  相似文献

By condensation of rimantadine and substituted salicylaldehyde, three new Schiff bases, HL1, HL2 and HL3, were synthesized. Then, a mixture of one of the new ligands and cobalt(II) chloride hexahydrate in ethanol led to 1, 2, and 3, respectively. These complexes were characterized by melting point, elemental analysis, infrared spectra, molar conductance, thermal analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, Pbcn space group; each asymmetric unit consists of one cobalt(II) ion, two deprotonated ligands, and one lattice water. The central cobalt is four coordinate via two nitrogens and two oxygens from the corresponding Schiff base ligand, forming a distorted tetrahedral geometry. Complexes 2 and 3 crystallize in the monoclinic system, P21/c space group; each asymmetric unit consists of one cobalt(II), two corresponding deprotonated ligands, one lattice water, and one methanol. The central cobalt is also four-coordinate via two nitrogens and two oxygens from the corresponding Schiff base ligand, forming a distorted tetrahedral geometry.  相似文献

2,6-Bis(2,5-diphenylphospholyl-1-methyl)pyridine (2) was prepared from the reaction of 2,5-diphenylphospholide anion with 2,6-bis(chloromethyl)pyridine. The X-ray crystal structure of 2 was recorded. Reaction of 2 with [Pd(COD)Cl2] in the presence of AgBF4 yields the cationic complex [Pd(2)Cl][BF4] (3). The analogous Ni complex [Ni(2)Br][BF4] (4) was prepared in a similar way by reacting ligand 2 with [NiBr2(DME)] in the presence of AgBF4 and its formulation was confirmed by an X-ray crystal structure study. Complex 3 efficiently catalyzes the coupling between pinacolborane and iodo and bromoarenes with good TON (up to 1 × 105 with iodo derivatives and 8.9 × 103 with bromo derivatives).  相似文献

The reactions of AMTTO = 4‐amino‐6‐methyl‐1,2,4‐triazine‐thione‐5‐one (AMTTO, 1 ) with 2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde (salicylaldehyde) and 4‐hydroxybenzaldehyde in methanol under reflux conditions led to the corresponding Schiff‐bases ( H2L1 and H2L2 ). The reaction of H2L1 with palladium acetate in ethanol and additional recrystallization from toluene gave the tetrameric complex [Pd(L)]4·2C7H8 ( 2 ). All compounds were characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyses as well as by X‐ray diffraction studies. Crystal data for H2L1 at ?80 °C: space group P21/c with a = 1285.4(1), b = 707.7(1), c = 1348.2(1) pm, β = 109.32(1)°, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0328, H2L2 at ?80 °C: space group P43212 with a = 762.5(1), b = 762.5(1), c = 4038.9(2) pm, Z = 8, R1 = 0.025 and for 2 at ?103 °C: space group C2/c with a = 2862.5(6), b = 2847.6(6), c = 1727.8(4) pm, β = 105.18(3)°, Z = 8, R1 = 0.0704.  相似文献

Three linear trinuclear Schiff base complexes, {Zn[Zn(CH3COO)(C17H16N2O2)]2} ( 1 ), {Zn[Zn(CH3COO)(C25H20N2O2)]2} ( 2 ), and {Cd[Cd(CH3COO)(C18H18N2O2)]2} ( 3 ), were synthesized for the first time under solvolthermal conditions. Their structures have been characterized by elemental analyses, X-ray single crystal determinations, and infrared spectroscopy. There are three bridges across the M-M atom pairs (M is Zn for 1 and 2 , or Cd for 3 ) in each complex, involving two O atoms of a Schiff base ligand (N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-1, 3-propanediaminate (SALPD2-) for 1 , N, N′-bis(2-hydroxy-naphthalmethenylimino)-1, 3-propanediaminate (NAPTPD2-) for 2 , and N,N′-bis-(salicylidene)-1,4-butanediaminate (SALBD2-) for 3 ), and an O-C-O moiety of a μ-acetato group. In each of the complexes, the central M2+ ion is located on an inversion center and has a distorted octahedral coordination involving four bridging O atoms from two Schiff base ligands in the equatorial plane and one O atom from each bridging acetate group in the axial positions. The coordination around the terminal M2+ ions is irregular square pyramidal, with two O atoms and two N atoms of the Schiff base ligand in the basal plane and one O atom from an acetate group in the apical position. The acetate bridges linking the central and terminal M2+ ions are mutually trans. The M…M distances are 3.050(3) Å in 1 , 3.139(2) Å in 2 , and 3.287(6) Å in 3 .  相似文献

Mononuclear palladium(II) complexes containing a pyrazole-thioether ligand, with general formula trans-[Pd(X)2(bddo)] (X = CN (1), SCN (2) or N3 (3); bddo = 1,8-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3,6-dithiaoctane), have been prepared. Similar reactivity carried out with pyridine or triphenylphosphine has been assayed. When pyridine is used, a mixture of [Pd(bddo)(py)2](BF4)2 ([4](BF4)2) and [Pd(bddo)](BF4)2 is obtained. When triphenylphosphine is used, only [Pd(bddo)](BF4)2 is obtained. The complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, IR and NMR spectroscopies. X-ray crystal structure of trans-[Pd(SCN)2(bddo)] (2) is presented. In this complex the metal atom is coordinated by the two azine nitrogen atoms of the pyrazole rings and two SCN anions in trans disposition.  相似文献

Three new mononuclear complexes of copper(II), viz. [Cu(L)(N3)Cl] (1), [Cu(L′)(H2O)]ClO4 (2) and [Cu(L″)] (3) where L = N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-methylpropane-1,3-diamine, L′ = 2-(N-{3-[(3-aminopropyl)(methyl)amino]propyl}ethanimidoyl)phenolate ion and L″ = 2,2′-{(methylimino)bis[propane-3,1-diylnitrilo(1E)eth-1-yl-1-ylidene]}diphenolate ion, have been prepared. The synthesis of complex 1 has been achieved by reacting copper chloride with the triamine (L) and sodium azide in a 1:1:1 M ratio. The other two compounds have been synthesized by the reaction of copper perchlorate with the same triamine, L, plus 2-hydroxyacetophenone in a molar ratio of 1:1:1 (for 2) and 1:1:2 (for 3), so that the respective tetradentate and pentadentate Schiff bases HL′ and H2L″ are formed in situ to bind the copper(II) ions. The complexes have been characterized by microanalytical, spectroscopic and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Structural studies reveal that the mononuclear units of all the three complexes adopt a distorted square pyramidal geometry and are held together by either intermolecular H-bonding (in 1 and 2) or C-H?π interactions (in 3) to form supramolecular networks in the solid state.  相似文献

The reaction of 1-(2,5-dimethylbenzylidene)-3-ethylthiosemicarbazone and palladium acetate in acetic acid yields a trinuclear cyclometallated palladium(II) compound. Each thiosemicarbazone ligand is tridentate with the metal bonded to the carbon atom from the 2-methyl group, to the azomethine nitrogen and to the sulfur atom, which bridges to an adjacent palladium center. The crystal structure confirms the presence of a non-planar hexagonal metallated ring plus a central six-membered palladium-sulfur core within the trimer, which also displays a rather deep intramolecular cavity.  相似文献
