GdAl3(BO3)4及其Yb^3+激活激光晶体的研究   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
采用顶部籽晶法从K2Mo3O10-B2O3助熔剂体系中生长出尺寸达到20 mm的GdAl3(BO3)4(简称GAB)和Yb3 激活的晶体.测试了GAB晶体的<100>和(001)轴向热膨胀系数,确定了透光波长范围,计算了有效倍频系数和相位匹配角随波长的变化,结果表明GAB晶体在整个透光范围内均可实现相位匹配.测定了Yb3 :GAB晶体在室温下的偏振吸收和荧光光谱,进行了光谱计算,测试了晶体的激光性能,在1046 nm处实现了2.1 W激光输出,斜率效率达到58%.  相似文献

The Yb:YAl3(BO3) 4 crystals with different Yb3+ doping concentration have been grown by the flux method. The lattice parameters and decomposition of the Yb:YAl3(BO3)4 crystal with different Yb3+ doping concentration were measured by X‐ray and DTA method. The transmission and fluorescence spectra of Yb3+:YAl3(BO3)4 crystal have been measured. The growth defects of YbxY1‐xAl3(BO3)4 crystals were also detected by using the chemical etching method. The results show that the ytterbium concentration influences these properties of Yb:YAl3(BO3)4. As the Yb3+ concentration increased, the crystal lattice parameter was decreased. At high doping level, the absorption peak concerned at about 980 nm shift to short wavelength. It is also found that the perfection of Yb:YAl3(BO3) 4 crystal with low Yb3+ doping concentration is better than that with high Yb3+ concentration. (© 2003 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. 采用水热法合成了未掺杂和一系列Tb3 +/Sm3+掺杂KY3F10粉体.发射光谱表明,在300 nm激发下,5m3+:KY3F10中Sm3+发光随其掺杂量的增加而减弱;而在Tb3+单掺和Tb3 +/Sm3+共掺样品中,Tb3+发光在1 mol; ~ 20mol;区间内随其掺杂量的增加而增强.Tb3 +/Sm3共掺样品中存在Tb3+→Sm3+能量转移,最高能量转移效率可达93.70;.由于缺陷发光、交叉弛豫、能量转移的协同效应,无论对于单掺抑或共掺样品,皆可获得暖白光发射.且通过改变掺杂成份或激发波长,可实现基于该KY3F10粉体的蓝、绿、黄绿、黄橙、红橙、粉红等多色发光.  相似文献

Optimized conditions for the growth of lanthanoids orthoniobates (LnNbO4, Ln = lanthanide elements) single crystal minirods by a floating zone technique were investigated. Adequate atmospheres and pulling to feeding speed ratios to grow these materials were determined. Emphasis is given to the study of LaNbO4 because of their more favorable growth conditions and crystalline quality. This material can be efficiently doped with rare earth elements such as erbium. It grows with high crystallinity and its preferential growth direction is [1 1 0]. A preliminary evaluation of optical properties of Er3+‐doped LaNbO4 single crystal under the Judd‐Ofelt formalism indicates spectral parameters Ωt close and even larger than for Er3+ ions in YVO4. The dark-brown colored 5 at% Yb-doped YAlO3 (Yb:YAP) single crystal was grown successfully by temperature gradient technique (TGT) for the first time. The TGT-grown Yb:YAP crystal with the perovskite structure and excellent crystallization perfection were confirmed by the X-ray diffractions techniques. The dark-brown color of TGT-Yb:YAP crystal turned into the colorless after annealing in the air at 1200 °C for 10 h. The absorption spectra, LD-excited infrared emission and X-ray excited luminescence spectra of the air-annealed Yb:YAP single crystal were investigated at the room temperature. The results indicate that the TGT-Yb:YAP single crystals can be used for the laser and scintillation applications.  相似文献

The bulk crystals of LiBa12(BO3)7F4 were obtained from two flux compositions by the top seeded solution growth method. Crystals grown from BaCO3:BaF2:H3BO3:Li2CO3 = 3:3:3:1 charge were found to have a distinct linear dichroism effect at 0.35–0.65 and around 0.73 μm. This suggests application of the material in the production of polarizing filters and attenuators for visible range lasers.  相似文献

A sizeable single crystal of YFeO3 (YIP) with the dimensions of 19×15×15 mm3 has been successfully grown by the edge-defined film-fed growth method. Thermal magnetic analysis shows that Curie temperature of as-grown YIP crystal is about 363.5 °C. The hardness of YIP crystal was measured as 900 VDH, equivalent to about 7.1 moh. Moreover, the optical transmittance of as-grown YIP crystal can be significantly enhanced if this crystal was annealed at 700 °C in oxygen atmosphere.  相似文献

We report for the first time the development of Er3+/Si-doped optical fiber amplifier operating at 1550 nm upon 512 nm pumping. Er3+-doped silica glass optical fibers incorporated with silicon particles as the sensitizer were fabricated by the modified chemical vapor deposition and the solution doping technique. The effect of silicon incorporation into the fiber core on the optical absorption and photoluminescence properties was investigated. Upon pumping with the CW Ar-ion laser at 512 nm, a photoluminescence band appeared near 770 nm and 1560 nm. The peak intensity of the photoluminescence at 1560 nm in the Er3+/Si-doped fiber was found to enhance by about 70% compared to the Er3+-doped fiber.  相似文献

采用提拉法生长了尺寸为20mm×30mm的Er3+/Yb3+∶Sr3La2(BO3)4晶体,研究了Er3+/Yb3+∶Sr3La2(BO3)4晶体的吸收光谱和荧光光谱。根据Judd-Ofelt理论分析并计算了辐射跃迁几率、辐射寿命、荧光分支比等光谱参数,获得的唯象参数为:Ω2=15.59×10-20cm2,Ω4=2.25×10-20cm2,Ω6=1.49×10-20cm2。在Er3+/Yb3+∶Sr3La2(BO3)4晶体中Er3+在1533nm处发射跃迁截面为7.88×10-21cm2,Er3+的4I13/2→4I15/2能级跃迁的荧光寿命和辐射寿命分别为0.728ms和4.24ms,结果表明Yb3+对Er3+有敏化作用,提高了对泵浦光的吸收能力,Er3+/Yb3+∶Sr3La2(BO3)4晶体可望作为1.55μm波段的一种有潜力的激光材料。  相似文献

通过单晶提拉法制备了钕镱共掺四钼酸钆钡(BaNd2x Yb2yGd2(1-x-y)(MoO4)4,x=0.1,0.05,0.01,y=0.1)晶体,研究了其热学性能和光谱性能.结果表明,钕镱共掺四钼酸钆钡晶体的熔点为1070.3℃,采用Judd-Ofelt理论计算得到了5at; Nd3+/10at; Yb3+∶BaGd2(MoO4)4晶体中Nd3+的强度参数Ω2.4.6,4F3/2能级的自发辐射几率、跃迁的荧光分支比以及辐射寿命.通过研究该晶体的吸收光谱、荧光光谱以及Yb3+的2 F5/2能级的荧光寿命,分析了Nd3+对Yb3+的敏化作用,对比发现掺杂浓度为1 at; Nd3+/10at; Yb3+的BaGd2(MoO4)4在1013 nm处的荧光寿命最长.  相似文献

(Er,Yb):YAl3(BO3)4 single crystals of optical quality, up to 15 × 10 × 10 mm3 in size, have been grown from a (Er0.023Yb0.116Y0.862)Al3(BO3)4 solution in a Y2O3-B2O3-K2Mo3O10 melt. The initial borate concentration was 17 wt %, and the flux cooling rate increased from 0.08 to 0.12°C/h in the range 1060–1000°C. The physical properties of the single crystals grown are good enough that they can be used as laser elements in systems with diode pumping and radiation near 1.5 μm.  相似文献

In this work, Ce:YAG crystal with the size of ?4 in was successfully grown by the TGT method. The optical and scintillation properties of as-grown Ce:YAG crystals were investigated. Three obvious absorption bands at 223, 340 and 460 nm and two weak color-center absorption bands at 296 and 370 nm are observed in as-grown Ce:YAG crystal. Fluorescence with an emission peak at 398 nm is observed due to the color centers, and absorption bands of the color centers can be eliminated by annealing in O2 or H2 atmosphere at 1673 K for 24 h. Yellow-green fluorescence centered at 530 nm is found when the crystal was excited at 460 nm and the 530 nm excitation spectrum shows two peaks at 340 and 460 nm. X-ray fluorescence spectrum of as-grown crystal shows three emission peaks at 300, 360 and 530 nm. An average light output of 1360 phe/MeV and a single exponential decay with the decay time constant of 62.97 ns are found in as-grown Ce:YAG crystal.  相似文献

A new borate single crystal of Sr3Tb(BO3)3 with dimension Ф20×25 mm2 has been grown by the Czochralski method. The grown crystal was characterized by DTA–TGA, FTIR and X-ray powder diffraction analysis. The results showed the crystal with [BO3]3? is congruently melting at 1351.35 °C which belongs to hexagonal structure. The hardness of Sr3Tb(BO3)3 crystal is 422.5 VDH, and is equal to 5.0 moh. The thermal expansion coefficients were determined to be 2.08×10?5/°C along (1 0 0) direction and 7.43×10?6/°C along (0 0 1) direction and the transmission spectrum was measured in 320–1800 nm at room temperature. The magnetic properties of the single crystal were studied which showed its paramagnetism and magnetic anisotropy. The specific Faraday rotation of single crystal was measured at room temperature in 532, 633, and 1064 nm wavelength. The Verdet constants and magneto-optical figures of merit were investigated. The primary emphasis is laid to explore a new magneto-optical material, all the magneto-optical properties of Sr3Tb(BO3)3 are comparing to the ones of TGG.  相似文献

A Nd3 +-doped transparent oxyfluoride glass ceramic containing Ca5(PO4)3F nanocrystals was prepared by thermal treatment at the crystallization temperature for the precursor glass. The transmittances of the precursor glass and the glass ceramic with a thickness of about 2 mm are up to 84.7% and 77.4% in the visible range. The volume fraction of Ca5(PO4)3F nanocrystals in the glass ceramic is about 19% and the ingress fraction of Nd3 + ions into the Ca5(PO4)3F nanocrystals is about 32%. The peak absorption cross-section increases to 224% at 807 nm and the full width at half maximum for the 807 nm band decreases from 17.5 to 3.5 nm after the crystallization process. The peak stimulated emission cross-section increases from 1.89 × 10? 20 to 2.42 × 10? 20 cm2 at 1062 nm and the effective width of the emission line for the 1062 nm band decreases from 34 to 29 nm after the crystallization process. The improvement of spectroscopic properties indicates that the glass ceramic is potentially applicable as the 1.06 μm laser material.  相似文献

Single crystals of corundum were grown by the top-seeded solution growth technique from a cryolite, Na3AlF6, solvent. The relationship between the growth rate (mg/h) of a crystal and the temperature difference (= supersaturation) or the rotation rate of a seed crystal was investigated, and optimum growth conditions for obtaining single crystals with good quality are discussed.  相似文献

Single crystal of Yb:LuAl3(BO3)4(Yb:LuAB) was grown by the flux method for the first time. The cell parameters of the grown crystal were estimated by X-ray diffraction analysis. The result indicates the symmetry of trigonal space group R32, with lattice parameters a=b=9.26372 Å, c=7.21405 Å, V=536.14 Å3, and Z=4. The absorption and emission spectra of Yb:LuAB crystal at room temperature has also been studied. The fluorescence lifetime for Yb:LuAB crystal is about 1.48 ms. The heat capacity was measured from 25 to 500 °C. Its second harmonic generation efficiency in LuAl3(BO3)4 crystal is 3–4 times that of KDP crystal. These results show that Yb:LuAB crystal would be a potential self-frequency-doubling laser crystal.  相似文献

本文回顾了(Nd3+,Yb3+):Ca3(VO4)2晶体的研究历程,通过对晶体结构和对晶体激光性能研究年代的对比,认为高的泵浦阈值是由于晶体中存在的对泵浦光和激光散射很强的畴壁结构未被发现而造成的.讨论了极化的原理、建立了极化装置,采用Laue定向法和X射线定向仪定向法结合解决了(Nd3+,Yb3+):Ca3(VO4)2这种大晶格常数(c=3.8029nm)晶体的定向问题.把晶体的抛光面放入0.5mol;的温度为30℃的硼酸中腐蚀样品1h,用显微镜可以观察到畴结构.在~1100℃和电流密度为~10μA/mm2的条件下极化2h即可完成极化.变黑的极化样品可以通过把晶体放入马福炉中升温至850℃,保持1h,然后降至室温即可消除.  相似文献
